My daughter had a school choir recording session here recently and I was very impressed with the facility. Much of it is over my head but I can certainly appreciate the complex sound equipment and gear that have everywhere. There is even mixing board inputs in the hallways to take advantage of the natural reverb! Very cool. I'm not sure of the rates and availability but to the untrained eye, it looks like a world class recording studio with all the newest processors and computers on hand.

Housed in a restored church in the heart of New Orleans, Esplanade Studios is a top notch recording studio. It reminds me of Skywalker Sound in Marin in the level of attention to detail that's gone into their production. While of course not as large as Lucas's recording studio, Esplanade Studios is impressive for a smaller market venue. There are three studios and five iso rooms. The control room is set up where the church's choir used to be housed. Almost every nook of the studios is wired up. Inspired by the sound in the staircase? There's already panel there. They have a full kitchen and plenty of parking. Not only is it functionally impressive but it's also an aesthetic delight. The wood floors and stained glass windows make it a vibrant place to work. Esplanade Studios is the nicest recording studio in New Orleans, nothing else compares.
