Escape Lounge is a great spot to pass the time before a flight or during a delay/layover. I had no idea this was here, and I’m mad I haven’t been before. The food selection is much larger and better than most Priority Pass lounges I’ve visited. There’s plenty of seating, a solid bar area, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I’d definitely recommend it and will be coming back.

Decent food, good service, tiny plates and cheap napkins! I have been to many priority pass lounges. The general rule is that in the US they are bad, and outside of the US they are good. This one in Kansas City is an exception because it’s actually pretty good. The food selection is decent and the taste and quality is okay too. Not delicious, but really not too bad. Staff is really friendly and competent. The main slap in the face is the tiny plates. They are literally smaller than my hand and make the experience feel much more economy. They also bury them stacked on a shelve below the counter so you have to squat and dig to get them. Quite awkward and just feels overkill. The napkins are also super low quality and thin and small. Other than that, it’s worth it. Get better plates and napkins!

Far and away the best fancy lounge at MCI. The Delta lounge is nice, but to get anything you want in there is always extra. They might have Bud light for free, but if you want a decent beer you have to pay for it. Same thing with all the cocktails. This place is always clean. Restrooms are great. Food is good and always out. Bartender and staff are always helpful and friendly.

Its the only priority pass lounge at MCI. I was expecting better. The outlet at my seat near the window in the corner wasn't working but did another port. Food was not thr best. Thr sandwich isn't balanced its just lettuce bread and like barely 2 slices kf turkey. They had other stuff jt was fine but not mh favorite. However the coffee maker they have was solid. The alcohol was decent for the free first row options. The chairs look deceiving there not that comfortable compared tk other lounges. Lastly it felt a bit crammed and small. I will go again but for tbe drinks. The food is verh boring menu doesn't change at all its tbr same tbjbg everyday.

Third time visiting ESCAPE Lounge at KCI and it’s been consistently great. The lounge is bright, modern, and comfortable with plenty of seating—tables, booths, a full bar, and even small conference rooms. They also have a quieter section away from the food area, which I’ve used on a past visit and really appreciated. Service is the standout here. Staff greet you warmly, keep drinks coming, clear tables quickly, and refresh the buffet often. Even the manager was bussing tables on my last visit, which says a lot about the standard they set. Food selection is better than most Priority Pass lounges. This visit, I had Italian meatballs with jasmine rice (a fun little fusion plate), my mom enjoyed a fresh sandwich, and my vegetarian dad was happy with the salads and sweets. Other options included charcuterie, roasted veggies, baked potato soup, and pastries. Drinks include a full-service bar plus self-serve coffee and water, though the coffee could be stronger. Overall, ESCAPE is a great pre-flight stop. Between the friendly staff, bright design, and solid food, it feels like a treat before flying. Every visit I’ve left feeling like a first-class traveler, even when I’m not.

Very impressed with the quality of this lounge. Fantastic addition to MCI. Nice food selection with frequent turn over. Wonderful and attentive staff. Beautiful design and viewing of the tarmac. Priority Pass or AMEX Platinum membership is required.

We came to the airport early just so we could check out the new lounge. The lounge is located near gate A5 so once you get through security, go right and it’s almost to the end of the terminal. We got in for free using my Priority Pass membership which includes yourself and a guest. It wasn’t too crowded but they had a great layout with a variety of seating options. The atmosphere was very calm and every staff member was very friendly and provided excellent service. We grabbed seats by the window and fixed a small plate of food. The food selection was great - various hot and cold options plus a section for coffee. There was one bar in the middle of the lounge that offered a wide assortment of drinks. Near the back of the lounge there were a couple private rooms that were glassed off - I’m assuming they’d be perfect for business travelers needing to conduct some business while flying. Overall this was a great visit and we’ll make a point to stop by every time we fly out.

We had a wonderful experience at the lounge. Check-in was smooth and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful. Once we got inside, Daren was exceptional and he definitely upgraded our experience. The lounge was comfortable and the food was plentiful. The lounge is small but it wasn't crowded. I would definitely recommend this lounge.
