Escape Lounges

Only had a few minutes in here but simple yet modern lounge with an open layout. Hot and cold food choices, self serve coffee and desserts. Wish I had more time but great space. A little bit of a distance from B gates but a little more walking isn’t bad.

We came to the airport early just so we could check out the new lounge. The lounge is located near gate A5 so once you get through security, go right and it’s almost to the end of the terminal. We got in for free using my Priority Pass membership which includes yourself and a guest. It wasn’t too crowded but they had a great layout with a variety of seating options. The atmosphere was very calm and every staff member was very friendly and provided excellent service. We grabbed seats by the window and fixed a small plate of food. The food selection was great - various hot and cold options plus a section for coffee. There was one bar in the middle of the lounge that offered a wide assortment of drinks. Near the back of the lounge there were a couple private rooms that were glassed off - I’m assuming they’d be perfect for business travelers needing to conduct some business while flying. Overall this was a great visit and we’ll make a point to stop by every time we fly out.

the food was very good not your typical lounge food and the service was even better! Jardell was readily available to serve us and take care of us the whole time we were there even though it was crowded he made us feel like we were the only people there

First time in the new lounge! Love the decor, spacious enough. Food was great - especially the Mac and cheese. Also had sparkling wine. Jerdell provided outstanding service! Glad KC has added this, worth coming a little early for.

First time visiting the Escape Lounge at MCI, and I had a great experience! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food tasted fresh and delicious, with a good variety of options. The lounge is clean, cozy, and a perfect spot to relax. I’d definitely come back again!

The new Escape Lounge at MCI is beyond amazing. They’ve got a good selection of alcohol and non-alcohol options. The food is decent. AND, the staff are super friendly. From front desk, bartender, to wait staff, everyone greets you with the sincerest smiles the moment when you set your foot in the lounge. Keep up the great work!!! MCI is probably the best airport in this entire country so far.
