Lakewood’s fine‑dining benchmark: polished service, a serious wine list, and dry‑aged steaks. Frequently highlighted by Great Kosher Restaurants Magazine and praised by OpenTable diners; a special‑occasion staple under KCL supervision.

Great options on menu. Delicious. Nice restaurant especially if it's before it gets really busy.

Lovely place to eat, patient with my parents and grandma, they offer cocktails also and a nice selection of food. I’ve been to both the restaurant part and the event space and it seems nice. It’s more of cafe type steakhouse vibe as opposed to a real steakhouse.

Yelp
Poor service. Overpriced. Owner more interested in making money than providing quality food. Been to this restaurant twice and will never return. Goyisha place. Look elsewhere.

Yelp
The food was delicious. We got the Starter Board which was an assortment of appetizers, Asian egg rolls, sweet and sour popcorn chicken, short rib risotto and pulled beef sliders. Everything was yummy. Then we got the Asian-marinated rib eye and the classic rib eye. The Yukon mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, as were the beer battered onion rings. We did have a complaint And when we brought it to the managers attention, she was very courteous and replaced the dish. All in all it was a very enjoyable dinner and we look forward to coming back. Just want to bring something to your attention. The prices on the menu were way higher than those posted online

Yelp
Food here has always been absolutely delicious. They refurnished and refurbished the restaurant now with its own separate entrance and new decor, and it's nice. I enjoy the kosher food and kosher wine. And their steaks are really amazing. The portions are also big which I always appreciate. Also convenient location in the south part of lakewood. Border of Tom's river

Yelp
I've been there many times with as few as a three people and as many as 20. I (we) always have a great meal great service and excellent food. Whenever I'm in Lakewood I always try to have dinner there. Excellent steakhouse and the fact that it's kosher is an added bonus.

Yelp
I just ate here last night and I have loads to say. There are no real upscale Kosher establishments in the area, although there are some that think they are. I am sure you know the ones that think they are. The ones that have crumbling plaster (watch your food), wierd smells, wall sconces from the early 1800's (not bad! antique! Right?) etc...... Anyways, Estreia is in a class of its own. The one thing that hits you right when you come in is the ambiance and the decor. Stunning!! Funky, but classy. Our servers were really helpful. Great recommendations and they were always there fo us when we needed something. Appetizers: I wasn't to impressed. The Mushroom Valenti seemed artificial and wholesale, but looked nice (see picture). And the Oriental Beef Spring Rosl was good, but it seemed very dry. Entree: AMAZING! I got the Asian rib-eye and my spouse got the 28 oz. Cowboy steak. Both were cooked to perfection (both pictured in their beauty). The Cowboy Steak had this peppercorn crusted seasoning that gave it a real kick, and the Asian rib eye had just the right flair of Asian flavors. And the ribeye came with really yummy green beans. Dessert: Chocolate Molten Cake (pictured). It was actually very good. But I was a little unimpressed. Dont bring it out if it collapsed. Either tell us it will be longer for a new one or ask us if we want something else. Pricing: Their pricing is more for NYC, than our area. But at the same time they do have items on the lower upscale end, but it goes all the way up high. All in all. Amazing and I will be back. I gave it a 4 out 5 just because of the issues mentioned above. But I highly recommend this establishment for Kosher lovers.

Yelp
We went there over the summer while visiting the Jersey Shore. Food was good, but pricey. I ordered the steak. I was a little weirded out that we were the only people in the entire restaurant eating there on a Sunday at dinner time.

Yelp
Went last night with my wife and mother in law. Beautiful atmosphere, very clean restaurant. I had the special of baby lamb chops and sirlion beef. It was "off the charts" delicious. I am not a big veggie person, but the zucchini and peppers were awesome. My wife had the potato crusted salmon and left nothing on her plate. My mother in law had the Chilean sea bass with sweet potatoes and white asparagus and she was on cloud nine. She was most amazed with the presentation. Culturally, it is a fascinating experience, most of the patrons are from the Orthodox community, very friendly, and happy to share the meanings of tradition. Our waitress was Jaclynn and she was the best!!! Very knowledgeable, and helpful, and so pleasant to talk to. It is a pricey restaurant but well worth the expense. We will be returning. Thanks Jaclynn Jim

Yelp
A business colleague hosted myself and another colleague for dinner here last night. It was my first visit, and the food was terrific. I especially appreciated that they accommodated a slight change to a salmon dish that I wanted, and my dinner was served piping hot and cooked perfectly (it's easy to overcook a piece of fish; this wasn't). Our server was friendly and attentive which only made it a more enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend. And, yes, as others have said in these comments, the restaurant might be considered a little pricey by some, but I got what I paid for so I don't remember how much it cost; I only remember how much we all enjoyed the food and the experience. Worth the money.

Yelp
Went there a few weeks ago with friends. Pricey but well worth it. Food was absolutely amazing, from the appetizers to the salads to the mains. All of the steaks were perfectly cooked. The service was just as good as the food. The waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Basically this restaurant has the quality and service that you'd come to expect in NYC but in Lakewood. Unfortunately most kosher restaurants in NJ haven't figured this out yet. Like I said, pricey ($180/couple for us all in) but well worth it.

Yelp
Me and my wife went out to celebrate our anniversary The service staff was very very polite very professional and the food was delicious I ordered a skirt steak my wife ordered short ribs we were both very very happy with the food and the service the Decor could use a little bit more life to it little bit too much on the Darkside we would definitely recommend going there and we would go back again

Yelp
The restaurant is very nicely decorated, the service was excellent but the steaks were all overdone. What we ordered to be red came out pink and what we ordered as pink came out tan. Either the chef learned how to cook from my Bubbie or there was a serious miscommunication between the waiter and the chef. Otherwise, the brisket sliders were five stars but the sweetbreads were salty ( you need to soak them before cooking to remove the excess salt). As my farther used to joke, "Otherwise, how was the play Mrs Lincoln?"

Yelp
The lamb was cooked wonderfully though I found it to be a bit too salty. The dishes are pricier than I feel the flavor or experience warrants and the atmosphere is slightly awkward. The building looks shady from the outside but is very nice on the inside. The wait staff seemed very strange and awkward. The Jewish texts and Torah readings that they delivered with the check really added to the awkward experience. All the other patrons were Jewish as evidenced by their yarmulkes. I do t think I'll be revisiting this establishment unless I convert to Judaism.

Yelp
Food was decent but restaurant was dirty. There was food spilled on the floor next to the adjacent table and there was garbage under mine. Multiple employees walked by and did not clean up, which I found surprising. Also asked for a medium-well steak and it came out more medium-rare.

Yelp
Was here over the summer and had such a great experience I swore I would right a review but oops forgot, so here I am few months later. Place has beautiful decor and is elegant. We were seated right away and since the restaurant is big the tables are not so close to each other which is nice because you get some privacy. Waitress so unbelievably friendly and knowledgable about the menu. We were a table of 8 so we ordered a few apps and salads and then everyone got their own dish. I never took pics because we dig right in. The one dish that stood out was the short ribs, they were exceptional! Steak was perfectly cooked, we were all thrilled with the food, atmosphere, and service. Desert was also amazing we got 3 deserts, something chocolatey, maybe an apple crisp type of thing and can't remember the last but what I do remember is the plates were kicked clean. It was pricey but worth every dollar, we all agreed it was better than any steakhouse in ny.

Yelp
We've eaten in Estreia three times over a two-year span, and I am simultaneously delighted and dismayed by this restaurant. The food is undoubtedly delicious, fully deserving of five stars. Eveything we've tried from steak to duck is superb, and since we go in fairly large groups -- last visit with my wife and eleven grandchildren, thirteen persons in all -- we've tried many, if not most of the items on the menu. However, when one pays approximately $100 per person without wine, well-prepared food is simply not enough; one expects, I think, service commensurate with the cuisine. Here, Estreia simply does not measure up. Our last visit was early on a Sunday evening, where my family and I were the only guests in the place. Several servers were sitting in the hallway where the washing station and rest rooms are located, playing with their cell phones while we waited for bread to be brought to the table. As most Kosher consumers will know, it is required to wash one's hands and make a blessing over bread prior to a meal. There was no bread near the washing sink (unlike virtually every other Kosher restaurant anywhere in the world) and despite an assurance that bread would be brought immediately, that didn't happen for a total of 11 minutes, while I and others in our party sat in stunned silence. Other service flaws include delivering entrees at widely spaced intervals, not bringing some of the kids their French fries until the desserts of others was already on the table (and then charging for them even though they were sent back), not having coffee, and other issues. In short, excellent food, horrible service, and an overall unpleasant experience at a meal that set me back a thousand dollars!

Yelp
We were looking forward to a nice elegant supper with delicious food and great service. The ambiance is nice. Other that that we were really disappointed. After we were seated, the waiter said he would give us a minute to make our decision. 15 minutes later he finally came back. There were only 2 other parties there at the time. The menu was expensive. The food was okay but not amazing as should befit the prices. I had lamb chops over couscous. I've tasted eay better lamb chops. The description included mint. There was no mint flavor at all. My spouse had the special which included duck, rib eye, and two sides. The duck was dry. The steak was okay. The sides he chose was fried and sauteed spinach. The spinach was embarrassing. We could not believe it was served. It looked like a soup and tasted nasty. As can be imagined, it was fully left over. Noone asked how we are enjoying our meal. When the waiter cleaned off our plate we asked for our check. Took them 10 min to get it. I do not anticipate trying them again

Yelp
I needed a nice restaurant to take my non Jewish boss for a business dinner. He is a wine connoisseur and a gourmet food lover. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our wine, meal and dessert. My boss was so excited about his Orthodox Jew experience. He got a kick out of the books that were delivered with the bill and appreciated the gratitude we express when finishing a meal. I'll be back!

Yelp
Hubby and I were looking for a nice steakhouse in the area, so we went to Estreia. The restaurant wasn't so easy to find, since there is no sign on the exterior of the building indicating the restaurant's name. We were the first ones there (they had just opened), were greeted and seated right away. Decor was nice, although the room was very dark and the acoustics were terrible, so as the night progressed, we could hear everyone else's conversations as though they were sitting right next to us. The menu was pretty basic for a steakhouse, but there was nice variety and several items looked good. Both Hubby and I ended up having the Prince cut 16 oz Prime Rib (we skipped the appetizer because the entrée portion was so big). They arrived quickly, and the presentation was ok but not unique. The steaks were well seasoned and cooked perfectly, and paired well with the mushroom sauce with which they were served. The mashed potatoes served alongside needed a bit more flavor; they were described as caramelized onion, although the onion flavor was weak. The menu said the steak was served with spinach, however we received squash, which was cooked well but needed a bit of salt. All in all, it was a positive experience. That steak was really something special and service was quite good. I would recommend Estreia if you are looking for a luxurious steakhouse experience.
