Epicurean Hotel, Autograph Collection

Wow! Simply put, this hotel is amazing. It is so unique and artsy. There is a wine theme that carries throughout the hotel in little ways in the decor. From wine wallpaper to simple accents in the rooms and hallways, it is all tasteful and fun to browse at. ||The staff is professional and kind. The restaurants offer unique, delicious dishes and even an amazing view on the rooftop bar. The pool is nice with a decent amount of seating. There is no bar near the pool, which means you have to go through the hotel to the regular restaurant bar. ||Location wise, this hotel is in a great area. It is safe and has many restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shopping etc. within walking distance. ||The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom and shower are large and luxurious. The room even offers a clothes steamer!

Fantastic stay! The hotel staff is very friendly and accomadating. Valet was fast and courteous. Fun hotel, nicely decorated. Beds were comfy and room coffee was excellent. Definetely go to Bern's Steakhouse across the street, it will be a remarkable experience! If you cant get a reservation, just show up 15 min before open and ask to be seated in the bar/lounge.

Had the best experience. I checked in here this Sunday and evening and the girls at the front desk were so amazing! I mentioned it was my birthday & they really went above to make it special. I wish I caught their names so I could mention them. Also the most comfortable beds I’ve ever felt in my life. I’ll definitely be back!! :)

Beautiful place/grounds in a convenient location. The room was fantastic. Shower was amazing - longed the two shower heads and the drain system was amazing; I appreciate a shower with the drain far away from my feet. The room was stocked with snacks and drinks. Cutest phone ever and good services for breakfast in bed was amazing. The pool was also really nice. We came late at night and the water was still super warm and pleasant.

My first stay here and won't be my last! Amazing property. Wonderfully appointed, comfortable rooms...even has a clock, pen and paper ...getting to be very rare 😅. Food at the bar and restaurant was amazing. But best of all was the staff. Maria, Alexandra, Michaela and Jacob behind the desk were terrific, Joanna gave me a great tour of the dining options and event spaces and Chef John was super cool and amazing as well. Can't recommend highly enough. Come enjoy.

The customer service was spectacular, which must be noted first and foremost. It is hard to find people who give real care to you in hospitality but you can definitely find those people here. Ingrid at front desk was friendly and genuinely caring. She made my experience at least twice more memorable. Ashton at front desk is awesome too. Professional and genuine. Issac at valet was great and Jacob, the intern from FSU’s partner program was awesome too. The details and subtleties show love for wine in the decor of the hotel. A lot of that is clashed with neon colored new styles of art, which is a shame for me, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Perhaps it is a design that I cannot understand. The pillows, bed and sheets are all very comfortable. The bath is comfortable as well. The location is prime, as it is a street’s crossing away from Bern’s steakhouse. There is good food at the restaurant attached and the wine shop is absolutely underrated.

The Epicurean was the location for our wedding reception and where we stayed for the weekend. From the moment we pulled in, the staff was so welcoming and inviting. They greeted my entire family by name and, after our wedding, made an effort to remember my married name so I got to be called by it. The entire staff was very helpful the entire weekend and eased so many nerves at so many different times. The location of being right by SOHO allowed for easy food and walking, and being right by the riverwalk allowed for wonderful pictures walking distance away. You really cannot go wrong with having your event here.

My husband and I live in Tampa, but we wanted to do a little staycation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a dinner reservation booked at Bern’s, so we just decided to book a night stay at The Epicurean since we could just walk there from dinner. It was truly one of the best experiences! From the moment we arrived and checked in, everyone was so nice to us. I believe Jack was who checked us in and he made everything so easy and greeted us with drinks. They helped us carry our bags to our room and made sure we were happy the entire time. The drinks at the bar, brunch at Elevage, and time at the pool were all better than we even expected!
