Epic Double Decker

Food was tasty Had the burger with fries first time. Hit the spot. Had a veggie pie with pepperoni pan pizza. That was really good. Chicken sandwich was pretty good too.

Epic Double Decker is an awesome place to eat and have fun. Open mic night on Monday Nights is the best way for a family to enjoy each other's company. Their pizza is awesome especially the inside out pizza. I love the grilled chicken Caesar salad. They top it with so much fresh grilled chicken, that I always have enough for two meals. They have enough great food for the whole family. Thank you Epic for always making our trip excellent.

This place was good. Very friendly service and kind people that work there. At the end of the day the Chicken Ceaser Wrap and then Chicken Ceaser Salad were good but more average at best. I would compare it to a wawa wrap. Not bad but nothing to write home about.

We ordered eight inside outs on Saturday. The plan ones barely had anything in them. We ordered a buffalo chicken and we ended up getting a barbecue chicken. Though the veggie inside outs were tasty. I'll be thinking twice before coming back.

First time here and took the recommendation of one of the workers. He did not disappoint the cheese steak egg rolls, the cheese steak the way he recommended it all was very delicious. I will definitely be eating here again. Thank yall from a down south Texas visitor.

Cheesesteak w/ cooper on seeded roll was fantastic. I ordered delivery because I’m recovering from spinal surgery and the driver walked it up some stairs to me. I’ve been in the restaurant though and it’s pretty cool in there. A retro vibe

The food made me throw up three times. There are mice in the kitchen and I would just never suggest you go to this place ever . The food is way too greasy. They don't even use the finest ingredients either.

There food is good but the service stinks. Catering order for 1230 pick up and not ready until 1250. Saw it sitting there waiting for pick up and kept ignoring my request to give it to me. Had paid for it a week in advance. Three different employees said it was ready. None would hand it to me. No thank you for order. Had 30 people waiting at my house. Ugh

Their pizza is very good. Sauce is good; I always get extra cheese. People who work there are nice as well as efficient.

Slowly this place has fell years ago the OG double decker in Ridley park was the best now years past and media has shit the bed. Dog shit food service why am I waiting 40 minutes for 1 single inside out. Complete and total bullshit takes 5-10 min in an oven to cook and I called 30 min before arrival how you still not cook bread w sauce Sad to say bud DOUBLE DEKCER SUCKS ASS

double decker used to be so good until they changed the branding to epic double decker. The food now doesn't have many variants but it is ok. The food takes sooo long to get to you. The reason it is called double decker is because it has a massive second floor That is quite pretty.

Very good costumer service, employee was extremely nice and funny on the phone when ordering and that extended to my interaction when picking my pizza up.

One of my more favorite places to order pizza in the area. They also make a great chicken parmigiana sandwich (on a long roll), and over the years that they've been here, I have never once been disappointed. They have recently rebranded to Epic... I don't know what that means. So far, nothing has changed, I'm told it's the same management, just a rebranding... so even though they're rebranding, service and quality remain consistent and top quality. Highly recommended.

Epic pizza is one of my favorite places to visit! The employees are so friendly and welcoming and they always make you feel welcomed and appreciated! They are fast and reliable with their service! They are clean inside and out! They have recently re-opened their upstairs dining and they even have bands playing in the evening or you can reserve it for a graduation or group even! Iam not sure what days they have live music, you will need to go in and ask, I was too busy enjoying the food too take note! Anyway, Thank you Epic for your wonderful food and service too our community!

I had been wanting to try Double Decker for a while, mainly so I could try one of their crepes, and i finally got my chance earlier this week. My parents were in town and we were trying to figure out where to go for a quick lunch before heading to Trader Joe's for some shopping - and voila - a light bulb went off in my head and we made a beeline for Double Decker. The service was great and we all enjoyed our lunch. My mom had a wrap and my step-dad had a hoagie, and I finally got to try a crepe. I ordered the first one on the menu - the grilled chicken crepe - but customized it a little. It was really good and I liked the crepe part of it - it was a bit thicker than previous crepes I've had. When I told my oldest daughter about it, she insisted that I go back soon to try their inside outs. They caught my eye when I was looking at the menu, so I think I will be dragging my husband there as soon as I can. Overall, I'm glad I finally got around to trying Double Decker.

Nice enough at the counter...although when you ask if the French fries are coated and you're told no, they shouldn't be! My wife got an inside out...her fav! Not fully baked and the cheese wasn't completely melted! I had a cheesesteak wit American Saltiest cheesesteak I've ever had! Eat in the place was a mess!!! Not sure I'll go back!!

Go to the other double decker in chads ford, they actually make your food exactly how you want it. If you want to order lunch and tell them exactly how you want your food cooked but they just do what they want, this is the place for you.

Amazing spot, tons of great options. This is so needed for my family who all wants something different. Our go to spot.

So they appear when you search gluten free but when you visit they have no gluten free options.. They say you can have it without a bun but everything is cooked together so this in essence isn't gluten free. False advertising.

Traditionally I've been hot and cold in general on Double Decker. I grew up with their inside outs. I loved them as a child of the 70's. I used to get them for my birthday. They've been a Delco institution. It's not that I think they're bad. I just think other places do the ISOP better now. My main thing is that I never think Double Decker's has enough filling. They taste great. But it seems like I eat half of it where the filling isn't there until I'm halfway through. I realize this could be an issue with any ISOP out there. I mean, all the cheese and sauce going to one end isn't unreasonable. But I can name one local competitor where this doesn't happen and is generally full of more ingredients. Otherwise; everything I've ever eaten at Double Decker has been tasty. I don't dislike them. And I've always gotten fine service. But this is the reason I don't go often.

I will say delivery is quick. And the drivers are so so nice and prompt. However since the new owners the food has gone down hill and the prices went up. The weird drink container for fountain soda is horrible. The food is cold. And the chicken sandwich I ordered was honestly inedible. It was so tough and dry I couldn't bite or cut through it. These shoe string fries are ice cold and soggy. This place used to be the best. I feel bad for the drivers.

I ordered from double decker pizza last night and have eaten a few ISOP's from there before- I wish I had stuck with what I knew was good before ordering anything else. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and cheese fries through door dash. The food arrived quickly, still hot, and the fries were still crispy and delicious. The cheese with the fries however, was not even warm and was very clumpy- kind of like it was the bottom of the cheese container. The pizza sauce was one of the better sauces I've tasted from local pizza shops but I knew this beforehand since I've always ordered the ISOP's but this pizza crust tasted beyond stale. The strange thing was it wasn't overdone, it almost looked like it was a microwaved pizza crust or something. It's hard to describe but all I know is it was not good. I'll never order a pizza from double decker again but I'll definitely return for more of the ISOP's !

It had been a longggg time since I'd been to Double Decker, but I remembered how good this inside out pizzas were. I just happened to be in the area for a showing and had my fiance with me. We were both hungry after my showing and it dawned on me that this place was nearby so we went and it did not let my memory of it down! We split one Buffalo chicken inside out pizza and one Hawaiian inside out pizza and an order of fries. The inside out pizzas come almost as a personal calzone. All the meat and cheese are on the inside and the dough is wrapped around it and then baked and fried so that they nice and crispy when it comes out. When you cut into them the cheese slowly oozes out. I finished both of my halves easily. My fiance however had to bring some home. I tried to finish it for her but she wasn't having it. Oh and the fries were really good too. Nice and thick but still really crispy. My clients are solely looking to buy in media so this may have to be my stop on the way home for now on lol.

This place has amazing customer service and great food. Burgers, Strombolis and crepes are all phenomenal. keep up the good work!

Double Decker is the best!!! The workers are always so pleasant and the service is great every time I visit. I usually do takeout but today I ate in and like always, the food was delicious like I expected. Please check them out, they're right in the heart of Delco, you won't be disappointed I promise.

This restaurant is known for the Double decker pizza. My wife has had it at her work in the past and we were keen to have it at home. Every online order has been terrible and the restaurant does not seem to care. Our first time ordering it was pretty sad. A baked bread and pizza mess that was soft and flavorless. So tonight I gave it another try and requested that it be fried on the online request. Also called and the employee on the phone promised that this would be fried and crisp. It was not. I called to comment on this and the employee who answered was apathetic and stated that the good pizzas are ordered earlier, what ever that means. I would suggest that a business who cares so little does not warrant another order for us.

The interior is comfortable and cheery. Weekends are crammed with families and kids so I go during the week Nice personal pizza's. This visit I had mushroom, anchovy and sausage. It was good :-) Their steaks are very good. Fries are ok. The best thing is $4 Stella's ! Don't be discouraged by what seems to be a lack of parking. There is plenty on the side and back. .

I've tried Double Decker quite a few times because I love an ISOP. I have to say I've walked away disappointed each time. The ISOPs have always ended up soggy with very little filling. Not sure I plan on giving them a try again.

I previously lived in Ridley Park, home of the original double decker pizza. So when I moved to Media, I knew I'd frequent this place. I've picked up and ordered delivery from them. When delivering, the delivery staff have always been polite and friendly. They also do the contactless thing as needed "during these unprecedented times." The food, for the most part is like any other pizzeria. Their pizzas are better than average, if you like the Greek-style pizza. Most of the other entrees are what you would expect from a neighborhood take out place. But you don't call double decker to order most of the other stuff. That's extra. What you want is an inside-out pizza. and no one makes an inside out as well as double decker. It doesn't matter what toppings (are they still called toppings if they are not on top but inside? Maybe they are insidings) you'd like, if it's good on pizza, you'll like it in here. They offer baked and fried varieties. Both are delicious, sometimes I order baked if I want to pretend I'm being healthy. But try these. You will thank me.

Good food. Their gyros are good for a pizza place. Don't like the fact that they charge me 50 cents for a table spoon of gyros sauce, when everytime i ask for extra sauce. I don't see them give me 50 cents back for not wanting lettuce in my gyros. LOL. Like the curb side pick up, definitely a factor to order from here, and staffs are friendly.

VERY nasty establishment with rude staff and no care at all for their customers. I've eaten here plenty of times with coworkers over the years, but today they prepared my salad and french fries all wrong. The salad was hot to the touch and thus it wasn't really good for me personally. As for the fries, they were very soggy and not at all tender or flavorful. I called and raised these concerns with the manager (who never gave a name, but it was a man) at the restaurant and asked could I bring it back to have it remade to which I was shot down, so then I told him I would simply bring it back for a refund to which I was then told that "we make perfect food over here" and it wouldn't be remade nor refunded. The manager also claimed that I took the salad home to swap it out with something else in an attempt to dupe them, but I am actually at work. I am highly disappointed and will not be returning here and I will also be letting my coworkers know just how rude this establishment.

Pizza's aight, crepes are amazing. Overall - place is fast, affordable and friendly.

I got the Original Inside-Out Pizza - Fried with Pepperoni, Chicken Steak, Hot Peppers. It was delicious! And they delivered it to the car.

Wanted to on-line order cheesesteak. $18+ with tax. Plus Tech fee !!! Epic needs to carry smaller steaks than one that costs $18. And absorb the Tech fee - customers should not have to pay Tech fee. This new 'Epic' place with 'Epic' prices for Epic size cheesesteaks needs to seriously reconsider some things.

Food is pretty good. Ordered a regular cheesesteak and a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and gotta say I was disappointed for the price. They are by no means the best sandwich in town but they are not so great that they should be charging $11.75 for a plain cheesesteak and $12.55 for a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Could have put more cheese on both in my opinion. It's also highly disappointing that the menu they have sitting on their counter for you to take with you does not reflect the prices charged on the receipt.

I did a take out order from Double Decker Pizza and the pizza is good. The pizza has a thicker, buttery crust, with a thick layer of cheese. As the picture shows, they are not skimpy on the pepperoni, which is awesome. My favorite part is the pizza saver that says pizza on it. It's so cute.

I bought a chicken Caesar salad from Said place and the chicken was not cooked all the way through. Make sure you check your food after purchase. They also have new management and now they are charging a Technology Vendor fee which is $1.00. When you order on-line.

the lady that took my order repeated my order back to me twice and they still made my food how they wanted. had it delivered to my hotel room the delivery driver dropped my food off and never told me! the front desk had to call me because the delivery driver said he was going to let me know and he didn't even call here it is almost two hours later and I'm just getting my food! my sodas was very warm and my food wasn't made how I wanted it! This was horrible service all around

the EPIC burgers are PHENOMENAL- the chicken teriyaki and fiesta bowls are amazzzzzing!!! the cheese steak eggs rolls- the chicken ceasar salad, their new epic pizzas are all so delicious!! way to go EPIC, whoever you guys are you're doing an amazing job and my family loves coming there! Double Decker was good... but you guys are EPIC!!! also I must let you know the ambiance is great.. we love the tunes you guys play while we're dining in and everyone is super friendly and super helpful who work there. Our GO TO in media!! if you haven't tried this spot out, you totally have to!!!! PS. our daughter loves the chicken nuggets sooo much - they are pure white meat and im always looking for a healthier alternative for my kids.. i love that you guys don't use MSG!!! huge win for my family!! customers for life!! :)

They will get your order wrong every time. I've lived around this place for as long as they have been open and they have never, not once, gotten an order correct even when they repeat it back. It's a shame because the food is actually good. I wouldn't count on this place.

As someone who grew up next to the original double decker in Ridley, this place is a joke. Why would a well done inside out come baked instead of fried? I wanted to show an out of towner, who is staying with us, what an inside out is and that didn't happen. Pretty sad if you ask me, they should send a cook up from Ridley to better teach whomever is making the current "food"

This is a beautiful new restaurant in the place where three former storefronts existed including the Gluten-free Pasta Company. It has been absolutely remodeled into a very modern location reminiscent of something like a yuppie location in Washington DC instead of media PA. The place is immaculate. New. Clean and spotless. It has two stories for diners to look over the Baltimore Pike traffic and people. It is a wonderful sitdown eatery, a takeout location, and a delivery place. The colorfully adapted VW bus sitting outside lends a beautifully vintage flavor. I came in and tried one of their luscious salads for lunch. It was absolutely delicious. Now I have to come in for dinner and try one of their double-decker pizzas.

Remember when the teacher graded tests on a scale because no one did well? Pizza in Delaware County needs to be graded that way. If you don't feel like driving into the city to get a Gennaros Tomatoe Pie ,Beddia ,Nomad, SLiCe or any of the other pies that have elevated our pizza game in Philly, you need to temper your expectations when you stay locally. Double Decker supply's the Ridley Wrestling Boosters the slices they sell at each home match. Typical of most Booster slices, they are usually more to the colder side. It never tasted that bad so I thought I'd try a hot, fresh, out-of-the-oven pie at their beautiful new location in Media. This spacious shop has two floors for you to eat your food, ice cold beer to drink there or take out and a large kitchen well staffed to handle your order. I tried the small personal pan size plain pie and the 5 hot buffalo wing sampler. Had a diet Dr Pepper to drink. The verdict? The pizza had a light crust although it was far from crispy. More to a thicker Greek crust of which I'm not a fan. The three cheeses were ok. The sauce tasted like it came out of a can. The wings were ok. Not horrible. Not great. I wanted them to the well side but these didn't come that way. Included was three pieces of celery and ranch dressing. Reminded me of New London in Prospect Park in that the pizza was cooked in a pan and they also use a blend of cheeses.But overall I prefer New London much more. Don't think I'll be back. Next time, I just make the drive to New London or seek out somewhere I haven't been that my favorite Yelpers give good grades to.

Got the inside out with cheese pepperoni and green peppers. This basically is the size of a Pzone from Pizza Hut. The boss took me here and she never described how small it is. Sharing it left us wanting more .. We ordered double decker fries - cheese bacon ranch topping- they were very good!! Tip: If you are sharing get two inside outs.. Or a couple appetizers. Nothing really special about this place - just kind of was good.

I only went here for one reason the Inside-out Pizza. It did not disappoint, I mean who doesn't like deep fried pizza. The place is huge and consists of 2 floors, with plenty of tables to dine. The whole place was very clean, They serve beer and wine as well. I looked over the menu while I waited for my inside outs. Normal pizza joint with Wings, Hoagies, Steaks and of course Pizza. 2 inside outs and a drink ran me about $10. The inside out was delicious, I used a knife and fork as the sauce and cheese oozed out as i sliced into it. If you are in the area you need to at least give it a whirl. I know I will be back again in the future.

I LOVE Double Decker. This location has so much variety and everything I order is always perfect. Pizza, great! Crepes, delicious! Fries, yummy! I recently tried the flatbread pizza...so so good! I order from here at least once a week.
