Esta Saigon

Overall a good tasting menu, particularly enjoyed the first 5-6 dishes, they were excellent. For mains you can choose between wagyu steak or duck, we chose the wagyu and it was fine, but honestly, it's just a little boring as it is on so many other tasting menus in HCMC (both the duck and the wagyu option). Dessert was creative, but not my taste. Very heavy on the cream/foam and not much icecream. Flavor was not bad though. The lime-wasabi icecream which was served as pallet cleanser was more interesting. Had the wine pairing as well, it was good and the selection complemented the dishes well - but - each glass is literally put on a scale and measured when pouring. I understand the pursuit for accuracy and consistency, but when the wine pairing costs almost the same as the food, it just feels cheap. Pour enough and everyone will be happy, no one will measure if it's exactly 50ml... The restaurant looks great, nice atmosphere and staff. No complaints about service at all. Overall a good experience and i would go again.

Esta is a Michelin restaurant which famous in different social media. I was excited to try it when I’m first time in Saigon! I went there when I just landed Saigon on October last year. The restaurant setting is amazing, cozy and wonderful. They serve set menu and à la carte menu options. We had six people on that day so we do it à la carte sharing style. The food we had overall is not bad on the snack and appetizer. While some of the main course might not match well with the condiment but the doneness of meat is perfect for sure. They have a very experienced staff but some of the staff might not explain the dishes fluently in English so need to put more effort to listen it.

An unforgettable Christmas Eve at Esta Saigon that completely exceeded my expectations. Chef Hàn Ni truly outdid herself with the selection of premium, ultra-fresh ingredients and the perfectly balanced seasoning that elevated every dish. It was one of those rare dining experiences that lingers in my memory long after the last bite. Esta Saigon remains my absolute go-to spot whenever I want a special night out—consistently outstanding!

I chose a restaurant for my birthday dinner because of its open kitchen. I loved watching the chefs cook. The service was very attentive, the food was exquisite and attractive, and the taste was not just good, but very delicious. I had an unforgettable birthday night. Thanks to the esta team for singing birthday song for me. It was a little embarrassing, but I was very happy.

Super special, highlights pictured were the buratta and fermented physalis to start, and the hazelznut mille feuille. Enjoyed watching the open kitchen which had a very calm atmosphere. Great wine and fantastic service, thank you!

very unique prix fixed menu and excellent service! always alway worth a try to go to a michelin guide restaurant when traveling abroad. every dish was very unique and had flavors and combinations i would never though would go together. i’ll admit that some dishes were not all to my liking but definitely worth a try! my favorite dishes had to be the tuna in coconut tartlet and the crispy duck. highly recommend making a reservation to try this restaurant out when in saigon!
