Every Notable 2018 Montreal Restaurant and Bar Closure | Eater Montreal

"I learned that Little Italy’s long‑running Caffè Epoca on St‑Laurent will close for good after 24 years because owner Paolo Musto wants out of the restaurant world; the family will retain the building and Epoca will host a farewell party before its final services." - Eater Staff

Everything was perfect! We had 3 drinks, a bottle of water, a fruit salad with strawberries, melon, pineapple,a dessert named "Etnao" and a caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. We paid 58€ and every drink we had came with some savory breads. Some were filled with spinach and others were topped with thick tomato sauce and mozzarella. The staff is very friendly:)

Amazing restaurant to have breakfast or lunch. They have a wide selection of food. The tastes are so good. The best granita in town! Food is fresh, the staff is friendly and the ambiance is so relaxt. Worth a visit. After eating you can have a walk around, the surrounding area is beautiful.

This is not really a place for dinner, but more for having aperitifs. The platter was very large, but the quality was so-so. The only good thing was the meat, but there were only two small pieces. The focaccia, pizza, sandwiches, pasta, and couscous were really mediocre. The mozzarella wasn’t anything special, and it was really small. The service was very slow. Overall, it’s not terrible, but I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it.

We visited for breakfast few times, great options as they have pastries that are not only sweet. Decided to come for dinner and were really disappointed. You can only order sharing platters. We ordered a small one, there was barely something eddible in there,so ordered a large one too as we were hungry. There were way more options, but most of the stuff is cold or greasy. Left most of the food untouched. Best part was olives, mozzarella and prosciutto, basically stuff that was not made by this place. Maybe great for sharing between friends with a beer, but not with red wine that we had. There was also misunderstanding with the wine order as the server did not speak English at all.

Their pistachio granita was beyond expectations 👍 We got some take out too for our dinner desserts

While on my vacation in Catania, I went there multiple times for my morning coffee. Great coffee and pastries, but the staff was even better! They were so friendly and kind, they made me feel very welcome. Looking forward to coming back one day!

Caffè Epoca in Catania is a delightful spot for a quick and tasty bite. We enjoyed their "tagliere" platter, featuring a variety of savory treats perfect for sharing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The café offers both indoor seating and a pleasant outdoor terrace, providing options for different preferences. Inside, the display counters showcase an array of tempting pastries and desserts, making it hard to resist taking something home. Whether you're in the mood for a light snack or a sweet treat, Caffè Epoca is worth a visit.

This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a good Sicilian dessert and dining experience. The food is delicious and good quality. I suggest that you arrive earlier or in the afternoon, the restaurant can get busy during lunch and dinner hours. I highly recommend you make a stop here and try out everything that the restaurant has to offer. For me as a tourist, I love it!
