A Grocery Store Could Replace Union Street Detroit on Woodward Avenue | Eater Detroit

"An annual parade that normally takes place every March around the equinox and draws thousands from across metro Detroit has been canceled for the second consecutive year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event typically features floats, marching bands, and krewes and is a major local celebration." - Beth McKibben

Brunch was amazing! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and got to hear the story of this place first hand. Such a great new spot with a wonderful concept and delicious food. We had the Trio of Scones, Mushroom and Goat Cheese Salad, Classic Eggs Benedict, Bread Pudding French Toast, & Epiphany Omelete.

This brand new restaurant in Detroit is absolutely amazing. My friend and I had dinner here last night, the food was fantastic as was the service. We got the opportunity to meet the chefs. They were both so down to Earth and kind, giving us great recommendations. We started the night off with some salads, highly recommended the Mushroom & Goat Cheese one, followed by entrées. Dessert was especially scrumptious, I recommend the Citrus Creeme Brûlée and Carrot Cake Parfait. Additionally, the restaurant provided multiple free lots located conveniently across the street. Will definitely be back here for more!

What a great find! This fresh new restaurant was amazing! The atmosphere was inviting and clean. The food was so so so good. The menu had so many great offerings it was hard to choose. I ordered the potato puffs for an app and the pulled pork sandwich for my main. The salad side was the best salad I’ve had in a long time. And finished with a mason jar of carrot cake that featured pineapple. Best meal I’ve had . All the food had the best fresh flavors and paired so well together. The attention to presentation didn’t go unnoticed either. I’ll definitely be going back!

Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service was very good, only to be out done by the delicious walleye entree. My wife had the braised lamb which was out of this world! The IPA onion appetizer dip was delicious as well. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

Warm and welcoming, good acoustics so easy to carry on conversation. Tables spaced nicely apart. Roomy bar and open kitchen concept. Good lighting! Love the conversation areas too!

We went to this restaurant a little nervous that our friend who is super picky wouldn’t find something he liked. I cannot tell you how amazing everything was and our friend ate/loved everything he didn’t think he would (he never likes salmon and thought it was amazing). The pulled pork sandwich was the best I ever had and I’m a “foodie”. And the ambiance is incredible. For sure our new favorite spot. SO GOOD!!

Yelp
Epiphany recently opened in the space formerly occupied by Vigilante and Smith & Co. The ambiance is mostly the same with a few subtle changes, staff is friendly and attentive. The potato puffs were light and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. They are served with three sauces - the horseradish was by far the favorite! I felt like they could have used just a small amount of finishing salt. The ceviche was tender and had a nice heat to it. The flavor profile was reminiscent of coleslaw which was different but not bad. The walleye was very good, especially with the horseradish sauce. I wasn't a huge fan of the puréed parsnips. The lamb was super tender and was served like a pot roast. Delicious. We will definitely be back to try some other things on the menu.

Yelp
A welcome addition to the Cass Corridor area of Midtown. Great food, beautiful restaurant, with awesome ambiance and great service at reasonable prices. Loved the fact that the team is affiliated with a nonprofit organization that trains people in the culinary business and that it's part of the Nain Rouge brewery around the corner which guarantees fresh beer on tap. My wife and I had a great dinner and are already planning our next visit to try the other items in the menu that caught our attention, specially the desserts!

Yelp
Whipped potato puffs are an absolute must! Chicken tenders coated in beer batter from the brewery were delicious, and there were so many. Vegetable crudo salad was light and refreshing, with stunning presentation. We sat outside on the patio and it was a delightful experience!
