I was very impressed for my first time experience. The half chicken rotisserie was flavorful and moist. It was very fresh and still warm when I got home. The Crispy Pork Belly was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The side were very good. The French Fries was delicious, and flavorful. The Garlic Rice was also tasty. Salad was crisp and fresh. Portion size is good for the that you get. Service was very friendly and efficient.

Not bad, the food feels like home cooked by your Filipino mom. Hate the fact they dont give free water. Asked for a napkin and the guy literally gave me 1 napkin haha! Loved the vibe when their relatives came when we ate. Will come back, love the pares, highly recommend. The crispy pork sisig is not warm, wish they had sizzling pork sisig instead. Garlic rice over java rice any day of the week. Mabait yung owner.

Ethan's Belly Boink will make your belly boink forsure! This spot is a go to for some authentic home style Filipino cuisine in the South Bay. The shop is located in a smaller plaza with a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 4-5 tables for seating. As for their menu, they have all the staples ranging from chicken, beef, pork, to seafood. Wifey and I stopped by for lunch and got the Crispy Pork Belly and Grilled Pork Belly combos with double scoops of garlic rice. The portions were generous and the food definitely hit the spot! Overall, this is a great fast casual Filipino spot for dine in or takeout. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Come stop by and support this awesome Filipino owned business!

I recently stopped by and tried their sisig, and it was absolutely delicious - flavorful and perfectly cooked. The food was a real standout and made the visit memorable. The staff was polite and welcoming, though a bit more attentiveness would have been a nice touch. The place was quiet and laid-back, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it's a great spot with fantastic food, and I'd happily come back with friends if I'm in the area again!

Great Food, Ceubuchon was very flavorful, street food, Longanisa and Garlic Rice was delicious. Halo-Halo and Mais con yelo was spot on for the dessert (right amount of sweetness!). Dining area was clean and spacious, staff is very friendly and helpful. They are planning on hosting Karaoke Friday and Saturday Nights.. Happy Hour starts 3pm until 6pm Monday to Friday.

Possibly the best Filipino joint in the South Bay. Next door is a more traditional "turo turo" style Filipino eatery by the same owners but if you want excellent sisig, belly lechon, and Pinoy BBQ this is the spot!

Ordered for lunch pick up at opening and were told lechon belly would be ready at noon. Arrived at 12:10 and sure enough, the lechon belly was barely coming out of the kitchen. Our complete order wasn't ready until closer to 12:30. However, once I dug into my platter, it was all worth it. Freshness of the lechon was amazing, perfectly seasoned, tender/juicy, with addicting crispy skin. However, the homemade sarsa was a miss for me, too sweet and didn't cut into the fatty richness of the pork. We also ordered the a la carte sisig and like many others have stated, needs to be reheated in a pan to get crispy if taking it to-go. The sisig is also amazing in its own rite. Highly recommend but Im sure my MD wouldn't for cholesterol sake.

I got the halo-halo ice cream, it's really good and I also got the crispy pork belly with a side of adobo rice and fries; that one brown sauce that they gave me was really good. The color was like a dark brownish and the flavor was salty/ sour. 10/10 would recommend people to try this place

Service: Needed a small party tray in a short turnaround time (same day). After a quick phone call, I settled on this restaurant. They had my tray available within the hour. 5 of 5 stars Food: Ordered the Grilled Pork Belly. The food was flavorful and my guests appreciated it however justifying the nearly $90 for what I paid for in comparison to the portions of the half tray. Seems steep to me but I needed it and they delivered. 4 of 5 stars Overall: Since I'm not from the area, I relied on Yelp to provide me good Filipino food recommendations and it did not disappoint. Ethan's was just a few doors from another restaurant that served nearly the exact same items. Ill probably try the other restaurant next time and compare. I do recommend that you ask friends/family for recommendations as there might be cheaper options since Filipino restaurants are abundant in the Carson area. Tip: They do charge a % service fee if you pay with a CC. Debit card is good as cash.

Very small place. Lady had attitude when she took my order. Only 2 tables and no one bothered to clean the only table open. It still had 4 cups of water on it that people drank and table was dirty. She has 2 tables and she can't even clean them. Other restaurants have 30 and have 2 employees and still can keep tables clean. Lechon was ok but not all the skin was crispy.

Umm...$15.99 for emaciated looking pieces of beef short ribs. I am sorry but the portion is bull$hit. How does this make sense? Crispy Pork Belly portion is good and it taste good. I give 4 stars

Friends and I were at the Filipino Independence Day event and saw Ethan's Belly Boink with a long line, so we decided to try it. We waited an hour in line and wanted to share between different Entrees, I ordered the Crispy Pork Sisig for $14. More than half the container is rice and the "crispy" pork Sisig was not crispy at all. I ended up only taking a few bites and frying it at home myself since it was not crispy and gelatinous. I hope the restaurant location is better than the pop up here.

Went to check out Halohalo getting much recommendations on Yelp. Found the Halohalo OKAY but not truly one to rave about. Yes, more gulaman and beans, but no leche flan ( as expected in a "special halohalo) . We were directed to the newly opened sister restaurant next door where the lady seemed friendly. The lechon kawali was chewy, not crunchy. The other restaurant next door did not have as friendly servers

Craving for Lechon kawali, a bit disappointed as it's not as crispy as it should be. Service was quick, called and I was told it will be ready within 7minutes. It has ample room for dining in inside. Overall it was just fine.

After visiting a VW show in Long Beach and showing homes in the South Bay we wanted some genuine Filipino food and this smaller restaurant was rated as one of the best... for a good reason. Michelle is an awesome host, very talkative and informative. My mother-in-law was born and raised in Pampanga and the roots of the restaurant are Pampangan as well. Sisig and Silog were very nice, halo halo a welcome palette cleanser. Parking was not difficult, even though we arrived at around 1pm on a Saturday. 10/10, highly recommended!

I read a few review about the sisig before I came here.. and I was worried but they were wrong! It's quiet crispy.. but you have to eat it straight away, I took a bite in my car and took it home and put it in the oven. I really loved the taste! I would come back here just for that! The crispy pork belly was bomb diggity! Also would come back to it aka cart. I got it with Garlic Rice. Would be perfect if rice was more garlicky than I received but all good the swine is great! While I was waiting for the food I ordered halo halo and sat there. They had a good Chanel on the screen that I found entertaining to watch. :) the restaurant was clean and the lady serving was also super sweet! I will come back again! Xx

The food is so good here! The lechon was a hit at my daughter's first birthday. Everyone talked about it and even said that it was the best lechon they've ever had! I also love their sisig and liempo. The food is just amazing! Thank you also for your hospitality! This is one of our favorite Filipino restaurants now!

Upon arrival greeted with a smile, they really made you feel welcomed. Nice menu selections and reasonable prices. The best part if you really not feeling like eating food from the Philippines you can go right next door.and order the seafood bags and they also have great menu prices and choices. Today we ordered the whole chicken with 2 sides this was less than 25 bucks and very filling by the way. Chicken was seasoned very well and juicy. Cooked perfectly all the way through. This also come with a dipping sauce I don't know what it's called but it's really good. Don't forget to try the beef soup broth that's really good. Very healthy eating can't go wrong. Oh let me not for get about that garlic rice it's like Crack you can't stop eating it. Trust me pull up on them you won't be disappointed

I saw this on Yelp as one of the newest places to try. I dropped by here Saturday to check it out and see how it fares with the other Filipino restaurants. It's located in a small strip mall with parking that can be challenging sometimes because it's shared with other businesses there. The staff are very friendly, no question about that. I was greeted warmly and handed me a menu while I was trying to look up at their menu on the wall. A Lechon Belly was displayed and looks crispy and juicy. I ordered the Crispy Pork Belly and Full Squid to go. For each order, there are 2 sides that goes with it. One can choose salad, garlic rice, java rice, steamed rice or French fries. I chose garlic rice and salad for the crispy pork belly and the java rice and salad for the other. The wait for the order was around 15 minutes and some. I left a bit and went to their sister restaurant which was just a door or 2 down the same strip. When my order was ready, the staff at Ethan's brought it to me personally which I'm very pleased. Went home, took a peak of what I ordered, and did a quick small bite of the crispy pork belly and the squid. Seems good. Now for the real eating. The crispy pork belly were bigger cuts of meat compared to the usual combo orders one gets in other Filipino places. It is crispy indeed and the ratio of meat and fat is enough that eating the fat is not too sinful. The garlic rice didn't work for me. Bits of fried garlic would be nice. The salad was just chopped lettuce with carrots and dressing. This can be improved in my opinion There's a small pickled papaya or atsara for both orders which was just ok. The full squid on the other hand needed another minute or so in my opinion on the grill. Tender yes, but would have been better to have a lemon with the order. Also if it has been marinated long enough, this has the potential to be a winner. I had the same opinion with the java rice. Can be better, the salad same thing. For both orders, one will be needing more than 1 rice especially if you are a rice eater. The soy vinegar sauce was not the soy vinegar or even with spicy sauce I'm used to have when eating either squid or crispy pork belly. I will try this place one more time because I want to push these stars to 4 or even 5. It looks promising. I will try the other items in the menu. Maybe just a preference. We will see.

It's Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and so wanted to make sure that I support some amazing AAPI eateries. Ethan's Belly Boink which just opened up a month ago is definitely one amazing new place. I got visit recently and enjoyed some delicious food. Ethan's Belly Boink is the sister restaurant to Ethan's Chibugan (one store down). While Ethan's Chibugan specializes in more traditional Filipino food; Ethan's Belly Boink is all about Filipino grilled food. They have grilled pork belly, grilled seafood, rotisserie chicken along with crispy pork belly, beef short ribs and beef pares. One can pair their grilled meats with 2 sides. Choices of sides include salad, fries, java rice and garlic rice. Food prices range from $7.99 (quarter rotisserie chicken) to $12.99 (beef short ribs). I got to try the crispy pork belly, beef pares and rotisserie chicken recently. I found the crispy pork belly to be nice and crisp. They fried it to a deep golden brown. The rotisserie chicken was very good too. It was quite moist and had good flavoring. The beef pares was more on the sweet side. It reminded me more of a sweet pork like patatim. From the sides; I enjoyed the garlic rice the best. I also tried the java rice and it was also good paired with the meats. Aside from grilled meats; they also have some desserts. There is mais con yelo, sago at gulaman and halo-halo. Dessert prices range from $4.00 (mais con yelo and sago at gulaman) and $5.59 (halo-halo). Overall I'm happy to see this new spot in Carson offering grilled Filipino food.

I was searching for something new and this place popped up. I believe it is a sister restaurant of the traditional Filipino restaurant a couple doors down. I ordered the Crispy Pork Belly. It was fried to perfection, a golden brown. The skin is crispy, crackling and it was moist inside. The Rotisserie Chicken is very delicious. Very moist and flavorful. I had the Garlic Rice and it was tasty. The French fries was great and salad was very fresh. They do have seafood options on the menu.

Went to Chibugan, Lechon at Ethan's and as I walked down I saw this spot... Was intrigued about this spot. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plaza parking and street parking. It's constantly busy as it's a day-to-day business area. Seating: Very limited. Two tables with about 4 chairs each. Feels: It's off of the Filipino Street strip with a lot of hustle and bustle. The place itself is relatively small but vibrant. You'll be greeted by the sounds of cooking and the tv. Great place to grab a quick bite or order on the go. FOOD: Crispy Pork Belly (Recommend) Deeelicious. Crispy, juicy, and not too dry. I chose the sides of french fries and java rice which complemented it pretty well. The fries were fresh and the java rice looked aesthetically pleasing. Nothing extra special but pretty comforting. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Friendly people and quick with the service. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. I dig this spot. Simple menu, delicious, food, and a reasonable price. I look forward to trying more of their other dishes. Fantastic Filipino food in a little strip mall. Parking in this lot seems like it could be tough at times but I found parking okay. I was in the area waiting at the Kaiser nearby otherwise I probably wouldn't have found this gem. I was greeted by a nice lady at the register when I came in. Small place with only two tables to eat at, but I got mine to-go anyways. Couldn't decide between the lechon pork belly or the fried pork belly but I ended up going with the fried pork belly. It came with two sides so I chose a salad and garlic rice. The pork belly was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic, the dipping sauce was also good that came with it. The garlic rice was also delicious. The only complaint I have is that the salad just came with some store bought Italian dressing. I was expecting something homemade and something that would go cohesively with what I ordered like some type of Asian salad dressing. Oh well, not the biggest thing. Just order a different side is my suggestion! I'll definitely be back if I'm in this area again!

I don't know too much about Filipino food but this place is a 5 star gem! I had their Lechon pork and it was amazing! Crispy skin + juicy tender meat = winner! It was so much flavor on each bite, paired with their garlic rice. Mmm! So good! I must be in Heaven... Also, try their Halo Halo. I think it pretty much sealed the deal. I walked out with a massive food coma. That's when you know, this place is a keeper, not like your ex girlfriend or boyfriend. I'll be back soon! I want to try their crispy pork next time.

Oh my gosh this place is killer. We had a 50 person Hawaiian party for my daughter with the star of the food show being this lechon. We bought the whole thing and it was gone. People kept raving about how amazing it was and how it was the best lechon they have ever had in their life. We had two chefs in attendance and both were analyzing how they were able to get just the right amount of crispness with moist tender pig amazingness hahaha. Needless to say there is nothing left and it was incredible. Oh I didn't want to forget there homemade sauce. Delectable and refreshing with the pork. Gosh we are so lucky to have them so close.

Great food and amazing host! Our family favorites are the pork belly plate and chicken plates with garlic rice and salad sides. And you have to try the sauces...excellent! Get there early or call ahead as the chicken is popular! Better for takeout as the dinning space is limited.

Just tried the food recently. The pork belly was completely hard and dry. Garlic rice was tasteless. I couldn't eat it. Very disappointed

The food was so yummy. Just like we have at home. The food came out fast the only qualm I have is there were only 2 tables so you get lucky with a table and being able to dine in. I definitely recommend and would go back next time I'm in town.

Crispy pork belly was cooked to perfection! I can't believe I finished my meal because it was quite big. The lechon sauce was also really good--the perfect accompaniment indeed and the salad that I chose as a side was fresh and crisp. I also ordered halo halo and it didn't disappoint. They don't scrimp on ingredients and even added a stick-o garnish which was a nice touch. I would have given this joint 5 stars but they charge you 3.5% surcharge for debit card transactions without letting the customer know first. Cash payers basically get instant 3.5% discount. Wish I knew this. A sign would suffice.

Got the beef pares combo and was pretty disappointed. The beef was more fat than actual meat but still had a good flavor. Rice was solid especially with the seasoning on the top, the bed underneath could've used a bit more. The soup was very bland and flavorless and they also forgot to put utensils in the bag but mistakes happen.

Omg the best beef pares. The meat itself, it melts in your mouth, with the sabaw and garlic fried rice. Oooof! My tip is get an extra garlic rice on a side. Youre welcome. -inandoks na manok, you wont be needing any sauce, just the java rice. The taste Of the chicken reminds me of home.

I ordered via doordash on 09/03/22 at 4:07pm for delivery. I had my apprehensions since I ordered- Crispy Pork Belly Lunch Special. And I love Goldilocks Lechon Kawali in Carson. Well "Goldilocks" dropped down a slot to #2 as long as my first experience continues with following orders of Pork Belly Lunches . As some other reviewers have stated- the portion of Crispy Pork Belly aka Lechon Kawali- is definitely good for a hungry person or to share- might need to order an extra scoop of rice (if sharing). Of course you need fat but there's a good portion of meat as well in each piece- along with the necessary crispy bite- but not hard on the teeth. Personally I'm not a fan of liver sauce for this- so I always substitute Vinegar and Garlic Sauce- is my Jam . Garlic rice was good and I had the salad (little mango julienne was a bonus) as the 2 sides for the combo- granted I would've liked 1000 Island Dressing for the salad but it comes with oil/balsamic vinegar (since delivery I used my own 1000 Island Dressing). Definitely order again soon- only adjustments I'd make- if I remember- is order/ask for a little extra rice. Happy Labor Day Weekend All!

Friend and I saw this place pop up on Yelp and decided to stop by. So glad we did! We ordered the fried pork belly with garlic and java rice. SO. GOOD. (If you prefer something a little softer, I recommend going for the grilled pork belly instead!) They have a diverse menu, ranging from pork to chicken to beef, and even seafood! The food isn't too heavy on you, either. It's hearty and fills you up, but it doesn't make you feel groggy at the end of it. The portions are just right. The owner even gave us some stew on the house! They were so courteous and friendly. Affordable prices, high quality food, and excellent customer service? Yeah, I'll be coming back 100%. Give them a try!

We came for Sisig and Lechon, Belly Boink gives big portions and they're always delicious. Service is fast and they make sure you get your money's worth (that Halo-halo is packed to the top). We came for a single meal, but would love to have them cater in the future, very much recommend.

I got excited when i googled this place because we drove from Vegas & i was craving filipino foods. The place is super small but is clean. The service was good, they're friendly && all. But the food was "Eh" , not a fan. if you're a tourist like me and craving for filipino food, it's a no for me

The lechon belly was AMAZING!! This has now become my family's staple at every party. Ruel was so accommodating and offered to cook the lechon belly so it was perfectly crispy and ready by our pick up time. The meat was so flavorful and moist and the skin was so crunchy. I 100% recommend this place. Absolutely incredible.

The pork belly is precooked! Not fresh. And you know that I'd the food is re heated it's not crunch anymore. It was tough and hard to bite I am disappointed. My first time buying here and was not happy on the food that I ate. And

Food is amazing. Meat is really tender and juicy. I've tried the chicken and the pork belly. The garlic rice is really tasty too. You need to eat it with the sauces. The quality of the service is amazing too. They are friendly and on top of it. I've been here three times and it never disappoints.
