Esta Saigon

We had a wonderful dinner at Esta Saigon. The beautifully plated dishes, from seafood to meat, were satisfying and left us full. The chestnut crepe and house-made ice cream were a perfect finish. The 4-glass wine pairing matched the food well and was worth trying. Staff were attentive and warm, making the evening flow smoothly. A cozy, elegant spot perfect for a date night in Saigon.

A clear 5-star restaurant with absolute gourmet cuisine. We went today to Esta Saigon and were at first sceptical whether the menu would not disappoint us (as it did in other expensive places in Sotuheast Asia). This was a complete positive surprise. The menu was creative and absolutely delicious. Savoury dishes with balanced acidity and fresh local ingredients were served throughout the whole 11 course menu. The courses were complex but balanced. The atmosphere is very nice and we enjoyed observing the kitchen crew preparing the meals while eating on the bar. The service was excellent, and even though the whole crew is extremely young, they were 100% professional. We were deeply impressed. The relatively high price of around US$120 per person is absolutely fair considering the high end products used (eg Wagyu beef…). We would recommend any food enthusiast to visit Esta. In our opinion they deserve at least one Michelin star.

Food and services here met my expectation of a Michellin Guide but the space need to improve a bit. Tables and chairs are too close (probably to utilize their space).

We had a wonderful and truly delicious evening at this fantastic restaurant. The team is incredibly dedicated. The French dishes come with a modern, international twist. Even if you’re used to dining at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, you’ll still find yourself pleasantly surprised here. The wine list is outstanding, and the service is exceptionally good and very attentive. Even by international standards, the evening was something special. We sat at the counter, which was a lot of fun — watching the young team in action was a great experience. Every movement was calm and professional. Seeing all the dishes being grilled or cooked over open fire was truly something unique. We can recommend this restaurant 100%. By Vietnamese standards, it’s definitely expensive — not compared to global prices, but for Vietnam, yes. Still, it’s absolutely worth it. It can easily hold its own on an international level. Balanced taste more towards sourness so easy for me to finish. Amazed to have this level of food, atmosphere and service in Vietnam. The ingredients inspired from Vietnam which makes it special. The guests, the settings make it more memorial. Price range reasonable for this level around 2mil/person

As a foodie, i would love to try both local street food and fine dining to experience exotic vibe. Esta is some of the few choices of fine dining you can find in saigon. However, it didn’t bother me to gave this restaurant a big thumb. The service is incredible and the food is very good. Even though i was hoping to have more Vietnam elements in the cuisine, it actually gave me a spring course that is beyond my expectations. Highly recommended.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Saigon. The taste was delicate & complex. We did a la carte & we were really happy with the food & wines. The lobsters were the stars, we both liked it very much. Oysters were really good, too. I wouldn’t rcm the Zen wine as we both find it pretty over-priced. My bf liked the duck but it was just okay for me. The mango yogurt was so so, too.
