Esquina Pizza / Copita Wine Bar

After a long day of hiking in nearby Bandalier National Park, we were looking for a simple but tasty dinner. Esquina didn't disappoint! We were greeted on the patio by the owner who helped us get seats at the bar. (She's a delight if you get a chance to talk with her!) She and her staff then made sure we had drinks and food recommendations. We're big fans of dates, so the Nduja and Proscuitto stuffed dates sounded amazing (and were!). We went with the pistachio pesto pizza, and the crust was pillowy and delicious. We finished out the night with Tiramisu, and it was a wonderful end to a good meal.

Exceptional pizza (Leo's) and possibly the best salad we've ever eaten. Superlative service all around but especially with recommending appropriate wine for each member of our party. Although a small venue, the intimacy contributed to the overall vibe of the delightful space. 10 out of 10. Will recommend and definitely return for many, many future meals.

Cute place! Lovely patio and small indoor seating area with bar. The service was on point and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar and the sausage pizza(added a side of their amazing ranch for dipping the crust.) The dough was thin in the middle with a fluffy dough edge and the right amount of hot oven burnt puffs. Would recommend this place if you are looking for fresh artisanal pie.

I recently found a great pizza place while checking out recommendations in Santa Fe through “Santa Fe Gems” on Google Maps, which also mentioned Churro Bar. The pizza was cooked just right—neither too charred nor undercooked. The crust was satisfying, not too thick or thin, and the sauce and pepperoni were delicious. I saw positive reviews for the mushroom pizza and heard it was really good. Interestingly, while I was waiting for my order, two ladies came in, and one recommended the mushroom pizza to her friend. Overall, the service was quite fast. The staff member who helped me was friendly and even provided ranch dressing for the inconvenience of my online order not arriving promptly. He also suggested how to enjoy the hot honey with the pizza. I would definitely recommend this place, and next time, I plan to try the mushroom pizza. Just a heads-up: parking can be a bit tricky to find in this area.

What an awesome find! The jazz music was such an enjoyable atmosphere, great attention to stylish detail in the restaurant, very attentive staff, and a creative menu. The food we ordered was DELICIOUS. Highly suggest the mushroom pizza, and there was a special pizza with peaches and prosciutto 🤌 All very great and a wonderful experience.

Ordered a 3 cheese pizza. It did not look good - very greasy and very little sign of cheese. Bottom crust burned. Ate 2 bites and paid and left. Noticed another customer who had left his pizza mostly uneaten. Extremely limited seating - had to share a table with 3 foul-mouthed guys. Won't be going back

Esquina pizza is our absolute favorite pizza place in Santa Fe. We’ve gone many times- often take out - and hands down their pizza rocks. We love ours extra crispy so that’s why the photos has those dark crust areas but they’ll make it however you want.

My daughter and I were staying at a nearby hotel- and we were craving pizza! Stumbled upon Esquina Pizza and we were not disappointed! Very friendly service, fresh salad, and probably some of the best pizza I've had in a long time.

I would like to start by saying the pizza is very good. Is it blow-your-mind good? No, but I would definitely pick it again as far as flavor goes. However - the parking situation there is absolute buns. I am so serious. You might as well park a block away and walk. No interior pretty much, you will have to sit outside. Hope the weather's nice! Also when I came, staff wasn't super friendly. Not unfriendly, just not very welcoming. We were visiting from out of town and it was a very meh experience.

Was on a road trip and found this spot. I highly recommend this place. Everything was great from service to the amazing food. Some of the most tasty marinara I've ever had.

A diamond in the rough! I'm pretty critical about pizza places and this is a solid choice for the casual and even the discerning pizza lover. Unique menu, a very small but good wine list. You can tell the chef has fun.

Several Yelp reviews state this is the best Pizza in Santa Fe. Well it is my only experience so far. But this would be hard to beat! Amazing pizza! I ordered online. It was ready when I got there with great service from the counter. The pizza was thin, with lots of really tasty toppings. I got the Sausage and added pepperoni. This was some really good Pizza. I will be back!

I'm a huge pizza fan so whenever I visit a new city I always try to find the best pizza in town. And I'm sure I found it at Esquina Pizza. I had the mushroom pizza with sausage added and it was fantastic. Pizza starts with the dough and at Esquina it creates a pizza that melts in your mouth. And all the ingredients are fresh and flavorful, blending together to create pizza perfection. My buddy got the pepperoni and it was a pepperoni party on the pizza. Service was also great and the outdoor patio is serene. If you're in Santa Fe and looking for a fantastic pizza experience, this is your place.

Food - 5 stars Space - 3 stars Okay let's start with the greatness: Esquina Pizza is darn delicious. We started with the garlic bread, then I ordered the Hot Pepper Pizza, and my husband ordered the Pepperoni. The garlic bread - 5 stars. It was fresh, chewy, fantastic bread served with a side of chunky tomato sauce. What a great treat. The pizzas - great crust, flavorful tomato sauce, and yummy toppings. I loved both pizzas. I will 10000% be coming back for more pizza. So why 4 stars? The inside space is so cute and intimate, but just so small for how popular it is. Sounds like a good problem to have for a business lol. But the seating is TIGHT. I would not recommend coming here and t trying to site inside with more than a group of 4. They do have a patio, but it's cold in the winter months! Be prepared to wait for a seat if you're not there early.

Finally a gluten free pizza that tastes like pizza dough!! Great toppings! Will be back soon! BRAVO!!

Great dining experience. Our server was friendly and provided outstanding service. There was a nice selection of wines. The meatballs were a great starter, and the pepperoni pizza was delicious - loaded with pepperoni, but not too much sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The music on the patio was a wonderful addition. Definitely a 10/10 visit.

The crust is so, so good. Ethereally crispy, yet chewy. And it's fully cooked through unlike Neapolitan pizza. Toppings are your basic pizzeria offering, done well. Chopped salad very good, maybe even cravable. Interesting wine selection, heavy on skin-contact.

This is the best little wine bar and wood fired pizza restaurant I've been to, truly a gem.

We've lived here for 6 1/2 years and we've been disappointed with every single place until tonight :-) I highly recommend this place! This was amazing takeout pizza. We ordered the sausage farm style and cheese pizzas. The crust was amazing and next time I'm going to ask for extra garlic on the farm style pizza. You can order online or by phone. My son told me that you could sit outside if the weather was nice.

Great pizza and great service. We tried to find a spot while visiting Santa Fe. This came up with good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a cool evening. Our server was amazing and super friendly. We ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The crust was amazing and the mushrooms and onions were very tasty. We also had the garlic bread with marinara sauce as an appetizer and this too was great. Highly recommend when you are in Santa Fe!!!

The food is amazing. It's in my top 5 favorite wood fired pizzas. We got the antipasto platter and the variety just has so much flavor and depth. Its not super heavy unless you eat tons and who wouldn't want to with homemade crust and mozzarella? Right? Absolutely will recommend.

Esquina Pizza. The three cheese is excellent. 8.3 The combo of cheeses is great. The crust is crispy and no flop. Sauce is good quality but not the star. Great pizza. Pepperoni is excellent as well. 7.8 I have to update. I've been thinking about that cheese pizza all week. It's the best I've had in a long time. Updated my score to 8.3.

Outrageously OVER PRICED pizza!!! Avoid if you don't like getting ripped off and insulted. Go to Outback or Upper Crust instead.

It's with mixed emotions I write this review. I am a food critic and have lived in SF for over 15 years, Today visiting Esquina, tasting the pizza, ingredients flavor temperature, Leña taste was absolutely the best pizza I've had in SF, it dropped my previous favorito to second place. Having said that, the service and ambience made me feel as if I was in a 3rd world country middle alley setting. Asked for water and was told to get up and serve myself, waiter only delivered food and drinks, wine was 12 dlls a drink, wine in a can mind you with a plastic cup.. googled the brand and was a 6 pack for 5.49 .. I understand mark up .. this was at over a 1000% mark up hence the 3rd world country setting l.... They had the Odacity to request 20, 22 or 25 percent tip..: for what .... Not one person came to ask if we were properly serviced .... Attitude was negative to say the least, bill was 167.00 and I was reluctant to leave any tip whatsoever, my wife and I had to compromise between the 20 and 30 percent I normally tip Gave the lowest I've had in a long time .. 10% Still kinda high

First off, all these people whining about the char on the crust...that's what makes good pizza. Don't listen to these people. The pizza was fantastic. We ordered the cheese, the pepperoni & the sausage. All three of our boys loved it. The negatives, however, outweigh the great pizza. We walked up to find that we had to sit outside where the sun baked concrete baked us. When we tried to get a table inside, we were told by whom I think to be the manager, that those seats were reserved for their wine bar only. She was not friendly about it at all. After we sat at the only table that was large enough for our party, which was in the sun, the fella that waited on us told us to serve ourselves some water. The waiter was not friendly either. On top of this, they only serve 12" pizzas, that in my opinion, were expensive. The unfriendly service & the baking sun kept us from being blown away by the great pie. It was a shame. If they would allow people dining to sit in the air conditioning & be more personable, they would have a great place to eat.

I was just picking up after a long day so anything I say you can blame on me...haha. The service was great, so friendly and warm I wish I had eaten in house...the pizza I got was delicious however I think it would have been even better just out of the oven. The Caesar salad could use a bit of excitement seemed a bit ordinary and honestly why not do something a bit fantastic with your salads. As I walked back to the car I could see what looked like a great outdoor space for dining and a cool little bar attached to that. Perhaps I am wrong, because I never got that far, but I aim to go back and check it out again. Always interested in a place with good food, great ambiance, and friendly people...am I wrong?

Having lives in both New York and Italy, this pizza was a big disappointment. Way too much crust, not enough tomato sauce(which was tasteless) and maybe four basil leaves on the Margerita for $17+tax! All in all, wouldn't go back. There are better pizzas in Santa Fe.

OMG!! Don't walk...RUN to try this amazing Pizza!! We ordered online, so easy to use, ready quickly. Went in to pick up and the staff was friendly, professional and just a pleasure! We shared the pizza among Officers and each really enjoyed it greatly! We ordered the pepperoni, added the house made sausage, the hatch green chile and the roasted mushrooms and side of Ranch! Wow!! All the ingredients were fresh and delicious! What a wonderful surprise to find an incredible Pizza place that is going to give all others a run for their money. Mexican food in New Mexico is a must of course but if your are here for more than a couple of days and don't want to eat Mexican cuisine every meal, this is my first suggestion. The food, vibe, service is just amazing. Do try their mezcal from their "wine" list..

We are Santa Fe residents, but this is the first time we have tried Esquina Pizza. In short, the service, food and ambience is stellar We were immediately greeted with big smiles from the owner and our server, which is not always common. They were both so sweet! We ordered an amazing light red wine, which was a perfect complement to the pizzas we ordered. We started with a Caesar salad was amazing, with just the right amount of lemon and let us with delightfully crisp and fresh. We had a Margherita pizza and a pizza with sausage and Calabrian peppers, and they were both scrumptious. We will definitely be back very soon!

i hate writing negative reviews. alas. this pizza's crust is *great*. that's the best i have to offer. my san marzano sauce, which takes approximately 37 seconds to make, is vastly superior. succulent, even. for $24, you would think that the sausage pizza would have more than a 1" piece of sausage per piece. but the most heartbreaking part was that it had almost no flavor... except in that *one bite* of each slice. I'm so sad. i love paloma, and i think it's the same people. but they aren't "hitting" here yet. for that much money, i won't be trying it again unless someone else is buying. i maintain that the best tasting pizza in the 'fe is Hawt, at Low and Slow.

Food is delicious. Wine not so much. Pour was for a 1/2 glass but we were charged for a full. When I asked the waiter about it after seeing the table next to us get served a proper pour, he just said he gave us a full pour and brought the check immediately. He didn't ask if we wanted dessert. I guess we will stick to take out.

I think this is the best pizza I've had in Santa Fe! There was a large group of us, we had mushroom (my favorite), pesto, sausage, and hot pepper. Also had a chopped salad and olives. We sat on the patio and it was delightful; good food, good beer, good company!

UNBELIEVABLE PIZZA !!! I have ordered pizza at every single pizza establishment in Santa Fe. There are some great ones! Back Roads Pizza, Mamacitas Pizza (Abiquiu) ... But tonight, I ordered 2 pizzas from La Esquina on 403 S. GUADALUPE STREET, and let me tell you.... this might be some of the BEST pizza I have ever had!! Incredible crust!! Bubbly, crisp, yet chewy and delicious. Amazing sauce... amazing cheese... home made sausage... Just incredible pizza! I actually used FETCH to to pick up my pizza and have it delivered to my home, and even the Fetch driver told me... "Have you been to this place? I never knew it existed. It's a tiny place, with a big brick oven... it's totally awesome" Well that doesn't surprise me at all. This pizza is amazing. Ordered the Margherita, and the Sausage pizza (without peppers) and both were truly delicious. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. They must be brand new because I had to add this business on Yelp... but they deserve the praise and the exposure. YUM !!! My new to go pizza!! So far my fav pizza in Santa fe ! there's a tiny bar at the main kitchen where u order and a really cute outdoor area in the back to get a table, but the pizza was really tasty and the crust is the best in Santa Fe! def going back this weekend !

Honestly one of my top pizza places in town literally one of the few I liked... I've nearly had them all besides the fast food spots.. I'm super picky when it comes to pizza and there is literally only two spots I'd hit for pizza... Dine in was so dope too.. The vibes were it... Cool ass people.. Dope tunes blasting... Dank dank zaaaaa... we will definitely make this a reg spot for future trips here!! 10/10 other people complaining in the reviews.. Go eat dominos jk hahaha :)

Stayed the night in Sanra Fe and was hungry for pizza. Found this little place close to our hotel. The staff is great. Very friendly and dog friendly. We shared a caeset salad and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Their crust is amazing! It is truly one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time.

Hubby and I split a Margharita Pizza and Chopped Salad. Both were delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Finally found pizza with good crust! The Leo is one of their standard pizzas and it is quite good with generous toppings, but not so heavy that I couldn't pick it up. Caesar salad is enough for 3 people.

Love the vibe of this little spot. They have a back patio between the pizza parlor and a natural wine bar. Always love finding a good orange wine. We got the veggie pizza which was good except the pieces of kale were just to big to be functional. I ended up picking most of it off, was just too much. Servers were very friendly. Would definitely go back
