The 10 Best All-You-Can-Eat Deals In SF - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"If you consider skewered meat a separate daily meal, make a beeline for Espetus in Hayes Valley. This Brazilian steakhouse serves at least a dozen cuts of meat that are carved tableside. Try to book ahead, since Espetus fills up fast. And for a slightly cheaper meal, go on a weekday." - julia chen 1, patrick wong

Google
The good is great. I loved the bacon wrapped fillet mignon. The cooked food bar is nice and have lots of variety. The service is great..the only down side is that it is a bit pricey per person so Go if you eat a lot of meat and you won't be disappointed.

Google
My first time at an experience like this. It was truly delicious and memorable. The side bar has lots of wonderful things for a seafood lover like me (baked salmon, paella, Cured salmon) supplemented by the shrimp on skewers. This is the card I made as thanks to the friends who invited us. ❤️

Google
Great Brazilian steakhouse experience! The service was attentive and friendly . The food quality was excellent. The steaks were juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. A bit pricey but worth it. What i recommend to try is the pudim and the tres leches dessert. They were delicious...Best to go is after 5pm for full experience and better menu options.

Google
Experience was incredible, one of the best we ever had. Host was incredible and had amazing service and a warm smile on his face. He recommended us a recipe he created, his spicy guava wings, tasted incredible! Staff were super friendly and well spoken, some of the best Brazilian BBQ we ever had with a large variety of meats. Meats were cooked to perfection and perfectly salted. My favorites were the pork belly and the picanha. Would highly recommend this place! Can't wait to come here again!

Will be going again. Went out with my brother to celebrate my birthday and everyone working 11/24 Monday night made everything amazing. Some of the best service ever!! And charcoal grilled meats that are so insanely good! Would recommend over and over again.

Google
Espetus in San Mateo offers a classic Brazilian steakhouse experience with a wide variety of expertly grilled meats, attentive service, and a lively atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious—especially the picanha, which was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The salad bar was also impressive, with plenty of fresh, high-quality sides to balance out the meats. However, there were a couple of things that took away from the experience. While I understand that constant table-side meat service is part of the rodízio tradition, I felt a bit rushed. Servers came by so frequently that I barely had time to enjoy what was already on my plate. I personally prefer a more relaxed dining pace, so the rapid-fire service felt a little overwhelming. Another important note: for a restaurant that charges around $100 per person, the restroom conditions were disappointing. One of the toilets was broken, and the bathrooms were noticeably dirty. For a place with this kind of reputation and price point, the facilities should reflect the same level of quality and care as the food and service. All in all, Espetus delivers on flavor and experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement in comfort and ambiance—especially if they want to maintain a premium reputation.

Google
The environment is chill and cozy. Plenty of choice for salad and meat! I love the salmon in salad bar. All the servers were so nice. I really like the roasted pineapple and all the meat were so tender and good. Chicken heart is a must have!!

Yelp
Meat was tender and juicy, cooked perfectly , it bring to your table as much as you want . Satisfied your craving from variety of meats , you have to start to a large self service salad bar but make sure save room for meats that bring to your table or start with meat to self service salad bar with variety of cheese, olives, cold cuts, appetizers, mango salad plantain ,and plenty of options aside from meats. Warm atmosphere. Friendly service, good vibes, feel home. Unique dining style and refined vibes, amazing to recommend for any occasions. I feel so blessed celebrated my 65 birthday. And I will always come back and recommend this place. Thank you so much to our server, sorry I forgot his name, and to all the staff. You did great making my 65 birthday very memorable.

Yelp
Wow this place is so varied in all the various meats they offer as well as all the side dishes available. I recommend coming here on an empty stomach with a big appetite because I got full too fast! Waiters come around with various cuts of meats in different marinations so make sure to try as much as you can. There wasn't a moment too long where we were waiting for meat which is was very nice. The ambiance is elevated with its dim lighting and cloth napkins. Definitely not a casual spot, but perfect for a date!

Yelp
Si, por favor let me take some home!!! Jk. I get it. You have to pace yourself and arrive famished! At around $75 per person, it's no joke. Over the years, I'd say I have become skilled at the art of ayce Brazilian steakhouses. Only saving my stomach capacity for the meat lover's gold like the top sirloin, beef ribs, filet mignon, chicken hearts, lamb leg, pork belly, and other favorites like grilled shrimp, grilled pineapple, hot peppers/chilis, cheesebread, and fried banana. I also like grabbing palette cleansers from the bar like cheese, pickles, olives, etc. to keep things balanced. Pro tip: The salad bar is a trap! Try whatever piques your curiosity but trust me--grab only small portions. You're paying premium for the meat! Heads up: There's a cake fee and the corkage fee is hefty. Service is fast and friendly, and most nights you'll feel like it's everyone's birthday (in the best way). I definitely prefer this location over the SF location, a beautiful, romantic spot to wine, dine, and go full carnivore with your hungry date. 8)

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my brothers birthday and I have to say I was very disappointed by the meat quality here. I found the meats to be on the dry side. Even the picanha was overly dry and you could tell from looking at the stick it was a bit over cooked. A lot of the meats were overly salted to the point it was hard to eat. The beef rib was good tho. I didn't get to try the lamb or the chicken hearts because I got full after eating so much meat. I was looking forward to this meal because everyone raved about it but it was just mid. I did find that the service was very fast as they came by with meat almost every second. Tho the tables are so close together it seemed very easily to accidentally bump into a waiter.

Yelp
Looking for the perfect meats? They're here! Came here with 3 friends for dinner. The brisket, short ribs, and bacon wrapped chicken were amazing. Tender and juicy. Perfection. But the real draw for me were the sides! Roast salmon in a cream sauce, paella filled with seafood, spinach and chicken pasta, bulgar salad, olives, and so many fresh salads to choose from. One of the best meals I had while visiting Redwood Shores.

Yelp
I have been here a few times, and I love the quality of the meat and food. It is one of my favorite Brazilian places to eat at. I didn't take any pictures this time, it was a busy day, and I wanted to just eat & relax. Overall vibe is classy, chill, and comfortable. I like eating in a sort of quiet environment too, so I can focus on the flavors and experience. That's just me. Customer service is also fantastic and they kept coming to serve/check on us.

Yelp
I have been here multiple times. It is a bit expensive, but it is very festive and delicious. We went there ok a Saturday lunch. It costs $75 per person and our two years old ate for free. They bring beef, lamb, chicken and pork stakes on the tables and you would have the option to pick anything you want from the salad bar. They have fish and pasta options in the bar as well. We have been there few times, and we will go there more too.

Yelp
Our good friend was celebrating his birthday and we decided to try out Espetus! This restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. It was our party's first time here and we were excited to try their Brazilian AYCE meat and salad bar! Service was top notch! These guys wanted to make sure we got the cuts of meat and doneness we wanted. And they came around often! Salad bar was also nice and displayed beautifully. But our table wanted to focus on the meat that's carved for us. Our favorite meats were the filet mignon, beef ribs, chicken hearts, pork belly, top sirloin, flank and anything medium rare was melt in your mouth, satisfying! They even sang Happy Birthday to the birthday boy and gave him a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Food was great, service was great, ambiance was great! What's not to love? We will definitely consider coming again for another special occasion!

Yelp
We stopped by on a Wednesday night for an impromptu dinner for three, and luckily there was no wait. While waiting for the meat servers to reach our table, we helped ourselves to the buffet, which had a wide variety of options. I leaned more toward salads than starches to balance out the rich meats (and to avoid getting too full!). We sampled every meat option available, and you can even request specific cuts from the servers--they'll send them out in rotation. My favorite was the picanha (sirloin steak): well seasoned, juicy, and perfectly medium rare. It stood out among the other cuts, some of which were a tad dry. What really sets Espetus apart from other Brazilian steakhouses I've tried is the distinct smoky flavor from their charcoal grills. It adds a depth to the meat that no other place I've tried has. Espestus is a great spot for a celebration or even just a nice dinner out. Now that I know my favorites, I'm definitely looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Bottom line: the food is good! The restaurant is rowdy with tables very close to each other. They sang happy birthday about 12 times in the 2 hour window. Service felt rushed. One of the waiters kept flirting with me in front of my husband. It was quite unprofessional. Made for a poor experience.

Yelp
1st timer at a brazilian steahouse AYCE on valentine's day weekend. Good experience, food bar was clean and stocked but you're here for the meat! I didn't know that for some of the meats you need your own tongs to get the pieces lol. But everything was delicious! They have a small centerpiece thing that lets the meat servers know if you'd like more meat or if you're good for now. Their smoked pineapple was great too. Only downside was their restroom. One of the women's restroom door was quite cramped. I liked how they offer new clean towels to dry your hands though. I wished they stopped allowing kids in the restaurant after a certain time because 2 children were being really loud and annoying.

Yelp
Awesome ambiance. The staff is very friendly and excellent service and food is delish..

Yelp
Went here for the first time with my boyfriend and his family to celebrate Father's Day. Parking can be a little challenging because it's mainly street parking, but we were able to secure a spot just around the corner. Our reservation time was at 6:30 PM, and once we walked in we were greeted right away and our table was ready. They also had a nice ambiance and a person was playing the saxophone line. When we arrived at our table, we were given instructions that the spinning wheel lets the attendants know if you would like to be served meat or not. Red for no, green for yes. We also have the option of picking out our sides or miscellaneous dishes buffet style. They have so many to choose from! From salmon, salad, some fruit, roasted potatoes, cheese, and vegetables to name a few. After getting our sides, we were ready to be served and there was so much meat to choose from. I tried the garlic steak, sirloin, crispy pork- they even had grilled pineapples, shrimp, chicken hearts, etc. it was a little overwhelming because there was so much to choose from. And it was never ending. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will be back again soon for another celebratory event!

Yelp
Came here on a sunday night & it wasn't too busy at all. The place is huge and clean. The servers were very nice and welcoming as well. I love the sides & salad bar options ~ the meats were also really good, i think i got a piece of everything that was doing around haha, my favorite was the flat iron steak and grilled pineapple. We order the gelato crème brulee and dulce de leche afterwards and it was so good.

Yelp
Date of Visit: 12/13/2024 We visited the Espetus Brazilian Steakhouse in San Mateo for our holiday lunch event. Espetus is one of the Brazilian Steakhouses in the Bay Area that provides authentic gaucho taste. Lunch is $54.95 per person, which offers 12-14 signature cuts of steak, pork, chicken, chicken heart, lamb, and shrimp, and they also have grilled pineapple. The salad bar and the Feijoada bar have many different salads, ham, cheese, and soup. I ordered a glass of the 2021 Rutherford Hill Merlot from Napa Valley and the 2021 Hearst Cabernet Sauvignon from Central Coast Paso Robles to pair with meat and seafood. The atmosphere was great and the waiter with the meat came often to check with us. Many other tables celebrate birthdays and it was a nice place to do so.

Yelp
I've been to several Brazilian spots, mostly in SoCal and this place is probably my fav! The salad bar was absolutely amazing, everything was fresh and so many things to choose from. My fav was this lasagna roll up and caprese salad. The meats just kept coming and so juicy, well marinated and absolutely delicious! We truly enjoyed our lunch here.
google avatar

Sunny A.

Yelp
Meat lovers welcome. Great place to celebrate special occasions or just dinner date. Buffet style steak house, the food comes to you. I love every pieces of meat. For those who doesn't eat meat, their salad bar has variety of dishes to chose from. The waiters are friendly and made sure all tables with green sign up got served. Any table with a birthday celebration, the staff's gathered around and sang happy birthday.
google avatar

Ray C.

Yelp
65 dollar corkage fee and 5 dollar per cake slice by the way. If anyone wanted to come for their birthday have your big bucks ready!
google avatar

Frances C.

Yelp
Foods were amazing, it's eat until you drop. Definitely getting your money worth it with non stop different cuts of meat from steak sirloins to grilled pineapple Each cuts are seasoned well with wonderful charred but not too burnt. Almost cooked side dishes such as salmons, mashed potatoes and more...are delicious too. Service and ambience are executed well They know how to treat their guests
google avatar

KC B.

Yelp
Good ambiance. No issues making a reservation for a large party. I enjoyed the cocktails (Brazilian Mojito & red Sangria). Wide selections for cocktails, wines, and beers. The buffet side dishes food were delicious and fresh although, some of the meats served on the skeweres were dry, too chewy, or burnt on edges. For dessert, I ordered the Petit Gateau for dessert and absolutely loved it.

Yelp
We celebrated my dad's birthday at Espetus. I have been here several times before, and I always enjoy my time when I visit Espetus. We came in on Thursday evening and got seated quickly. The place was huge and spacious; it had dim lighting inside. The food was appetizing. The salad bar and side dishes had many options. My favorites were mashed potatoes, rolled pasta, corn salad, and mango salad. I kept going back to the salad bar to get more of them. All the meats were delicious and tender, but my favorite was the grilled pineapple. It had a smoky flavor and elevated the taste of the grilled meats. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Espetus. The price was not cheap, but it was worth it for the meat cuts and different food options. I recommend this place.

Yelp
Tonight was amazing! Their bacon wrapped filet mignon is on point!! The service was really good! all servers served with smiles and politeness! Juan was really friendly and helpful!!
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
I took my husband here on Sunday, and we had a great time! The salad bar had a lot of great food - crispy pork belly, salmon, fried yucca, etc, but I tried not to go crazy there. Instead, we stuffed ourselves with the meats! There was SO MUCH!! My favorite was the house sirloin, but all of the meats were seasoned well. The chicken and pork were a little dry, but they still tasted good. Service was great!

Yelp
If you are looking for Brazilian Churrasco, look not further because Espetus delivers authentic, traditional, Gaucho experience. They offer "12-14 signature cuts of steak, pork, chicken, lamb, and shrimp, along with a variety of fresh seasonal salads, appetizers, crispy polenta, breaded banana, and hot dishes that reflect the bounty of Brazilian cuisine. Pão de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread) is served throughout the meal." Our favorites were... picanha: sirloin steak A Brazilian favorite, this top butt flat cut is remarkably flavorful and tender. beef ribs: savory ribs cooked slowly to perfection. filet mignon: the most tender cut of beef. Referred to as the "king of steaks" leg of lamb: tender leg of lamb has a soft, subtle flavor. Try it with mint jelly. home-style pork sausage: traditional Brazilian home-style sausage is made in-house, grilled to perfection, and packed with flavor. Grilled Pineapple: sweet pineapple tastes especially delicious grilled on an open flame and it promotes healthy digestion. Not my favorite, but when here, I usually get a few chicken hearts: Chicken Hearts are a Brazilian delicacy. Every bite is tender, juicy, and they're incredibly rich in iron and protein. The service is always friendly, professional, and hospitable. Pace yourself! They offer a lot of charcoaled meats. So don't fill up on the salads or appetizers. It's a great dining experience of you've never tried it.
google avatar

Anna Y.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and it was packed but not too busy. The ambiance was quite good, very big room with lots of tables that were closer together so it's more intimate. I usually don't go to Brazilian bbq too often but when I do I always like to grab stuff from their sides bar. This one had a lot of various dishes that I feel like could easily make you full if you wanted to lol. My favorite side was their crab chowder but everything else was also good. As for the meats, we tried each piece and really like the pichana and skirt steak and surprisingly the chicken heart. The chicken one was also really juicy and a must try. Would come back!
google avatar

Jennifer V.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and good for groups. A bit loud for anything more intimate. Be ready to eat, as the food just keeps on coming! Staff is really fast and constantly circling, bringing out fresh meat constantly. Buffet style option for side dishes, but really easy to get full from the different meat options. Worth a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Espetus get's a yes hands down across the board, we arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday I fully expected a long wait for a table but to my surprise we were seated promptly. The restaurant looks amazing when you first walk in. Or waiter greeted us immediately and welcomed us. The first stop the salad bar which may be one of the best looking salads bars I have seen in a long time. Our party of three went all in for the dinner menu which was amazing. The leg of lamb was juicy and succulent, the giant sized grilled shrimp was addicting. All the meats were cooked to perfection. I loved the grilled pineapple. We opted to share a pitcher of Sangria through out our evening. Just wanted to mention about 45 minutes into our meal people were coming in from everywhere 5-10 people at a time so if you come later parking may be an issue.
google avatar

Ben L.

Yelp
A protein fest!! Superb meat selection and shrimp. The pineapple is fabulous as well. The salad bar and cheese breads can easily fill you up. The service is top notch and they treat you like kings and queens. Bravo!
google avatar

Reena S.

Yelp
I was super excited to try Espetus as my family has tried other Brazilian spots and enjoyed them. Upon entering it felt less upscale than other places. We were seated and offered drinks/water. I felt as though the meat was taking exceptionally long to circulate. The same meat options would circulate and when we asked for specific ones "garlic" or "cheese" we were told those aren't coming out again as they are special. It was just confusing. If they came out once, why wouldn't they circulate again? Seemed strange. The food was okay and I just kinda got the ick from this place. The servers were working hard but it seemed like there was minimal air and they were sweating, which made the area around them smell! Not the most pleasant to eat around. Just my experience but I like other spots better!
google avatar

Yelp
I don't usually leave reviews, but after my fourth visit yesterday, I felt it was time to share my thoughts. Once again, I was genuinely impressed. The salad bar was fresh and well-stocked, the drinks were on point, and the meats were absolutely delicious. From the steaks to the chicken hearts, ribs, and shrimp, everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Honestly, I can't even pick a favorite! What really stood out, though, was the staff, especially the carvers. They were all friendly, professional, and very attentive. In fact, they were more responsive than the servers. I found myself asking the carvers for things like cheese bread. That extra effort didn't go unnoticed. I still remember my first visit when one of the carvers if I recall correctly, his name was Nery took the time to explain all the different meats and made sure I got to try a bit of everything. His knowledge and enthusiasm made a lasting impression. When employees know their craft and bring a great attitude, it elevates the entire dining experience. Great food is important, but it's the people who make the difference. I'll definitely be coming back more often.

Yelp
Amazing experience at Espetus in San Mateo. Came here with my boyfriend's family and we all enjoyed our time here. The service is amazing, we were seated and the entire process was explained to us with zero confusion. It's like a buffet, you get your carbs or salads and apps in the back buffet. Then you return to your table where you're served a wide variety of meats, shrimp, and pineapple. I have zero complaints here, the food was all 10/10 - I love the options of carbs they have here. My personal favorites were the lasagna, quinoa, and cheesy potatoes. Everything else they had to offer was delicious as well! Careful not to load up too much on the buffet, you definitely want to get your moneys worth with the meats they have to offer. At the end, we didn't have space for any desserts (bummer) but we were told to give their mint mocha a try - and thankfully we did! It was so yummy, a warm Ghirardelli mocha with a splash of mint. This is an alcoholic drink though just a forewarning to those who may not like that. Overall, 100/10 experience. Servers were so kind and funny, and the ambiance is very family friendly - we will be back soon!

Yelp
Really not necessary for AYCE because there's way too much for endless bbq beef and pork, and $75 dinner is higher than most Vegas buffets, so it lacks a bit in variety (except of course meats). However it is certainly better than $60+ for a beef rib that some BBQ place I had recently, here beef rib is just one of the items. Service was great, however still wonder whether for six a price that's a wider choice of cuts and meat conditions, there's only well done and almost well here. It's simply too oily and over cooked (a bit), though I understand that customers might really like the crispy texture and aroma. Salad bar is good as usual. Desert was great, 4 stars, but again Vegas buffet there are wider varieties and they are free. Good ambience and atmosphere as well.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're going to eat Brazilian BBQ, you need to do it right - so make sure you hit up Espetus in San Mateo! I only had one prior Brazilian BBQ experience and that was at a Fogo in Irvine. Espetus blew me away in terms of food quality and experience when compared to Fogo. I made reservations for my family and I in advance for my sister's birthday, and we were promptly seated when we arrived. Servers were super attentive and waters constantly refilled. The salad/hot food bar had better selections than Fogo. The meat was also prepped beautifully, at the right level of saltiness, and cooked to perfection. While the rest of my family just sat back I made sure I ate seconds of that gooooood meat! Would definitely come back for special occasions - especially to see them sing to my sister again!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I can't believe I only just discovered an AYCE Brazilian meat place. It's such a fun place to go to for dates, birthdays or company parties. If you enjoy the House of Prime Rib, this is a million times better. Lots of meats to choose from: beef, pork, and chicken. My personal favorite is the house special steak. Reservations highly recommended.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Service is great and the constant flow of meat offering was good. Drinks were always refilled and you were always asked if anything was needed or if a specific meat was wanted. Prior to being seated, you are advised that there is a 2 hour limit and you will know when your time is up. The workers will start cleaning up and clearing the table. At the same time, they also ask if you want more meat, drinks or grilled pineapple . The serve yourself area has an abundance of hot and cold items. Be careful not to take too much, you must save room for the best part- the churrascaria! The picanha is by far our favorite. We love that the meat was cooked over charcoal. The meat had the right amount of rock salt which made the meat tasty, juicy and not too salty. The restaurant is inviting and elegant. There is a bar and live entertainment. The decor is mahogany/cherrywood. Definitely a great place for special occasions. Best part? There is something for everyone & you won't leave hungry. 4 stars bc we felt rushed towards the end. We were a large party of 19. Trying to socialize & eat in 2 hours isn't that easy. At the end, feel pushed out wasn't a great feeling after a nice meal. I get it there was another party after us but to feel welcomed in the beginning and then rushed out was disappointing.
google avatar

Yelp
Last nite we (5 persons) ate at this location for easy parking & lot more comfortable than S F. Location (Homeless area, 1 block away from Market st), our busboy took our tea cup away by saying I'm taking your cups away cause your guys not ordering tea or coffee without waiting for our answer! Very rude & unprofessional. I informed our waiter what just has happened & request to speak to management! Nothing happened, no management or anyone get back to us. As a horrible result I only add $40 tips out of $462.00 total.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday dinner on 11/2/24. I just forgot to leave a review. Dined in and it was also my mother's first time coming to the Bay Area. I was worried she wasn't going to eat enough since we had a big lunch earlier but thank gawd she enjoyed herself. I did tell her to not eat too much at the salad bar, but like any mother, doesn't listen to her child. ‍ Overall service was pretty great. The service from our server if I remember her name correctly I think it may have been Noelle (Female) Brunette with nice glasses. She was very helpful and patient with us. The meat selections were great, and not only that but I had my first ever try of Chicken Hearts. Boyyyyyy, did I love me some chicken hearts. I was so afraid it was going to taste like liver but my expectations was the complete opposite at its best opportunity. The price is steep but well worth the value. The cheese breadddd though. Why am I sucker for these cheesy golden goodness. I had my share, but I'm telling you all, save your tummies for the Pichana. Our table of 4 probably finished a whole skewer. My rec is to get it it as rare as possible for that good texture. Also!!!! Do not forget about the grilled shrimp or grilled pineapple. Heavennnn!!!!

Yelp
Dear Lord! First time in a place like this. WOW... I mean WOW was it good. Im a low carb person and this is heaven. The staff were great, so nice! The inside is amazing and relaxing. Beautiful in there. I did have the round pasta with the white sauce. I could have eat the whole thing! Ao many choice of meat being brought and cut right at the table. I will return and I will feel the full gut of joy when I leave again. One down fall is parking is rough. Being in San Mateo that should not come as a shocker. No pics, my GF would not let me here Looking at $80 a person but WORTH IT!
google avatar

Krys Y.

Yelp
My first Espetus experience was at the San Francisco location, but I have since celebrated a friend's birthday at the San Mateo location. This one is also great! They offer the same great service as the San Francisco location and the same great selection of meats on a sword. While the layout is different, the vibe is the same. I would describe it as nice casual. In my opinion, the benefit of this location is the ease of parking. Yes, it's not the easiest place to find parking, but it's much easier to find parking here than at the San Francisco location. Regardless of which location you go to, they are both phenomenal. I could make a meal out of the tapioca bread alone! Ugh. They are SO good!

Yelp
The meat was tasty and satisfying. Be sure to bring your eating pants. It was tender with lots of favors. Perfect place for a date night dinner.

Yelp
This place is awesome. If you love grilled steaks and meats, this is the spot. The service is on point. All the servers, hosts, bartenders, runners etc are very friendly. Love the feel of the place. Very comforting.

Yelp
Reservations for a party of 8 for a birthday celebration of two of the guests at 7:30pm. Good side bar of options for food where all 7 guys filled their plate with and ate the complimentary bread that was given. I didn't fill up on bread or my plate until after I was done with the meat options. Haha Overall we were pretty happy and content with our meals and we were given 4 complimentary desserts. Grateful that our waiter and coworkers brought out birthday desserts and sang for our two friends. They didn't want it but I of course was like nope! We're doing it LOL This was my second time coming here but the rest of my party come here pretty regularly. There's a red and green signal that you spin to where you want based on how fast the meat is coming out and your stomach room. After tip it was roughly around $105 for each person. Street parking and there is a parking garage that is free after a certain time which is where my bf and I parked.

Yelp
Came here for my husbands birthday dinner with some friends and colleagues and this place did not disappoint. The salad bar is one of the best we've had and the quality of the meats being brought out were fantastic. The service here was very quick and we always had full plates.

Yelp
What another delicious way to celebrate a Happy Halloween meal! Drove here from SF coz we truly love coming to this particular restaurant! We were served by many wonderful staff workers! But our favorite two guys were there today! Yayyy!! Thank you always to Antonio and Ivan! All of them there are Awesome hardworking professional kind servers! :)) Today my hubby and I choose the salad bar instead of starchy foods like normally I get rice..pastas and today I didn't even get salmon! :0 But I feel good in my selections! We're both happy and satisfied as we always are coming here!! :)) Today we were both good and I especially opted out desserts! Lol! Only for now..next time I won't resist! Thanks to Espetus for another great lunch! See you again! :))

Yelp
It's hard to have such a big appetite now that I'm running around chasing my toddler who's SO busy. Luckily my hubs and I found some time to go on a date night and we chose to celebrate our anniversary here! We made a reservation prior and I think that helped because this place got busy real fast. If you've never been here before it's best to wear stretchy pants or something loose because you're going to eat your moneys worth. You're also going to want to try everything and they have over 15 meats to choose from! So come hungry and don't be shy. The salad bar has mostly cold items but some warm. They had a variety of cheeses, salads, veggies, deli meats, olives, etc. but the stand out ones for me were the mango salsa, beets, Greek cucumber salad, and the sun riped tomatoes! When the green sign is up, you'll be bombarded with servers offering you all kinds of cuts of meat. It's hard to say no. Our favorite was the Espetus top sirloin. The garlic steak gave us garlic breath for the rest of the night so beware haha! The cheese bread appetizer was sooo good too. Honestly a few meats were pretty dry and not very appetizing once it got cold so I recommend eating or accepting a few meats at a time so they don't get cold! The best part was also the hot pineapple... I am pretty sure I ate at least 6 slices of those. And surprisingly they gifted us a bowl of ice cream to share, celebrating our anniversary. Thanks Espetus! Parking wasn't hard at all. We parked on the street less than a block away and it's free after 6PM on Saturdays.

Yelp
Prices as of April 2024: * Weekday Lunch $54.95 1130a-230p * Dinner $74.95 Monday - Thursday: 5p-10p; Friday 5p-11p; Sat 12p-3p, 5p-11p; Sunday 12p-9p. Parking is rough, service can be hit or miss depending on how busy the restaurant is. More attentive during offpeak, rushed when they're fully booked. Spacious but dark primary dining room during dinner. We used to love the Churrascaria selections but it's gotten a bit salty and some cuts were dry. The higher prices and lower quality are unjustifiable now.

Yelp
I've now been to Espetus a handful of times, most recently at their San Mateo location on Christmas Eve. Totally impressed by the "extras" available on Christmas Eve, not to mention that they're open for regular dinner hours on such a popular holiday eve. Dinner price is still the same of $75. I'll be the first to admit that I never get my money's worth at any ACYE and that's totally fine. I'm there for the experience. One of my favorite things to eat is the grilled pineapples, and I definitely made it known to the server. He came back often. Those are prefectly grilled where it's lightly charred but still juicy. Some of my other favorite meats include the filet mignon, tender and flavorful. Surprisingly I also like the chicken leg, which is also tender. Another favorite is grilled shrimp, don't mind getting my hands dirty. Top sirloin is also tasty. This place knows how to grill and flavor their meats! Can't forget to mention the Brazilian cheese bread, they're especially delicious when straight out of the oven. Just don't eat too many or you won't have room for other items. There is a ton of other types of food and sides at the buffet bar. I'll usually take a look-through, but don't eat too much from there. The place wasn't crowded at all that night and reservations were easily made the day-of, which is super rare for this restaurant. During another visit, reservations were made 6 weeks in advance for a Saturday night. Bottom line, book accordingly. The tables are spread out enough where you're not arm and arm with other guests. In the past, I was seated at a corner table, which I loved since it was really private with not many people walking by. This time, I was seated near the kitchen area and felt that was also private. Parking is typical in this area of street parking, just read the signs for when the meters aren't in operation. #2/2024

Yelp
This place is fun although they jam pack you in. I am so thankful I can enjoy vegetarian items while the rest of the group chows down on their endless rotating meats. I am taking off a star because it is hard to have meats shoved in your face while you sit there, and the Caipirinha was disappointing. The margarita was much tastier and they do have a decent wine selection. Great place for groups!

Yelp
Too involved with eating huge amounts of meat to take any pictures. I loved the chicken hearts. But all of the different cuts that are brought to your table by the gauchos/servers are excellent. The salad selection is also amazing. The grilled pineapple is amazing but tastes even better when combined with the meats. The wine was ranked so-so by my wine drinking colleagues - I stayed with water.
