Eureka! We found it! Another place to get delicious food at a relatively reasonable price. The first time we visited, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad. It was mid. However, the peanut sauce is yummy. The second time was a charm. I ordered Ahi Poke’ Stack, and it was hot, like a firecracker in deliciousness. Supremely executed. The Truffle Cheese Fries were good but slightly too salty for me. This time, the Eureka was the Desserts: Oh My Gawd, the Carrot cake stole the show. It was purely golden in flavor and sweet with just the right amount of moisture. And its co-star, the Bourbon Barrel Cake, was equally delightful. I would come back just for the desserts. I love the atmosphere; it has beautiful scenery. Eureka! was perfect for our gathering purpose. Our waiter was kind, engaging, and accommodating. It's an excellent sports bar getaway. The prices are moderate, and the food portions are adequate. The drinks are what’s happening at Eureka! I found a drink. I didn’t know I was looking for the charcoal and lemonade; they were delicious. My only disappointment was the service this time. Our waiter seemed distracted. We had to ask three times for warm water. However, the manager, Jason, was charming and open to our opinions about the food. When you go, tell them that Omar A. Muhammad sent you. Good Eating!

8/2024-Disappointed in the food quality this visit. Shishito peppers were room temp and nut very good. Napa Chicken sandwich didn't have much chicken and arrived late. Fish chips were fish sticks 2022-Everything was absolutely perfect from the decor to the attentive service and especially the delicious dishes! All the details were so clearly considered and executed flawlessly. Guac and queso chips were fresh, brussel sprouts were cooked and seasoned well, fig burger flavors worked so well and cooked perfectly medium and flavorful, ginger beer housemade fresh and spicy, ahi tuna salad well seasoned, bourbon cake wasn't overly sweet.

Google
Great spot to get a burger and a lot of other things especially the mac and cheese balls. Burgers were cooked good and the honeybscinnamon sweat potatoes fries (or something like that) were a very good choice. Also their beer selection was great. They balmoral had a great bourbon selection but didn't feel like wanting to know the price. Will definitely go back for burgers

Google
This place is so cute. We just went for their draft beers. Yummy. Will definitely be back mainly because the service is great, mainly from one of our favorite servers there, Taylor! Mac and cheese balls are great too! Today we did their whiskey pairing tasting and wow!!! That's all I have to say! What a pairing! We had the truffle fries today... Yummy!

Google
Pretty decent gourmet burger restaurant! I had the bison burger (delicious but too spicy for me 😢), my grandparent got a spicy chicken burger (also too spicy but delicious), and my sibling got the cowboy burger. I also got the charcoal lemonade. It's perfect for someone who wants a more tarty drink. The restaurant itself has a cute trendy vibe. My family usually prefers to sit inside but the patio area was so nice looking that we ended up eating outside. Overall, it was delicious and, even though my food ended up being too spicy for my tastes, I appreciate that they don't skip out on flavors.

Food was quite delicious and savory! Our waitress on the other hand wasn't very friendly or attentive. Seemed to be in a rush and bothered to speak with us. Not welcoming at all. Thank you to the bartender and the hostess for bringing our food and continuing to check in on us. Not sure if will be back. Not looking forward having the same waitress.

Google
Came here for the second time(first was in santa barbara) and had to get the bison burger topped with charred fresno chile. Get it, you will love it if you like mid spice level. truffle corn is packed with flavor but not oily at all. Fried chicken sandwich was great and had a good kick to it. Both drinks were great and not had just enough sweetness, the blackberry mocktail was tasted slightly like tamarindo respado and the watermelon fresca was pleasantly spiced.

Google
The restaurant is very clean and the staff is so friendly. The Burgers are awesome. Remember, these are GOURMET burgers, not your average burger joint around the corner, therefore the price. But it is well worth it. The Burgers are so tasty and juicy that I wanted more despite me being full. I can recommend this wonderful place and I really hope more people will find it feeling the same way. This is great place to meet for after work, watching the games or any other sport or just having a fun get-together. I will be back, hungry for more.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place based on pictures and reviews but unfortunately my first experience was disappointing. The food didn't meet expectations and the overall visit left my husband and I very unsatisfied. Bison Burger We didn't get this as ordered and a couple of toppings were missing. The patty was very dry and hard to enjoy. The bun was stale and dried out so we had to remove it and eat the burger with a fork. It didn't come with any sauce at all, not even ketchup for the fries. Without sauce or a juicy patty the burger wasn't enjoyable. Barbecue Bacon Burger This burger was also disappointing. It's supposed to have crispy onion straws but they were missing which was frustrating since they're the main topping. By the time the waitress brought them out the burger was lukewarm or maybe it was never hot to begin with. I asked for the bacon on the side but it came on top melted into the cheese. Removing the bacon also peeled off most of the cheese tho there wasn't much to begin with. They forgot the tomato and pickles so it came with just lettuce and the lettuce was brown and wilted. The patty was dry and firm with no flavor or juiciness. The bun was also stale and I had to remove it like the other burger. Fries The fries were another letdown. They were cool and grainy like they'd been sitting out for a long time before reaching our table. The flavor might have been okay if they were fresh but they weren't crisp or enjoyable so I didn't eat them. Service Good! The only good thing. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Almost upped this to 2 stars for service but I can't bring my self to do so since the main component (the food) was so disappointing. I was genuinely excited to try this place which made the poor experience even more disappointing. We left hungry and had to eat again that night to feel satisfied. It's hard to see myself coming back anytime soon.

Yelp
-Good drinks -Overpriced for underwelming food -Inconsistent service experience -Good atmosphere Came here on a Saturday after some holiday walking and shopping with a friend. We chose outside dining, which was heated nicely, and were seated almost immediately. First we put in our order for drinks, then food. Drinks: Campfire! Gingerbread Man Old Fashioned Although the Gingerbread Man Old Fashioned was good, it literally had a gingerbread man shaped ice cube, I overwhelmingly recommend The Campfire! The Campfire! was brought to our table in a custom bottle filled with smoke and poured into a glass. During this presentation, the people sitting next to us were wowed and decided to order the same. Sadly when there's arrived, the bottle was just placed on the table and wasn't given the same flashy presentation. Food: Wings Crispy Veggie Beet Burger New York Strip Streak Wings weren't bad but not memorable. New York Strip Steak came to my table pre cut which I very much dislike. On top of that, it looked more shredded than sliced. The flavor wasnt bad but again not memorable and serving size was to small. Overall not a bad experience for my first time but it felt very inconsistent. I would not recommend this chain over any other.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place as I've had it bookmarked for a while. There was no wait when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. The hosts were friendly and we were greeted by a server right away. I regret not remembering her name but she was awesome and very helpful. We started with the wings which I highly recommend. We tried firecracker and honey glazed flavored which were both tasty. The best thing is they came out hot and juicy. More often than not wings come out room temperature and dry. We also ordered cocktails which were pretty strong (for me at least). We got to pour it ourselves. I loved the Campfire. Anything with a roasted marshmallow makes me happy. For entrees, we had the double smash burger with fries and Fresno Fig with sweet potato fries. Burgers were juicy and tasty. The Fresno Fig had a bit too much goat cheese though which overpowered the flavor of anything else. I wouldn't order again or maybe ask to go light on the cheese. The dessert on the other hand was absolutely delicious. It was a bourbon barrel cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel. Yum.

Yelp
My bf and I love Eureka, but we came back recently and was so disappointed, mainly in the customer service. We came on a Saturday night and there was surprisingly no wait. I do like how they have big tables for larger parties. We ordered the barbecue bacon and bison burger. The burgers were good, but fries were disappointing and soggy. It just looked like the leftovers. Our server was attentive in the beginning, but he just disappeared after. No one checked in on us after we got our food. I understand if it was busy, but it wasn't busy and he wasn't helping other tables either. We could also hear the other tables in our section looking around and asking "where is our server". We asked someone for help and they said they'll grab our server so that's when he came back. Next, we ordered food to go and waited outside. We checked in after 20 minutes with the hostess and she said she'll check in the back and let us know. She came back, but just went back to her host stand. We were standing right outside and she didn't say anything so we asked again and she said oh it's not ready yet. No effort in trying to update us. Overall, I won't be coming back.

Yelp
They take reservations. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon at about 2pm. Not busy at all. Service was good. Ordered the double smash burger and truffle cheese fries as an addl up grade. It's a common chain all over SoCal and the bar area is nice to sit if you are watching a sporty event . The food is what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Nothing thing spectacular but nothing terribly horrible either. Not sure if I would go out of my way to come here again. Located in a long and large strip mall in Cerritos by the Nordstrom rack and other restaurants like BJ's. $27 including tip.

Yelp
I think the food here sucks now. Ordered the nachos, tell me why everything is stuck together and super stale when it came out... Drinks are drinks. You can not mess up pouring a beer or pouring a glass of wine lol.

Yelp
Place has a great burger nice and juicy and the fries were nice and crispy definitely hit the spot for a late night burger all in all if your in the neighborhood try it out who know you might like good service and enough tvs to call this place a fancy sports bar good for a first date

Yelp
First time eating at Eureka. We needed to stay in the area, so we came here right before rush hour. We got seated right away. Ordered a few beers, nothing special. We started with the Mac and cheese balls appetizer. Pretty tasty dipping sauces, that helped give the Mac and cheese balls a better flavor. We also ordered the steak nachos, fish and chips, and the grilled chicken sándwich. The steak nachos, were mediocre. The shredded cheese was melting onto the chips, but nothing special, I could have made those at home. The grilled chicken sandwich was also nothing special, more bread than chicken breast and toppings in the sandwich. Lastly, the run of the mill fish and chips, once again nothing special. Service was decent. Overall, I would stay this a slight step above chilis, more expensive for sure, but nothing worth coming back for.

Yelp
Went for Sunday brunch and didn't have a wait, service was so sweet from the host to the servers. We ordered the Mac n cheese balls along with a fried pickles to start with. Our drinks were a margarita, the campfire (super whiskey forward) and the Holiday gingerbread cocktail (delicious). Everything is very crafty and presentation is great, you pay for what you get.

Yelp
Drinks were delicious, per usual. Service was fantastic, per usual. The ONLY thing is that the wings were the smallest wings I've ever seen. I asked the bartender how many wings come in the order, to which he responded "seven." Cool. Little over $2/wing. That's fine. Now they were delicious. I love any kind of dry rub... , but I ate them in five minutes. I wasn't even that hungry, there was just so little meat on them. Now 90% of the time, I'm going to Eureka over BJ's despite that dry rub joke. But their wings are tasty AND thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. Doesn't change how much I love this restaurant.

Yelp
Becca and Paul are amazing! They great you as soon as you walk in and sit down! Serve you very quickly and the service is A1! The food is also amazing and has great craft beers!

Yelp
I've come here a couple of times and I feel like the food here is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's really good, but other times it fails. My go-to snack order is always the nachos, but this time everything was stale and stuck together. Felt like it was microwaved together lol. Service is always good here though, and I love that this place opens late. Favorite drink here is probably the wild child. As for beer, can't go wrong with IPA

Yelp
Tried out Eureka on a Saturday night with a +1. The place was not busy at all for the size of this restaurant. We were seated along the far right corner of the restaurant once you entered. I probably saw a family of 4 and a couple during the dinner experience. The restaurant is well decorated. I definitely can see it being a nice hangout spot for large groups. Its also pretty big and offers outdoor and indoor seating. We opted for indoor as is was a little chilly that night. Customer service was good. Our original server took a 30 minute during our dinner and passed off to 2 other servers while he went o break. All of them were pretty friendly and attentive. Food was just okay. We ordered a freshmade ginger lime soda (not that much flavor), root beer, dorito encrusted shisito peppers (the portion was small), spicy chicken sandwich, and fish and chips. It came out to $70 tip included which I think was a little pricier than what it was. My chicken sandwich was mostly burnt breading which was a little bit of a let down.

Yelp
A chain restaurant with generous portions that is overall pretty good. There's a bar and they have lots of interesting looking cocktails. I ate some mac and cheese balls- which were awesome and large. I also had a tasty medium-well Fresno Fig burger that was more than a handful. I was curious about the veggie offerings and I sampled the crispy veggie beet burger with some goat cheese subbed in and it was good, too. They had attentive staff that answered all of my questions. For seating there was booth, table, and bar seating. The music/ambiance was like EDM elevator music. No issues parking and no issues being seated right away. I wish we could do half stars- It was better than OK and it was good but I want to give it 3.5 stars. I'll try the desserts next time.

Yelp
This was my first time here it's Pretty cool place. I met a friend of mine here to watch dodgers game. We were there before the game so it was pretty slow. The bartender was very friendly and explained the happy hour stuff. The aesthetics of the restaurant Are nice. The beer selection was cool. Food I had was ok. If you are a foodie you will probably pick out the weak spots of this place. But I would give this place a. it's pretty alright

Yelp
Decent gourmet burger and primarily whiskey spot near the Los Cerritos mall with cute patio seating. I got the dry-aged bone marrow burger. Kinda disappointed that it's smaller than their other burgers and it wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be. The patty though was very tender and juicy, and the strong notes from the horseradish mustard aioli was a good compliment. I upgraded my fries to the truffle cheese fries and I would do that again in a heartbeat. Great savory flavor and rich cheese on crispy fries. Can't beat that! I tried the Morning, Peaches cocktail which is a bourbon cocktail with hints of coffee, peach, and vanilla. Very tasty and refreshing!

David C.

Yelp
Went on happy hour and had great service and food. Easy location with adequate parking.

Yelp
1 appetizer nachos 1 entree chicken sandwich 2 beers $70.... Nachos looked like the same ones on Stepbrothers lol...Sometimes in n outs the better option

Yelp
Eureka is a solid burger restaurant and bar. I love the ambiance - very hipster vibe with very modern decor. Bar area is huge, perfect for date night. Plenty of tables inside and outside. I love the outside seating area with the fire place, perfect for a large group to hangout. The food is really where this place really shines. Now the Bison burger... wow! One of the best burgers I've ever had. The flavor was incredible and the meat was so tender. Get the meat cooked medium rare and you'll get a juicy experience. Truffle cheese fries were perfectly good and savory. The Eureka American burger was great - a simple burger that's better than standard. The honey-cinnamon sweet potatoes fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and sweet like dessert. Lots to alcoholic drinks to choose from. Great place all around. I'll most likely be back for happy hour.

Yelp
Once upon a time ... the FIG BURGER! The burger needs a huge, neon sign! It needs t-shirts! You need to try it! Super star! Oh, and the whiskey? That deserves its own review! The end.

Yelp
So corporate sent me a gift card to try again, went to a different location but still underwhelmed. Sunday night at 4:55 & place was empty. We had 3 different servers but I get it. Double smash burger on a Parmesan crusted bun was not Parmesan crusted at all, seemed like a regular bun. When it was brought back to the kitchen to check we were told the Parmesan falls off...take a look at my picture. Skimpy on the fries & they were lukewarm. The steak salad was good however. Someone in management stopped by & we told him about the meal. He comped us a dessert which was nice but don't think I need to go back to any Eureka.

Yelp
I, uh, don't have much to write about this place. Been here a couple times and was seated quickly (small and large party). Outside seating is good. Inside seating is good. Service is good as well. Food- not bad. Not great, but standard pub-ish fare (vegetarian review). Fries are good, beet burger is not bad, cauliflower is ok. Everything- ok. Sorry- that's about it for my take. No other intrigue or details to share. Parking was not too bad.
google avatar

Yelp
Upon arrival, the greeter warmly welcomed us and promptly guided us to our seats. Our waitress, who was in training, attended to us quickly and kindly offered a taster of the charcoal passion lemonade when we inquired about it. We decided to order a smash burger with fries and a bison burger, upgrading the fries to mac and cheese balls. The food was delicious, and we had no complaints. The charcoal passion lemonade was refreshing, though it may not suit those who prefer sweeter drinks. The decor was lovely, with options for both outdoor and I do or eating.

Yelp
This place deserves all 5 stars . The food and drinks were top notch mouth watering amazing. Adding the pictures just to share how great it was. The service is prompt and the staff were polite, friendly, and attentive. Thank you, we're definitely coming back.

Yelp
We have been here a handful of times and always enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. This visit the service and food lacked, unfortunately. Not sure if our server was newer. It felt like it with him having to check the specials, then relay them to us and we had to ask him for things vs him asking us-The drinks we ordered and water. I have ordered the tacos before and LOVED them! This time, there was more breading than fish. I was bummed but the fries and our drinks (Wild Child and red blend wine) were perfect. My fiancés beet burger was just as great as he remembered so he was pleased. Although it was a Sunday football night, it really wasn't packed so another reason we thought it was just an off night. Again, every other time was good all around. Would we return, yes! We love the outside area, TVs with bar and food.
google avatar

Chelsea C.

Yelp
Elevated classics that are well made. You would think because it's a chain its like just elevated American food, but there is a good variety to their menu that separates it from like a Chilis. Plating and presentation is cute, and that's because the ingredients themselves are quality. It's sophisticated, like there are not other places serving purple rice over poke, but that is with good reason sometimes that feels like a bit much, but that's their way of elevating.
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect drinks sooo yummy Thanks Miranda Also ordered the wings and truffle fries This place is amazing

Yelp
It's a hit and miss with both locations I have been to. This night I decided to grab a bite to eat with my teenage daughter. First off the Lola comes to the table and stood so far away from the table we could barely hear her and she couldn't hear us. But still took our order as if we were social distancing for COVID. We had to repeat ourselves several times. Hopefully that's the correct name as communicating was a struggle. My daughter ordered a burger with no onions and tomatoes and lemonade. GUESS WHAT!! Yep! You guessed it. The burger had tomatoes and onions on it. The lemonade came in a way I have never seen. I had to stop the waiter to make sure it wasn't alcohol in her drink . (pic posted) He said because the drink was made at the bar it came in a glass like that. We were going to send it back but, lola took forever to come from the back. My daughter took the tomatoes and onions off and attempted to eat the burger but she just couldn't manage because she doesn't eat tomatoes or onions. We had to flag down other staff walking by just to get more pickles because our waitress seemed to disappear. Once I spotted lola I asked her for the check because we were over the poor service and undesirable food. She took forever to bring the check. Once she dropped off the check she took forever to come back to check us out. I am a big in tipping so I still tipped. It was the lowest suggested amount. I wish I had it in me not to tip at all. Because she was so deserving of $0. I had been to this location plenty of times and this is the first time they have failed me. Not sure if I would return.

Yelp
Definitely an amazing experience. The food was top notch and had so much flavor and well seasoned! The campfire drink was beyond my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just the right amount of liquor for a quick buzz, I'm lightweight, and i enjoyed it with my date! The service was also really good and he was attentive and friendly and gave solid feedback when we asked for choices. Would definitely come again

Yelp
One of the nicest spots in Cerritos with a modem high end feel. Good happy hour and great selection of wine. Taylor our server was awesome! Very attentive and quick service.
google avatar

Yelp
The manager, Jonathan, actually reached out to me the day after my review and offered his apologies for our disappointing experience. He also refunded our entire bill which was so kind and unexpected! It's nice to see a manager truly care about their customers' experiences and do all that they can in order to improve these experiences. I'm down to give this place another chance in the future. Thank you, Jonathan!

Yelp
Great food great drinks atmosphere is awesome , but what I do have to say is that they need to change up their playlist.. music is a little boring. but other than that this place is awesome. Customer service is great my new favorite spot... thank you so much. We will definitely be back next week.

Yelp
Let's be straight up. 5 stars for the quality of service because of the team that works there - personable, efficient, and attentive. It's always the people that make the establishment awesome. I've been a fan of Eureka since their original locations in Redlands and Claremont so when they opened up in Cerritos, closer to home, I was happy to say the least. I'm a vegetarian and while there is really only one main dish I can eat, the beet burger, there are variety of new small bites to eat. Unfortunately, in the process they have eliminated a couple of very good items including the green beans and spinach/artichoke dip. Drinks are well made and the bar keeps are attentive to adjustments you want. Overall 5/5.

Yelp
We got the salmon kale salad and chipotle burger. The salad is a bit heavy on the dressing so I would def ask for light dressing on it next time. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The burger was so good! It had a nice smoky flavor and the bun was extremely soft. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Yelp
Amazing place and great food !! The burgers are to good !! Plus Rebecca is the best bartender ever I get so sad when's she not here lol , her energy , vibe and amazing attitude will make you come back to Eureka !!

Yelp
WOW WOW WOW. The food, ambiance and service all exceeded my expectations. I took my wife and two daughters (10 and 8) to dinner and we got the grilled chicken sandwich, fig burger, ceaser salad with steak, and mac and cheese from the kids menu. Each of us ate ALL of our food. There was nothing left on our plates, even the kids (that rarely happens). You can taste the quality in every bite, even the dessert (bourbon cake) was amazing. To put it in perspective, the Mac and cheese from the kids menu wasn't your typical kraft Mac and cheese or some other pre made boxed pasta, the Mac and cheese was homemade. That should tell you how much pride this place takes in its food. I would highly recommend Eureka if you're looking for quality food at a reasonable price.

Yelp
So today was my first date with this girl, and we decided to come to Eureka, we seeded by a very nice bartender named Becca. Not only has her attitude amazing her energy is captivating, but her drink making skills is incredible. Being on a first day and having Beccadrive the direction of the drink was very helpful. She is awesome. And definitely coming back for a second. Thank you a lot, Becca.

Yelp
Came in on a Thursday night to watch My Yankees close out to find some San Francisco football team on all the tv's As I was walking out to go next door, the young man SAYEL stopped me and asked if he could help. Let's just say I finished my night happy with a Eureka Old Fashion, Jalapeño Egg burger and my Yanks closed out and on to the ALCS. Thank you to SAYEL and his service. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Relaxing restaurant with a wide selection of drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Perfect to chit chat with your friends or catch up with significant other. I enjoyed the outdoor patio section that was by the bar seating. Perfect for a summer afternoon hang out. Our bartender was friendly and encouraged us to samples if we wanted to try a certain beer. Mimosa flight special on Saturdays were nice and tasty! Highly recommend to try this restaurant out if you haven't already.

Yelp
Wrote the following email to management 10 days ago and no answer or reply. Grosses me out thinking about it. Mr. Flores, I'm writing to you in regards to an unfortunate incident that occurred at the Cerritos Eureka last night. My wife and I were enjoying beer and food at the bar when we found a long hair in the taco that we ordered (not the first time we found hair in food at Eureka). It was disgusting to say the least and my wife threw up at the bar and again in the restroom. We were both upset when it happened and won't be returning again. Please make sure to have procedures in place to prevent an incident like this.

Yelp
Came and ate everything but the burger and wasn't mad at all about it. We shared the ahi poke stack ($18) which was so refreshingly good. The tuna is stacked on a bed of smashed avocado and some sort of rice maybe? It's Asiany in flavor - lots of soy/sesame/Fresno chili flavors - paired with wonton chips. It's a really good bite of ahi poke. I ordered the French dip sandwich ($22) which comes with roast beef, caramelized onions, Havarti + horseradish aioli. The bread holding the inerts was nice and girthy to withstand all the dipping action in the au jus. This was a great alternative if you're not in the mood for a burger. Eureka's menu has a little something for everyone. The space is big, kid friendly, and surprisingly takes resys for those who hate waiting.
