Escape Rooftop Bar

Escape has an amazing view of the intercoastal and city at large. The ambiance is nice and cozy. Service was fast and the drinks were great! It closes at 10pm so keep in mind when planning a visit. I had the octopus and the bruschetta which tasted amazing! Can't wait to go back and sample more of the menu. I would definitely recommend!

Escape Rooftop is a solid spot with a really nice view—definitely one of the better rooftop scenes in Fort Lauderdale. The vibe was good and the space itself is well-designed. That said, it’s located in a hotel, so you’ve got kids playing in the pool nearby, which takes away from the more upscale, adults-only rooftop feel you might expect. Still, it’s a cool place to grab a drink and enjoy the scenery, just not somewhere I’d bring out-of-town guests for a “wow” experience. Worth checking out, but probably not a go-to for special occasions

This was one of my favorite places my boyfriend and I visited on our vacation! We only went at night so didn’t experience the pool or anything during the day but the view was INCREDIBLE. The service was super fast. Not as busy as we thought it would be which was super nice because we were expecting it to be bustling. A little bit hard to find but the hotel restaurant host guided us directly to where we needed to go which was so nice. Great selection of wine. Pricey depending on what you get for drinks but so worth it. We went twice while on a week vacation! Bonus points for being right near our Airbnb.

The views of Fort Lauderdale were stunning, the food was absolutely delicious, and all our friends couldn’t stop raving about the location and the menu. Alyson, the catering director, was incredible—so kind, helpful, and accommodating every step of the way. The staff was warm, attentive, and truly made us feel cared for. Even the DJ (provided by the venue) kept the energy just right all night. It was a beautiful, unforgettable evening. We’re so grateful to the entire team for making it so special. Highly recommend!

With only one night in town, taking a walk along the beach, then watching the sunset here with a spectacular view and vibe was awesome. But Kate made the experience that much better based on conversation and interaction we got to have with her. So if anyone is looking for a really unique and awesome place to relax, catch up, meet friends, or watch the sunset turn into an evening out there...escape is the place while in Ft. Lauderdale. Ps. First time going… I found it on a whim and about 15 of my friends showed up. Every one of them came to me and said they were impressed by the view! The cocktails rocked aswell!

A little confusing to find the place. When you reach the floor, someone has to open the door from inside and the signs are not very clearly marked in the elevator. But once you reach, the view are just amazing. Very trendy atmosphere. Drinks are expensive, but you pay for the views. The place is relatively new so check out before the word goes out.

So we just left this place. I honestly don't want to knock it. Very cute venue! Beautiful view! Romantic. Great vibe. Great music. Seating areas are just adorable. Now comes the "but." Cocktails were good but pricey for the size. The caprese salad was good also. We put in the order for the food at the same time. And so we waited..... and waited.....anddd waited.... One of the servers asked if our food had come out, we said no. Waited some more. They apologized and gave us 2 complimentary cocktails. When the food eventually came out, I promise I've never seen entrees so small in my life. If you make a circle with your forefingers and thumbs...... that's how big my meal was. I had the scallops and they were delicious but I told my husband "damn, I'm gonna need Taco Bell on the way home!" He had the short rib risotto which came in 4 meatballs which were also delicious! But $150 later and we are headed for beer and sliders at the pub!

I was a little hesitant to come here for a date night but I am so glad I did! We hadn't heard of the rooftop before but it's exactly what my husband and I were looking for. A place with a great view, chill, private, quiet and with amazing food and drinks. Our server gave us great recommendations based on what we each liked. The pineapple drink was amazing and refreshing. My husband's drink, the cucumber and basil was also great but a little too strong for me. Our favorite dish was the salad, the pears and Gorgonzola cheese were amazing. All the flavors combined perfectly. The pizza was also very good, I loved how great the fig tasted with the pesto. The arancini was also very yummy, the red sauce tied it all together. Lastly the tiramisu was huge! Definitely recommend sharing it, my husband and I couldn't even finish it. We loved coming here and look forward to coming back.

Drinks are excellent (but pricey) and the views are amazing. Nice bar manager as well. The only thing is....you have to get there THROUGH The Shorebreak Hotel. So map/google that...walk through the lobby, through the restaurant, past the pool, and the elevator for the roof is back behind the hotel pool.

We were visiting on a long road trip and this was our first time here. The crew/team here goes out of their way to make sure yo are taken care of with amazing drinks, cocktails and the food is also amazing here. Vanessa and Jorge made us feel at home every day and their service was excellent. We actually decided on two separate days to just hang out by the rooftop pool ALL day and drink and eat there instead of venturing out and it was so nice. Great people work here and the view is incredible. We are already planning our return!

We had a great experience at escape rooftop bar. We made reservations earlier in the day and we were sat at a couch and comfy chairs. We ordered the bruschetta which was incredible. I ordered the cucumber and basil drink and it was the best drink I've ever had. We had two more people with our group that ordered the tomato, which was a Bloody Mary and it was fabulous!

The ambiance and pool on the rooftop is amazing. The view of the inter coastal is equal to any ocean view. Drink pours are fantastic! Bartenders are friendly and it seems like a hidden gem.

Beautiful view. The drinks and food were great. But the best was our bartender Steven! He was so kind and attentive! He helped take our picture and made us feel so comfortable. Tip: entrance is at the back gate that looks like the wrong entrance.

Spent two afternoons here during our stay in Ft Lauderdale. Relaxed house music set the tone. Excellent cocktails and nice patrons. Winner!

My experience there was pretty good. The cocktail concoctions are excellent with the dry ice special effects and different fancy garnishes. We should've made a reservation to get a table because it was packed, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was nice, but he was not on-point. I also watched him pick up the ice with his bare hands. One bartender wore gloves, but the other one did not. I know I'm a bit more cautious after Covid especially but that kinda grossed me out. The burgers were mediocre and the shrimp cocktail had 3 shrimps. They need to step up their game at those prices!

Not a bad vibe but they have zero umbrellas for people that are dining which makes it unbearable in this heat to sit and have a meal in the beating sun. I even asked for an umbrella but they could not accommodate. Not going to do well in the summer if they can't figure something out.

Great views. Tasty food. Fabulous service. Escape is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. Will 100% be back when I'm in town!

"Escape was one of the most beautiful experiences I had of a rooftop bar. I was there to celebrate my birthday, and they made it extra special. Vanessa, the waitress, was excellent; her food recommendations on the menu were yummy. The atmosphere was fantastic, and The champagne recommendation was excellent. The Director of food and Beverage (Nathan) came by to wish me a happy birthday and popped the bottle of champagne for me that was nice lol. I would recommend this place to anyone that's looking for a quiet place with a beautiful view."

Great place! Their bar food menu is delicious. Venessa makes outrages cocktails. Ambiance is relaxed with a beautiful view. Will return each time we're in town.
