"Catch-Your-Breath Views from Einstein's Alma Mater Paris has the Sacré-Coeur, on top of Montmartre, for catch-your-breath views of the city. Zurich’s answer: the terrace at ETH Zurich . Also known as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and where Einstein was an alum, it lords high above the city for prime views beyond to the lake, the Uetliberg, and the Alps. The bQm café and bar lets you pair that stellar view with a drink."

One of the most beautiful places and views I have ever seen! I visited as a tourist just for the city view. Having coffee on the terrace and riding down by cable car was such a lovely experience. The inside of the building is majestic and very impressive!

The main building of the ETH, great location on a terrace, overlooking the city, below the terrace are the mensa and sports facilities. Many auditoriums, study rooms, and library 📚 ETH Zürich is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading universities for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Modern Campus and Facilities, The university offers a modern, well-equipped campus in Zürich, providing students and researchers access to state-of-the-art resources and laboratories. Highly recommended 👍🏼 😀

The buildings look old on the outside, but highly modern on the inside - the old entrance doors are motion activated. We checked out Albert Einstein’s locker at main building level F, it is a fascinating way to remember one of the whole’s most famous scientist.

Centrally located space for learning. Several bicycle parking spots around. Fast wlan. Good lighting solutions. Impressive paintings and sculptures in several places. Cool pop up coffee stands near the buildings. Idea for improvement: Quiet individual work spaces.

Sorry, there are no reviews in English... What? Are you kidding me? Oh right, international students seldom eat out in other places than the Mensa, true.. ETH is (unarguably) Switzerland's best university and the best university of Continental Europe. It is a Polytechnic Institute, so any topic you choose to study here will have a strong mathematical / theoretical touch to it. ETH students (especially Bachelors) seldom have a happy life. The competition is high, exams tough and professors are stingy in giving grades. But that's ETH and that's its mentality: high quality standards are hard to reach and no pain, no gain. That's also why Swiss people have a high respect for ETH and its students (unlike other universities in other countries of the world). For Master and PhD level, all courses and research are conducted in English. High percentage of students and professors even are non Swiss, so fitting in is not a challenge from a background perspective. Graduating from ETH offers one with a great recommendation and starting point for any university in the world, as well as for any company in Switzerland.
