The 25 Best Restaurants In Mexico City

"Estoril has perfected the art of blending French food with Oaxacan flavors, so you’ll find butter-sautéed escamoles, and chipotle meatballs that are slightly too spicy but still incredible, paired with Mexican rice and corn tortillas. Many dishes on the menu start at $15-$20, which is surprisingly affordable for a Polanco restaurant that makes us feel like we’re in a rich, old-school grandmother’s house. The service is super friendly, and this place is always ideal for impressing your date or your date’s parents, preferably with a tequila and sangrita at the ready. Snag a table on the terrace including during the rainy July and August months: it’s covered, airy, and overlooks a tree-lined street." - guillaume guevara

Came for lunch and we VERY much enjoyed the service. We ordered escargot and 2 different chicken entrees. I kind of regret not ordering more apps since that seems to be very popular but we were full from that. Plus the complimentary jicama, cucumber, carrots and bread they give. Note, we went on a Saturday afternoon and there were about 7 other tables and everyone was 55+. So probably not that vibe if you’re coming for like a bachelorette party for example.

10/10 food and service . The staff was extremely attentive and were knowledgeable on the disshes . I felt like a princess here . The atmosphere was calm . I had the mole chicken and it’s one of the best foods I’ve had in Mexico City . I’m not usually into mole back in the states but this blew my mind . It came with rice and beans . My only feedback is it would’ve been nice had there been a little bit more rice.

The restaurant has live classic music from Wednesday to Saturday. It is a very calm restaurant to enjoy a nice dinner. The food (french style) most of it is delicious. The service was great too.

This is a very posh place to eat, so don’t dress to scrubby. Everything there was good, not great. Priced like a restaurant in the US. I’m satisfied with the value for money though, since the service was great and I liked all of the food. The Crème brûlée was amazing!

This is the 2019 winner of the best restaurant in Mexico. The food is great. It's visited by various family generations. Once you go there, like touching the water of the Nile, you will always return!
