"This attractive restaurant with a simple, minimalist decor stands almost opposite the thousand-year-old church of San Frediano. The inviting menu here focuses on regional dishes with a successful combination of traditional and modern styles, including a section dedicated to barbecue options. Meat takes pride of place, although offal, cheese and a few vegetarian options also feature." - Michelin Inspector

Wooow! Absolutely blown away! Stefania the sommelier is really knowledgeable and had some excellent wine recommendations for us. All the staff were excellent and the food was just amazing! We celebrated a birthday and we will definitely be back, thank you Erbaluigia team!

Very disappointing for a Michelin recommended restaurant. When entering the restaurant, there was a strong incense smell and when getting sat in the back garden, there was incense everywhere to keep the mosquitos away but the smell diminished our dinning experience. We took the 6 courses tasting menu and the experience was mid. The food was average, very big portions in the beginning and smaller portions in the end. Very long wait before getting the first course, the appetizer came after 40 minutes of being seated, no amuse bouche were offered. The service was professional and friendly but was lacking in some way. We were not introduced into the menu and the waitress just asked if we were ready to order. We had to ask the waitress to speak about the menu and specials of the day. They changed the utensils at each service which was pleasant. No water service, we had to ask for water everytime our glasses/bottles of water were empty. Also we had to ask every time for more wine and made our meal cold while waiting for the wine. Bread came without olive oil, we had to ask for it. Most of the food was ok, the beef tartar was way over seasoned. Everything else was well seasoned. The wine pairing was the most deceiving. Half pours and we're charged when asking for more wine (noticed at the end when getting the bill) when most of the service took too long that we had to ask for second pours to enjoy it with the actual dish it's supposed to be paired with. The dishes had a great presentation and my husband and I loved the micro greens/flowers on top on the dishes. It seems like the restaurant is smoke friendly, if you want to smoke and spread second hand smoke to children, you're welcome to in the second section of the garden. They gladly moved us inside after we complained about it. I think Erbaluigia still has a lot of work to do in terms of quality of service and policies they choose to enforce in order to provide excellent quality to get to the next level. This restaurant makes you realize how great the dining experience we usually get and turns out we usually take them for granted when compared to a restaurant like Erbaluigia. The service from our sommelier was great. We had high expectations for this restaurant but we feel cheated and will not recommend this restaurant to our friends, unfortunately... Our bill was discounted by 7€, but I feel that they didn't really apologize and didn't own their mistakes. Their loss.

Avoid the tasting menu! The chef's experiments too much leading dishes that are unbalanced and boring. Many dishes having preserved fruit and vegetables, which tasted like a vinigar wash with a wet texture. These were there for starters and both meat dishes. The tomato ravioli was totally unbalanced, tasting of herb oil with vanilla? The crispy ravioli didn't taste of much. Finally the desserts, the meringue was delicious, but a small inedible piece of of rubber took away the joy. As others have also noted, the portions are too small, especially the lamb dish which could have been eaten as one bite. There is a significant amount of wait time between each dish so if you eat fast, that can be annoying. The dinner was set in their lovely back garden, with ample space and lovely views of various plants and flowers.

Went on a date night here with my wife while on honeymoon. Like total Americans, we arrived right at opening (sorry!) for our 35 (Euro) Under 35 booking, which is a cool promotion they have (hopefully still) going for a 3/4 course tasting menu. The gazpacho was super flavorful and the wine that our server suggested was a great pairing to the meal. Service was attentive and took pictures of us with our phones. A very warm and welcoming place!

What a great meal! We went a la carte for this one and loved everything. Had plump Mediterranean oysters, gazpacho verde, and pigeon 4-ways (must have). Service staff was wonderful.

The food was amazing. The service was good - super good at matching wine with a la carte food on the go. I loved the combo of classic Italian sparkling wine with fish meatballs and the bio Chardonnay was superb with the local apraxia flatbread and musseltatar. One missing star for ambiance as the restaurant was empty after starters when having the slot 14-1530 on a Sunday and as I was asked to change my booking from 2 to 1 on arrival (which is not possible through “the Fork” webpage). However the smiley service outweighed this :) Must try and I would recommend.

Fantastic degustation dinner at this modern Italian restaurant - local ingredients, attentive wine matching, amazing solid flavours and an amazing price. Worth a stop by if you're visiting Pisa like I was. Complimenti!

Everything was perfect, delicious food and great wine pairings. Confident and efficient service in English, with many seasonal offerings as we visited on the cusp of Autumn. Chef even delivered some seasonal sides personally. The tasting menu offered a variety of flavours and new experiences for us with a more than reasonable price tag. We would not hesitate to visit again and would recommend to anybody. Fantastic, amazing, a must visit when in Pisa. Thankyou to Chef Tati and both the front and back of house team.
