"This cheerful, trendy eatery stands in a side street off the busy Rue Sainte Catherine. From his tiny kitchen at the rear of the dining room, chef Benjamin Wavrant whips up a bargain-priced bistronomic lunchtime menu that changes weekly in line with the seasons and market availability. The evening score is more ambitious and voluntarily gastro-leaning. A buzzy vibe, spot-on, gutsy food and slick, seamless service: the epitome of a good food establishment that draws us back time and time again." - Michelin Inspector

We were so lucky to get a table here without reservation, it was Saturday evening and we just arrived to Bordeaux. Restaurant is small and very cosy, it was serving fixed menu that evening. We liked everything we tried, food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented pared with good vine. Best words for chef and waiter professional yet friendly. Highly recommended.

We had a stunning meal at this restaurant. The service was esquisite and there was a lovely ambiance in the small restaurant. The open kitchen meant we could relax and watch the chef work tirelessly to produce plate after plate of wonderful food and he looked as if he was loving every moment. The menu if reasonable considering the quality of food you are receiving. The highlight for us was the foie gras with butternut squash. I would highly recommend booking this if you're in Bordeaux.

Overall a Very Nice and tasty experience. The waiter and the chef are welcoming and attentive to the customers. The place feels cosy and the choice of stuffing it with thousands of small tables definitely pays and creates a relaxed and relaxed enjoyable environment. The presentation of the food was interesting and eye catching. I recommend it.

This chef is phenomenally talented, creative, and humble. The restaurant is 8 or so tables, the meal is perfectly timed, and just like the French there is no rush or shortage of great wines. The menu is fresh daily. This entire experience is the very definition of simple elegance. Go, just go.

We had the most amazing lunch here! The menu is small but, wow, so good. I genuinely wanted to order a second portion of the beef. Great service too, a definite must in Bordeaux!!

Beautiful food. It’s a small restaurant, so I would recommend making a reservation. The food was wonderful, light and delicious, and the staff very friendly (including speaking great English). They even adapted a vegetarian main as a substitute for the menu du jour.
