"With its sleek, modern interior done out in warm hues, and friendly, professional waitstaff, this restaurant housed in a fitness centre a little out of town is very inviting. The regional and seasonal cuisine is prepared with sustainability in mind. It's all about sharing here; tapas-style dishes are placed in the middle of the table for everyone to dig into – mix and match vegetarian, meat and fish options as you see fit. Perhaps you will be tempted by arancini stuffed with burrata and mushrooms, or samosa with locally hunted venison, sweetcorn and mint lassi. Be sure to try the wonderful spelt flatbread with one of the delicious dips! Delicious food with take away and inside. You can create your plate with big one only 8,5 euros and 0,5 euro paper plate and passion fruit drink 3 euros. Toilet is clean. Staff are kind and helpfully serviced.

One of the best places to eat in Tübingen, both take-away and dine-in. The uniqueness of Esszimmer is the fact that their food is tasty as well as healthy. You can choose your own base (rice, pasta, etc.) and add vegetables, chicken, spices, sauce and condiments on top of it. The price is reasonable and the quantity is very good. I often used to grab my lunch from Esszimmer when I was not in the mood to cook (on holidays) or eat from Mensa (on weekdays).

All the options look freshly cooked and tasted great! Defo recommend the creamy mushroom sauce. Love the upstairs layout, v cosy, feeling like home.

The food was really amazing and nourishing. You can select what you want on top, and they also have a vegan option. They gave me a big amount of rice and also the rest was a really good and big amount. I would definetely come back and try other sauces.

It is the Best place to eat when you forgot to bring your lunch to the Uni and don’t want to spend more than 10 euros but still want to eat in a restaurant…

I went here with my friend a couple weeks ago and got a bowl to go. It was great! I got the curry sauce and a mix of veggie balls and meatballs with a bunch of different veggies. The veggie balls were okay, but the meatballs were amazing! I would definitely go back, but unfortunately it isn't wheelchair accessible (nicht barrierefrei), so I can only go back with a friend. Another issue was that my lid wouldn't stay on my bowl, but that wasn't a huge problem. Overall I'd say it was a good little place.
