"Air travel is notoriously tough on the body, so whether you're coming, going, or killing a few hours during a layover, Sha Wellness Clinic’s mini-outposts in Madrid-Barajas Airport’s terminals 4 and 4S are where you want to be. Facials, massages, blowouts, and mani/pedi services can be scheduled to take up as little as 15 minutes and as long as 60, depending on how much time you can spare. Just as valuable as the quickie treatment menu is the built-in health food café, which offers the option to eat in or take the vegetarian wraps, soups, salads, and smoothies on board."

Good vegan wrap: tofu with sea algae, was quite small so i had to eat two. Prices high as usual for any airport. Only one vegan option. Ginger kombucha! Fruit smoothies freshly made.

I went in for a “relaxing massage” for 15 minutes and it was excruciating. There was no consultation or response to my squirming when putting too much pressure for what I could handle throughout the massage. I just had a long travel to Jerusalem and was in the way home and was hoping for something very relaxing, but this was very painful. I also heard her snickering at some point during the massage. Not sure what that was about.

I have no idea how they manage appointments because there are always people standing around, and they never have availability. Today I was told to come back in 40 minutes for a manicure; when I did, they said it would be another 30 minutes. In an airport! Guess what? I had a flight to catch so couldn't... This has happened a few times - I won't be trying again.

I had a pedicure with nail polish after, i was a bit sceptical in the beginning and i had all the reasons to be. Firt i had to put my feeth in a bath that wasn’t clean, neither her material was clean. She cut my nails way to short, now i will have ingrown nails, she didn’t clean the edges of the toenail and hurted me, the nailpolish was all over the place and the result was horrible. And totally overpriced

6.50 euros for a natural smoothie and they give me the one they have on display. Not good! You don’t get a pre-made late at Starbucks. 6.50 euros por in licuado natural y me dan uno que ya está hecho.

Bad gel manicure. Not thorough in cleaning, nails too short, polish doesn’t look good and she rushed through so my nails weren’t dry (shellac) and they’re smudged.

Nice to have a fresh juice place in an airport. I tried the Esenza Sunrise (carrot, apple, ginger - I think). It was freshly made and prepared to order. The juice itself was ok, nothing special. Mostly giving it a higher rating due to having access to fresh juice in an airport setting.

This place is great. Had several hours to kill before two long haul flights, so stopped in for a 25 minute foot massage and a fresh juice (carrot, ginger, apple). The two women working were very attentive and made me feel at home. If you get a foot massage you'll sit in a massage chair while they do it which felt great on a sore back. They have other services (manicure/pedicure, back massage, etc) as well as other fresh food & bev items to order. Overall a sight for sore eyes after a long weekend of travel.
