Estro Vino e Cucina

"Situated slightly off the beaten track, this modern wine bar is also a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine accompanied by a selection of 700 organic wines. Snacks are available at aperitif hour." - Michelin Inspector

23 Best Restaurants in Venice

"When bearded brothers Dario and Alberto Spezzamonte opened Estro in 2014, Venice offered little in the way of food-forward wine bars with a hipster edge. Estro filled the gap and still sets a high bar; the food always impresses, the locale is stylish, and the vibe, though young, feels welcoming to all. Though sharp, industrial-chic style is definitely a factor here, it’s the wide selection of natural wines and the carefully crafted fare—Venetian-inspired but imaginative—that are the important players." - Anne Hanley

Had the tasting menu here - all good to excellent but lacked a certain something. I’m not sure Italian cooking overly suited to small plates to be honest. Worth a try. €65 euros for 3 courses and dessert. Ok value I suppose.

Estro offers modern, creative cuisine that still honors Venetian tradition. Every dish is beautifully executed, blending local flavors with contemporary touches.

Google
Lovely food with great service and selection of wines. The highlight dish were the specials of the day, which was the local razor clams, cooked very simply but super fresh. Also really loved the ‘venetian-style’ starter. I think the slight letdown were the desserts as we tried non-traditional dishes, which were okay and unfortunately didn’t impress as too much.

Google
Wow, fantastic dinner. Paccheri with deer ragu, sirloin steak for two, killer wine list, amazing service. This place has it all. Will definitely be back anytime I’m in Venice.

We had a great dinner at Estro Vino e Cucina! They had a great wine selection and recommendations, and we started with the cheese plate. Afterwards we enjoyed a fabulous meal of cuttlefish risotto, steak, and roasted guineafowl leg. Food and wine was fantastic and made for a memorable experience in an amazing city! I would recommend getting a reservation as every table was booked and people were getting turned away at the door.

Google
Fabulous food, and very reasonably priced. 4 to 5 starter items on the menu. We had a scallop salad. Primi of Risotto was delicious. We had a Cod entree and a Amberjack Entree - yum.

Google
I booked a table and mortgaged my credit card online. But when I walked into the restaurant, they repeatedly confirmed whether I had a reservation or not. When I sat down, no one greeted me and gave me the menu. Most of the dishes were not explained, especially desserts. I can't believe they brought me cookies from the supermarket and said "from their mom's kitchen?" A restaurant with no advantages.

Yelp
The city's best wine bar. (I agree with professional reviewers). It also happens to serve excellent, traditional Venetian classics. Its contemporary design, friendly staff, and outstanding value for the money add to the enjoyment of this 30 seat eatery. As with all good Italian eateries, the seafood, proteins, and produce are exceptionally fresh and sourced from the region. The produce has the telltale saltiness found in everything grown in Venezia. Tip: Order family style and share. Portions are huge. Straight to the food, the "traditional Venetian starter", their interpretation of cicchetti is exceptionally well done. The scampi in saor, sweet shrimp and onions in mild vinegar. Grilled octopus with cannellini bean foam, so tender, eaten together, the flavor mimics tuna. The baccala mantecato with polenta chips, pungent (ie smells like the canals) but tempered by strong peppery flavor of the rich EVOO. Massive umami finish. All good eats. A plate of razor clams done traditionally and finished with EVOO, perfect. Sweet, plump, tender, and juicy. The restaurant's signature "Veal Shank Cooked at Low Temperature", a sous vide veal shank served boneless in a sauce made from the cooking jus reduction and mounted with pumpkin cream, outstanding. It screams autumn when combined with the earthy cardoncelli mushrooms. Finally, an Italian "Pork Steak" with roasted seasonal veg from the Rialto market. Stunning. A double cut pork chop the size of a huge porterhouse steak in the US, cooked mid rare. Deep porky flavor sans the sweetness usually found in US breeds. Juicy but lacks fat marbling. Eat the absolutely delicious fat cap for richness. Outstanding paired with the roasted potatoes, mushrooms, leeks and yes, bok choy. Excellent wine book (iPad sized). Heavy emphasis on the Veneto and highlighting winemakers doing something special ie preserving the biodynamic methods of winemaking or preserving traditional grape varietals). Use the som. His recommendations are outstanding. As already mentioned, outstanding Italian service. High energy and fun. One month advance reservations required for both lunch and dinner. Fluent English. Seriously one of the best meals in the city bar none.

Yelp
TLDR: A cozy, intimate spot near the Frari Basilica serving contemporary Venetian cuisine and a standout natural wine list. Excellent service, thoughtful presentation, and high-quality cooking make Estro a strong recommendation while in Venice. General Info: Just a short walk from the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, Estro - Vino e Cucina is a warm, inviting wine bar and restaurant offering modern Mediterranean dishes rooted in Venetian tradition. Run by brothers Alberto and Dario Spezzamonte, it combines relaxed hospitality with refined cooking and a serious dedication to natural wines (over 600 labels from sustainable producers). The intimate space seats no more than 30 guests and has a rustic yet polished charm, with walls lined with wine bottles and thoughtful design touches throughout. Murano glassware and artful plating elevate the aesthetic without feeling pretentious. Service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable from start to finish; I felt well taken care of without being rushed. Food: Every dish I had was flavorful, well-executed, and presented with care. The warm sourdough bread was a great start. A raw fish starter of the day featured pristine oysters, perfectly cooked prawns, and delicious tuna, all paired thoughtfully with radish and lettuce for texture and balance. I also sampled starters from other members of my party: a traditional Venetian antipasto (with baccalà mantecato, grilled octopus, and scampi in saor) and a rich poached egg with asparagus and goat cheese foam. The latter was especially indulgent and well-balanced. I got the bigoli in salsa, which was a standout: the noodles had a perfect bite, and the anchovy sauce was creamy, salty, and deeply satisfying. Another member of my party got the pea risotto, which was just as strong, creamy, fresh, and well-seasoned. My main dish, the pan-seared amberjack, came with crispy skin, tender flesh, and a rich, creamy garlic and anchovies sauce that tied it all together beautifully. For dessert, I ordered the tiramisú, which was expertly executed and pleasantly light, though I didn't quite catch the boozy note that was supposed to be in it. Overall, the food more than justified the price (about €20 for starters and €30 for mains), and the presentation far surpassed expectations at this level. Overall Thoughts: Estro is a very solid restaurant. It hits all the key notes: seasonal, skillfully cooked food; a fantastic wine list; beautiful presentation; and genuinely good service. The attention to detail, like Murano glassware and artful plating, adds a special touch without trying too hard. I reserve five stars for truly life-changing meals, but Estro came close. If you're in Venice and want a modern, thoughtful take on local cuisine, this should absolutely be on your list.

Yelp
Estro was very unique and private experience. They take a ton of pride in what they do but I felt Estro all the being a Michelin star restaurant lacked in the "wow" factor. The service was far a beyond excellent but lacked in elevated dishes. It seemed to rely on hype and esthetics over flavor. Could come across as harsh but there are many local budget friendly restaurants in Venice that would be a better option for your trip. The wine selection was impressive though.

Yelp
On our last night in Venice we wanted to try something amazing! Luckily, we stumbled upon Estro! Everything we had was mouthwatering, satisfying, and tasty! The restaurant had a prefixed menu, but I think everyone at the table has to order the prefixed menu... They serve complimentary bread and each one at the table receives a mini rice ball, bread ball, and a side of soup. Wish I knew what they each were called! So good! Anyway, we decided against it and ordered the beef brisket and the artichoke pasta between the two of us. The artichoke pasta was sooooo delicious! Very flavorful. One downside is the portion size. It is small for what you pay for. Next, the brisket. It was amazing!!!!! The meat was tender and melted right into our mouths. We didn't leave hungry despite the small portion sizes! It was the right amount of food. Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5

Yelp
They brought out a complimentary amuse-bouche that I'm still thinking about nearly two weeks later. A perfect little nugget of fritto misto accompanied by a small ramekin with a delicious sauce. The fritto misto was suspended on the end of a stick which was being supported at an angle by a small hole in the plate. The whole set-up was evocative of a stick of incense burning in a dorm room. It was art. And some of the best fritto misto I had on the trip. The only thing we bumped on was I had really been looking forward to trying their extremely affordable tasting menu but we were informed that it was only possible if the entire table ordered it, which was not going to happen. So we instead built our own version of the tasting menu by ordering all of the same dishes a la carte. It was disappointing but I get it, it's their joint and I'm sure they have their reasons.

Yelp
If you like wine, you will like ESTRO (Vino E Cucina). As you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a nice wine bar. It has tables for about 10 people and a nice area to stand at the bar. The bottled wine selection is extensive. It looked like there were about 12-15 open bottles to sample. We were there for dinner, so after testing a few of the local wines we sat down in the main restaurant section. The seating area is not too large so make reservations. Their menu selection is small but creative. We shared a number of recommendations and we happy with each selection. The mixed meat tray was excellent and we tried a special pasta dish that was both creative and tasty. Service was solid. Overall, a really excellent restaurant with reasonable prices.

Yelp
Casual | Chic Rustic Bar | Limited seating | English menu | App: Meat platter special Came with steak tartare, salt cod w/ unions/ veal tongue in broccoli sauce Platter was good to share with bread. Got to try it all and was a good light portion. The steak tartare wasn't as mind-blowing as I thought though. The broccoli sauce was quite strong. Main: - Shrimp and seafood spaghetti All the seafood in Venice taste fresher than north america and this is no exception. The pasta was made al dente chewy with an Asian spin on sauce. Very nice. - Baked amberjack filet w/ almond sauce The fish was nice and thick with good slim portion. The almond paste sauce was strong in flavour. Overall the food is great and service is nice. I'd recommend it except during 230-6pm when they're closed.

Yelp
Very good, accommodating service. I was on my own and called ahead. I was told they would be expecting me. I booked a table for 8:45 giving me plenty of times for all the twists and turns I anticipated on the way from San Marco. I arrived around 8:35 and was seated immediately. The place has a beautiful ambience. I'm not a wine drinker and ordered a glass of red with my meal; a tagliatelle with a flavorful sauce, mussels and chick peas. A very simple dish presented in the center of a large plate making it look like a very small portion. It was not a lot of food but it was very good and sufficiently filling. I would come back to try something else. I was brought a small taste of I'm not sure what, to start, It was very tasty. A nice touch. And finally the bread, some of the best I've tasted. This is a wine bar and has an extensive collection, so if that's what you want, you would do very well here. I am curious about the lack of current reviews. I'm posting because this place deserves something more recent. I was recommended the place by a local couple I met at dinner the night before. It was a good call. The service was very good, friendly and helpful in ensuring my food met my dietary needs. Highly recommended.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to visit Estro because of its style and the amazing description of the numerous awards it had won. We ordered and shared the veal steak, ravioli, beef, and the tiramisu for dessert. Everything was wonderful, especially the beef and the ravioli, which I heartily recommend! To accompany our meal, we asked our server to recommend a wine from the Venetian region. He did, and the bottle turned out to be both incredible and the perfect pairing for our meal. I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant to everyone, and look forward to returning :-)

Yelp
Our dinner at Estro was our favorite meal in Italy. The guys were so attentive, and sweet towards our teen and tween. Food was artfully presented and so interesting and delicious! Highly recommend. You can reserve online a week in advance. I would suggest dressing up just a little if, like us, you spent the day touring in shorts and T-shirts; we were glad we did.

Yelp
There are literally hundreds of places to eat and drink in Venice and we ended up at Estro primarily because it was close to our hotel and looked like pretty cool place to have some wine. Well we totally lucked out because this was better than any other place we tried in town. To be fair we only had a cheese plate and wine so I can't speak to the food per se, but the place was chock full later on a Sunday evening not anywhere near the Grand Canal so that's saying something for sure. We loved the good selection of white and red wines by the glass and we sampled quite a few. The cheese plate was spectacular and the wines from various regions ran from solid to excellent with the most expensive glass costing 6 euros. Most were 4-5. Coming from California, where a glass usually starts at about $10. That's pretty good value.

Yelp
So, I will start by saying I entered this restaurant under the impression it was amazing, all while wearing a t-shirt and shorts. No dress code was mentioned so how I was dressed did not come to mind when I decided to eat here for dinner. As for why I wore shorts, I'm on vacation in a hot area, that is what I wear. At first glance, one of the staff asked how many and I said "due" (two). He then looked at us, whispered to a colleague, and then placed us in the back corner. At first, I tried to overlook it but this was a huge sign I chose to ignore for what the rest of the night would eventually bring. The waiter maybe took 20 minutes just to offer us water and at that point, gave us the wine menu. The wine we chose was apparently not available so he offered another. This can happen but the price was per bottle. As other tables had the whole bottle at their table, the server only asked if we wanted another glass. I even asked if I was getting the bottle but he just said he'd refill. If I'm getting charged for a bottle, I should get the whole bottle. We were charged for each individual glass when I saw the bill, which ended up more than what the bottle of what we wanted would have cost. Not something that would break the bank but didn't sit right with me. Food: Meat selection appetizer. Note - the pic associated to my review will be the positioning mentioned below. Top left brown - gamey and fatty (good with mustard) Lower left - tender and savory Center - spicy with a taste similar to pork shoulder Right - fatty and creamy Mustard - coarse and rustic with a hint of spice Homemade apricot chutney - sweet (good with asparagus and center meat) Asparagus - bitter Homemade pickled pepper - great by myself Gnocci - overcooked and needed salt. The beef cheek was not as tender as I'd hoped. Should have cooked the Gnocci less and the meat more; low and slow makes a tough meat more tender. Passatelli - the 20 year aged cheese sounded fantastic. Oh was I so wrong. It literally was a basic chicken stock poured over a short thick version of spaghetti. Barely tasted the cheese to be honest. Lacked flavor. I suspect they ran out of salt by the time they were cooking for us. Titamasu - great balance of the marscapone cheese and espresso. The cheese almost had a custard-like texture. Different take on the dessert but was still delicious. Overall thoughts: Emotion aside - This is a place to grab drinks and maybe an appetizer or dessert when out on a night with friends. Be sure to dress up as this is a higher end place. The interior was very minimalistic but artsy. Looked very cool seeing the different glass designs hanging from the ceiling. Emotion included - The staff seemed very judgy and if not avoiding us, forgot some items as I had to ask for espresso and a cappuccino several times. Regardless of how I'm dressed down or looked like a tourist, my money is still good. I could have been a millionaire DJ or Snoop Dog's dealer. This was my last night in Venice and though the bill was by far the most expensive of any meal I had in Italy, the quality was also the lowest. As a Yelp Elite, I'm embarrassed for this place to have 5 stars on Yelp, as it clearly did not deserve such a high standing on this platform. The owner, chefs, and staff should bow their heads in shame.

Yelp
I had the best lunch in Venezia at Estro. The menu changes daily in order to serve the freshest ingredients. We arrived at lunch about 1/2 hour early and the chefs were still working on the menu. We had a glass of wine and was impressed by the large wine selection. Not only did Estro had wines from all over Europe, they also had ones from obscure regions of the U.S. that I did not even know produced wine. After we were shown the menu, we ordered: * Chilled Tomato Soup * "Crispy Egg": Foamed Egg with Shaved Truffles and Crispy Bread Crumbs * Pappardelle with Pork and Chives Ragu * Speck, Burrata, and Asparagus Puree Flatbread Everything was fantastic, but my favorite was definitely the "Crispy Egg." I wanted to order another serving if I was not so full from everything else. The only regret I have now is not going back for dinner and trying to figure out if I like its lunch or dinner better.

Yelp
The location on yelp is incorrect. And the restaurant doesn't open till 12:30 though it says 12 on the door. I waited half an hour to 12pm and the staffs were eating pizza inside and wouldn't even let me wait inside. Time wasted lots of other good restaurants close by.
google avatar

Adriano M.

Yelp
Estro was a very pleasant surprise for us here in Venice. We ordered the Tagliata steak that was succulent, and the Spaghetti alle Vongole which was heavenly. The assorted cured meat appetizer plate was also world class. The selection of wines was quite extensive, and the Chianti Classico that we had was excellent. The great September weather helped too. The restaurant is in a room behind the bar, and wasn't crowded at all. We spent a very reasonable 39 euros per person on Sept 15, 2018.

Yelp
I'm a bit late on writing my reviews from my Italy trip, but Estro is a place I haven't forgotten. I specifically remember the best Gazpacho I have ever had at this restaurant. I'm serious. It. Was. Delicious. It had the most flavor out of any Gazpacho I had throughout my trip (and I say this because after eating this, I figured I loved all Gazpacho, so at any restaurant, I ordered it). It was also by far the most beautiful. Also, as a vegan, it was nice to have such an accommodating chef who was willing to make me specially vegan pasta which was delicious. My family ordered all kinds of different seafood and meat and said everything was amazing. Make sure you ask the waiter/chef what they recommend and just order it. You will LOVE it! Obviously, the wine was all very good as well. Would definitely return and recommend to all visitors of beautiful Venice!

Yelp
The meat menu in March 2019 left much to be desired. Negative points: couldn't taste that well the 3 y/o cheese on the passatelli and the chicken stock is pretty regular, the lamb was hard and not that tasty. Positive points: really tender veal tongue and good tiramissu. The service was very slow due to the lack of staff, only two waiters were serving all the customers. Difficult to believe that this place is recommended on the Michelin Guide. You can pay less for better food. At least, don't try the meat degustation menu.

Yelp
I passed by this restaurant once while on my search for the Tonolo Bakery next door. When I looked at the menu, I thought that it was a little bit too pricey for lunch, so I decided to look for other options. Surprisingly, yelp's reviews brought me back here. Although the duck ragout didn't make me cry into my plate, I think this place is worthy of a 3.5, which I will round up to a 4. And here is why: DECOR: This is the place for those want an intimate setting with a small wine/coffee bar that greets you once you enter, with shelves of wine in all 4 walls. It's very hip and rustic, definitely going for that modern and classy ambience. Wooden chairs and tables, small menu, and only seat about 20 max. Their restrooms are clean, which is a bonus. But, I did find it odd that they didn't turn on the AC during my 3.5 hour dining experience here. But, it wasn't suffocatingly hot, so I didn't mind it too much. LOCATION: This is next to Tonolo Bakery in Dorsoduro. It's also pretty close to the train station, so it's a good place for lunch or dinner before leaving Venice or when you first arrive. FOOD: You can go big or small in terms of how much you want to spend here. There are a few bite size pre-made sandwich options that costs roughly around 2 euros per sandwich and they also have a menu for you to choose from. My boyfriend and I had time to waste, so we decided to get their Estro Tasting Menu (36 euros), which includes beef tartare with black truffle, tortelli ragout, water, dessert, espresso. In order for you to order the tasting menu, your entire party has to order it as well. The beef tartare was pretty yummy. It was my first time eating it, so I don't really have anything else to base it on. The tortelli was well made, but I didn't like the sauce too much. It was a little bit too salty for me. Based on previous reviews, I also expected a "whoa! This is delicious!" upon my first bite...which I regretfully didn't get. For dessert, we got a cheesecake and a tiramisu. The cheesecake was definitely good...but don't expect it to be a NY style type of cheesecake. This one was light, fluffy, and creamy. My tiramisu was just okay. I've had better elsewhere. I think there wasn't enough coffee zing at the bottom for me. For coffee, they only offered espresso shots, and so that was what we got. It was basic. We also decided to get a bottle of wine during our time here. They didn't have a wine menu, which was kinda disappointing because I personally wanted to read over what they have and decide what I want...and maybe decide after a few of their recommendations. But, we told her what we wanted and a guy later came out with a 26 euro bottle of wine that had a hint of Cabernet. I personally thought it was just okay. I prefer my red wines to be drier and spicer. Our bill came out to be 99 euros, which isn't bad for what we got. And we left the restaurant very full. SERVICE: Yes, everyone who served us spoke English. They were kind and speedy in getting what we requested. But, remember that dining in Italy is a little bit different...don't expect to leave in under an hour if you're getting a 3 course meal, which was why we spent 3.5 hours here. Overall, I have this place a solid 3.5 because nothing really stood out to me, in terms of their cuisine. Will I dine here again? Probably not....I'm usually the type that gives second chances, but there are so many other restaurants in Venice worth trying and this restaurant didn't give me the WOW factor. But, Will I get a drink or two here? Sure. The ambience is super hip and it definitely gives off a good vibe.

Yelp
A quiet little wine bar off the beaten path in Venice. It was a great place to escape the tourist crowds and find a little peace with staff recommendations on Italian wines and a nice cheese platter of Italian cheeses in several varieties.

Yelp
I stumbled across this place a couple of weeks ago and am thrilled to see the other reviews here. My stay was in the Dorsoduro area which is a great location to the train station as well as the Grand Canal, but far enough "in" to avoid the huge Summer throngs. This is a modern-day wine bar in a centuries-old building that also serves food on high-top tables surrounded by various wines by the bottle for sale. My first visit I did a few tastings then selected a bottle that was about 8 euros. They basically give wine away at Estro! The following day I stepped in for a rest and enjoyed a wonderful meat and cheese plate that we sort of invented together. The selection of meats are excellent; the cheeses are fewer but well-chosen. The staff is all English-speaking and as we built my plate they joined in by choosing free "samples" to go with the various bites. You can't beat free! They also sell chilled wine, though you have to ask.

Vince F.

Yelp
Lovely food. The poached egg ratatouille was interesting and excellent. Staff was helpful with wine pairings and overall very pleasant.

Yelp
A new age take on local food traditions, this is a most welcome addition to the Vence food scene. A very avant gard wine list, with some brilliant discoveries, and a few klinkers, sure to please the wine adventurer.

Yelp
My friend and I were dying to check out this place because of the reviews. However, we were quickly disappointed when we arrived. We went up to the front and asked if we could be seated. The man at the front basically looked us up and down and said no, that there was no room left. We were disappointed and proceeded to walk away when two more groups of people walked right in. They were not turned down by this man - he said nothing to them and started taking their drink order. How rude is this for anyone to do?? I guess they did not want Americans in the restaurant so we took our money elsewhere where we purchased a bottle of wine and lots of food. I do not recommend this place as it showed terrible customer service.
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
The best meal we had in Italy! The tasting menu was perfect from start to finish. We also asked for a wine pairing with each dish and it was amazing. We also came in two other nights just for wine and cheeses. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely be back the next time I am in Venice.

Yelp
My pal and I went here for some eats before dinner (they eat dinner super late in Europe) and we had a great experience. We tried the cheese and meat platter, which was to die for. I don't remember the specifics but it was meat and cheese and I was a very happy gal. Also ordered some great wine that totally hit the spot. This is a small spot that is run by two brothers, so please keep that in mind when waiting to order or pay for your bill. It's a good place for a small group and enjoying some great food.

Yelp
Our first night in Venice and what a beautiful way to start! The food was amazing and the staff was wonderful. Go here.

Yelp
I cannot describe how amazing this restaurant is. I ordered the duck ragu and nearly cried into my plate. It was FANTASTIC. Our waiter was very nice and very helpful. The wine was great, the appetizers tasty and you MUST get the duck ragu. Very cute place, make a reservation.

Yelp
Amazing meal! Amazing wine selection. I highly recommend this place and this general area outside St. Marks square.

Flynne R.

Yelp
The best place to eat in ALL of Venice!! Venice is not exactly known for good food and is known as more of a tourist attraction with tourist trap restraunts. But Estro is fantastic!! Their a wine bar and restraunt in the Dorsoduro area. On our second night in Venice we chose to eat at this place. The people that work there speak English and were so incredibly nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about all of the wine they serve. The eggplant Parmesean was our favorite dish and the dessert wine that came with dessert cookies was the best! We even came back to this place on our last night in Venice to just have some wine. They serve a great glass of wine for as little at 2 euro...A real deal because the wine is amazing! If you're in venice and looking for a great place to eat for some authentic italian cuisine go here! It's a true hidden gem!!

Yelp
What a find. Fabulous cichetti -- small bites that are like sandwiches, many under 2 euros. It's part of the slow food movement, and everything is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Lots of vegetarian options as well as cichetti with ham, mushrooms, and salami. Wines range from 2.50 euros up. Amazing.

Yelp
Loved this place! Nice clean, great food, good wine all at reasonable prices. Seems more of a younger crowd and it is casual-- order at the bar and just sit down.

Yelp
Very simple but beautiful place. We had brunch there the other day with tentative staff, interesting and tasty menu. It definitely felt that restaurant is strongly moving forward in culinary arena in Venice. Strongly recommend to dine in this place.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant on my 3 day trip here. Food was beautiful. Service was efficient and friendly. Really enjoyed my night here.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place and had a few drinks. Great drinks, great prices (for Venice), nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Also the air conditioning was great for a break from the august heat

Mick W.

Yelp
Estro served up the best meal I had in Venice. White asparagus were in season, and the dish I chose highlighted the asparagus fantastically. I was in Venice on a solo trip, and the waitstaff made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. They also recommended perfect wines for each course. I will definitely return to Estro.

Yelp
i stopped in for lunch and had a rare homemade delicacy called "musette" basically minced pork cheek patties along with other accoutrements and lovely sauces. the service was relaxed and wonderful. this restaurant was a rare find. fast forward venetian dining built upon the traditions but then some. great wine selections with wine available for purchase to take home as well. i had a tchoppelino. the staff were super helpful. the one slight language related misunderstanding was cleared up post-haste, unlike other spots i've been in Italy. wonderful experience. cozy, not touristic.
