Eskimo Hut - Frozen Daiquiris To-Go

So so soo bummed. Ordered online and spent 35 dollars and left a tip too just to get home and find our large sized drinks literally 3/4 full. Called and the guy on the phone, Dustin, did not gaf 😭 Told me I could drive back and have them remade but I already drove 30 mins there and back. Didn't offer even a partial refund. So incredibly annoying, wish I had asked for my money back

I've been a regular customer the last couple of months and usually spend between $50 to $100. I found out a couple of days ago that they're now charging a 3% fee on credit card purchases, which I won't be using again. I don't keep much cash on me, which means I will be limiting my purchases. In addition, today I was told that due to trump not making pennies they may not be able to give you all your change, so if they owe you 2 cents, they won't be able to give it to you due to the shortage, but if it's 3 cents or more they round up so you may get a nickel. WTH!! Makes no sense & sounds illegal. Think its time I look for alternatives! Very disappointed.

I drove 5 miles to try Eskimo Hut for the first time and picked up a gallon of daiquiris. There aren’t many options around, so I was hopeful—but overall, I left disappointed. The gallon is already on the pricey side, and when you add extra shots (which should increase the volume), I expected to get at least a full gallon or more. Instead, with the bag they used, I only received 112 oz—well short of a gallon (128 oz). That feels misleading, and frankly, like I got shorted. For the price, it’s not worth it. First and last time for me. Just be aware and double-check what you’re actually getting.

I think I'm in love. Where has this place been all my life?! What better on Texas summer days than sitting by the pool with an adult slushy! Staff is always friendly and nonjudgmental of my frequent visits!

The store doesn’t have liquor license . The daiquiris are horrible. I’ve never tasted anything like it. Brought two daiquiris different flavors and they both tastes the same. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.

This place is awesome! We (3 of us) stopped here just after lunch today so we could take some drinks home and hang out and the customer service was awesome. We went around 3pm and the guys at this location are really informative and awesome. Drinks are flavorful and delicious! Thank you again! We’ll be back for sure!

Great place! Took home some daiquiris they were on point! They close at 11. Close to home. I'll be back. They also sell a great selection of beers :-)

I recently ordered some drinks from Eskimo Hut and had them delivered through DoorDash. I opted for an Extra Large Margarita on the Rocks and a Tequila Sunrise. Both drinks arrived impressively fast, within 10 minutes. However, the taste was disappointing. The margarita had a very artificial flavor--one of the fakest margarita mixes I've ever tasted. It was overwhelmingly sour without any other distinguishable flavor. The Tequila Sunrise was similarly unpleasant, resembling a poorly made wine cocktail from Walmart that someone tried unsuccessfully to make palatable. Neither taste like the have any resemblance of alcohol. While I appreciate the quick delivery, I can't recommend these cocktails unless you're someone who just turned 21 and want to feel like you're living it up with daiquiris. Unfortunately, the quality of these drinks is reflective of their low price.

SHORT STORY Was visiting a friend and did a search for daiquiri and Eskimo Hut was the closet place so decided to check it out. Daq was good had a good amount of alcohol in it, nothing extraordinary. Prices are reasonable too! I honestly should've gotten 2 or a larger size. They got Combos LONG STORY I'm always skeptical of trying "to go" daiquiris in other places outside Louisiana but Eskimo didn't disappoint. I got the Fuzzy Memory Daq Combo with (cherry peach mango). It was good in sweet but not like that nasty syrupy too sweet like the knock off daqs but just really good like juice to the point you forget it's alcohol in it. There was a good amount of alcohol inside enough for a good feel. I'm not sure if the place gets packed but I went around 3 or 4pm on a Friday afternoon and there was 4 people inside , however Google maps said "kinda busy". It is To Go and they put the daqs in a bag. They also had buku Jell-O shots in the fridge and other beverages as well. Drink Responsibly

What an awesome novelty concept! The staff here was very helpful and friendly. SHOT SPECIALS: Tuesdays (3 for 1) and Wednesdays (2 for 1) JELLO/GUMMIES SPECIAL: Thursdays (50% off packages). I got at least one of each for the jello/gummies. They offered watermelon, cherry, ocean breeze, and green apple for the Jell-O shots and for the gummies - peach rings, gummy worms, gummy bears, and sour gummies. I really enjoyed all the Jell-O shot flavors and the peach ring gummies. The other gummies had either a weird texture from absorbing the alcohol or wasn't my preference.

Great place to be. I love the energy, I love how fast the service is. For snack food there were a lot of options of chips. Some of them I've never heard of. If you are a person like me that loves to play around with flavors do it. peach lemonade with the sour kick is my all time favorite. Have to remind myself not to drink on property. The drink is sooo refreshing.

Still my go to for delish daqs! They get you in and out fast. They also have alcoholic gummy bears and Jell-O shots!

Nothing special. I've been to other daiquiri spots in Austin and this one was my least favorite so far. Service was slower than molasses and there weren't a lot of people to serve, not sure what the staff was doing back there but it shouldn't take 10-15 minutes for a couple of premixed drinks. Could hardly taste any alcohol, and the Jell-O shot, or gummy or what ever they gave my friend was not good. Dude offered it like it was going to be on the house then he goes and charges me for it. Whatever. There's a better daiquiri spot east of 35 inside of Sam's BBQ and 11 Degrees has better flavor options. Check 'em out!

The Eskimo Hut has been our go-to for to-go daqs for a while now! They are by far the best, and strongest in Austin with endless flavor combinations and great add-in choices! The store also has a great selection of beer as well, and their gummies and jello shots are delicious! The online ordering system is great, and ensures our order is ready to go without any hassle and gets us on our way quickly! The staff has always been super friendly, and I have never been in there when there wasn't at least a small line.

Found this place randomly (had finished skating outdoors with friends) and their frozen alcoholic slushies are AMAZING. Super smooth not overly sweet, and really, really yummy. Highly recommend.

Someone should have warned me not to go here. Two different flavors both takes like nyquil. Highly dissatisfied.

The lady that took my order was so sweet. It was also my first time there. She was patient and answered any questions I had. Plus on Wednesday they extra shots so the drinks are strong :).

There's nothing like a refreshing daiquiri after a long day in the Texas heat or any day really lol! They have so many flavors to choose from and the Jell-O shots are a treat. We come here often... the last time, I got a watermelon with the triple shot of vodka added (don't judge me). It was so good! Also try the boozy candy. The peach-oh's are my fave!

I'll make this quick and simple: Tons of flavors to choose from! Cheap! Nice staff. Extra shots only $1.50. No nasty hangover in the morning like at other Daquiri spots. Moes original is BOMB and pretty to look at while sipping! 5 stars. The end.

Dacquiris to go. Say no more. I Bought a gallon of something with watermelon and adouble shot tequila. That was a couple days ago and I still got it in my freezer. Good Dacquiris . Great idea for tailgating, picnics, house parties or just by yourself. I co-sign Eskimo Hut.

This place is pretty cool as in ice cool. They've got a great selection of can/bottle drinks and they've got an endless combination of slushy drinks. The only problem with this place is the frozen drinks take too long to drink. They're frozen so they don't go thru the straw as fast as I'd like. The prices are also only alright. If you go on triple shot Tuesday or double shot Wednesday it's a good deal but you could definitely get your moneys worth drinking something else. It's definitely an interesting concept but it's just a bunch of sugary slushees. This place is great if you want a slushy but if you're a real drinker you know what's up.

No need to travel to the Artic for cold and frozen-Eskimo Hut has you covered! There's more flavor and color drink combinations than you could dream up, even if it was on one of those long 6-month nights up north! And there are multiple refrigerated cases of beer and other beverages if daiquiries and pina coladas aren't your jam. It's a quick, easy, delicious stop. Parkas not required.

Came here on a Sunday and was surprised they were open! My heroes on a much needed fun drink Sunday when all liquor stores are closed. Walked in and a friendly, smiling face greeted me. I let her know it was my first time there and Jodee behind the counter gave me the whole scoop on all their flavors and the most popular ones. She sure knows her stuff! I went ahead and asked for a blue coconut flavored one (sorry I don't remember the name). She went ahead and quickly filled my order and I was on my way. It was just perfect for a sunny Sunday after mowing my lawn. I really got to enjoy sipping on it while I sat on my hammock during quarantine minding my own. Will definitely be coming back. Prices are reasonable, size is perfect and flavor and amount of alcohol in it is just splendid. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of their flavors!

This place is a hidden gem for craft beer lovers in Northeast Austin. They have a wall of eight rotating taps that is as well-curated as anywhere in town. They almost always have something unusual and delicious that's hard to find on tap, like a seasonal Martin House or Lakewood Temptress variation. The prices on the draft beers are great, and there's something fun about taking a draft beer to go in a plastic pint with a straw, like a milkshake. I live within walking distance, so sometimes my wife and I will walk down there and walk back home with a beer (yes, it's legal to drink on the street in this part of town.) They also have a really great selection of cans and bottles, ranging from IPAs to Belgians to stouts, mostly featuring Texas breweries. I've repeatedly found 6-packs there that I've never seen anywhere else. I haven't actually tried the mixed-drink slushies, but I have bought some alcoholic gummies and jello shots when I was feeling ridiculous, and they were as good as you could expect. But really, the beer is where it's at here, IMO.

First, it's not a drive thru as a lot of other locations are. Now that that's out of the way, Jennie O. and I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of this place because it's conveniently located between where we live! Today just so happened to be that day! The original plan was a pool party, but a friend's housewarming party was the reason (and the opening day, of course) for our initial visit. A brand new building, everything is shiny and clean and new! They have a solid beer selection (both on draft and in cans/bottles), including a tasty honey vanilla wheat beer that can't be found anywhere else in Austin, currently! Oh, yeah. Frozen daiquiris. Served in cups in plastic bags for traveling. I tried the Berry Bomb (strawberry and raspberry) and I shouldn't have been surprised at the sweetness, but I felt the need to brush my teeth right away. Jennie had the PPD (strawberry, pina, and mai tai) and it was just as sweet, but had more actual/distinct flavor than mine did. They also have a variety of Jell-O shots and boozy gummy bears (all served in plastic bags, again, for traveling). The staff is friendly and helpful. There are also a couple tables (they could maybe fit a couple more) in case you want to have your beverages in house. I think. Long story short, Jennie and I were not disappointed. I definitely see this being a regular place for us.

Ughhh I love this place. I'm a fool for their soaked gummies. I can't get enough! The smilies are my FAVORITE. I really enjoy their drinks as well. Perfect for a day at the pool or a fun night with friends P:

Brand new location, newly built and I have been waiting for their opening for a very long time. With new machines, I knew their drinks would not have that wonky flavor so many fountain drinks have with those unclean spigots. I was not disappointed! I walked in and saw a line as I was not the only one to notice they finally opened. The gentleman taking orders was very nice and explained how the hole thing worked, considering these are alcoholic drinks to go. They have a huge variety of margarita flavors to choose from as well as some cold draft beer, a huge variety of beer in their cooler, jello shots, and gummy bear shots. They also offer daily deals which are cheap and good. Between the delicious drinks and awesome customer service - I will be back!

I really liked this place. I ordered a medium Becky With The Good Hair (Peach and Sour Lemon favor). The cashier let us know that the drinks were 117% alcohol before adding any extra shots. I didn't add any extra because I was concerned that the alcohol taste would be to strong. Turns out the alcohol taste wasn't overpowering but the drink was strong enough! It got be pretty tipsy. :-) Not only were the drinks delicious but the atmosphere was pretty lively as well (thanks to the background music). They have two tables set up to sit. The place is really small but hopefully they can add another table or two in the future. When I visited I sat at one of the tables and enjoyed my drink. The only thing I felt was missing was a few snacks. Maybe they can add some in the future. Overall it was a great experience and I'm ready to go back!

Used to be my go to spot. Just down the road from me. They used to have a great selection of local craft beers, but it seems to be dwindling each day. The daiquiris are good. One thing however, most of the staff are brutal. I don't think they should be in customer service. One time the lady at the till was wearing her hoodie with the hood pulled tight the whole time. It's like buying beer from depressed teenagers. Basically get ignored until you make the payment. Not a big deal, but learning to enjoy the job might help and give your customers a better experience. Just my opinion

Prices are reasonable and they appear to have a variety. However the frozen drinks are not that great. They don't taste good and I ended up not finishing mine. Would not recommend this place. I was expecting better tasting drinks on my Saturday night.

I freakin' LOVE this place. They make some amazing frozen concoctions and I think everyone should try it at some point. I have had a few different flavors but my favorites are blue lagoon and ppd. I totally recommend to everyone. P.S. they sell beer, wine, etc, and there are specials on certain nights of the week. Triple shot Tuesday I believe is one of the best if you are wanting to get a little extra boozy

Tasty to-go alcoholic frozen beverages on a Sunday. Do I need to say anything else? Great service and you can add shots if you need an extra kick. Staff is A+

I went here to get drinks before heading to Driftwood for the Salt Lick. The main drink that they sell are their frozen daiquiris (and they are delicious)! They have a ton of flavors. You can mix and match flavors or get one flavor. They also have flavor combinations made up as well. All of their frozen daiquiris are put into to-go bags and are made fresh. The daiquiri drinks contain 17% alcohol to begin with but you can add shots of your choice if you wish to do that. The customer service was amazing. They also sell other alcohol like beer and wine. They also make alcoholic gummy candies.

Unbelievably the most convenient place to fill your liquor cravings. Not for the faint of heart as they do not skimp on the liquor.. Love it!!

Service was poor, items were overpriced, and the store was very dirty. I would not recommend. There are a ton of other places in Austin where you can get much better frozen drinks.

This place great, through in rum vodka whiskey and tequila in a Scooby snack yo taste like them orange creamsicles through a straw.

Great service. Clean store. Daiquiris (Delilah's fire and Hypnotical) were strong but the flavors were muddled. Prices were decent. ~$20 for 2 large daiquiris.

Been a fan of this spot since my oldest attended Baylor and it was the GO TO back then. Was super excited when I reloed to Austin and found this GOLD MIND!! Will definitely be the local hot spot from now on!!

This review is for my husbands experience. He went to go buy a drink and when he got home it was nothing but syrup and ice. He had to drive another 25 mins back for a new drink that should have been right the first time. When he told the lady about his drink she responded "so what took you so long to come back" First of all when they give us the drinks they use a sealed bag since it's alcohol. Customers are not able to see if their drink is correct until they get home. That was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. WOULD NOT COME BACK. This place clearly needs to train their employees on how to talk to customers.

Great place :) reasonable prices especially if you go on the days they have specials. So many options to choose from. Always looking for an excuse to go up North to stop by here, please open a south Austin location :)

I absolutely love these things. They taste great! They're great while traveling. The liter size bags are the best. I've had the Pina Colada, Orange-sickle, Banana, & the Pina Colada + Coconut. You can freeze them at home too & use whenever you want also. Definitely will buy these again. I highly recommend. We need these to come to Arkansas. I've only seen them in TX. & OK.

This is GENIUS! Everything here is great from the service all the way to the bottom of the cup! Try the bevo punch......its the BEST!

Heard about this spot from someone who mentioned a spot where u get frozen drinks to go... the menu is extensive.. but was recommended the "what , what" or the "wet, wet". What ever it was called was delish. Great way to beat the heat with an adult drink. Highly recommend. The Jell-O shots are good and the "drunken" gummy bears are great.

Great selections and the peach rings (2 for 1 on Thursday)are worth trying! You will be back.

I had first been to an Eskimo Hut location in San Antonio so I was so excited when I saw they opened a location in Austin. You can order daiquiris and margaritas to go with a lot of different flavor options. They also have beer coolers if you prefer beer.
