Pastries, savory small & large plates, coffee, wine and a full bar… what more could you want? All that plus a welcoming interior with an urban style and friendly staff. We stopped in late in the day and I asked the competent staff for a decaf cappuccino with almond milk which was perfectly made. The apple turnover was scrumptious, filled with actual apple slices, not apple pie filling. The profiterole were incredibly light and so delicious! I highly recommend Ephesus Meze & Wine Bar, if you’re visiting or if you live in Seattle, make it your daily hangout!

My favorite restaurant! The food is so fresh and healthy . Very good vibe in this place and the worker’s are friendly and professional. And there's street parking and a huge parking lot right next to it. I highly recommend it!!!!

Amazing Baklava and Gelato! When your walking around Pioneer Square stop by for a treat or sit down for a full meal. There are so many wonderful things to discover at this amazing little hidden gem.

So good! Chefs pan with pasta, and there's a side salad with a really good dressing! The chicken is amazing! I'll definitely be back again! My new favorite place. He's a picture of the Turkish dumplings with regular sour cream with paprika (no garlic).

Decided to try Ephesus Meze & Wine Bar prior to attending a sounders game. Ordered Turkish dumplings and shakshuka + drinks (aperol spritz and old fashioned). Food was decent, but would definitely come back to try other items on the menu

Wonderful breakfast! The shakshuka had a nice spice, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating

February 2024: Really impressed with the level of service and how cute the space is. The dips are phenomenal, especially liked the feta cheese dip! The lentil soup was unfortunately lacking depth of flavor, but the presentation and the roll that accompanied the soup were delightful. Overall would definitely recommend you come and check out! Would especially be a great spot for a group to meet up after work or for a casual community meeting! There’s a few larger table spaces available. Update March 2024: Since this cafe is new, I tried to stop by for breakfast today, but they only have sit down options. Even the breakfast sandwich came with a salad and was $15, not convenient or easy to grab and go unfortunately: also $15 is a bit steep for a breakfast sandwich.

Located by the park near Pioneer Square, it’s a lovely restaurant in a quiet setting and a number of tables were just sitting around and enjoying their wine. The restaurant is situated in the park and there’s no roads running in front of it. Great place to sit down at any time of the day.

Yelp
Stopped by before heading to the mariners game and the menu has a little bit of everything! It was the perfect place to get a bite! We got the trio spread for 19$ and chose hummus, tzatziki and spicy feta and all three were so so yummy! My only complaint is that for four people to split there wasn't enough pita bread to go around, (which we totally could have asked for more). My friends got cocktails and recommend the Negroni! While I got a London fog which was perfection! The atmosphere was really relaxed, with dim lighting in the afternoon! The staff were kind and also very friendly!

Yelp
Have visited a couple of times since they opened near work first time was treating a friend for her birthday last year and most recently for restaurant week. Their $20 SWR menu had very generous portions. The entree I picked was a little sweet for me but that's on me for not asking about it. They offered a choice of all their bentos for the entree I had the Barbecus. Each entree comes with a salad and a choice between noodles or rice. I selected the rice. You also gpt a choice between I think 3 or 5 different appetizers I selected the hummus with pita and veggies. And dessert was a choice of one of the variety of flavors of gelato they carry I had the black sesame. Great sized portions and made to order. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Yelp
THE MATCHA HERE IS SO GOOD!!! one of the creamiest and best matchas here in Seattle. Other than that, I fairly enjoyed the hummus and the dips with pita!!

Yelp
We went back to this cafe and had some of the food. Also great! Large portions of the 3 dips served with warm pita AND lightly salted veggies. Generous portion of moussaka was delicious. Served with fresh cucumber tomato salad with nice portions of feta cheese and some olives. Service is from the counter but they brought the food to the table. Staff is very friendly. They recommended the Turkish variation of baklava (they also have a Greek version with honey) which was a nice way to end the meal. The cafe is quiet and comfortable.

Yelp
We walked in and took a shot (figuratively). We had their shrimp plate thing that tasted like I microwaved leftovers from a superior restaurant. It was simple and quick but other than that, pass.

Yelp
Great food! Quick service and great location. Host was funny and helped us get what we wanted with our drinks and food! Good music, nice view, and calm ambience.

Yelp
I recently visited here and was quite disappointed with the ratio of pita bread to dips. The pita-to-dip ratio was horribly imbalanced, leaving us with far too much dip and not enough pita to enjoy it with. Our request to get extra pita bread was denied when requested. We would have to have paid more. It's unfortunate that this aspect overshadowed an otherwise promising dining experience. I hope they address this issue in the future to enhance their customers' enjoyment of their delicious dips.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab a quick drink before the game. I was a little cold so i had an Irish Coffee. The gentleman who helped us was so kind and patient. Delicious. It seems so many people use mediocre, coffee and making an Irish coffee. Not here good coffee, nice score of Jamison whiskey, and Bailey's cup with whipped cream with drizzle. Took the chill away. So glad we stop by. Next time we're definitely gonna grab some food because it looked so good.

Yelp
Wow! I ordered the Greek Salad and Baklava. Both were beautiful presentation and very tasty! Service was amazing. And I loved the casual but contemporary interior aesthetic. Don't pass by Ephesus without checking it out!

Yelp
Food (and gelato!!) is great. Service is kind. Ambiance is lovely, and the restaurant is located on a peaceful public square with tables and a kids' play area. Really a sweet spot!

Yelp
I'm going to start by saying that the food was good. The beet salad, dolmas and dips (especially the eggplant spread) were delicious. However, the pita to dips ratio was terrible. I asked for extra and I was told, mind you very rudely, 'sure come pay up front first'. Which first of all, we ordered over 6 mains and a few appetizers, you could not throw in another pita? Pita is the cheapest thing. And secondly, dont be rude to your only people in the restaurant.

Yelp
We've been coming about once a week to this new Ephesus location in Occidental Square since they opened in May and love it as an addition to the neighborhood. It is nice but also casual with delicious food that takes a little time to prepare. I'd say it is a great place for lunch in or takeout, an after work or pre-game place to unwind with a glass of wine, or eat dinner inside or alfresco. Order at the counter and find a place to sit. If they're getting busy, it may take a bit, but food will come to you. The team is friendly and works hard to make sure you have what you need. They've been training new folks but have handled the pre-game deluge pretty well. I saw the review of poor service. That hasn't been our experience over the last couple of months. Like any new business, they need time to train staff, figure out the right staffing model, and develop efficiency. Taking a sudden rush of pre-game/concert people who are in a hurry would be hard for a seasoned crew too. We eat out several times/week and everyone is having staffing challenges so giving a little grace when our downtown is still trying to recover is the right thing to do from a community spirit perspective. The menu has been changing as they adapt to what works well for the neighborhood and game/concert crowd. Food: There are pastries or egg dishes available for breakfast along with your preferred espresso drink. Lunch/dinner: You can get a few small plates and nibble. The trio of dips is maybe too much for one, but great for two or more. We recommend the Greek Village salad as a nice veggie side. It's full of cucumber, tomato, red onion, olives and a big slide of feta on top. (Great of a hot summer day) Moussaka - A lovely comfort food. Tip: It may not be for those who find cinnamon used in a savory dishes strange. The dumplings are a nice light creamy pasta type dish. Dessert: a nice slice of baklava with that light flaky pastry top and sweet nutty center or gelato is a nice way to end your meal. Tip: Look at the counter in case there's a daily special. We've had a delicious lamb shank and borscht another time.

Yelp
Fresh authentic dolmas, hummus and baklava! Wondered in here before a Mariners game, ordered some apps and drinks and ended up staying for a second and third round. Great spot!

Yelp
Large portion size. I ordered the vegetarian Moussaka. It had a delicious blend of Mediterranean spices and came with a small Shepherds Salad. I started dinner with an espresso martini, which may keep me awake tonight, but it is worth it. Oh, and did I mention the multiple gelato options? This is my first time dining here, but definitely not my last.

Aria R.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere even better service! I came for the gelato and they have lots of flavors. Would come back again if I was in the area.

Yelp
Ephesus has delicious food, indoor and outdoor seating, and a price range that can't be beat. Lunch can be anything from a $5 croissant sandwich to a full plated meal for $24. I'm trying them all! So far in love with pistachio latte, cabbage rolls, soup, apple turnovers, tiropita, and grape leaves. And there is GELATO! Locally made with an assortment of flavors.

Siarra B.

Yelp
LOVE!! so esthetically pleasing, great location, food is bomb! worth the visit. We got the bacalava, dolmas, and hummus 10/10 great vibe for sure.

Yelp
They don't have hookah, unlike the West Seattle location. And thus there's no real reason to come here. The food is okay, but not okay enough for the prices. Sad, really, as I loved the old location.

Dan W.

Yelp
Really nice breakfast. Out table had avocado toast, breakfast croissant and shaksuka. All were perfect. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
kids friendly, good food, perfect for lunch. Don't eat the hot pepper in the hot feta dish. The feta dip was good but my throat was in pain after eating it! Otherwise great good and ambience

Yelp
Loved the pistachio latte! The baklava was too sweet. The matcha latte was not bad, cute patio seating. I'd have their pistachio latte again.

Yelp
The service here is terrible. You have to bus your own tables while the employees sit around and talk just to have somewhere to sit. The location is great and ambiance is cute, but not enough to make up for the service. I wouldn't go back.

Yelp
nice and friendly staff, i only had gelato which was alright, kind of a small portion, but otherwise i cant common on the rest of their menu. it's nice and quiet inside and a nice view.

Mahdi D.

Yelp
super good food! i got the greek salad with salmon and my friend got it with shrimp. the food was really well seasoned and flavorful, and everything tasted fresh. one of the best greek salads i've had in seattle for sure. staff were super friendly and there was a nice ambiance in there. there's also a nice view of pioneer square from the window. quintessential seattle!

Yelp
We made a reservation three weeks in advance for a concert got there the day of and they said they don't respect reservations on game days... could've called.
