Cannot recommend Epiro enough! This is truly a hidden gem in Nice outside the chaos of the overly touristy areas. If you are looking for one of the best homemade pasta meals in Nice this is the spot! Our server was extremely kind and answered all my questions about my allergies and dietary restrictions due to being pregnant. I had the Cacio e Pepe and it was truly as good as ones I have had in Italy! The chef makes all the pasta fresh and the desert was delicious. My husband also enjoyed the natural wines and his bolognese!

It was a really pleasant meal for me. Marco gave a really good service, and the food was quite delicious and fresh. Highly recommended.

Good food, weirdly inattentive service: Had to walk to the front counter to ask for the menus 10-15 minutes after being seated. Only got the wine menu even later to the table. Had to ask directly for the complimentary bread after the starter was brought; noticed the table next to us did not. An unfortunately, and unnecessarily, sour experience. I note that other reviews seem more positive- so perhaps a coin flip on the service level.

Pasta was awesome, as well as espresso. Very nice place with very nice stuff. Highly recommended!

This is a little gem, just behind to port, a small place with simple, well executed dishes. The pasta is very good and the sauce very well balanced. I had the lamb and pea pasta and it was very subtle but tasty. The dessert was very different too. Very reasonable.

Good overall, but a bit hit or miss. Epiro has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. Most of the dishes we tried were excellent — especially the homemade pasta, which was fresh and full of flavor. That said, not everything was perfect. The risotto was a letdown — it had way too much cheese, which overpowered the dish and made it quite heavy. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected a better balance. Overall though, Epiro is still worth a visit, especially for pasta lovers. Just be aware that some dishes may not hit the mark.

A great little place to eat just off the port. The food was fresh and well presented. Everything was tasty The staff were helpful and took time to explain each dish. Highly recommended.
