"This is the local fine dining-meets-French bistro find with a lovely family-owned and intimate ambiance. Popping red chairs and Parisian décor comprise the vibe, whereas French onion soup, beef bourguignon, and frog legs highlight its menu. Tucked in a corner of a strip mall, it’s an all-around pleasant surprise." - Jesse Scott

This is a charming little french restaurant. The decor, the music, and the food all reminded me of a bistro in Paris. Just a great vibe where you feel transported abroad. The food is made from scratch and there a limited tables so I recommend making a reservation. Everything tasted delicious and I enjoyed slowing down to enjoy this meal prepared with fresh ingredients and the passion of a family owned business.

Google
Such a great experience from start to finish. The husband is so friendly and welcoming—he serves with the biggest smile and makes you feel right at home. His wife is the chef, and her cooking is incredible—everything tasted homemade and full of love. You can really tell they care about what they do. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

Google
Incredible food and service. We had the traditional escargot, French onion soup, lamb shank, duck l'orange, and creme brulee. All would deff recommend and order again. The woman the took our order was super sweet and accommodating, the man that was checking on our table was also very kind. My only gripe would be it was pretty warm inside i might being a portable fan next time :P will be returning! Also it was packed the whole night, deff make a reservation.

I have had this restaurant saved for a while and recently read the reviews where a number of people mentioned having a 3 course meal for lunch for a great price (between $22.95 - $26.95). I am here to say - IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! Escargot Bistro is a quaint restaurant in Oakland Park owned by a loving family where the wife is the cook and the husband was the server. He was attentive, personable, kind, and checked in on me frequently. The food was out of this world! In my opinion, it is better than most of the restaurants I tried when I visited Paris in 2023. The family cooks with love and my only regret is that I haven’t been here sooner. I will be back soon and will be sure to tell others about it! Thank you for having me in your establishment.

Google
I stopped here one day because I was craving some creme brulee, and realized I had never realized there was a french bistro near me Wow! The food was incredible. Every single plate I was served was to die for and the portions were more than ample. The food I feel is also very reasonably priced. Service was 10/10 they are very focused on making sure you enjoy the food The escargots and puff pastry dish is so goos. Foie gras with vegetables was also delicious Would return here again!

Google
Hands down, the best French restaurant in Broward county. It’s a hole in the wall, family operated businesses with friendly and quaint atmosphere. Great place for a small group or date night. We ordered escargot, salads, soup of the day, steak frites, crepes, and their duck entree. Everything we tried was top notch and tasted like authentic french cuisine. Highly recommended!

Google
Every single thing we had was five stars. This was such a great lunch and the atmosphere is so French. I’ve never been to France but I felt like I was in a little French bistro. Our server Stefan was so friendly and helpful and his wife the chef is so talented. All the food was authentic and fresh. I could taste the talent and love in every bite. Love love love and we’ll be back!

Google
This place has the best escargot I have ever had. The owners are from the south of France and every bite reflects that. I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
First time here for dinner with my husband. (Saw on TV show, Check Please) They are open for dinner on Mondays. We were immediately greeted by a lovely young woman and shown to our table. The restaurant is very charming maybe 8 tables and very quiet because it was a Monday night. The young lady who greeted us was also our server, her name is Sarah and she was very lovely and informative. We each ordered a glass of wine Les had a French red, I had a Riesling and it was a nice pour. I ordered the traditional escargot ,bubbling hot! and my husband had the French onion soup. I then had the muscles in a white wine sauce and my husband had the beef bourguignon. For dessert my husband had a cappuccino and we shared the creme brulee which was delicious almost like a candy topping on top. I would highly recommend Escargot Bistro, but I would suggest you definitely call and make reservations, the restaurant is small and I'm sure it's much busier as the week goes on. Thank you Sarah we had a great time! Nancy Kelly, Pompano Beach

Yelp
Under new ownership but still traditional French cuisine and friendly service. The menu remained mostly the same with soup, salad, sandwiches, crepes and more decadent options. We came on a Sunday for brunch and the cafe was packed by 1 PM. It gets a little warm inside but they have a plastic fan running behind the bar. We started with the traditional garlic butter escargot and it was delicious. Lots of butter oil for dipping and the garlic baguette pieces were nicely toasted. The crab cake was a good sharing appetizer. Densely packed with breading and some crab meat. My Mille feuile had great taste and a lot of escargot pieces but the flaky pastry part was not as fluffy as I liked and it was weighed down but by butter which made it a bit too rich. It was like a sponge oozing out oil. The bed of greens helped cut through it a bit. My husband loved his steak frites. My dad's dish was not what we expected at all. It was more of an eggs Benedict description but came out like a soup. It had a pot of cheese pieces inside but the poached egg was a little on the raw side and with the garlic butter, it was mostly a gooey wet soupy mess inside. I think the consistency and the mix of flavors threw me off.

Yelp
Stephane does an amazing job of transporting his guests literally to a small cafe in France. The specials tonight included lemon Sole...! But I couldn't resist the lamb shank. One in our party had foie gois...best ever. Another had the crepe cordon bleu. Enough to share for 2-3 ... o nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc complimented the meal perfectly. The parking can be a challenge. The front lot is small and another restaurant shares the space but there's more in the back. Best to Uber. We skipped dessert this time but the creme brulee can't be beat. Until next time!!! Cheers

Yelp
Has become one of my favorite restaurants. Owners, food just perfect with service. Little jewel for us. Never disappointing

Yelp
Our friends visiting from Naples recommended this hidden gem. We got there at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and we had the entire place for ourselves for the first hour or so, then a couple of tables filled up. Very calm and quiet experience. The services by the young lady (I forgot her name) was super friendly and to the point, good suggestions and gave us plenty of space to talk and enjoy. The quality of the food was superb, good portions and very tasty. The whole experience was great, we felt like part of the family and we will be back soon...

Yelp
Fort Lauderdale - Recently had lunch at this gem for the first time. Authentic, generous and delicious. Just go.

Yelp
Nestled in the heart of Oakland Park, Florida, Escargot Bistro offers a delightful family dining experience with a classic ambiance that exudes warmth and comfort. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an atmosphere of quiet sophistication, perfect for a casual yet refined meal. Let's start with Stephan, the owner, whose hospitality sets the tone for the entire dining experience. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness make guests feel welcome and appreciated. Not only does he provide excellent service, but his recommendations also ensure that every dish exceeds expectations. For starters, the Escargot tradition is a must-try, offering a delightful combination of savory flavors with a hint of garlic, served fresh and indulgent. Moving on to the main course, the Foie gras de canard poëlé aux pommes is a standout dish, featuring perfectly pan-seared duck liver complemented by a rich red wine sauce infused with raspberry vinegar. The side of sautéed peaches with brandy adds a touch of sweetness, while the potato au gratin and grilled goat cheese complete the dish with finesse. Another highlight is the Moules Mariniere, a classic rendition of mussels cooked in a Loire Valley white wine sauce, bursting with savory goodness. The Le Classic Steak Frites, featuring a tender Top Sirloin Steak topped with a flavorful bleu cheese sauce and served with perfectly crisp French fries, is a true crowd-pleaser. Overall, our dining experience at Escargot Bistro was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was executed with precision, showcasing the chef's mastery of French cuisine. Whether you're a fan of escargot, seafood, or steak, there's something on the menu to satisfy every palate. With such impeccable food and service, it's no wonder that we're already planning our next visit. Escargot Bistro has undoubtedly earned a spot on our list of favorite dining destinations in Oakland Park.

Yelp
Had one of my favorite people come into town today and I went to visit them. As my BD is coming up, they treated me to lunch at this magnificent restaurant! This is all our 1st time here. So quaint & personable! The owner (Stephane) is the one who catered to us while his wife is the who cooks 'chief'. Yes that's right! They are so pleasant great hospitality! Which not to many restaurants I've encountered have it! Food was absolutely delicious! We loved it all! Experience was one of my best yet! Will take the drive just not only to support but for delicious food! "Sè Magnifique'!

George G.

Yelp
Friends recommended this restaurant for a birthday celebration! It did not disappoint! I had the French Onion Soup followed by the duck! Desert was an almond cake with homemade vanilla ice cream! Will definitely be back to try other offerings!

Pat R.

Yelp
My expectations were high--and they were not fulfilled. Everything was just a little "off". Food was too salty and just not incredibly interesting. Has potential and maybe this was an off night, but...

George B.

Yelp
We were lucky to be guests at Escargot. I hadn't been there for a couple of years and I knew they had undergone an ownership change. I was delighted to find the same traditional French food, beautifully prepared with a very attentive and friendly staff. I had a delicious Grilled Foie gras, accompanied by potatoes au gratin. my dining companions each had the duck à l'orange which they thoroughly enjoyed Desert, a flan with a crunchy glaze, was superb! We will definitely go back, and soon.

Yelp
Have been here a few times and I can't say bough. Hubby works the front while his amazing wife works the kitchen. Everything is freshly made each day and the service is always amazing. The atmosphere is bistro meets elegance meets simplicity and it all equals perfection. You are made to feel like family from the minute you walk in and it's no wonder they have repeat clients. It's intimate so you may want to call ahead for reservations, especially for dinner. This time we went for lunch and took advantage of the Winter lunch menu where you can get an appetizer, main course and dessert for under $30. You heard that right. I started with the Escargot Au Gratin. Bechamel, mushrooms, escargot and greens. I have to pause for a moment of silence here......just yes, yes, yes. My mom had the French onion soup and there's a reason that you want to get this at a French restaurant. Homemade broth, cheese perfectly melted and just enough bread at the bottom. Perfect ratio on all as you get cheese through the last slurp. Next up is the main course. I went with the sole with a creamy lemon sauce (they also had a vermouth sauce which I look forward to trying next time). The dish comes with some yellow, seasoned rice, steamed veggies and a beautiful cauliflower purée. It was as delicious as it was beautiful. Mom had the Crepe Ooo La La and that's exactly what she said after the first bite. Beautiful fresh salad with bright greens, a perfect crepe filled with chicken, spinach, mushrooms, bechamel and a gorgeous sauce within. It was delicate and filling. Ooo La La is the perfect name for this dish. We move on to dessert and have the crème brûlée. The perfect crackle as you break through that sugary crust and the creme underneath is just refreshing and lovely. It's light and the perfect ending to our meal. They have wine, champagne and make a mean Kir Royal (IYKYK). At the end, you will get a card with a QR code. Scan it and sign up for the updates as the specials change and they have seasonal specials. This is the best kept secret in all of Ft Lauderdale and a local favorite. I cannot recommend Escargot enough. Thank you for always giving us a beautiful, fresh, delicious meal with kind and attentive service.

Shari S.

Yelp
Cute little bistro off the beaten path. The onion soup was amazing very layered and flavorful. The escargot was excellent , the best we have had. I ordered a crepe and it was just so so. Perhaps I ordered wrong. This issue I had was with the service. I guess the owner is the only waiter. There were 6 tables and they needed another server. Bread was not offered, water glasses not filled, more wine not offered, very very slow service. I wanted to try one of their homemade desserts but I didn't because I figured it would add on another 45 minute to a 2 hour dinner. Note really worth the drive again from Delray.

Gillian C.

Yelp
Went again, this time with five others for my sister's birthday lunch. Everyone loved it. I had the traditional escargot appetizer, and then I had Sole with an almondine sauce that was spectacular. One person had escargot quiche, and another a Caesar with chicken, and someone had Quiche Lorraine. The owner was there for us to answer any menu questions and he does much of the serving too. He's so congenial. I will go back, for sure. I must try the chocolate crepes, if I ever save room for them. Unfortunately it's in Ft Lauderdale and I live in West Palm, but it's worth the trip for a grand lunch (and I assume a very grand dinner)!

Yelp
This is a quaint restaurant off Commercial Blvd in Oakland Park. We came with friends and had a great time. The food was enjoyed by all. Our meals consisted of Lemon Sole, Lamb Shank and a Quiche Escargot. The salads were excellent also. All the desserts are made by the servers mother in house.

Michael M.

Yelp
Great escargot. Perfectly crispy skinned duck l'orange. Steak frites not as good as those items but got the job done. Fries delicious

Eric N.

Yelp
Very good service and great food. Lunch is reasonably priced. Highly recommend Escargo.

Yelp
Went here via the recommendation of a local, and it did not disappoint. I truly quaint and fried restaurant tucked away and hidden from view unless you know to look for it.. The inside was dark, cozy, and had all the elements of a homey French restaurant. It was run by a husband and wife team and the husband was our server. His French accent and pronunciations were endearing and his recommendations were spot on. We had an array of appetizers including the namesake escargot and there were no scraps left. Many of us ate a variation of the steak with fries. Our server recommended the pepper sauce and it was smothered all over my steak and made a great addition when soaked with the fries, too. I envied my coworkers who got the steak escargot because it plated more beautifully than mine and obviously a second chance at eating escargot. My steak was tender and was more of a texture of a filet than a sirloin. The only complaint of the whole meal was the fries reminded me of fast food fries rather than upscale French restaurant. (Locally in Omaha we have a French restaurant that serves thicker, seasoned truffle fries with their steak dish and it is excellent!) Once I finished I had literally no room for dessert even though the 3 we ordered looked phenomenal! Service was good, food was good- what's not to love?!

Camille L.

Yelp
What a wonderful neighborhood gem! I Came here with my friend. Had no idea this place existed. This a family owned and run, true French style cooking. Pretty good wine list, all types of quiches and escargot. I saw steak tartare on the menu and I was sold. I ordered it the day prior. This was the first in a long time I was excited about eating somewhere new. We ordered the Swiss cheese and champignon escargot, steak tartare and entrecot w/ frites. Everything was delicious. Even their fries were better than anywhere I have been to in a while. Service was great, ambiance very welcoming. I'll be talking about this place for a while. Highly recommended.

Kasey C.

Yelp
Serving lunch and dinner. Service was lovely and helpful. Quality entrees with delicious weekly specials, priced very reasonably for the portions, and a nice quiet intimate setting. The escargot was spot on!! You will be surprised at the range of options from salads, soup, sandwiches to full entrees. About 10 tables inside so check website for times and maybe call ahead if you have a larger party. Bistro is tucked to the right corner, but not super obvious if your looking on google maps. Took me a couple of passes. Parking in the small strip center. The food was delicate, flavorful and a wonderful option for eating local. I was by myself for lunch and ordered more than I realized. Portions very ample. I highly recommend the Escargot Bistro.

Christopher D.

Yelp
We had two appetizers and two main courses and everything was DELICIOUS. The service was great as well. We will be back

Julie F.

Yelp
We came here for dinner with friends and had a very good experience. Frankly, the guys' choice of food was slightly better than the gals. But that was fine. We certainly were not complaining. We had very good service from the owners' son -- and he also explained that his mom makes all the desserts. Our friends began with some onion soup and one of the escargot offerings. Sorry, I didn't get the exact name, but his escargot had accompanying artichoke hearts on top of a salad. My husband's escargot dish had an egg in it and béchamel sauce. He said it was rich and delicious! Both of the gals had the duck a l'orange. The crispy duck is pretty plain so the sauce was a perfect add on. There was cauliflower purée and mixed veggies on the plate, too. Our friend's lamb shank was outstanding -- fall off the bone in a deep brown sauce over couscous. But I thought my husband's dish -- one of the nightly specials -- was extraordinary. He had their steak Rossini. Two large thick medallions of the tenderest beef sirloin topped with fois gras. And all covered with a truffled sauce. OMG! That was heaven. For dessert, we shared their chocolate cake and a tarte tatin (apples). It's not quite like being in a cafe in Paris, but it's as close as you can get in Fort Lauderdale. Looking forward to returning again for many other delicious entrees. Bon appetit!

Bryan R.

Yelp
Place was amazing, perfect 5 stars!!! I had the sole with a lobster bisque reduction, and cauliflower soufflé. Do I need to say more lol! It was beyond delicious. Bravo to the owners and staff, the service was amazing along with ALL their food. We also had the steak tartare, one of the best I've ever had anywhere, EVER!

Dale H.

Yelp
Nice, not amazing, but a return trip worthy. The AC was out so I predict a significant improvement on my next return.

Yelp
J'adore Escargot Bistro...Oui oui oui! What's not to love? French cuisine needs no introduction....it is world renown, the culinary standard. Tucked away in a tight strip off of....lies this gem, Escargot Bistro. What might seem like an inconspicuous little restaurant is instantly brought to life the moment owner Didier greets you! What can be more authentic than a French owner, the french owners wife as the chef de cuisine, and an all French wait staff? Not the "I've been living in America for 30 years" kind either. This is full blown, French accent, French humor, and the French pride of cooking on full display. The menu can only be described in one word...classic. Every single menu item has long been a mainstay in classic French cuisine. From the French onion soup, to the escargot, and carnard(duck) a l'orange...it's all there. Some of the highlights: French onion soup- a hearty bowl of onion filled broth topped with easily the best Swiss cheese I've ever had. Something tells me they didn't get this cheese at the local grocery store. Lamb shank- this is more like a dinosaur shank! The lamb is melt of the bone and absolutely delicious. The portion size is unreal. I've never seen so much meat on a single bone. I was able to eat 60% of it before throwing in the towel. In all my years, I've never felt so defeated at a dinner table. It cannot be understated how welcoming and engaging Didier makes his guests feel. I've been to Paris many times over and I cant ever recall having a meal this good while there. Easily one of the most authentic experiences South Florida has to offer as far as French cuisine.

Caroline C.

Yelp
Small intimate setting with fabulous food! Loved the beef bourgignon,, duck, escargot!

Karen N.

Yelp
My friend and I came for lunch. If you arrive at noon, you may not have an issue with reservations. However, when it's after 1pm, it fills up. There are 8 tables. A few were 2 seaters and the rest are 4. My friend loved her traditional escargot. I got the price fixed lunch. I wanted to get the French Onion Soup because I compare it to one that is made at another restaurant. It was ok. Our server asked for my opinion and I told him the truth. My entree was the Crepe Olala with a side salad. I hope they weren't offended that I didn't eat any of the salad and only a few bites of the crepe. There was a reason for this. As my friend and I enjoyed our white wine, I was waiting for the Crème Brûlée. You can really botch it up by not having real vanilla bean in it and I hope I wasn't being too much of a Karen by embarrassing my friend for asking our server if there are little black specks in it. He assured me it had black specks. This is where I'm going to rave...the dessert was so good that I ate the whole thing. I said to my friend, "You see, you know when I like something I devour the whole thing." Since the restaurant is small, make those reservations. There were other desserts on the menu and my plan is to come back, order all of the desserts, drink some wine and have a la fete.

Oxana S.

Yelp
Good selection of wine Great food Very attentive Family business Very pleasant place and touch of France in Florida

Elaine S.

Yelp
We've been here for Valentine's Day & a few other times . Last night, we went for Sunday night celebrating my birthday week. We enjoyed a bottle of reasonably priced French Red wine. We ordered Steak Frites with Escargots- never had that before- absolutely fantastic!!! I would definitely order that again!!! For dessert I had cream brûlée' & my husband had one of the special desserts with ice cream & chocolate. We we're blown away how delicious they both were & had a couple of cappuccino's as well!!! Always consistently - one of the best French restaurants we've been to. See you again- soon!

Rhea H.

Yelp
Outstanding food. Amazing little restaurant. Can't wait to return!!! We could have been in Cannes.

Ronni G.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Escargot , fish, fresh vegetables and sauce you could lick your plate !! Service was prompt informative and gracious. Very small place and welcoming. Great place to go for a very special meal

Meganne M.

Yelp
Phenomenal dining experience! The food was reasonably priced and a five star experience for lunch! I highly recommend trying real French cuisine

Adam C.

Yelp
Hidden in a corner of yet another South Florida strip mall you will find Escargot Bistro. This is probably as authentic French as you will find around town. I had the grouper with a delicious sauce. The warm goat cheese salad was a good start. This is a relatively small restaurant that has a homey feel despite its strip mall exterior. Service was excellent and you will find a number of dedicated regulars. This is hard to beat if you want some Paris without the flight.

Heather A.

Yelp
The food and service was great! The owner took care of me and was very happy and informative.

Bill D.

Yelp
They play French music here-- mostly dark and contemplative songs of love and philosophy. So I made up my own French song about this incredible restaurant: Where have you been? My palate has loved and lost, But I always return to thoughts of you. Trout almandine delicate and nutty, Soupe à l'oignon rich and full of depth. All the descriptors for my food are descriptors of you. Coffee warm and rich, Wine nuanced and complex, I keep returning to the bottle always wanting more. I would ride a thousand miles for another taste of this place, I would give away my car just to have a seat at this table. But there's one thing I wouldn't give up, and that is you. Maybe I'll copyright it. All jokes aside, there were certain points where I had to hold my napkin in front of my face so no one could see the tears in my eyes at this restaurant. This is a Fort Lauderdale gem. Vivre Escargot Bistro!

Tony W.

Yelp
The air conditioning unit was not functioning properly. Rather than telling us they acted as if it was going to cool down. Summer time means it was very uncomfortable. Will not return.

Aja N.

Yelp
Excellent food & service!! It has a lot of French dining options. The food is pretty rich, but really delicious. I love the mom n pop small venue.

Ruben C.

Yelp
Just an amazing experience. Great food and service. The menu selections are truly French.

Blaise O.

Yelp
The food is spectacular! Real French food. I had the Muscles and Fries..the sauce was incredible. I felt like I was in Paris. It is a family run restaurant, the service is wonderful. Everyone is so helpful and are happy to explain everything on the menu.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Run, don't walk. This is a true hidden gem. It's in a strip mall, tiny and simple but, the food and service will blow you away. If you're a steak tartare fan-this is a must. Call the day before to let them know you will be doing the steak tartare. It's prepared table side and with such precision yet a delicate hand, it's absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful bottle of wine-we tried a few different ones before choosing the final one. They were so accommodating and once we found the right one it was perfect. Our waitress was so sweet and explained every dish in a way that honestly made it hard to choose, because everything sounded amazing. My husband ordered the French onion soup to start and it had such an intense depth of flavor, I kept going back for another spoonful (and it's not normally even a soup I love). We shared the oeuf escargot-escargot with a poached egg, bechamel and mushrooms cooked in a little pot with warm crusty bread to dip. It was so decadent and delicious. I had the signature steak tartare and subbed a salad instead of fries and it was perfection. Even the 3 different dressings for the salad were divine. My husband had the lamb shank with couscous and veggies and he ate every last morsel of meat off the bone. We ended with a perfect chocolate mousse. I'm serious here, I'm not easy to please with restaurants because I am a personal chef, but this was amazing. My ONLY regret is not coming with more ppl, because I honestly wanted to try so many things on the menu. Please please give this place some love, because it's an obscure area and I think they don't get as much business as they deserve. 10/10 and will absolutely be back

Erin M.

Yelp
The crème brûlée was so good and so was the rest of the lunch. I actually tried escargot for the first time and it was actually really good. The place was very busy for lunch on Saturday and reservations would need to be made. We watched them turn people away because they did not have a reservation. I highly recommend going to lunch here!

Javier G.

Yelp
Go here every year for our anniversary! Never disappoint, most authentic French cuisine. Always friendly and welcoming. Have the escargots it's what they're known for!!! The lamb is great too!

Shirley K.

Yelp
Very small, quaint restaurant. loved the atmosphere there are only about 10 tables but the food was divine. i just wish the parking wasnt so difficult, we had to drive around. Make sure to make a reservation.

Katie G.

Yelp
What a treat to dine at this lovely restaurant! My husband and I dined in for lunch yesterday and had a wonderful time. We had been to Paris and had fallen in love with French food & bistros during our trip but hadn't found anything similar in the states. That is- until yesterday. Didier and Andrea have truly created something special and when you visit this restaurant, you are transported to France. We got the Mille Feuilles D'escargots and Carrot soup to start and they were both incredible. (I could have gotten a gallon of the soup!!!) We also got the Voltaire Sandwich and Pate which were both great as well. (The portion on the sandwich was huge!!!) This restaurant is fantastic and deserving of the high praise. Bravo and Merci Didier et Andrea!

Lauren R.

Yelp
So after reading about Escargot Bistro, we were finally able to get the family together. It was so wonderful, just delectable. We scoured the menu so many times before even arriving. There were 7 of us. It is owned by a French couple and their son. The son was our server. He was personable, funny and got all of our orders right. They even had specials that weren't on their menu. We tried a few. Everything was phenomenal from the appetizers, entrees, desserts and coffee. Names of dishes in the captions. Of course the owners knew about this page. They smiled when we mentioned it. Such a quaint place which is rare nowadays. Not pictured, French Onion Soup, the Brie in a puffed pastry with fruit, Steak frittas, baskets of unlimited delicious French bread, pear cake which had the consistency of bread pudding and was a special that night, warm goat cheese with honey crepe and lastly a banana split that my dad says was the highlight. I have seen this said many times on this page and now i understand, the food that was not pictured was so scrumptious, we ate it and then remembered we didn't get a pic. ‍

Gloria M.

Yelp
Lovely small French restaurant, wonderful in every way. The meals were spot on. Service was welcoming and friendly.

Mario C.

Yelp
I was craving French food (we live in Puerto Vallarta) and so whilst here, looked for such a restaurant. We found this and decided to try it. We had the lunch special... appetizer and main. My husband selected the escargot au gratin and the chicken pasta; I had the soupe à l'oignon gratinée and the crèpe Ho-la-la with a bottle of the Sancerre. The flavours were well-balanced, the soup not too salty, and the sauces very interesting. The maître d' was friendly and knowledgeable. A great experience and good value for the food. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Don't walk RUN to this restaurant. It's not in the greatest location, so you have to look past that and get over it. This beautiful little spot is hands down the best food I've had in South Florida since I moved here 7 years ago. I'm not joking. It's so good that I can't wait to go back and try something else. You feel like you've been transported to a small country house in France the moment you walk in the door. Family owned and operated, and they are really nice people. The owners welcomed us like we've been going there forever. If your tastebuds want an experience, look no further. I can't say enough good things about this place. Bon appetite!
