A College Student’s Guide to Campus Dining at the University of Oregon | Eater Portland

"Located in the heart of campus, the EMU's second level food court mostly features chains like Panda Express, Starbucks, and Chipotle, but also draws students to Bartolotti’s on the ground level and the Oregon-rooted Little Big Burger; thanks to its central location it's a reliable place to hang out, grab a quick lunch, or study." - Meaghan FitzPatrick

It's a modern and functional building with many labs, relaxing, working, studying spaces for students. I love the playing spaces where students can enjoy some fun times together. Thanks for the innovative building

Great new addition to this great old student Union. They kept lots of the great old features like the fish bowl, but opened up the back with lots of great natural light and plenty of space to study and relax. Amazing details in new architecture.

If you need food, clothes, to borrow a laptop, or anything in between this place has it. Need to print? They got you. Need sushi? Absolutely. Passport photo? No problem. They have it all and always with a smile.

Beautiful campus. Made me want to study again if this was my school. There is a lounge where students can just listen to someone play the piano, a cafeteria with choice of healthy food, an atrium for natural lighting, strategically located microwave ovens to heat your food almost anywhere and PWD-friendly.

Yelp
What a great study spot in the heart of campus. Grab a coffee or a snack and find yourself a spot that fits you. Want to socialize and run into your friends? Try hanging out in the fish bowl near the Starbucks, chipotle, and Panda Express. Want a quieter place to work? I like the cozy couches in the multicultural center or the window seats in the gallery on the third floor. The emu is also a great place to figure out what's going on on campus and in the community. There are lots of clubs, jobs, and housing fairs that go on so keep and eye out for flyers and tables for all of the details. It's also easy to pick up a copy of ethos or the daily emerald to get those community news updates! The emu is also the spot for all of your ID card, atm, printing, crafting, and computer lab needs. And that's just to mention a few! I like the ceramics studio in the craft center. It's free for students and you can buy all of the clay you need right there! Just make sure to sign up for a quick 30 minute - 1 hour orientation. (Pro tip: there's free printing in the womens center!) You can also find the gender neutral bathrooms on the bottom floor near the east side of the building.
