I ordered Rotel and chips and the “shareable”portion size I received after spending $20 wasn’t even enough for one. Since I was at work, I couldn’t go back for a refund. Such a waste of money and time. In response to your reply, my order was already prepared because as stated I was at work. I work for Amazon and you were one of the vendors here. So in the Fooda app, it very well states it’s a “shareable” item; so maybe that’s something that can be corrected on your end. So because I was at work, I didn’t check the container until I got upstairs because let’s be honest, you don’t expect a “shareable item” to be almost empty. That’s odd that you found a way to shift blame and make it my fault instead of just taking accountability for the issue. But you’re absolutely correct, I should’ve checked. It won’t be an issue in the future. Thanks for the reply.

All the way from Indy we love y’all! I’ve visited plenty of times and brought one of my daughters this time! She agrees this menu beats all the bbq in Indy. She especially enjoyed the staff! She will be back for the ribs mac n cheese yams and greens and to try something else on the menu! Thank you

They should rename this place to everything burnt. I ordered a rib side and I received ribs that were completely burnt up and dredged in sauce to cover it up. The ribs were also old as if they had been cooked two or three days prior. I also got the brisket dinner and I asked for the more marbled Center cut side of the brisket, I received all fat and dry brisket that was cut on the grain. That was not good at all. It too had been cooked days before being served. I will also mention that this was the fourth time I attempted to get food from this restaurant . I came one evening and was informed that there was no brisket left on a Monday. I did not know they were closed on Tuesday so I came back on Tuesday , then came back on Wednesday and they were not open again. I waited a week on a Thursday and went back over there and tried them out and I have been completely disappointed and it was a complete and utter waste of $37. Then the employee named Tony was extremely rude, dry unwelcoming, and just appeared as if he did not want to be there. I attempted to be friendly with him and try to cheer him up, but he was just rude, mean and it was not good customer service.

Mac and Cheese was delicious as well as the Hibachi Bowl! Shrimp were crispy and my new go to spot for the fried shrimp.

I’m just going to dive right into it.. the food was burnt, they don’t answer the phone..& the sides were disgusting. My fiancée spent $120 I tried contacting them & was unsuccessful. We ordered on 9/12/24 as you can see my lamb chops was so badly burnt that the meat turned to the size of a nickel!! He wanted to try something new me not to much wish he would’ve read the reviews not to mention it took our food over an hour to receive.. everybody can’t cook will not return.. his food was dry as well..that’s all… Uber order!!! Update correction the order total was $91.38 I added the receipts as well from Uber you your restaurant. still doesn’t make up for the fact that my lamb chops was burnt And the food was nasty.. but there is the proof That we did order from your restaurant I adjusted the total as well now that I was able to see the receipt. Part of it was the tip for the driver.

The brisket is bland they had the nerve to sprinkle seasoning on top :/ and then these 2.5 lamb chops and scoop of sides all for $65.00

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. me and my husband went and got the Ruth chris meal, and the wing meal. the fries were soggy and wings weren’t done. sauce is very plain. his burger had a brisket on it was very tuff. and after we called and talked to the manger he gonna say it’s been selling soo he can’t do anything abt it.

Legit BBQ that made my Southern soul happy. This is my new go-to for BBQ. This is a carry out place right on McNichols, with parking in front or behind. There are a few tables to wait for your order, next time I'll call ahead but the wait was short so no big deal. I got ribs with baked beans and Mac n cheese. The star for me was the sauce: this was the best BBQ sauce I've had in Michigan. And it's not even close. Sweet, tangy, it was great! The ribs were really good: deep smoke penetration with a fantastic smoky flavor. And they were properly cooked, with just the right amount of bite. The Mac n cheese was tasty. The baked beans were really good, unique but in a really good way. And the little sweet potato muffin was delightful. I'll try the green beans next time I go. The only things I wish they had are sweet tea and pulled pork, but those aren't a thing around here, and I get that. I just can't help myself for wishing. This place is really good. There's no doubt I'll be back, it's the best BBQ I've had in a wide radius that I didn't make myself. Highly recommend!

I ordered the smoked turkey leg dinner.. this food is the old school soul food taste you're looking for. I would want to be invited to this family's dinner. The potato salad is delicious, the Mexican street corn is delicious. My meal also came with Mac and cheese and dressing. 10/10 . The portions of food they give is wonderful for the price . This was my first time eating here. I will be ordering from here again. Amazing comfort food. Try them. I ordered from Door dash so I couldn't tell you about the customer service or the ambiance. The food outweighs the negatives if I were to find any.

I usually don't write reviews, but I just had to this time. After purchasing a GROUPON for this establishment, I finally went, and boy was I highly disappointed. I arrived on a Sunday about 1 and 1/2 hours before closing. The person who I assumed was the owner proceeded to tell me that there wasn't much food left. So, I said "ok" and ordered the rib tips. Worse food I've ever had! The tips were burned, the mac n cheese was too salty and watery. The string beans were just ok. If this is soul food I don't know from what sole, pun intended! I will never, ever set foot in this establishment again. I so wanted to support this small business, but in all honesty just can't. If I could give it a zero rating, I would. :~(

I got the 1/2 slab rib dinner with two sides: collard greens plus macaroni and cheese. I added a sweet potato muffin. While the ribs were tender, juicy, and well-seasoned--the macaroni and cheese was too salty and so were the collard greens. The sweet potato muffin was very rubbery and dry. There was confusion about the special offered online upon arrival, which was eventually honored. However, I can't say that I'll be back. I'll stick to Uptown BBQ or Slow's for all things smoked and sides that don't necessarily come with another side of hypertension.

The food is okay. I had the brisket burger. Don't go if you're pressed for time.

Decided to try this place since it is close to my house. I purchased a Groupon but when I arrived at the merchant, the owner said I needed to make a $20 purchase first. The groupon only states that a drink needs to be purchased. The owner tried to show me a OLD email that states the requirements of the Groupon but I referred back to the updated Groupon App that shows different. I ordered Mac & Collard greens which were actually pretty great. The food redeemed them.

The menu had several things that I was really interested in. I had tried the shrimp previously which were pretty good. I decided to go with the brisket sandwich. It is served topped with barbecue sauce, cheese and coleslaw, which I asked for on the side. There were also crinkle cut fries. The fries were crispy, hot and a decent portion. The sandwich however, was slightly bigger than a slider. The meat that I expected to be tender and juicy with that trademark smoke ring was everything but. It was cold, slightly dry with flabby fat and no distinct smoke flavor. The service was okay. Parking can be a little rough because of the location. The building itself is handicapped accessible. The experience was kind of lackluster. I don't see myself going out of my way to return for what can be summed up as a $15 slider with fries.

Only thing good was the baked beans and kids ate the macaroni but them wings BLAND AF and turkey leg wasn't even cooked all the way through Gave me a 4.oz cup for sauce and only put .5oz in it ‍ spent $55 on that order through Grubhub Definitely wasn't worth it Fed it to my dogs!!

Old style BBQ and delicious. We from Cleveland Ohio andvthis was our first time going here. We had a oxtail dinner from another place and my girlfriend was not happy so I saw the smoker earlier. I drove back and I am glad I did. The cook as and staff are very professional. The food is really good. Trust me. You'll be posting after you try it.

We order our food to go and they put a dry rub on their ribs which was different for me but still very flavorful. But I like things saucy but I asked for BBQ sauce on the side. Their sides were great, we ordered Mac and cheese and greens. It was a few other people waiting for their food along with us. They seem to be a little backed up but I didn't mind the wait. The food was really good. So, no complaints

I ordered the smoked whole chicken wings. They are were very tasty. They could use a bit more seasoning but that's just my own personal taste. The potato salad is delicious as well. It's fresh, creamy and flavorful. The mac and cheese is classic and straightforward. Reminds me of my grandmother's mac and cheese. The barbecue sauce provided on the side is also delicious and savory. Not too sweet with a tiny bit of heat. Try this place out.

The food was absolutely outstanding. The pulled pork with homemade sauce was amazing. The owner went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect.

I had the burger with brisket on top. Maaaann that was one gooooood burger. Good sauce with seasoned Fries. Will definitely go back.

I was at the establishment on 11/22/2022 with my son who came to visit from Texas. I ordered a rib dinner, rib tip dinner and a side of rib tips. The ribs were okay, but those tips were as hard as a rock! The owners were there thst evening and assured that they had a new cook and everything was going to be good. I called and the cook said I remember you and to come back for a replacement. Never went back though.

Outstanding service . The food good too . Good customer service goes a long way with me. And err thang smoked has provided that service every time .

The best and I mean the best Mac n cheese I ever had out! They need to let you order a bigger serving of it. I ordered it from DoorDash.

I Visited this Establishment recently and i have some mixed feelings while the chicken wasn't the best the beans were great but the fries were super bland and tasted like dogshit they weren't seasoned well and the customer service was sorta rude but helpful at times overall i would come again but i wouldn't order the fries as they tasted like a fat mans titties
