Dined at EsQuilina on my last night — my only complaint is I wish I came here sooner!! Absolutely delicious. The wine menu has a nice selection of by the glass, menu features local fare with an upscale twist. I ordered catch of the day tuna crudo and the butternut squash tortellini. Since I don’t drink but wanted to pair with my food, I ordered 2oz tastes of the Champagne and burgundy Chardonnay. They even asked what I’m celebrating and brought out a chocolate lava cake, which was decadent. I never saw an itemized bill and was a little surprised that my bill was $200 before adding my gratuity. I know there is resort tax or maybe they charged be full price for the wine tastes, but was just a little surprised. It was delicious but was adding up in my head and couldn’t make it make sense. Not a big deal just left me a little confused.

Best breakfast buffet on the island. Dinner is another story. Staff is friendly, lighting a little too bright for the dinner service ambiance, menu can be deceiving with a mixture of James Beard / Michelin level plating and New York Greek dinner style portion. Squid and octopus were a little bland but plating was beautiful. Mushroom dish seemed like it was sitting for a few hours because seasoning was acidic. The island Salad , chicken souvlaki, and grilled wahoo dishes could of served two people and were exceptionally yummy. There are many other options for dinner to chose from on the island, but if your staying at the resort, this is quick and easy. Maybe it was an off day. We dined at the venue a few years ago but this is new menu and post covid so some of the misses can be overlooked as for a Four Seasons property they always improve and correct any flaws.

The value of the food for the price paid was not adequate, in my opinion. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was ok. Sadly, there were a lot of families dining at the same time that I had my solo evening meal. I ordered the FRESH BURRATA AND VINE TOMATO CAPRESE (GF), GREEK CHICKEN SOUVLAKI (GF, NF), and TIRAMISU. All the items were good but not overwhelming great. I watched as one family let their children run freely in the restaurant, while the man/father enjoyed his meal without his shoes on. While I would expect this at Sunshines just down the beach, I expected more overall from this experience within the Four Seasons Resort. Overall, with tip, tax and service charge, my bill was $160 USD. I will say, I enjoyed and would return for the tiramisu alone!

Breakfast buffet was ok. Cost was ridiculous! For two of us it was $115. I had an omlet, my husband had oatmeal and fruit.
