Ernst Happel Stadium

I recently attended the Robbie Williams concert at Ernst Happel Stadium. While the event itself was fantastic and the entry process was well-organized, I couldn’t help but notice that the stadium is showing its age. The seating is outdated and doesn't meet modern standards in terms of comfort and spacing, which took away from the overall experience a bit. That said, the staff managed the crowd efficiently, and getting in and out of the venue was smooth. With some renovation and upgrades—especially to the seating—this stadium could truly live up to its potential as a top event location.

Excellent experience. Modern arena with perfect organization. Good traffic connection. Only negative is bas cover with gsm signal. Bosnia and Herzegovina played here bit it was unlucky 😳🇧🇦🇧🇦

I visited the Ernst Happel Stadium to see Harry Styles in 2023. It was a very good experience! I lined up for quite a while and security honoured fan lines and made sure everything was calm and orderly. One of the best queueing experiences I’ve ever had. The staff in the stadium also hand out water to those in the pit! One downside is the bathrooms are so far back when you’re standing it takes nearly 10 minutes to walk there. I wished to return in 2024 again to see Taylor Swift but unfortunately those shows were cancelled. Hope to come back again soon.

Went there for AC/DC concert in June 2024. Very easy to reach with U Bahn at Stadion station, as well excellent organization after the concert when train after train was organized to transport 50 K+ people. Good acoustics and many spots to buy beer. Food options below average and expensive

Wonderful GN'R concert. The roof of Stadion can unfortunately not be closed and it was raining that evening.

We were on there on Imagine dragons and Pink. It is easier to get there by metro. Also the way back by metro - U bahn Station was good organized. Staff guide you after concert, where to go. Organization is perfect. Stadion entrances are perfectly prepared. It is very easy and quick to get to your seat, there are staff which will show you where to go. Only one think I recommend. On imagine dragons were available also toitois downstairs. It was perfect. But on pink concert not and this was big disaster. People stays got toilet 15 minutes. Please at least 5 toitois for each downstairs will be more than enough. Anyway I think that Austrian organization is perfect!

Great atmosphere during concerts! Good visibility, sests are a bit uncomfortable unfortunately. You can buy drinks while you watch games / concerts. Snacks are okay priced. Snacks snd drinks are also straight to the seats. No long queuing ~ 5 minutes.
