"Spread across two stylish, colourful rooms conceived by a Polish theatre designer – one bright blue, one in warmer hues – this restaurant inside the Raffles Europejski hotel takes its inspiration from the Polish cookbooks of yesteryear. Classic recipes like crayfish soup are listed on the menu next to their dates of origin, but given a modern spin in their execution. Local produce plays a big role too, with the ingredients presented to diners at the start of the meal." - Michelin Inspector

This place will help you to understand the difference between eating and dining. The food is fantastic, from the back stories and presentation to the flavours and taste. You can see the owners, chef, and the whole crew take a lot of pride in what they do. If you have a chance to visit you should.

If you want a culinary adventure this is the place to go. Inventive, exciting, bursting with fresh flavors Polish cuisine - this is a dinner and a show- a must stop on your Warsaw trip. There are many choices, however - this is the only unforgettable stop you will be dreaming of on your way home- highest praise for the entire staff. This is best gem of a restaurant and cultural commitment- loved it every bite.

Excellent experience! The food itself was wonderful - 22 recipes demonstrating the history of Polish cuisine. Service was fantastic - I appreciated the variety, from different waiters, through kitchen staff, to the founder / chef. General ambiance and atmosphere was also nice and added to the overall narrative. All in all, feels like they're well on their way towards a star.

A delightful, nicely decorated fine dining restaurant. It is pricey, but generally worth it. On its way to a full star, it serves old Polish recipes with quite a lot of modern twists. The tastes are surprising and amazing. My only two gripes are: too concentrated soups (one would be enough, but two makes it repetitive and a bit tortuous to the buds), and serving French water (which is absurd, as there are plenty of really good bottled waters in Poland, and also since it is a carbon footprint seppuku).

First things first, this place is expensive. For somewhere that features in the Michelin Guide but as of yet doesn’t have any stars, it’s very pricey. Also relative to everywhere else in the city, it’s expensive. The food however is wonderful, it gives you a look into Polish cooking through the years and in my case the dishes were adapted to be vegetarian. There is a focus on local ingredients and this is highlighted by the spoon of honey that is produced within the city of Warsaw. After 22 courses, you are left feeling stuffed. I must also highlight the cucumber sours cocktail that was amazing and unlike anything I have had before. Now onto the negatives. The first was that when seated I was asked what I wanted to drink but my friend who I was with was just ignored and only 10/15 minutes later when they came to explain the menu did someone ask what he wanted other than drink. The second was that many diners were invited into the kitchen to see the recipe books. I have also seen other reviews here saying they were invited in. For some reason, we were not. I think it is small touches like this that are restricting the place from getting it’s well deserved stars.

We really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating the team at Epoka was to us. They were very understanding of our scheduling complications and made sure that we were still able to enjoy our whole tasting experience. The food was incredible! The ingredients were really top notch, and I appreciate how the delicacies we've tried were mainly sourced from Poland. The idea of the restaurant is exciting and chef Marcin is such a creative visionary, discovering and bringing back historic high Polish cuisine onto to the table. The array of flavors, textures, colors in every dish was a work of a true artist and his highly skilled team. The sommelier also does a wonderful job with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic pairings - we have tried both and were very impressed with how well the flavors worked with the dishes. EPOKA was a highlight of our Warsaw trip and I truly recommend it for those who appreciate an evening surrounded by beauty and abundance of deliciousness ☺️

Amazing experience. Me and my partner both love history and Epoka delivered not only a delicious culinary experience - but also a person feel thanks to the staff being very professional, yet genuine and passionate. The multiple intriguing learnings about the venue, food, restaurant and Polish cuisine gave this restaurant this little extra, making it stand out to other delicious and impeccable fine-dining venues.

Fantastic food and service. The menu was a travel back in time to try some vintage Polish cuisine, and wow, the flavors, the beauty of the dishes. Stunning! This restaurant is a must visit if you are in Warsaw. During the dining experience you will also get a tour of the restaurant, which is in an old historic building.
