Eryri National Park (Snowdonia)

Stunning scenery! Range of landscapes to admire and enjoy. You walk along past the railway track, you can opt to catch the train up and down if you prefer. The walk itself is not overly strenuous, real range of people climbing from young children to older age range.

Snowdonia is truly a must-visit place! We went there during snowfall, and it was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. There are a couple of routes to reach the Snowdonia summit, and we chose the Pyg Track. However, for first-time visitors, I would recommend taking the Miners’ Track as it is a bit easier and more comfortable. The best time to visit is during the summer season when the views are absolutely amazing. The hike usually takes around 2 to 4 hours one way, and the summit stands at about 3,500 feet. Overall, it was an incredible adventure, and I highly recommend it to nature and hiking lovers

​If you are looking for a place that delivers breathtaking views without necessarily requiring a strenuous hike, Snowdonia in the summer is absolutely worth the trip. ​We visited on a summer day, experiencing 3 of the 4 seasons weatherwise. First off the scenery was nothing short of spectacular. The mountains provide a stunning backdrop that feels almost otherworldly, even from the ground level. ​Since we weren't planning on hiking up Snowdon itself, we looked for other ways to enjoy the area. We ended up taking the train ride that goes around the lake (Llanberis Lake Railway), which was a lovely experience. It’s a fantastic way to soak in the views of the lake and the peaks. ​As for the town (Llanberis), it is quite small. There isn't a huge amount to do if, but there is certainly enough to occupy you for a few hours. It’s a peaceful spot to kill some time.

This is the most beautiful country side and to drive through it it's breath taking its a must now and again to stop the car and just take it all in . September/October is a great time to as the weather is still good but much more quiet just how we like it...

One of the best hikes I’ve done in the UK, the views were unmatched. It took us approximately eight hours to climb and descend Snowdon. The weather was also glorious so that definitely helped.

Very hard to rate and talk about it . It's an amazing place surrounded with heels and mountains whith a lot of springs and lakes Whits lovely little villages .The views are astonishing and you need weeks or months to cover all locations and places. Honestly it's one of the most amazing places I ever been.

Snowdonia national park and surrounding roads, offer what must be some of the most beautiful views anywhere in the UK. It can be enjoyed by car even if you're not into hiking.

We loved snowdonia. My autistic adhd son is now obsessed by slate and we acquired a "collection" and as a wheelchair user I was so pleasantly surprised by the free use of trampers for different trails which were a godsend as they enabled me to get out into the countryside and enjoy this amazing place with my family. The visitor centre staff were a huge help too and got me a tramper with a couple days notice, even though the standard advertised is 4 weeks. It is beautiful. There are toilets near at least one of the small car parks near the trails and base of snowdon (sorry can't remember Welsh name), including disabled loo and there are water filling stations. We loved it, our kids between 4 and 15 loved it, it inspired an uninspired artist and recharged our batteries. If you're disabled and thinking you can't visit, you can!
