The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. This is now my go-to spot for shawarma—I’ll definitely be coming back soon! Highly recommend trying their wraps or platter.

The Era Grill (Halal Food, DTLA) – Review: The Era Grill in Downtown LA offers a solid menu of halal Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. Known for its flavorful kebabs, shawarma, and grilled meats, the food is fresh and well-seasoned. Portions are generous, making it great value for money. The casual, no-frills setting suits quick lunches or laid-back dinners. Service is friendly and efficient, though the place can get busy during peak hours. Perfect for halal food lovers seeking tasty, affordable options in DTLA.

Delicious and fresh food! The flavors are amazing! Tried the chicken shawarma - they were still grilling it so I needed to wait but it was worth it! So good! My husband had the roasted lamb - it’s a must try! Don’t forget to ask for the white sauce - it’s delicious! Great customer service, friendly and accommodating! We visited on a Friday night around 11 pm and this place was packed and busy! The portions are huge and the quality of the meat and ingredients are excellent! Very reasonably priced! It’s a must try!

It was my first time having Georgian food and I’m hooked. I ordered a manti and shawarma for lunch and came back to order the pilaf for dinner. Parking can be tough but it’s not impossible to find something.

I’ve gotten food poisoning multiple times from this place. The meat always tastes off — like it’s been sitting out too long or is simply spoiled. Every time I’ve eaten at Era Grill, I ended up with severe stomach pain within hours. This isn’t just a one-time thing — it’s happened more than once, and only after eating their food. Something’s clearly wrong with their hygiene or meat quality. Never again. Be careful.

Absolutely loved this spot! Era Grill is a hidden gem on wheels. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I had the beef shawarma , and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick, even during a busy lunch rush. Great prices, generous portions, and an awesome vibe. Definitely coming back!

I visited this place and ordered a plov. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, but I ended up waiting over 20 minutes. The service is extremely poor, and communication with staff is very bad. Additionally, the bread that was supposed to come with the plov combo was not provided—I had to ask for it myself. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not worth the wait.
