I came back to this store after falling in love with a wedding dress I saw months ago. I was excited to try it on again and hopefully make my final decision but the experience was honestly miserable because of how unbearably hot it was inside. I got so lightheaded standing on the podium after trying on my dress I almost walked out without trying anything on at all.
A huge thank you to Debbie and Kathleen, who noticed I looked off and went above and beyond to take care of me. They got me water, sat with me, and made sure I was okay. Their kindness and patience are the only reasons I stayed and ultimately purchased the dress I had originally come back for.
That said, it’s incredibly unfortunate that I now have to pay additional tariff fees because I wasn’t able to purchase the dress during my first visit. I would’ve bought it then and there, but after today, I couldn’t imagine making such a big purchase in that environment. The store was so hot I literally felt sick and left with a headache. Not to mention, the thought of how many other sweaty people had been trying on dresses that day made me extremely hesitant to even touch anything, let alone spend thousands of dollars in-store.
I’ve come to this store multiple times for different events over the years so hate to give it a lower rating but after yesterday if nothing has changed I will make sure I don’t ever come back during the summer weather. I truly hope management addresses the climate issue it’s not fair to the customers or the staff, and it takes away from what should be a special, exciting experience.
