"Enjoy a taco or a shrimp cocktail at the Ventura Pier thanks to Beach Fish House & Tacos’s walk-up window and bar/fish marketplace hybrid space. After placing a food order, patrons can head upstairs to the Made West brewery space to sample their fine selection of craft brews. With stellar views on the water and the neighboring Channel Islands, this is an excellent space to relish in the delights of Ventura." - Gab Chabran

Relaxed restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean & pier but overpriced, average-tasting food. The Scampi was just extremely buttery pasta containing scallops that lacked flavor and shrimp. Felt like a very fattening meal not worth all the calories. The fish & chips were.. just fish & chips ($10.80 for small bite fish & chips). Couldn’t really taste the difference in the jalapeño batter they offer which is unfortunate, because the concept sounds amazing. The Cod Fish n Chips ($20.70) wasn’t much better, as the Cod tasted ultra fishy and lacked taste. It’s hard to put into words, but all the food just felt like empty calories that weren’t worth the price. Besides all that, everything else was great. They offer 10% military discount, the restaurant and view are beautiful, restrooms were clean, plenty of parking (after you pay $10), and staff were super friendly and helpful. I’d go again for the vibes and beer upstairs, but would save $ & go somewhere else to eat forsure.

Google
I gotta be real the food here was decent but not spectacular by any stretch. The steamed clams in the lemongrass coconut broth just looked like Shrek slime and only really tasted of garlic with a hint of bitterness. It really wasn't pleasant for steamers to be presented this way. Green with shellfish isn't appealing or appetizing. The fish and chips were pretty good but needed salt. The jalapeno batter is a great idea and works well but the entire bite was pure oil. Tartar was nice. The sweet potato fries were plain yam tasting and nothing else. Needed salt or better yet a maple aioli of sort. Service was very nice, the man brought our food up for us to the brewery upstairs.

Google
A great place to stop in for a late dinner during sunset , sit at the window and enjoy the view of the beach and the sun going down . Menu is simple and well put together . I chose the Halibut fish n chips with a jalapeño beer batter and a side of sweet potatoes. The fish Was light , fluffy and not heavy on the batter which is key! Drinks are ordered and served at a different counter - not at the same place you order the food . Bartender was awesome! He was fun and recommended a local gin “Wlder” to mix in a cocktail. I would come back again for the food , the view , the vibe and the fun bartender!

Google
I thought the Clam Chowder and the Calamari and the cocktail were really good, I do have a beef with how expensive the tacos are for only two tacos. They're good but not that good. It's more like $20-30 per person. Ambience is great though. That sun feels so good. Plenty of places to sit outside.

Google
What a special find! Delicious affordable food, fun cocktails, especially at happy hour and you can bring your well behaved 4 legged fur babies inside! The pier and views of the beach and ocdan are icing on the cake!

Google
Yummy but 30 bucks for one piece of fish with chips. Right on the pier so gorgeous location. Only 4 stars cause of the price. Nice lunch. Also got parking validated for eating in and the carpark is right next door.

Google
Nice fish place by the pier! Staff was awesome, super clean spot. Food was tasty, just a bit too much fried stuff for me—but hey, that’s the American vibe!

Yelp
I've been coming here for quite a few years now . The quality of their food on very consistent. Ahi tacos are the bomb . Great customer service. The staff is always delighted and enthusiastic to help .

Yelp
On Sat Dec 14th I visited this restaurant along with my wife and a friend. Naturally I had my beloved Steamer Bowl and somehow my wedding band ended up falling from my finger into the bowl. I only realized it happened a little later, already on my way back home in LA. My wife called the restaurant and a girl answered the phone explaining they were busy at that time with a large party, but they would check it later and call back if found. We were both sure it was lost, because once you have leftovers from shellfish, we assume you just toss it away. I was beyond sad... we got this band on our 20th anniversary... it is really special. For our surprise, next day we were watching TV and my wife noticed she had a missing call with a message. She called back and it was Rob... St Rob... he heard the metallic clink, found the ring, hold it and called us. We couldn't believe it. We hopped in the car and headed up immediately. That was beyond amazing. After thanking him a lot, I tried giving him a little token of our appreciation which he strongly refused saying he was just doing what he supposed to do. I really can't thank him enough for this classy lesson of how friendly and caring customer service can be. And OF COURSE we will continue returning... after all... I LOVE my bowl...

Yelp
First, I thought it was called Beach House Fish lol. SERVICE It deserves a 3 but due to cleanliness and ease of parking (parking lot walking distance) and being inside which helps when cold out, I moved it to a 4. Staff were great, beautiful views, and there'a another spot/bar upstairs. FOOD My food was horrible and I personally don't see myself returning. However, my two friends really enjoyed their clam chowder and margarita so that pushed it to a 4. I had the beer battered jalapeno flavored chicken which was a disappointment. It lacked portion size and flavor. I didn't taste anything and am confused on why people are enjoying it. I wished I ate chowder, but the crab legs were fine. WELL I'm not returning, but it was a nice outing with friends. It too was a place I wanted to try out for some time and glad I finally did.

Yelp
Spent the day in Ventura and finished the day here on the pier. Best part of visiting Ventura is all the fresh seafood so we had to take advantage of that while we were here. We ordered the Ceviche and I ended up buying a pullover from the gift shop. Cool place!

Robert S.

Yelp
Came here for lunch while passing though Ventura. I had a feeling it was going to be a tourist trap, but the food and ambience suggested otherwise. There's a parking garage for the area and Eric Ericsson will validate. The service was fine. Order at the counter and you pick up your own food. They provide a nice assortment of condiments and hot sauce. Food was good. I thought it was fresh and great quality, but you are taxed on the view. My little order of clams was priced at 24 bucks, but had about a 10-12 plump clams. Clam chowder was good, but i finished it in 4 bites. View of the ocean is nice and that's probably why the food is pricier than most places.

Yelp
Wow! I can't believe we've never eaten here! What a fantastic location on the pier! And a great restaurant set up! Walk up counter, order food, they give you a pager, bar is off to the left, great beer selection and plenty of drink options...or there's Made West Brewing upstairs-find a place to sit - also plenty of options with fantastic sunset views! Inside and out! The gal who works the front was friendly as was the gal working the bar! Very welcoming and comfortable vibe here! Beers were ice cold! Food was great! My husband enjoyed his regular battered Halibut fish and chips (battered filet was overcooked) and my regular battered sea bass tacos were tasty with the sauce, cabbage and salsa on top! Such a bummer though that the fish was way overcooked. I couldn't even tell it was sea bass? Still... was tasty! They offer a jalapeño batter as another option, that's why I described the food with "regular batter". I absolutely LOVE their clam chowder!! The BEST!! Definitely gives Splash cafe in Pismo some serious chowder competition!! They do have quite the menu here so I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try other dishes! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Located on the Ventura Pier, it has great views and a super open/bright/beach vibe. While we were in town, their doors were always open. As you can see from my pics their openness of the restaurant and their beach views. The staff was helpful. This is a place your order at the cashier station, and they deliver your food. We shared the Soup + Salad Combo. As you can see from my pic, the cup of New England Clam Chowder was creamy and rich. You can also see the ample chunks of clam meat. As you can see, the salad not only had fresh ingredients but quite the variety. There was a nice crunch and good pop from the seeds, all melding well with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing. We also shared their Elote Fish Tacos. What you see in my pic are 2 tacos. These tacos have plenty of ingredients and the soft shells held up well. Buried in there were good sized fish fillets. These fillets melted with each bite. The salsa was mildly flavorful: a bit tangy, bright and vibrant. The cabbage was super crunchy and complimented the soft fish and taco shells. The chili lime crema was also mild and added a smooth carrier for the salsa.

Yelp
We decided to stop by this spot for lunch as we were in the area for a different event. It wasn't too busy, we ordered our meals at the counter and were given a buzzer to notify us of when our order was ready. The clam chowder was delicious and very rich and creamy. Honestly a bowl itself is good enough as a meal. We ordered the quesadilla appetizer but honestly I wasn't a fan if it being served wet. We also got a side of sweet potato fries which wet perfectly crisped. I would definitely come back, but skip the wet sauce drenched quesadillas.

Yelp
If you're looking for a chill spot to unwind after a run or just want some good eats by the beach, Eric Ericssons Fish Co is a solid choice. It's one of my go-to places, especially with the pier open now--perfect for that casual, no-frills dining vibe. The counter service here works just fine for me when I'm in the mood for something laidback. The oysters were tasty, though they could use a bit more attention in the prep department--I had to fork them off the shell, and there was a bit of grit. But hey, for the price, I'm not complaining too much! THEEEEE Elote fish taco!!! This beauty **insert happy tear emoji**, fried in Madewest JALAPENO beer batter, is where it's at, trust. The portion is solid enough to share, and the fresh corn adds this sweet, juicy crunch that's just chef's kiss. I'd order this again in a heartbeat. The ceviche? Pretty decent! It's a good sharing app, nothing groundbreaking, but it does the job. As for the cocktails, I tried the rose one and the cucumber lemon combo--they're well-crafted and sneak up on you in the best way! Plus, the staff here are super friendly, from the counter to the bar.

Dmitry M.

Yelp
You're coming here for the views. For food look elsewhere. The snapper tacos look beautiful but that's all that can be said in the positive. They are 75% salsa with nearly no snapper. The snapper flavor poor at best, I've had day old leftover that were fresher. I really hope manage reads reviews and tastes the food that's coming out because this is was very disappointing.

Jasmine P.

Yelp
Beachside/ pier vibe of course. Casual. Clean. A huge plus is having a changing table in the women's bathroom. Not sure about men's bathroom. You order at the cashier and food it brought out to you. Overall vibe was friendly. We got there a few minutes before official opening. But they let me use the bathroom to change the baby. Food was delicious for the most part. The fish (cod) and chips in jalapeño beer batter was very good! We got it with a side of sweet potato fries. We also had the shrimp/crab quesadilla which was different but couldn't taste the shrimp and crab as much as hoped. We also tried the calamari which seemed dry and maybe stale. Overall good! And we hope to try some of their other items such as the poke bowl!

Mikey F.

Yelp
Fish and Chips, absolutely amazing. Got a fryer boat for 2 and for $30 it was great. It came with fish, shrimp, calamari and fries. We got jalapeño batter and it was a surprise of flavor. The location is right on the pier with great views and a great vibe. You wouldn't know this place existed if you didn't walk the pier. The service was non-existent. The reason for leaving a tip when your order is because you expect some sort of service. It's unfortunate that they almost force you to leave a tip since it starts at 15% and they don't do anything but take your order. You pick up your own food, drinks, silverware, condiments, and bust/clean your own table.... The food truly saves this place, but please DO NOT LEAVE A TIP since there is no service.

Amy A.

Yelp
If you're there on a weekend, be prepared to wait in a long line to order. This is an order at a counter and pick up when your buzzer buzzes. You find your own table and it's very casual. There is a separate walk up bar inside, for drinks. I had fish and chips and my friend has fish tacos. We sat outside on the pier and it was a beautiful, sunny, breezy day. Heavenly! Totally will go back!

Kate B.

Yelp
Love this spot right on the pier! Views are gorgeous of course, especially at sunset. Can't say much about the food aside from the delicious clam chowder, as we normally come for the happy hour drinks. Such a good deal!

Rob S.

Yelp
We were aimlessly driving around the coast in Oxnard with no destination. Until 4pm rolled around and I decided it was gin & tonic time. So I did what I usually do: I looked on Yelp. Searched for a restaurant/bar on the water and this place came up. 9 miles from where we were. So, off we drove. This place is right on the Ventura pier. We were there in a jiffy. The afternoon was grey, neither warm nor cold. The restaurant is big, with windows all around looking out at the ocean. There are also tables outside with a view of the water, beach and the pier. As it turns out, it was Happy Hour. We got a round of drinks along with the fried platter and a ceviche. Friendly bartender, friendly faces at the seafood counter too. The fried platter was really good. Piping hot and crispy and generous. The ceviche was good, not great. I went back to the bar and got one of their craft cocktails, rum with figs, lime and rosemary. Extremely delicious. Just a great place to enjoy an afternoon.

Yelp
I love that you order as you enter - no big check to split at the end !! the clam chowder was absolutely delicious and hearty very flavorful- the fish and chips were fresh and fried perfect I had the Cod - not dry at all very good - I had the jalapeno batter just feel it needs a little more seasoning but the delicious tarter sauce and malt vinegar made it delicious! I will definitely be back! also the ocean view was spectacular. Great service!

Kelsey R.

Yelp
Visited a friend in Ventura who brought us here for a nice lunch on the pier and it was perfect! Ordered at the register up front, line moved really quick, and the person taking orders was nice and helped us decide between a couple options we were torn on. I ordered the Caesar Salad with chicken and sweet potato fries. My friends ordered a poke bowl and some calamari. The Caesar salad was delicious, not too fishy which some places tend to be, and the grilled chicken was juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection. I didn't try my friends' poke bowl but it looked delicious and she loved it. The calamari was cooked perfectly and seemed to be good quality and not rubbery. The sweet potato fries were good, but maybe not worth an extra amount for them. The atmosphere was very laid back and pretty open, although our seats facing the ocean were in the sun and we cooked, so our fault for sitting there lol. We ordered some cocktails from their bar as well and those were absolutely delicious. I'd definitely be down to come back!

Yelp
I was going upstairs to Madewest and wanted some food. I had my little one as well who needed to eat. It wasn't to busy when we went. It was during the week day around 2ish. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. Once you order you can take a seat anywhere. They do have their own bar. Since I was going upstairs to MadeWest I didn't see what types of beer and drinks they offered. Their menu looks good. Has a variety of items. I got their kids chicken tenders and can't remember if it was their popcorn shrimp or beer battered shrimp I got. Order came out fairly quickly which was nice since the little one was hungry. I forgot to inform them to prepare the order to go, but it wasn't a problem. They have boxes and togo items ready for anyone to easily grab. Everything was really good and crunchy how I like. The shrimp came with your typical cocktail sauce which was really good. Chicken tenders came with ranch which was nice to also use on the shrimp. Overall, it's a nice place. Good menu items. I enjoyed what I got. I would come back.

Jessica N.

Yelp
A nice little spot to grab lunch or dinner. Wish we would have ventured upstairs. The fish and chips were great, tacos not so much. The cocktails were delicious but expensive. Paid the same price for two drinks, as we did for both plates of food.

Deb V.

Yelp
This place is a gem. First the practical: park in the pier lot, grab a ticket and save it for 4 hours free parking WITH VALIDATION from restaurant. We did forget at the end and had to run back. The ocean views are incredible. There are many tables outside both upstairs and downstairs. The made west bar is upstairs and they have full liquor and beer menu. The food menu is wonderful, includes all fresh seafood options as well as burgers and chicken sandwiches with the best crispiest fries. My ahi tuna tacos with veggies and crema were delicious and fresh. My husband's shrimp po boy was amazing and spicy. We loved everything. I highly recommend this wonderful Ventura local spot. I am sure it gets crowded in the summer but in winter it was a breeze to order and plenty of tables.

Hayden L.

Yelp
Great seafood place on the Ventura Pier. Keep in mind the place is actually on the pier and has no visual signage from the beach or street. You order food at the counter and there is a separate bar to order alcoholic drinks. Both the food cashier and bartender were very friendly. When you pay at the counter, the screen will ask you to leave a tip automatically popping up with options starting at 15%, 18%, then 20%. It is becoming extremely common for fast casual counter service restaurants to request a tip at the same percentages of sit down restaurants. The counter service here was extremely friendly, yet as a customer being asked to leave an extra tip, usually there is extra service. At this place, you seat yourself, get the food yourself, bus the table yourself, and not one employee stopped by the table. So I'm not really sure what the extra tip is for since there was no extra service. My friend and I split the Fryers Basket for $30 and it was delicious and a great value. We chose the Jalapeño batter which was excellent and gave it a kick but not too spicy. The fish was extremely fresh and crispy on the outside and flaky and soft on the inside. We sat outside and it was a great view, although a little overcast chilly with the marine layer. I definitely recommend this place and only took away one star because of the automatic tip request on the pay screen when no workers ever stepped in front of the counter to provide any extra service.

Bernadette G.

Yelp
My husband and I are her for the first time this weekend. The Ahi tacos, Grilled chicken tacos and salad were delicious! I can't believe we had never tried their food. The view on the pier was also breathtaking while we ate. I'm so glad we chose to eat here. Strongly recommend those tacos. Two of them will leave you very satisfied. Service was great too and we had the option to eat upstairs at the brewery or downstairs.

Mike P.

Yelp
Fresh fish on the Ventura Beach Pier. The place is called Eric Ericsson's but the signage is Beach Fish House. One of my mother's favorite places. I agree, the fish is fresh and delicious!

Kristina M.

Yelp
Beautiful seafood shack on the water - affordable, delicious, and a good date spot. Kind of random, but the napkins were the nicest quality napkins I've seen at a seafood shack. Service was quick and very friendly. We ordered the clam chowder bread bowl and blackened shrimp tacos. Clam chowder was super tasty! Very creamy and nice large chunks of clam. Also, the bread bowl is a great size for how much you get and tasted high quality. These tacos were absolutely enormous and stuffed with shrimp, cabbage, and salsa. I loved the kick and consistency of the salsa - not too runny nor too chunky and went down easy with bites of shrimp. I wish the tacos were separated on two pieces of parchment however, because the salsa did leave a bit of liquid and kinda destroyed the structural integrity of the second taco, which is why 4 stars. The shrimp also tasted great, wasn't overcooked, but I think it'd taste better fried, so I'll try that next time.

Gregg L.

Yelp
Once again, a surprised great place with great food. A little expensive, but was good and well worth the prices. Don't forget Happy Hour. We had taken a drive to Ventura, CA for a night out, and wanted to go to a nice restaurant. However, we found that the location on the Ventura Pier didn't quite be a "nice restaurant." Lined up for what we wanted at the restaurant counter, paid, and found a table. Our food was ready and we had to get it ourselves at the food counter, and sat down to eat. WHAT A SURPRISE !!! Both of us had a wonderful meal at the location. Able to see out the windows to the ocean and the Pier. I had "Scampi" with Bay Scallops, Shrimp, Penne, with Garlic, Lemon, White Wine, Cream, Parmesan, Parsley, and Spinach. (I like spinach!) It was spectacular. I am real picky with sea food, but this went on my list to stop by once again. I also had their Clam Chowder that I would have once again when I come back. My friend had "Fryer Boat" with Cod + Shrimp Fried, Calamari, Sweet Potato Fries in Beer Batter, and Pineapple Slaw. Once again, the food was spectacular. My friend grew up with sea food so liked it all. Once again, a new location that will be wonderful meal.

Andrea K.

Yelp
BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!!! Fish tacos were amazing!! I also ordered the sweet potato fries, poke nachos. Also showed up for happy hour for $5 drinks. Definitely a hidden gem . You order then sit and pick up at the cashier

Megan L.

Yelp
I ordered the Fryer boat basket ($30), which is suitable for two people, and I agree. It included five deep-fried shrimp, three cod fish sticks, a basket full of fries, and half a basket of calamari, lemon, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. I liked the seasoning of the calamari, and it was cooked pretty well. I wish the French fries had the same seasoning as the calamari. The problem was that the food was very oily. This makes you feel very full more quickly. The seating area has excellent views of the ocean and the shore. However, the upstairs seating is reserved for those who purchase an alcoholic beverage from the bar on the first floor. It is a cafeteria-style eatery. With a wall of sauces such as mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, Tabasco, and siracha. The parking lot is a short walk from the pier but at $10.

Robin W.

Yelp
Fresh Seafood with best view in Ventura!Ambiance is fabulous especially on a warm, sunny day enjoying outdoor dining with view of the waves and pier. Service is good and friendly. My husband loves their clam chowder and claims that it is the best tasting of any in his 60 years! My husband also loves their Tuna on Fire because it is always high grade piece of fish and very fresh. The first photo shows the blackened chicken tacos that were my favorite! They offer blackened or grilled chicken with a shrimp stuffed chili combo and they offer fish tacos but not the wonderful blackened chicken taco that was made 5 star favorite. It seems to me that they already make the de-constructed version of my favorite dish so they could offer it- but they don't- so 4 Stars for you!!! I ordered the Halibut fish and chips with the jalapeno beer batter and it was good but I don't enjoy it as much as the blackened fish tacos with the pickled veggies and lovely chipotle crema. We have been going to the taco shack across the pier and they have a fantastic variety of flavorful fresh Mexican choices but my husband can't get his clam chowder there. I am disappointed every time we come here since the menu change but this business does pride itself on selling fresh fish and the food is excellent. The location is m absolute favorite in Ventura and I highly recommend!

Alana K.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here on a Thursday night for dinner. We decided to go inside and sit down rather than order at the more casual taco shack outside. I ordered a bowl of the caldo de pescado and my boyfriend ordered the grilled Mahi fish tacos. The soup was a little oily, but it did come with a few nice pieces of fish. The fish tacos were huge and a bit hard to eat. We ordered the calamari to share, which was very good. The service was just okay. Even if you dine indoors, you still go up to the counter to order. Great view of the pier, though.

marissa l.

Yelp
Everything tasted fresh as expected. They gave us a buzzer for our order once it was ready so we didn't have to wait near the counter for it . Took our food upstairs to made west to sit in their nice balcony area. We ordered: Ahi tacos were very meaty! Yumm! Oysters were fresh Ceviche and chips were good I was very confused with their name as were so many other reviewers I've seen. Their menu says Eric Ericssons. Food was fresh but the flavors were ok. Great view and atmosphere for a nice day out.

Lucy W. H.

Yelp
Terrific tacos which you can purchase and eat near the ocean. Tacos that help you dream.

Julia C.

Yelp
By far one of my favorite places to go to. Their fish and chips are really good and so is the shrimp and chips. Everything I've tried here is very delicious and flavorful. They also make great alcoholic because. All in all such a great place to go with family and friends to watch the sunset while eating tasty food and having a drink. The service is great people are friendly and very attentive. Parking is $10 to park by the pier but well worth it because you just have to go up the stairs to get to Eric Ericssons Fish Co. I'm sure there is free parking but it's a further walk. Next time you're in the area check it out I promise you won't regret it.

Jessica C.

Yelp
This is a really wonderful place to go after a long day at the fairgrounds or on the beach. The fish is so incredibly fresh which is exactly what I want while eating and looking onto the beach. The calamari had an absolutely wonderful texture and so did the fries. The brussel sprouts were maybe overly seasoned with gochujang so it really because "gochujang with a side of brussel sprouts." I'm an avid poke lover so my rating of poke may be more hardcore than others. I think it's a great dish if you want to try poke or are looking to get into the world of raw fish. But as for taste, the sauce does all the flavor, everything else is plain so I'm really just tasting an overwhelming amount of siracha. I wouldn't buy this again and I'm a bit disappointed by it. I really wish I had bought the pasta or a burger instead. But my overall experience besides some of these dishes were wonderful. The view is incredible and the staff makes it really easy and fast to order. Would come here again but would definitely try something else.

Sarah R.

Yelp
Fresh fish ready for purchase. Totally affordable and always the top notch quality you're looking for when you want some yummy sashimi/ahi. We picked up a pound of ahi and a half pound of halibut for about $30 ish if I remember correctly though the price fluctuates (:

Francis ..

Yelp
Great view, nice service. Happy hour was a bonus! Free parking in the garage with restaurant validation. ...................................................................................

Kelly L.

Yelp
Very Disappointed in Our Experience Yesterday. I ordered 2orders of Fish and Chips , one with rice instead of fries The Fish Size Has been reduced Immensely!!!! Half the size it used to be ! The rice was basically an inedible rock . This WAS a place where My Large Family Would go MANY,MANY TIMES over the past 20 Years !!!! Well I don't Think we will be going here . The Price by the way has Increased to $23.00 for Three Fish STRIPS !!!! I will go To LURE or SPENCERS or THE Harbor next time .

Yolanda A.

Yelp
Great food! Nice service! Great salmon ! Very fresh. This passion fruit drink - called the Golden Hour was a hit!

Norge Y.

Yelp
Came back in hopes of having another great experience. Unfortunately, things didn't go quite as well. I ordered the ceviche again and it was assembled very sloppily and didn't look anything like what I had before. The food came out in a decent amount of time but several spots had trays and trash all over them and remained so for more than 15 minutes. We pushed items to the side just so we could sit indoors. There was a "now hiring" post at the entrance so I assume they were short-handed during a busy Saturday lunch hour. If this was my first experience here, I would probably not come back but I know they can do better. I look forward to returning on a day and at a time they are not so busy.

Daniel E.

Yelp
Little pricy but the food was really really good and fresh. The king crabs were memorable ($75/lb) The clam chowder, elotes fish taco, thai curry steamed oysters all amazing. Would definitely go again if I'm back in town.

Kate T.

Yelp
Halibut Fish and chips was stellar! I got the jalapeño batter and it was great and not overly spicy - just good flavor. Ono fish tacos were delicious. Tartar sauce was a star of the show.

Ryann C.

Yelp
This is an exceptional restaurant located on the pier. They serve the best clam chowder in a delicious bread bowl. Pair your meal with a side of calamari and you will send your taste buds to heaven. A beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view. The food is delicious - you won't regret stopping here!!

Yelp
I never wanted to try this place / I figured it was just a place on the pier for tourist. I was wrong! The food is very good - we had the ceviche - excellent and fish tacos with jalepeno batter - the batter was not spicy but had a good flavor. It's not cheap - a little on the high side based on the amount of food you get - but it's very good and add in the view - it's awesome. Service can take a long time - you stand in a line. I'm glad we finally tried the food and looking forward to going back.

Yelp
We had lunch here during a beach weekend and they had perfectly fried fish! I had the elote fried fish taco regular along with a small bites fish and chips with jalapeno batter. Servings were large and both were delicious. My kids had the bread bowl clam chowder and seafood soup and those were also very tasty. Service was quick and efficient. Great location on the pier with nice views!

Yelp
The food was great !! Very fresh and good portions. The view was even better with the way the restaurant is set up like a panopticon. Service was decent and it was a very homey and cozy place,

Yelp
Recently paid a visit to Beach house fish, with my husband and daughters.... I was thoroughly impressed by not only the food, but ambiance and views. We joined my husband on a business trip and stumbled across this gem! Service was excellent as well. After a trip with the family from NorCal, we were very pleased with the overall dining experience. My food was so delicious, flavorful and extremely fresh. I loved how they had a little bit of everything for my family besides seafood options. I had the scampi pasta and the stuffed chile. Wowzer!! Perfectly done. Literally executed every dish we had at our table. Oh! And one more thing.... The awesome multi areas to be eat. From inside with beautiful views of the ocean, to upstairs and outdoor. All with stunning views of the sunset and so forth. Will be back again.

Yelp
This is where I go for a really indulgent meal and quite frankly favorite place. We often come here for oysters which are always a treat. Our go-tos are the blackened fish tacos, but the star of this place is the steamer bowl, which is chock full of crab, scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels. And to top it off it's this broth that could seriously stand in is own Just when you think you are done, finish it off with the pickled Mary, which is a must have.

Yelp
I loved the poke tacos, oysters, and refried black beans. Don't get anything blackened! I thought it would be healthier than fried. But it tastes burnt. I couldn't even eat them.
