Everything about this restaurant is wonderful! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the chef and staff. The menu is simple, with just the right number of options, which makes choosing easy. The starter, foie gras, was a delightful surprise—the sauce complemented it perfectly. For the main course, we chose the lamb, and it was cooked to perfection: tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Dessert was also excellent—light, refreshing, and not too sweet. Although we usually enjoy traditional French cuisine, last night was a fantastic surprise. We had a great time and would highly recommend this restaurant

We really enjoyed our dinner at the epicentre a lot. The place is run by just two guys, one in the kitchen, one in service and still they somehow manage to provide really good Bistro cuisine and great service. The menu is reduced to basically one choice for the main plate and you can see that the concept "less is better" works here. The kitchen focuses on few things with perfection in 2 amuse bouche and 3 courses (plus cheese if you like). Also the wine menu is great as it offers a wide range starting already at 30€ a bottle and it will still be a great wine. The guys speak very well English and even a bit Spanish. So no worries for foreigners like us. The atmosphere is really relaxed and easy going. The chef chats with guests he knows with his pans sizzling in the kitchen, while the service even finds the time to fill up water glasses. We definitely recommend.

We were thrilled with our experience and loved our meal. We had two choices to make besides what we wanted to drink and we love this concept. It means the kitchen (in this case the one chef) can do a few things exceptionally well without unnecessary distraction. The place seats 18 and filled up quickly. We were provided with two delicious amuses bouches before the first course. We opted not to do the cheese course (we’ve been traveling and eating out a lot) and ordered one of each of the options (fish or veal). Dessert was fruit based which as a non-chocolate person made me very happy. You can’t go wrong dining here.

We were so lucky to get a table here without reservation, it was Saturday evening and we just arrived to Bordeaux. Restaurant is small and very cosy, it was serving fixed menu that evening. We liked everything we tried, food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented pared with good vine. Best words for chef and waiter professional yet friendly. Highly recommended.

Overall a Very Nice and tasty experience. The waiter and the chef are welcoming and attentive to the customers. The place feels cosy and the choice of stuffing it with thousands of small tables definitely pays and creates a relaxed and relaxed enjoyable environment. The presentation of the food was interesting and eye catching. I recommend it.

Wow, an amazing find in Bordeaux! A small and informal place but everything was sublime. It’s a must if you have an appreciation for creative French cuisine.
