Pretty cool spot for a meeting up with friends or a casual date night . One of the few places that have Old Overholt Rye whiskey, so that's very appreciated. Decent food.and service. Update after going several more times.... The wings are still amazing and my go to when I'm craving wings. Staff is awesome still.

Google
Really 2.5 stars. Way too many TV's, we got here after a big rush, the restaurant was less than half full. The bison burger was good, but kinda sweet, but I got a rare almost coldburger when I ordered medium rare. The salad was a joke, no dressing and just a handful of arugula. I ordered a whiskey on the rocks and it came watered down after the food arrived. Wife's salad was meh, but her Manhattan was good. Staff was friendly-ish. They do have a good whiskey selection, so will maybe come back just for drinks. I would maybe come here again

Google
I absolutely love this place. There's a saying around the states: a good whiskey bar has great bar food... And it absolutely does. Arugula salad, Fig burger, Fire cracker wings, margaritas, and an atmosphere to love. I'm also a whiskey member for a year and you get 10% off and $10coupon each month with your monthly bottle of whiskey and gifts. I go here at least once a month and I cook from home mostly.

Google
Surprisingly awesome experience for a first-time visitor, I was also impressed how fast the food were served. All dishes offered for BRW24 were excellent, and can be ordered from their regular menu. Very generous portion too. I'd definitely come back to try out other dishes as well as the Hoppy Hours.

Google
Great food and atmosphere. Ordered the seared tuna ahi salad, basically like an Asian salad with really good seared tuna on it. Fantastic. Beer selection is massive and overwhelming, as it should be. They also have a big whiskey list (and apparently a whiskey of the month club). Close to the UC theater, perfect spot for a pre-show meal and/or drink. Would definitely go again!

Google
I liked almost everything! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect plus we had excellent customer service from Wren, (my apologies if I didn't get it correctly). I will be back!

Google
AMAZING! If you are going, definitely upgrade your burger with the TRUFFLE FRIES! By far may be my favorite restaurant in Berkeley 🤭 Totally recommend getting appetizers: cheese balls with the Brussels sprouts. which was clean plate! Also love the ambiance and such a welcoming atmosphere here! Great for catching up with friends or a pretty date night

Google
Wonderful meal and service. This place has a fabulous beer selection that pairs perfectly with the burgers. Service was fast and friendly. Can recommend for a delicious and comfortable meal .

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and each one has been great! I've tried the brussel sprouts, barbecue bacon and American burgers, and the spicy chicken sandwich. ALL of which were delicious! The bar is super consistent and the service has never lacked. For a small chain establishment, Eureka! has it's systems down!

Yelp
Eurika offers great value for money with fair prices and excellent cocktails and drinks. I really enjoyed the house burger I ordered, especially the cooking level--it was perfect! The service was impeccable, but I do want to offer some constructive criticism regarding the wait time for our dishes. We had to wait about 25 to 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Aside from that, everything was wonderful!

Yelp
We stopped by on Saturday for dinner with some friends and the restaurants were fairly packed. Luckily we didn't have to wait as we just sat at the bar. I order the bison burger, the meat was super tender and packed with flavor, it's a lean but juicy alternative to the typical beef burger, and it's paired with fresh, high-quality toppings that elevate the whole experience. The truffle fries are the perfect complement--crispy, golden, and just the right amount of truffle oil to make each bite addictive!

Yelp
I came again with the in-laws and the kids, after an 8 year hiatus or so during the holiday season. It was easy to make a reservation, we got a big comfy booth, they have a kids menu with crayons, the food came out in like 5-7 minutes and service was friendly. The food was fine. An elevated American bar menu. I went with the crispy veggie burger and it was very much deep fried, but it was good. A little dry and could have used a little something something, but overall, fine. I opted for the side Caesar at an added upgrade price and that was a good move. The brussels appetizers were delish and the kids loved their cheeseburger & chicken tenders. I spied quite a few families here, so the kids menu and large open style restaurant is clearly known by the local fams. My father in law enjoyed his fig burger and the place has a big bar with lots of specials and a happy hour. Overall, a win all around when dining with the kids. Not an inexpensive option, but a great option for the area.

Yelp
This is literally the best and worst experience. I'll start with the worst. I ordered on doordash. Bbq burger was great, tasty and filling. Got truffle fries and it was great, worth the upgrade. The dipping sauce is phenomenal. 5/5 Now on to the worst part. Ordered the salmon dinner which is $28. Look at the photo and tell me what's wrong with this picture? Is it the TINY piece of salmon? The missing mashed potatoes? And the tiny amount of green beans? Lmao. That looks like an $8 meal at the work cafeteria. Luckily DoorDash refunded me quickly. This option is a 1/5. Final score of 2/5 from just disappointment.

Jacob R.

Yelp
(3.5 out of 5) I'll go from best to worst. Ambiance, I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this place. Dark, with a candle lit vibe. This place has a lot of alcoholic beverages, even having their own whiskey club. Food. The food here was solid. Everyone enjoyed it all saying it was around a 4/5 no complaints, they even have some cool sauces/aiolis. Now service, this is what tanked this place so much. Wasn't listened too. When we order taken for what beverages we wanted they said yes to my fiancé having a Dr Pepper. Just for us to not see the waiter again, with a new waiter coming by to let us know they never even had the drink she had asked for. Then when we had our order taken, a lot of passive aggressive attitude, after all of this we talked with a friend that works in the area and they said a lot of people have problems with the service team here. I'm not surprised When you come tell them Rothyy sent you.

Kevin C.

Yelp
Ate at the Eureka! in SLO and decided to try this one closer to home on a Friday night at 9 pm. Ambiance is on 100 with nice lighting, clean aesthetic & TV's playing sports. It's great it has a happy hour menu from 9 pm until closing. Service, on the other hand, was actually really bad - I'm sorry to say. Why? We sat down and asked for water and didn't get it after the appetizer AND our our meals came out. We had to ask one other server, then a bus boy for our waters. I had to ask for my Old Fashioned halfway throughout my burger. I just expected more from a spot like this, and they weren't apologetic about it. Now onto the food... Fried Pickles - 4.5/5 - These were awesome! Pickles were juicy, sour and flavorful. Crispy and generous amount. My only gripe this they over did it with the salt, as the pickles didnt need it. Wings w. Bourbon Dry Rub - 4/5 - They came out hot, fresh, and juicy. The rub itself was dusted each wing nicely. It did taste more sweet than savory. A little mild spice kick at the end. Came with 7 with a few carrots and lettuce. Double Smash Burger - 3/5 - It looked awesome, covered in cheese and all the fixings. It came out a little room temperature though, creating dry bites with coldish patties and big bun. I did need to add ketchup - for both flavor and lubrication (lol). Maybe if it was served fresh this would've been tastier. Old Fashioned - 5/5 - Excellent old fashioned, loved the cherry. Overall, wouldn't be my first choice to come again due to the poor service but cater the idea with their late night happy hour option!

Yelp
The manager recovered our service experience and that was a nice turn around! Arrived around 10 and had two drinks and an appetizer 1.5 hours later. It was busy but our experience seemed to be more a mismanagement of tables. We wanted to order more but it was difficult to do that. Unknowingly, the manager probably noticed our experience and came to take another order but I was too afraid of disappointment to order anything else. My mom ordered something else and it was great. I found a sweet potato fry in my nachos and I wasn't sure if that was intentional or not. The nachos were weird, how do i explain, my mom thought the beans were sweet the whole time until we realized it was a chipotle sauce. I said I'd come back to give it another shot given how the manager turned things around.

Yelp
Yasmine served me the best margarita i have ever tasted in my 40 years of life and gave me the most welcoming and attentive service that I can guarantee will make me a eureka fan for life.

Yelp
Oddly, enough I noticed the sky-blue reminder today. Eureka hasn't paid me to alter or remove my review. It's interesting how I was contacted and received radio silence after my response. While I would have appreciated encouragement to return, I don't believe Eureka asked me to alter or remove my review. So they're in the green on my end. But this is the first time, I noticed this blurb popping up which makes me interested to find out if others have been reached out to with the same message and I couldn't help but notice the over 2K reviews. Did I interpret Karly EGM's message, correctly? Thanks. This situation is awkward and strange. The first of its kind for me! Though, no one is perfect. At the very least if this kind of message goes against Yelp policy, it would have been nice to own up and just let me know. I would have much rather gotten a response after taking the time to respond and track when and what I wrote about Eureka than being ghosted. But, hey! Not only does ghosting apply to the dating world, it does on Yelp! All the best, Eureka!

Yih R.

Yelp
We came after a movie showing at the BAMPFA. It was past 10, but this place was still popping. We ordered spicy fried chicken and a burger. Food-wise, I was very pleased. The fried chicken was so well-battered and mixed. It's really crispy outside and juicy inside. The burger also is delicious yet to greasy. But we also ordered a happy hour cocktails-margaritas. It was a bit too sweet and needed more alcohol. The place itself is cute as well. I love how this place has an orange tone with all the warm light. It gives people a sense of warmth. People here are nice and quick too. Will come back if I have another movie at the BAMPFA.

Yelp
INNOVATIVE. DELICIOUS. LOCAL. Came here to visit my bro in Berkley and had some local friends who recommended Eureka. I'm so glad they did. We were greeted by friendly staff & fresh decor. Comfortable indoor & outdoor seating was available. They're known for their whiskey selection but we came for the food -- lunch edition. The menu is packed w good choices so we decided to order a number of items so decided to share all of our ordered items together. We landed on the crispy Brussel sprouts & mac-n-cheese balls for appetizers -- both were phenomenal w the mac balls being memorable. The aged bone marrow burger was a game changer!! Also enjoyed the flavorful spicy chicken sandwich & fresh blackened salmon salad. If you're in the Berkeley area, highly recommend Eureka for the food, atmosphere, service and extensive beverage selection. Highly recommended coming back soon

Yelp
Eureka! is a great choice if you're looking for American food! My family and I made a reservation on a Monday night without any issues. The restaurant was a little on the loud side, but once they opened the large windows at the front of the restaurant, the noise mostly went away. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and good-natured, joking around with us and providing recommendations. I ordered the Fresno Fig burger, which came with bacon, onion, goat cheese, fig spread, and some other toppings. It comes with a choice of fries or an arugula salad. It was cooked well, and the combination of the fig and the goat cheese was very tasty. The Napa chicken sandwich was also excellent, according to my partner, and the nachos were tasty. Eureka! also has a well-stocked bar and TVs to watch whichever game is currently playing. There is street parking available, as well as a parking garage across the street. Eureka! is also close to the BART, if you're using public transit. Overall a solid choice for American food!

Catherine B.

Yelp
I tried what used to be my favorite burger place again for the first time in months and the quality has deteriorated big time. I tried their newer chipotle burger and it was overly greasy, the cheese was liquidy, and hence, the bun was soggy and unappetizing. Their sweet potato fries have changed vendors or were made wrong because they were too thick and not as crispy and sweet as they used to be. The portions have also become smaller over time. Overall, maybe it's because it was a Monday night but the food is not good anymore and I will unfortunately not be back. I'm so sad to lose my favorite burger place in Berkeley but I guess I'll stick to the chicken sandwiches around the city now:(

Amy C.

Yelp
This place is a great for a bite to eat and to watch some sports! Was able to visit this place during a work trip and the food, service and beers were 10/10! I got the firecracker fried chicken sandwich; I must say it's the best one I have ever had. The friend pickles were good and I had the Pizza Port "California Blonde" so good! The staff were friendly, and the food was amazing. The inside was clean, well staffed and very welcoming.

Claudia S.

Yelp
4 stars for the food and 2 stars for everything else. We have had our take out orders messed up more than a few times at this locations, and there seems to always be a shift change in the middle of our meals whenever we dine . Ever since I noticed that the burgers come out a bit too raw for medium rare, I had been ordering medium. It's fine but then it's more like well-done - not super consistent. Last time I went, found a piece of parchment paper in the burger. Manager addressed it promptly and it was all good. In general I do like their burgers and tbh just always happy to find a place open after midnight.

Rose L.

Yelp
Pricey but delicious. We got 5 items: 28 Day Aged Bone Marrow, Ahi Poke Stack, Brussel Sprouts, Mac and Cheese Balls, and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The fries were great! I'd recommend upgrading because the cheese and parsley add extra flavor. 28 Day Aged Bone Marrow: Delicious BUT it tasted like a good quality patty, couldn't really taste the bone marrow. Therefore, not missing out much if you do not order this $20 burger. Spicy Chicken Sandwich: No scovilles in this one. It was incredibly mild. The chicken was breaded to perfection though. Mac and Cheese Balls: What you'd expected out of fried Mac and cheese. Great texture and flavor though. Brussel Sprouts: Cooked to perfection and rich flavors. Poke Stack: My favorite of the night, beautiful presentation and the guacamole and poke made a killer combo. Great for a post game hangout, too loud inside to talk intimately.

Joshua S.

Yelp
Food is always spot on. Had the mac-n-cheese balles, Fresno Fig Burger and the Bison Burger. The kitchen didn't disappoint. The highlight was the service. Maxwell my server did a great job checking on us and taking care of our needs. Service here can sometimes struggle, but not tonight. Special mention as well to the manager who was also seeing to the needs of tables. All around a great visit.

Barry W.

Yelp
One line review: Open late and plenty of food We have eaten at Eureka! on a number of occasions and typically enjoyed ourselves. The environment is clean and pleasant, and the service has been good-to-excellent; we've had some servers who were especially knowledgeable about the menu and their beers who were super helpful to us. The burgers are decent and we enjoyed our dessert (see pictured below), but one of the things that keeps us coming back is the flight of beers. My wife is something of a connoisseur, and she really enjoys their beers -- a nice complement to burgers and fries. Downtown Berkeley is not an easy place to park during the day, but we've always gone in the evening and found parking on the street nearby. I probably wouldn't want to have to deal with parking in the daytime. Bottom line: If you're looking for a late night food option, this is a good one.

Eva W.

Yelp
Decent place to go if you need room for a larger group or if you want a place to watch sports. Solid drinks and whiskey selection, though they have been raising their prices on the whiskeys. Food-wise, the burgers have been hit or miss - sadly most of the time, they have been on the drier side. Service has also been hit or miss - sometimes have to ask multiple times for water / refills. Eureka has a Hoppy Hour M-F 3-6pm and 9pm-close for snacks and drinks. They also have a fun "Steal the Glass" promotion on Wednesdays with rotating beers.

Shaye P.

Yelp
Yasmine was the best bartender I've had at Eureka and I've been to multiple locations. She was super friendly and welcoming, I will be back!

Jean W.

Yelp
The restaurant looks amazing! Being in the heart of Berkeley, we imagined this place would be tuned to students but were pleasantly surprised. Doritos crusted peppers brought quickly, however way to oily and the dressing watery. Burger with mixed results: jalapeño egg was delicious! Yolk still runny, soooo good! Slow roasted pulled pork? Dry meat and bread, the jus was as salty as the Dead Sea, too bad as we heard great comments! Waitresses were really professional, courteous and smiling! All in all worth a visit: try some of the staple burgers, and you'll get good food!

Danielle J.

Yelp
Front of house (host) is very unhelpful. We paid $60+ for a burger, Mac and cheese balls, and a salmon salad. Asked for the burger to be well done with grilled onions and didn't get either. Mind you, my wife is pregnant and can't eat a medium done burger. I called ahead to let them know assuming this may help get my burger sooner but I'm sitting here waiting over 20 mins for a single burger that THEY messed up the first time. When I asked the host how much longer before the burger came out he literally shrugged his shoulders. I asked if he could go in the back and find out only to be told another 5 mins. The place is not full, there are empty tables. What appears to be the manager (older white lady) was nice and helpful but yall need a new host (fair skin, dark curly haired, male),

Tanis L.

Yelp
My introduction to the Downtown Berkeley location of Eureka! was Spring 2015 semester on a graduate school visit. Some of the graduate students in the department I was interviewing with decided to take me here for meal(s). While we were dining, I received my official offer letter via email. I was the 6th pick for a Michael M., and the other students did a good job encouraging me to still come. They even pointed out I could work with someone else if I chose UC Berkeley (which I ended up doing) and reminded me the City of Berkeley had good food. After arriving in Berkeley for my studies, I came to Eureka! a few more times. It was one of the restaurants in downtown that had a good set-up for lots of people. While it could get loud, I could still at least kind-of hear the other people at the table. Temperature inside the restaurant was consistent and not too far either way. Food was always delicious. For my tastes and time in the area (2015 to 2019, inclusive), it may have been the burger place with the best desserts.

Malina A.

Yelp
Went here for date night and really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. We sat near the window side which was open and had a nice view of downtown. I got the fish and chips, and the breading was very crispy and had a nice crunch. The fish itself tasted kind bland, but the sauces it came with definitely helped. My boyfriend ordered the bone marrow burger and upgraded to mac and cheese balls, both having great flavor. Their happy hour was a plus! They have select discounted drinks and appetizers during the weekdays 3-6pm and 9pm to close. We ordered the spa day margarita and the wild child which tasted pretty good, but the star was the truffle cheese fries. Overall, I would definitely come here again and try out the other entrees from the menu.

Charlotte T.

Yelp
Brussel Sprouts 6/10: was ok crispy on one side but a little to much grease. The flavoring was excellent! Corn 2/10: under cooked could have used some butter Seared Salmon 0/10: I'm sure it was cooked that morning but not all the way to resting temp to be warmed up again not using a skillet. There was not a centimeter of charred. Returned it and got a cheeseburger and fries 8/10, can't never go wrong with that. Kind of upset because the resturants isreally nice, and the menu has been updated, not that I had a problem with the one before. It's the cooks and there technique don't cut corners it will cost you at the end. New manager super chill and friendly!

Jess S.

Yelp
The food was great as usual! The drinks were good as well which sometimes can be hit or miss. But most exceptional was the service from Julie! The service is usually dry and slow but Julie was our server last night and was amazing. She friendly, quick, and helped when I had no idea what to drink! She was funny and took care of us well! Everything was spot on like she said and she made us want to return but only if she could be our server.

Birute S.

Yelp
Food is very good. Good burgers, tacos, fish, drinks. Can be obnoxiously noisy, I suppose, depending on what's happening on campus. Can get seated quickly if you come at 5. Make reservations if you're coming later. Oh, and I don't care for chicken wings but theirs are excellent.

Melanie H.

Yelp
Came here after a concert at the Greek Theater with some friends, and I was pretty impressed with what I got! For a Tuesday evening, it was quite busy, and they were understaffed. Prices are pretty reasonable for the portion sizes. BAJA FISH TACOS: 3.5/5 (~$17) These come with 2 tacos, but they're really filling! The batter on the fish was crunchy as were the veggies included. Overall, nothing special but good! TRUFFLE FRIES: 2/5 (+$3 upgrade to my entree) I was really hoping to like this but ended up getting overwhelmed by how cheesy it was. I was hoping it would have more truffle oil honestly. The fries itself though were solid, but I might've enjoyed plain fries instead. My other friends got the fried chicken sandwich and they thought it was just alright!

Debbie F.

Yelp
I had the Ahi salad and the lettuce was so gross . The flavor was ok but even the portion of lettuce was pitiful. Service was awful and the restaurant maybe had 10 percent of the tables occupied. Others in our party had to ask numerous times for plates to share and salad dressings. Our server got the order wrong and we were forced to accept french fries we didn't order. My recommendation would be go somewhere else to eat

Joseph T.

Yelp
Fun hangout in Berkeley with a ton of whiskey options. Not into whiskey? Plenty of wine, beer and cocktails. Great menu with lots of options. Bar is a great place to watch games. We experienced good service and plan to return for another meal or happy hour.

John L.

Yelp
Great early bird special . Great hamburger, cocktails and fries. Also friendly service

Christina B.

Yelp
Food : We started with the Mac n' cheese balls which were delicious. My friend got the American burger and I got the Bison burger - the burgers were basic but they were flavorful and were a good size so we didn't have to bring home leftovers. I had a Fieldworks IPA which was good and my friend had the S'mores drink but the bourbon was a bit overpowering so neither of us could finish that drink. Service: Our server was Dimitri (sorry if I misspelled) and he was attentive and knowledgeable. Other staff were friendly and greeted us. We sat by the window and had a nice view of downtown Berkeley.

Brianna W.

Yelp
Came here on a weekend around 1:30 and there was only about 5 groups eating. The place was large and had lots of seating. We ordered the chicken tenders and bone marrow burger and both were good. I have tried both of these at their other locations and thought they were much better than here. The fries were also a bit soggy. Wish they could have been better. However the food was a solid 3.5/5. One of our cups was dirty so we had to ask for another cup. I wish they had regular napkins because the cloth napkins are hard to use when u are eating a messy burger. Overall the place was cool and food was ok.

Jerry X.

Yelp
8 years since I last had Eureka and it was as good as I remember it! My out of town friend and I were in the downtown Berkeley area looking for something light to eat. I had remembered eureka being a quality gourmet hamburger spot from my time as an undergrad, so offered this as an option in the area that didn't require a lot of thought. Even so many years later and with all the changes that have taken place in downtown since I left, Eureka continues to provide a solid, consistent burger option. Is it the best burger I've ever had? No, but it's definitely a quality burger at a reasonable price point. Overall, you won't be disappointed by the experience!

Kimberly Y.

Yelp
This is a long overdue review for Eureka! Berkeley. I'm pretty familiar with Eureka! Mountain View, and this location in Berkeley did not disappoint either. I came during weekday with huge group, and it was pretty empty, which was good for us to find seating quickly. They removed the parklet, so unfortunately I couldn't bring my dog. My favorites are the appetizers, specifically Brussels sprouts, mac and cheese balls, and corn dog lollipops. I really wish they had an appetizer sampler as a meal option since I find them to be tastier than the entrees. I usually just get a salad as the entree to balance myself out.

Kimberly W.

Yelp
Eureka Berkeley count your days lol. I placed an order for my son and I, we ordered a steak salad medium, wings and fries for pick up. We get home open our boxes, the fries and wings were fine but that steak was cooked within an inch of its life. The steak was already dead there was no reason for the cook to kill it again!!! The steak was ashy, hard, cold, dry, ruff and plain disrespectful. I basically paid $21.75 for a steak salad minus the steak.

Bob F.

Yelp
Fun, lively place near the live theaters in Berkeley. Lots of TVs showing the NBa playoffs. We got her around 6:30 on a Saturday night and only had to wait about 10 min for a table. Crispy Veggie Beet burger: 4/5. Nice texture. Not a huge amount of flavor in this beet and bean burger (as expected) that was just topped with sliced onions, so I added some ketchup and mustard. Hooked on Chocolate: 4/5. Very enjoyable chocolate lava cake. A little sweeter than we prefer, but very nice. Our server Jack was really nice and helpful. There was a minor problem with my wife's dish and it was quickly taken care of. Pro tip: They provide a 10% discount if you can show proof that you are attending a Berkeley Rep show that day.

Sydney G.

Yelp
Eureka! was great! The spicy chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the drinks were pretty and well-balanced--not too strong. It's conveniently close to BART and a few bars, making it a great spot to start a night out. Definitely worth a visit!

Pauline N.

Yelp
Came here after a concert because the food smelled so good! The fries here are BOMB. Total highlight of the meal and wished I had more. My friends also got truffle fries and thought it was good. However, I wasn't really impressed by the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich (3/5). The chicken was HUGE, but it was just decent. The chicken was fried nicely, but the sandwich seemed lacking in flavor. Definitely fulfilling, but I rather go somewhere else for a chicken sandwich.

Verenice B.

Yelp
Yummy spot with a great stacked bar and cute happy hours/daily deals. These were hard to come by since COVID, good stuff! I used to love their mini corns dogs- I think they used hot links before. This day they were regular hot dogs. Still good tho, the corn bread is just perfect to me. The ahi poke stack is really delicious! Love the black rice on the bottom. Feels like I'm eating the perfect bite each time without having to create my own "Bravo Bite" from all the different ingredients- like I normally do. I didn't know Anaheim peppers could be spicy! Loved it! Wish I ordered more- but I also don't like being that person. Next time I'll order the poke with extra chile slices cause it was the cherry on top for meeee! Now the Bison burger! Incredible! Got it medium rare- and holy hell it was so tasty. Can't wait to go back and try it again. Best burger I've had in awhile!

Annie D.

Yelp
I usually love Eureka, especially its happy hour. However, I've noticed a slow decline in quality over the past few years. At my visit today I ordered the spinach artichoke dip which used to be a favorite of mine. When it came out it was so greasy I couldn't take a single bite. The servers are really nice about it though, and they took it off my bill without question. Last time I ordered the grilled chicken nachos and it would've been great except for one thing--they forgot the chicken. When we brought it to their attention they took it to the back, sprinkled on a few pieces of dry chicken and brought it back out :( Other than that, I've always enjoyed the burgers here and the workers are nice and friendly.

Emily L.

Yelp
The place was small and busy so it seemed to be popular. The whole time it felt like our waitress was trying to upsell us. Then after she took our order she never appeared again. Someone else brought out our food and brought us our check but I still seen her around serving other tables. There's a limited menu so make sure you're in the mood for a burger or some light sides. The food was just average for me. The wings were mediocre and the barbecue sauce was very sweet which I did not except. Overall, this place was not for me.

Yelp
The drinks at Eureka are the best! David and Will are the best! They provide the best customer service and they make the best Penicillin drinks! That's why we keep coming back!!!!

Yelp
I didn't get my food and was charged nearly $100! I'll be calling the restaurant and yelp until the issue has been rectified. The people taking orders and doing deliveries continued to play on my phone as well. 0 stars!!!!

Yelp
This is my first time at this location; I usually go to the one in Concord. I truly enjoyed the service, ambiance and food was delicious. Despite the other reviews, this location is very convenient; close to BART and Bus. When I arrived; the manager greeted me. The bartender Yas made my pineapple tequila sour so delicious. Overall I will be back again. Thank you Eureka Berkeley for making me feel welcomed.

Yelp
I've been to Eureka several times and never wrote a review. On the last visit, we made a reservation. It was a good thing we did the room was packed. When we left the line was out of the door. The only problem with this is, it the room is very loud. I had trouble hearing my friend. For the restaurant that might be good we were in and out quickly. The noise almost ruined my meal. In the past, I ordered appetizers for my main course. That was a while ago so all I can say is I liked them. This time we arrived in time for the Happy Hour. We both ordered burgers and truffled cheese fries from the Happy Hour menu. I passed on a cocktail and had water The burger was great I asked for it rare and that is out it was brought t to the table. I was pleased I dislike overcooked burgers. The burger was tasty, I like the fries I ate every last one off my plate. I will go again and next time have appetizers and add an interesting drink.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere inside this American style restaurant--busy, great lighting, and gives you a boost of adrenaline. It was a bit loud, though, so maybe not an ideal spot if you're trying to get to know someone. Our server was amazing and kept checking in on us the entire time we were seated. I ordered the fig jam burger and definitely did not expect it to be so delicious!! A little bit pricey for a burger and a side, but the ambiance makes up for it.

Yelp
As a Berkeley student, this place was at the top of our list for a memorable outing. Our group of 20 students ventured in and were treated to an array of cocktails, including the captivating Wild Child, The Floor is Lava, and the intriguing Penicillin. These drinks weren't just drinks; they were potent elixirs of pure amazement. The atmosphere exuded warmth and was thoughtfully illuminated, creating an inviting space for our gathering. The servers conducted themselves with utmost politeness, ensuring our comfort and enjoyment throughout the evening. Speaking of enjoyment, my choice for food was the Veggie Beet Burger - an experience that left me exclaiming, "OMG!" The patty, crafted in-house, elevated the concept of a veggie burger to an unparalleled level. Its deliciousness was so profound that I wholeheartedly recommend it, even to those who aren't vegetarians. With happy hour plans on the horizon, our excitement is palpable. This restaurant's alluring deals during this time are beckoning us back for another visit. The anticipation is building, and we can hardly wait to immerse ourselves in the culinary delights and ambiance once more!
