Where to Eat at Miami International Airport (MIA), 2023 | Eater Miami
"Noted at the airport for its croquetas and included among the quick-service highlights; benefits from the airport’s MIA2GO contactless ordering and scheduled pick-up functionality so travelers can avoid waiting in queues." - Olee Fowler
Alejandro is fascinating, with a very positive attitude, and ready to help clients with their needs. A little nice joint here at the Miami airport. The coffee flavor is simply amazing.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The person tending the register should know how to communicate in English. Gentleman was defensive when I asked about the status of the order. His confusion led to commotion and an almost missed flight. Instead of trying to correct the mistake he wasted precious airport time explaining to two people behind the counter (in Spanish - which I understood) that I asked for the wrong thing and it was my fault. He also refused to issue a refund.
Do NOT eat here unless you have all day to attempt to communicate with the staff and wait for a cold/dry chicken sandwich with days old lettuce and tomatoes.

One of the best meals I’ve had at an airport—flavorful, healthy, and truly felt homemade! It’s rare to find food this good while traveling. Alejandro was incredibly kind and made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

We ordered the bbq chicken flat bread and the Cuban hot sandwich. The food was okay but I expected better for the price. The pastelito look like it was overflowing but barely had any filling.

The absolute perfect pick me up to grab and go at miami airport. My go-to is the ropa vieja bowl and a cortadito because why not?! Delicious, home-cooked taste that far exceeds any airport food! Plus, service is amazing. Alejandro attended me and was so kind. This will be my stop when at MIA airport.

Service was fast and liked that I could see how the sandwiches looked before purchasing. However, The food was very cold and chicken was very dry. Staff also was not welcoming at all when asked questions, almost as if it was a bother answer anything.

Highly recommend the traditional Cuban sandwich and the croquettes! It is expensive but comparable to prices at other airport restaurants, with better quality food than surrounding places. Service was quick and friendly, and the food is made with high quality ingredients. My husband is used to authentic Cuban food and he liked it so much we got it on both of our layovers through Miami recently.
