The 20 Best Restaurants in Seville, Spain

"Hidden behind the Basílica de Jesús del Gran Poder, Eslava serves elevated Andalusian tapas and seems to be perpetually full of tourists and locals. The restaurant has rightfully won awards for many of its offerings, including the huevo sobre bizcocho de boletus y trufa (egg yolk over a truffle mushroom cake), but the honey rosemary pork ribs also deserve your utmost attention." - Megan Lloyd

I was there last Friday, the place was super busy and I didn’t expect to be able to eat there. However, I still asked and, as soon as I did, they were like: “Sure, no worries, we always have space at the bar”. 30 seconds later, I already had a beer in my hands and everything kept going better and better. When I feel like I can trust the staff, I always ask them to choose the dishes for me, and to bring whatever is tastier. I loved that they had no doubt on what to make me taste, and got me the 3 best tapas on the menu. And they were all unbelievable. I felt extremely welcomed and happy. I can’t wait to be back :)

I think its important for future customers to have his information if you are renting the penthouse suite. The suite and the amenities are very good. There was one problem|When we arrived we naturally wanted to access the patio. We opened the door and the two top hinges fell off. It took us 10 minutes of struggle to put the door back on. During that time the AC stopped as that door was open. It was 44c outside. As I was writing Stay Unique to tell them about the problem. They had already sent information on the door and a short video of how you could hit the top of the other door to lock into place. We were promised that on Monday their would be a permanent fix. That never happened. So a pretty integral part of the rental was not available to us, because their was no way we would attempt to open a compromised door that could shut down the AC , especially in Sevilla in July. |Its a nice place in a great location but do due diligence before you rent the Penthouse.

I had great memories from my previous visit, so this was my second time here. This time, I made a reservation for dinner and brought my mom along. The food was still delicious and absolutely top-notch. Since my mom doesn't drink, I had a beer by myself. I'm not sure if it was because we didn't order that much, but... I was quite disappointed with the attitude of the server at the end of our meal. I used to recommend this place to my friends, but now I'm not so sure anymore...

Another great find that is slightly further out from the main area of shops and restaurants. There is tapas and there is good tapas, and this place is the latter. The deep fried anchovies were excellent but star of the show was the clams with garlic.

Very poor service… the waiter don’t care, forget menu, utensils…forgot their brain at home… tasteless cheap wine.. The food sucks. Multiple items not available. That egg dish is a joke. Looks like raw sewage and tastes like Campbell mushroom soup with some sweet syrup around it. That famous black squid ink thing… total comedy..it’s just long black tasteless playdoh fried with a weird white sauces places next to the tip… weird… bizarre… simply not food. Don’t lie to yourself. Perfect material for an episode of “kitchen nightmare”… overall pretentious, waiters with attitudes… don’t go… 0/10

Can only comment on the food at the restaurant, definitely worth a visit, food was delicious and the waiters were working hard to make your experience more enjoyable. We tried the razor clams, the croquettes, the ribs, the octopus, and pork tenderloin and everything was delicious 😋

This tapas place has been recommended to us by a friend. Our reservation was for 20:00 for inside. We arrived a bit earlier, place was a bit quite and we asked for a table outside, as the weather was beautiful. Very quickly we got service and ordered some drinks. Within 30mins there was a queue forming outside and the place filled up. We ordered quite a few dishes, as we heard they are amazing. And they were! I think the cigar was the most surprising dish. Full of flavour. The duck was delicious. I think those two dishes were the highlight, but all others followed closely. Wine recommendation was spot on. Our waiter was attentive considering how busy the place was. By the time we left all the tables were taken. During our meal, there was some commotion at the table behind. Group of four people seem to be complaining a bit, but one of them was in particular rude to the staff and sarcastically chatting between themselves about the duck dish not arriving on time. I presume it’s up to everyone’s state of mind as I could see two tables could have completely different experiences. We really enjoyed the ambiance, service and mostly the food. Had really lovely experience and definitely come back when I’m in Seville.

I wanted to love this spot and some of the dishes were definitely delicious (thumbs up to 5 out of 7). But the service was both rushed and lackluster compared to other places we ate in Spain and we ended up wishing we could have liked it more.
