Loop 9 Might Be the Next Big Barbecue Chain Out of Texas - Eater Dallas

"Loop 9 is a new barbecue venture by Larry Lavine located in EpicCentral, Grand Prairie, Texas. It specializes in prime brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork, and Meyer’s Elgin sausage. The pork ribs are particularly memorable with a Coca-Cola based rub. The restaurant offers barbecue sides like potato salad, elotes, pinto beans, and coleslaw. Desserts include key lime pie and banana cream pudding made from recipes developed by Lavine's wife. The design is no-frills, aiming to serve large crowds, and it is positioned to become a chain." - Courtney E. Smith

My husband and I had date night here yesterday (Friday night) it was our first time coming. Both, him and I had such a great time. We had dinner at Vidorra (1 1/2 hour wait) but while we waited, we walked around, saw the light show, took pictures. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Family friendly environment and perfect for date night.

We went for the Illuvia water show. It was pretty fun. We took our own food but for those on a budget, Serious had a deal with a pizza slice, tots, and a drink for $10. Highly recommend EpicCentral.

Family friendly , a lot of different places to eat. Free parking and free light show perfect to bring Family from out of town without braking the bank. And for the Dads, YES, THEY DO SELL BEER 🥰.

If youre not from here the place is very confusing. All I seen was a bunch of restaurants. I thought it was a shopping mall. Might be but I didnt see the mall part. You can walk down and theres a little lake that does a water fountain light show which is pretty cool in the dark. It has music with it too. Theres a little light walkway down into the area which is cool In the dark as well but not much else to do that I seen while walking. Great place to walk if thats what youre looking to do.

Loved the evening vibe and the fountain show! But they definitely need to change the style and video now 😂 — I’ve been seeing the same show for the past 2 years. The best part, though, is the overall vibe and the beautifully lit bridge

The dinosaur festival was exceptionally enjoyable from start to finish. We arrived at 11:30 AM and departed around 5:00 PM. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the DJ skillfully incorporated the dinosaur theme into every selection. Numerous engaging activities for children were available throughout the venue, along with restaurants catering to both children and adults. I would certainly attend again next year.

Yelp
First time at Epic Central Park. I've been wanting to try the Chicken N Pickle, but haven't had a chance to play pickleball there yet. Walked around with my family and tried Vidorra, which was pretty good Mexican food. The park has some nice areas to walk or bike and other areas like the grassy fields to sit and enjoy the surrounding. We didn't stay late enough to see the fountain lights that start at 830p. Maybe next time. Otherwise, a really nice place to just enjoy the weather, while walking. We checked out the water park area which is $25 per person, which isn't bad. Maybe next time we can go there. It's a perfect place to take your family, go out with friends or on a date or even just to exercise.

Yelp
Gorgeous park to take a walk around. There is a beautiful fountain in the lake. There are many restaurants along the walkway to choose from. This is a great place to bring a family.

Yelp
I am giving one story, twice I have been out here, no music playing with the water show. The second time which is tonight, it was playing as I was walking towards and now nothing. I see a lot of people sitting around, but nothing. What is the problem?

Yelp
Does anyone know if I can set up a proposal here with a few decorations? Looks very pretty!
