I cannot think of a more perfect location for a winery and a wine tasting experience. The area is so serene, off the beaten path and beyond beautiful. Factor in delicious, and I mean delicious wines, friendly, customer-oriented staff and knowledgeable wine personnel, you will not be disappointed. The facilities are immaculate, the tasting rooms comfortable and inviting and the staff....every single person we came in contact with was happy to be there and passionate about the brand. They are definitely doing something right at Epoch. Can't wait to go back for the fall release.

Google
Epoch was a highlight of our visit to Paso. Taylor was a fantastic host, so welcoming and knowledgeable about the wines and history. The tasting was organized in a way that made it easy to compare wines as we progressed. The thoughtfully restored tasting room was beautiful with comfortable furnishings and relaxed vibe. We will definitely return on our next visit.

My family and I are here on vacation and had an amazing experience at Epoch thanks to Taylor and team. We brought our own picnic lunch and they were super accommodating to our children. Wines are fantastic but the whole location is just beautiful.

Google
Went for a tasting for my bestie’s bachelorette! Jake was so great and informed us on the history of the property which was great trivia. The wines are sooooo delicious, my favorites were the White, Block B and Tempranillo. Would come back again in a heartbeat! 10/10

Google
Such a wonderful tasting! The wines were fantastic and the service was incredible. The wines were already poured for us on arrival, making it easy for us to taste each and revisit certain ones as we pleased. Our server sat with us as she explained their wine making process, which made for a unique and intimate experience. This was our favorite stop of the day!

Google
We have been fortunate to piggyback off of our friends allocations and we could not wait any longer and decided to join. Arguably some of the best wines in all of Paso! The wine maker Jordan has a gift!!! Everything she touches is magic…truly! If you do not believe me, book a tasting. The staff, ambiance, and overall generosity of the tasting experience was a phenomenal experience! Our host for our tasting, “Scott” at 22 young years of age was more knowledgeable passionate and professional than 99% of the staff in the industry. So pleased to now be an official member of the EPOCH family! Thank you and cheers!

Eric Anderson

Google
The tasting experience is great Braden was so helpful and knowledgeable he made us feel so welcome and knew everything about the winery and estate. Highly recommend!!

We are members of Ecluse and were in Paso Robles with 8 members of our Orange County KOV wine club. So our total group was 10. In order to introduce them to Epoch wines we made a reservation for a wine tasting. We were placed in the lovely courtyard with Zoe as our pourer. It appeared Taylor was training her. We had a great tasting experience. No complaints. We had paid ahead of time $50 per person. The members of our party were eager to purchase wine when we were informed that our tasting fee of $100 couple would not be waived because we were considered a large party. What?! Never have seen that before! Was told it was in our email and I have reread and haven’t found it. If we were 8 it would have been waived. We had one pourer so didn’t call on extra personnel. These are serious wine people and it was a great disappointment. I really would have thought the goal would be to sell your wine. And these people were eager to buy! Needless to say we will be ending our membership and the other 40 members of our wine group will be warned.

Yelp
Amazing wines in a gorgeous setting with a great wine guide(?Brady?). This was recommended to me by a friend and they were spot on. It was a lovely sunny and breezy spot on a hot day. The indoors is as beautiful as outdoors. We had our tasting outside. The wines were amazing. Along the lines (taste and price wise) as Law winery. Our guide was well informed and very personable and fun and we had time just to sit outside and enjoy. We also were given some bamboo plates and napkins to enjoy the sandwiches we brought in as our tasting was at lunch time and we didn't know purchasing cheese and charcuterie was an option. Had no intentions of buying when we arrived but left with 6 amazing wines. 4 big reds and 2 delicious whites, their focus is of course the big reds classic to Paso. We will return! Loved meeting the vineyard cat too! What a great day.

Yelp
Absolutely first class. Outstanding. Impressive. VIP. That's how I would describe the whole Epoch experience. (BTW, it's not a star wars character, it's pronounced "Epic") They own 150+ acres. Outstanding property filled with hills, vineyards, horses, incredible trees, and internally-owned properties for ownership and staff. Lovely people and service. Incredible quality wines. Make sure to taste them all. The setting, wonderful. Various options: inside, patio, chairs overlooking the hills and horses, picnic tables. I believe all are worthy. Go already.

Yelp
I've been a member of Epoch for a few years now but never really had the chance to visit--work and youth sports usually keep me busy (if you know, you know). We finally made it up and were able to grab a reservation. They do get busy, but they're flexible with club members, which I appreciated. When we arrived, the grounds were beautiful--calm, peaceful, and really tranquil. I did mess up by not requesting the Library Collection, though! Fun fact: they pre-pour your tasting and even have a personalized card with your name on it waiting for you. That said, when I asked to switch the tasting to something else, the associate didn't even hesitate. I felt bad because everything was already set up, but they made it so easy. The experience at Epoch was awesome. The associate helping us was incredibly knowledgeable and had a deep background in winemaking, which made everything even more enjoyable. I also loved their pouring style. It's relaxed--they tell you about the wine, then let you roam the property, take pictures, enjoy your glass, and come back when you're ready for the next pour. Super chill and well done.

Yelp
Epoch is EPIC! The location is not very close to other Paso wineries but the drive is so worth it! You also have to pay for your tastings ahead of time but again, SO worth it. We were in awe of the grounds immediately. The view of their vineyards is gorgeous! Great photo opps outside of the estate house. We were a large group of 8 and we all felt taken care of. Our tastings were pre-poured and not a glass or menu was out of place. Plus, they printed my name on the menu!! So cute!! It's the little things. Our sommelier Brenden was friendly and engaging. Our group shared two charcuterie plates. They are a little small for the price but tasty nonetheless. Their wines are delicious. We especially enjoyed their rose and the veracity. They waive some tastings with purchase of a few bottles. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
We are in love with this place! I was a bit skeptical booking because it's prepaid... that means no room for error, especially with a group of 6. But if you're seriously looking for good wines, good service, and good views, this is the place! We came right at opening with prepaid reservations. The grounds are beautiful! Looks super relaxing and picturesque. We tasted indoors, the facility was beautiful. They had the wines out and our server came and spoke about each one. We went at our own pace, he came around to check in and answer any questions. He even let us taste 2017 authenticity. I saw the zin (not on tasting menu) and he let us try it. It was super delicious too, so we got 2 bottles of it, along with the estate blend and the authenticity. We are considering becoming wine club members here just for the relaxing atmosphere. Definitely not bougie like DAOU. The people here are real and it's family own and they don't act like snobs! Super down to earth. Next time we're coming back as our last winery so we can taste and just relax on the chairs overlooking the landscape.

Yelp
Jake was amazing. He was thorough with explaining each tasting while being personable and genuine. He made this wine tasting experience so great, we will be back! 10/10 service!!! He surprised us with the Tempranillo which was beyond favorable on the palate and full body.
google avatar

Roya J.

Yelp
Definitely a memorable experience. As our party of 6 was waking up we were greeted by Scott with Rosés. He then escorted us to our own table with four glasses and an explanation of the wines. He explained about the winery, the wines and the history of the gorgeous tasting room. He was very good with how interacted with us, gave us time to ourselves, and offered tastings of wines available at the time. Beautiful outdoor area where you can have a picnic. They are a small producer of 7-8 thousand cases a year and grow all own grapes.
google avatar

Jeanette G.

Yelp
The best wines in the area! Service was over-the-top! Been coming to Paso for over 20 years.... Not sure how I've missed this gem all these years.

Yelp
Date of Visit: 6/15/2024 We visited the Epoch Estate Wines during our visit to Central Coast in mid June, during Father's Day weekend. The tasting room of the Epoch Estate Wines was built by the remains of the historical York Mountain Winery, and was opened in December 2017. We were welcomed by the host after we parked, and handed in the chilled 2023 Rosé and were walked into the tasting room. 2023 Rosé The Rosé was made by 63% Mourvèdre, 26% Grenache, and 11% Syrah, with a refreshing smell of fruits and violet, very nice to drink in the summer. 2020 Sensibility This one is the first red we had on the day. This one is 79% Grenache, and 21% Syrah. On the nose it begins with raspberry, orange, strawberry, and tastes like milk chocolate. 2020 Estate Blend I love the smell of this one, and it was made with 46% Syrah, 24% Grenache, 11% Mourvèdre, 11% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano, 2% Zinfandel, and 1% Carignan. It is clear to get the taste of black cherry, vanilla, violets on the palette. 2020 Ingenuity The third red wine is all about blue fruits. Mixed with 51% Petite Sirah, 25% Grenache, 22% Mourvèdre, and 2% Syrah, the 2020 Ingenuity is a good wine to drink in summer. 2020 Authenticity The last one on the tasting list is 2020 Authenticity, which is 100% Syrah. Still too young as Syrah wine, can taste the tobacco and graphite smell. 2015 Authenticity We also tried the 2015 Authenticity for vertical tasting. This one is more mature, but the structure was still obvious. Made with 81% Syrah and 19% Mourvèdre.

Yelp
The location is a little remote but worth it. The building Ali's a restored barn with amazing architecture. The service was laid back but professional. I enjoyed our wine sommelier. He was knowledgeable of the area, soils and of course the wine. Highly recommend for your wine tasting!

Yelp
Great wine and a beautiful winery. Came here and had a great tasting a few months ago. We were 4 adults and 3 kids, and they gave us a great setup near the entrance. Wine is served already in the glass so you are able to compare and contrast the different wines. I like that approach. Our host was excellent and very knowledgeable. His name was Toby and although a young guy, he knew a lot about the wines. I joined their wine club and look forward to returning. Although the winery is upscale, they are very welcoming to kids and we had no issues. With that being said, the kids are use to wineries, so they are pretty well behaved, so it wasn't an issue. Glad to be members at epoch, and looking forward to them continuing to produce excellent wines! Also hope to make up there for one of the release tastings in the future!

Yelp
Taylor was absolutely amazing at Epoch. She greeted us as we entered with glasses of a delicious Rose. She then walked us through the pre poured tastings that were beautifully arranged at the classy and elegant wooden bar. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. The winery itself is gorgeous. Think classic log cabin meets modern architecture. Breathtaking views as well. Loved all the wines too, will be back.

Yelp
Sherman was amazing. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the wine maker and the culture of the winery. I highly recommend this winery and suggest that you ask for Sherman!!!

Yelp
Epoch Estate Wines I literally am having a hard time figuring out what to write about Epoch. We had issues that moved Epoch to comp our tastings $40 each!!!!! Kudos to them! The person we dealt with before we arrived, Elizabeth, was great: prompt, accommodating, funny The location is beautiful!! We get there and our server is wonderful. Another person, apparently "above" our server, is picking up our empty glasses and leaves two of them saying, "you need these for something we MIGHT serve you after the advertised flight." Sweet!! When we are done with our "flight" we ask where that "extra" tasting is and are told, "sorry ... we said we 'might' have something extra but we don't" So ... there are two wines that we might be interested in buying so we ask to "revisit" those two wines and are told "sorry, everything has been buttoned up so no revisits are available" We leave 10 minutes before their advertised closing time of 4:00pm I have visited over 100 different wineries over the past ten years and Epoch is the first to tell me I couldn't revisit a wine ‍ Although the location is wonderful and the frontline servers are awesome, the lack of customer-focused tasting room management, average wines, the insanely high tasting price of $40/person, and the distance to travel to their tasting room makes us sad that we must rate them two stars out of five.

Yelp
My friends and I went to Epoch last month for a leisurely Saturday wine tasting. We had a fantastic time there, drinking and relaxing and enjoying the property, and took home several bottles of delicious wine. I don't know how hard it is to make a reservation, but we booked our 12:15 tasting more than a month in advance--probably a good move for a party of six. The winery was a bit of a hike from our AirBnB closer to downtown Paso Robles, but it was worth the Ubers for the wine trail views. Epoch was recommended to us for the wine and the atmosphere, and the winery definitely delivered on both. The grounds were beautiful, and we liked walking around before, during, and after our tasting, taking in the landscape: trees and sky and grass and horses. It was a little cold to do the actual tasting outside, so we spent most of our time in the tasting room, which was spacious and attractive with lots of windows. We were there before Christmas, and there was a Christmas tree made out of wine bottles. Service was great. We booked the signature tasting, which was $40 a person, with a tasting fee waived with each $100 purchase. We were greeted outside with our first wine, the 2022 White. Then we sat down at a huge table for a pre-poured flight of four reds: the 2019 Veracity, the 2019 Estate Blend, the 2019 Ingenuity, and the 2019 Block B. The woman hosting us was friendly and helpful, giving us useful guidance and tasting notes but mostly leaving us to drink, which was fine by us. The pre-poured format made this tasting less ceremonious than others I've done, but it was casual and fun and kind of interesting to taste everything side by side. My one complaint is that there were all these tiny flies that kept going for our glasses. We were given little covers for our glasses to protect our wine, but the bugs were pretty gross and pesky. The wines were really good, all of them blends except the Block B, which was 100% syrah. We got to try an older vintage of the Block B at the end of our tasting, and that was tremendous. We had no problem spending $600 on bottles and getting our tasting fees waived. I took home a bottle each of the 2019 Estate Blend and the 2019 Block B, which I will age at home as long as I can wait. I'd highly recommend Epoch if you want to taste some wines, particularly if you're with a larger group. I had a fantastic time and hope to go back on another visit to Paso Robles.

Yelp
This place was just so wonderful for the proposal I captured. The staff was amazing! The ambiance is so warm and cozy, and just the overall experience was so wonderful! As a photographer we are not always welcome in these establishments , this one is by far so awesome and helpful and just cool !!!

Yelp
The name says it all. One of the oldest estates on the central coast with some of the most amazingly tasting wine I have ever had which includes Caymus which is damn good wine. Make sure you make a reservation before hand. Very welcoming staff beautiful historical setting and build worth the trip just for that. If you have a special event you will not go wrong with this setting.
google avatar

Tom B.

Yelp
Quite nice wines. Liked the staff and it was pleasant sitting outside with dogs-a pretty place. I'd give 3.5 to 4 out of 5.

Yelp
After a friend recommended Epoch amongst the many wineries they make up the Paso region, I decided to give it a try. Nestled up off the beaten path, you really have to drive a bit into seclusion to get there. But once you do, you'll find the most beautiful tasting room (even recognized by Architectural Digest). There is a gate to enter where your reservation is confirmed and then you'll be greeted with a welcome glass from a friendly face. We absolutely loved our tasting here. It was so peaceful and the atmosphere was just so grand yet cozy. We took a walk to the top of the steps where we were greeted by one of the property's cats and got to see a grape press. You can tell that the building is infused with historic relics and we were intrigued to learn the history of the place. The wines were really good and I loved that the winemaker created this interesting visuals to depict how the wine tastes and flows through your palate. Taylor Lautner (aka team Jacob) was recently married here so the winery is gracing Vogue. I Can totally see why. This place was beautiful, paired with great wine and friendly staff.

Yelp
Flat out INCREDIBLE. We found Epoch and loved the images and videos we saw and made sure to put it on our lists when Visiting paso. My Wife and I love wine tasting in Paso Robles's wine country. We both are so excited that we came across Epoch. We stopped in for my moms birthday on 01.11.2023 and I am very happy that we did choose Epoch as the weather wasn't the greatest we had Epoch all to ourselves for the most part. Our server, Vince, was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable with the wines, the history of the property as well as a ton of other fun fact questions we had for him. Epoch has to be one of The Nicest estates that we have ever been to. The vibe was great. The concept is very open but it is also intimate at the same time. I really do encourage everyone who is planning a wine trip in Paso Robles to visit Epoch. I know that we will be back soon!
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
Scott was fantastic. We showed up on a Monday, late afternoon for our "mini moon", not knowing we needed reservations and he accommodated us. They have delicious wine, great choice in music, and a friendly staff. Wish we had more time to spend there and can't wait to come back. Thanks EPOCH and SCOTT - be back soon :)

Breanna D.

Yelp
Amazing service by Avery. The estate is landscaped beautifully. The view is so gorgeous and the tasting room is epic. And Avery was super informative. Definitely a must stop in the area. We did the tasting and took away two bottles. Thank you Avery!
google avatar

Scott W.

Yelp
I really can't say enough about this place. The ambiance, wine and staff are all really top notch. It's a really nicely done tasting room with some history of the original building and a modern update. I had to join the wine club so that I can restock their wines as needed. Every time I'm in town this has become a staple to visit.
google avatar

Karlie S.

Yelp
Beautiful architecture but their wines didn't work for us - we preferred more full-bodied reds. Would still recommend a visit if you've never been. We initially thought it was a formal place but servers and staff are very friendly and made us feel at home. Reservations are needed so make sure you call beforehand.

Alli C.

Yelp
Wines are good and grounds are beautiful, unfortunately the service was not. We were greeted and seated and left for about 40 minutes with no follow up, information, etc. When he came back we let him know we expected a bit more but that didn't improve the service. Note, they were not busy at all. With so many other fantastic options in the area I would give this one a miss.
google avatar

Masis Y.

Yelp
A true five star place . Only negative about this place is the entrance which is York rd off of 46 highway if you are traveling from west to east you might miss it and end going for a U turn. Drive safely The awarded place for its architecture and wine. Atmosphere is amazing, I like their 2014 Epoch blend I have few of the at home . It's a Napa valley or south of France level quality and more but for less cost. Kids and pet friendly (they have cats if your dog is ok with it) You can bring your own food or cheese plate and just buy a bottle of wine and enjoy the vineyards like it's your backyard. Staff are great they help you through purchase I had the chance to interact with Lisa , Christine, Chelsea. They all were amazing in costumer Servies . Accommodate large parties or just a couple. Hidden gem.
google avatar

Erika M.

Yelp
Epoch had to have been one of the prettiest wineries around. The location and ambiance were breathtaking. Loved all the historic preservation details in the design of the tasting room and grounds. The staff was gracious and knowledgeable and the wine was superb.
google avatar

Yelp
Paso Robles is such a beautiful place to visit. If you can stay in Cambria and head out to the wineries early in the morning you climb a picturesque highway 46. Looking back you see the coastline. To the south, Morro Rock. As you leave the sea behind, the rolling hills capture your heart and your imagination. This is a winery you need a reservation for. We have gained entrance without a reservation but the experience is best with a reservation. Our last visit to Epoch Winery was yesterday. We have been there four times. Each time has been so pleasant. It truly is magical to be there. First class experience all the way! Sherman greeted us with a free tasting to welcome us in. From there we met Lisa who would spend the next hour or two taking us through their York Mountain tasting. Lisa was a joy to be with. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. The wines are exquisite, as is the ambiance. The wines are created masterfully by Jordan Fiorentini. She is a talent to be reckoned with. When Bello restaurant in Newport Beach had a winemakers dinner, we made sure we attended and we got to meet this incredible winemaker, Jordan Fiorentini, in person. She is approachable and kind. It was a magical evening. Our favorite wines there are Veracity and Sensibility. I love the rich history of the property and what they have done to showcase the beautiful, rich history of building with the brick and metal, wood and glass. This place is magical and the wines are beautiful! A first class wine tasting will be found here. A big shout out to Lisa for her knowledge and her grace. She made us feel like family and we appreciated her for that. There is now doubt we will be back, every year!

Yelp
Great wine, Great views, Great food....felt like home. Thanks Lacy for a great experience

Yelp
First wine stop on our PCH road trip was Epoch Estate Wines. The tasting room is on the York Mountain Winery property, home to the oldest zinfandel vines in the region. Owners Liz and Bill Armstrong began their California wine journey by purchasing Paderewski Vineyard in 2004, and later expanded by purchasing Catapult and York Mountain. In 2010 the Armstrongs purchased and restored the historic York Mountain Winery building after it was condemned due the 2003 Saint Simeon earthquake. Epoch Estate Wines uses sustainable strategies in their winemaking and a photovoltaic system that provides 95% of their energy. Another huge part of Epoch Estate Wines is preserving the legacy of both Paderewski Vineyard and York Mountain through their wines. Recommend all to schedule a visit at this architectural masterpiece for a delicious tasting while learning all about the history of Paso Robles wine country!

Yelp
Had such a great experience here at Epoch Winery! Service was really great and friendly, and we enjoyed our time here! 5 tastings for $30. Well worth it. We sat outside on the patio. It was a beautiful Paso weekend with plenty of sun and breeze. The rosè was nice, light and easy to drink. My favorite was the 2017 Block B, 100% Syrah. So complex, not too heavy, overall enjoyable. I highly recommend you stop by at Epoch Estate Wines when in Paso Robles! Shout out to Anna and (guy in green and leopard animal button up, sorry didn't get your name!!) my excellent servers!
google avatar

Ann D.

Yelp
When you go to this winery it is breathtaking. It is on top of a hill off the 46. Once you get off the freeway you will be driving a bit up the hill and then down the hill. You will need a reservation. The wines are ok. They are a tad overpriced for what they are. You are paying more for the place you are at. The manager of the tasting room was very nice and they did know about the tasting notes. You have to be part of their wine club to buy wine here. I passed but the view was great and the wine is good enough it just made me a tad sick
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
The thing is, Christine from Epoch not only curated a wonderful tasting experience for our family, BUT, her suggestions influenced the rest of our weekend stay in Paso Robles! First, your senses are dazzled on the drive to winery. Set back in the hills, scenery around the winery is some of the most beautiful in the area. The Epoch Experience is different in that they pour all of the wines at once, and then suggest you go back through at least three times to see how the wines open and develop in the glass. Very interesting and fun! A member of our party is self professed hater of wine, BUT Christine did convince this person to try at least one sip. A feat that mine eyes have never seen! She also provided great referrals for other places to try. Wonderful wines, a comfortable and inviting space, and super friendly staff...GO visit Epoch Estate Wines on your next visit to Paso Robles!

Steve P.

Yelp
We came here on a Friday morning with a group of 8 and had an awesome time. The service was fantastic and they went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The wines were also great - easily the best of the 4 wineries we visited on our trip. Highly recommended!!
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
Lovely people very passionate We stopped on our way out. Was the best we stopped at for the weekend.
google avatar

Yelp
Christine and Annie made our experience amazing. Thank you! Beautiful tasting room. Delicious wines.

Yelp
Epoch was one of my favorite wineries in Paso Robles. It is such a warm and calming experience. The surrounding area of trees and the building are beautiful and restful. The wines are really delicious. We liked that they served the wines all at once so we could compare and contrast the different wines. Sherman was our host, and he was one of the best that we experienced. He had a great knowledge of the wines and told us the interesting story about building the current building. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon, so it was not busy. We are definitely looking forward to a return visit.
google avatar

Matt W.

Yelp
Beer guy leaving a wine review. I apologize in advance. I loved this wine tasting. I have been on many and really never cared much. This was different. It had to be the lovely person walking us thru the tasting. She was so knowledgeable about everything I felt like an uneducated bafoon on every level. Christine Ovasapyan was like magic. I was interested and in awe of her knowledge. It was the best. All of us had such an amazing time. I forgot to let you know the wine was amazing and for the first time I could taste the difference in the wine and I loved the Rose. It was a great time.
google avatar

Sunil D.

Yelp
Great patio and interior design. Wasn't crowded, so we had a great, peaceful afternoon with a chilled bottle of their rosé. Service was excellent and welcoming.
google avatar

Brit A.

Yelp
They have the best wine here! Although it is a little pricy, its sooo worth it! The wine tastes so good! They have a lot of outdoor seating for wine tasting. It would be nice if they had a small food menu (also pairings with the wines). The staff are super friendly. The inside is pretty dark so we prefer to sit outside. The bathrooms are super big and nice! They have outdoor couches and heaters which were super nice. The road to the winery is super fun and beautiful!
google avatar

Hailey P.

Yelp
We absolutely fell in love with this incredible boutique winery. Their wines were our favorite out of all of the places that we visited in Paso. It is by appointment only, but totally worth the call, I promise! First, the ambiance is so dang cool. Think exposed rock, iron beams, dim lighting, and super chic vibes (see pics). They offer an intimate tasting experience that is out of this world. Many of their wines are blends and absolute perfection. We cannot wait to come back!
google avatar

Paloma J.

Yelp
Arrogant service. They don't even serve you outside you have to go up to the bar. They don't give you an ice bucket when you buy a bottle or at least not us. The "server" asked us if we wanted her to pour it or to pour it ourselves which is a stupid question for such a bougie Wine estate owned by an oil billionaire. The rosé itself came in a beautiful bottle priced at $40, available as a magnum for $90. Overall the estate, outside and inside is really beautiful and they did let us in at the gate with no reservation. But for the wine tasting itself, it was probably our worst stop out of 7 wineries we explored.

Yelp
We found out about this winery from the Paderewski statue in the city park. My husband is Polish so we dug a little deeper and found this winery is on Paderewski Vineyard. We were on our way to Cambria and didn't have reservations, but they were so nice and offered tastings by the glass. The grounds and views are so peaceful and lovely! I had a white and my husband had a blend; both delicious. We can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Got recommended to come here for the big bold red wines. Unfortunately they were serving their summer reds which were a little lighter. Steph greated us with a welcome rose. She was super friendly and was very knowledgeable about the wine and the history. Definitely would ask her to pour for us again. Rose was amazing. There white they poured was very good as well. Ended up buying a Zin and the Veracity red along with the Rose. Steph was very kind to allow us to try a syrah and temperanillo and they were solid as well. Definitely recommend checking this place out. The history of the building the decor is also amazing here. I would definitely go back again for some winter reds.

Yelp
Awesome service by Chase today. Library tasting 2013 was wonderful. Walk to visit with Percheron horses fed the soul!

Yelp
Myself and 3 of my friends came here a couple of weeks ago while on a weekend trip in Paso Robles. We all live in the Bay Area, so we have been to lots of wineries in the Napa/Sonoma area. That being said, we LOVED this winery. The interior is very elegant and rustic, and the outside is gorgeous. We really enjoyed the information provided by the host. My favorite wine was their 100% Grenache, and I bought a bottle to take home and drink. We ubered there, and there was enough cell service at the winery to grab an Uber back (just make sure you allow 20-30 minutes for the uber to arrive). Definitely would recommend this winery if you're in Paso Robles!

Yelp
Great selection of wines - their red blends were particularly nice and smooth. I would have definitely bought some if it weren't for the fact that I don't drink much wine and can never finish a bottle! Came here as it was highly recommended by a friend. By appointment only so you get a nice intimate experience. They don't serve food but you can bring your own and eat at the outdoor picnic tables. Very helpful staff who even gave us recommendations for our stopover in SLO.

Yelp
York Mountain provides the perfect backdrop for Epoch Estate Wines and their beautiful state of the art tasting room. Our appointment was for 11:00 AM and there to greet us at the top of the stairs was Christine Ovasapyan, our wine educator. We entered the tasting room and was blown away by the craftsmanship and use of materials in constructing the building. Such beauty and not at the expense of the natural surroundings as the facility fits into the landscape of the mountain. Shown to our table we were greeted with 5 pours of wines each in their own glass. The wines are elegant and crafted by the hands of Jordan Florretini, a gifted and well educated master in the art of winemaking. As we sipped each wine we were educated and entertained by our host Christine. She was attentive and caring and not once attempted to pressure us into wine sales or wine clubs. Her goal was to simply provide a world class experience for me and my wife. The truth is the wine sells itself. I was on a quest to procure outstanding Syrah and purchased a couple bottles of the Block B Syrah (which I did not taste), the Estate Blend and for our Saturday's spent outdoors, their very tasty Rose. We have enjoyed many visits to Paso Robles over the years and would have to say our visit to Epoch Estate Wines ranks in the top 3 of all places visited. This is an easy 5 stars and would love to award a 6th star for the time Christine spent with us to make our visit truly pleasant.
