We came here after watching the longhorn cattle drive at the Stockyards; with a fairly large group of 7, we were worried about being sat (indoors with the AC for sure lol). There wasn't any issue & they sat us immediately, which was a nice surprise. Our server was also excellent: attentive, funny, & just seemed like a really nice guy.
We each ordered a drink, I got a piña colada. The cocktails mostly came in huge goblet glasses, which was awesome, especially for the price! They were really tasty & refreshing.
Each of us also got a little dish of salsa & then baskets of chips for the table, which is how you can tell this was going to be a bomb meal.
I got Huevos rancheros & this was seriously some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The eggs were fresh, the refried beans were just incredible, & the potatoes were delicious. We all ate ourselves into a food coma because it was all so good that we couldn't help it lol. Toward the end of the meal, we also got 2 tortilla warmers full of fresh tortillas, which we ended up taking home because they were so so good.
At one point there was also a mariachi band, so that was super fun!
We were joking about moving into the restaurant & that feeling still stands! I'll 1000% be back to Fort Worth, if only for Esperanza's.
