Eureka!

The quality of the burgers are not the same. They have gotten smaller. Why would you send out burnt potato fries? The cook knew he burnt them. The waitress knew when she brought them. When I asked for clarification about a drink. The waitress said "I thought we went over this?" They were polite but not friendly. Big difference.

First time coming here on date night. I love the outside and inside vibe of this place. I ordered the Al pastor fish tacos & my guy had the philly cheese sandwhich. Our server was attentive and all smiles. She did recommend my Spa Day Margarita and he got a Moscow Mule. Everything was 10/10- the food, the drinks and our server Leah

Eureka means "I found it," but unfortunately, I did not find it at this restaurant. Situated on the airfield at Hawthorne Airport, the atmosphere resembles a casual sports bar. While there is some parking available, it is paid. We came primarily for the food and were disappointed. I ordered the salmon, string beans, and puréed potatoes. The salmon was far too salty, as though someone was using salt to mask its age. However, the string beans and potato purée were good. The highlight of the evening was the Ahi Tuna Poke stack.

Family outing..We each tried and thoroughly enjoyed a variety of their burgers. The Fresno Fig pictured here was fresh, and the mixed elements of the burger made it very flavorful. Great service and atmosphere.

Tried Eureka since it was close to my Airbnb and omg am I glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious and I can't stop thinking about it lol Definitely recommend the mac and cheese balls and the orange Chile glaze chicken wings! I'm going to try and make another stop before we head to the airport, if I could rate the food higher than 5 stars I would!! The service was a little slow but it seemed like there was one waitress for everyone. Also, parking was a little annoying since their parking lot is so little we had to park at the airport parking which is $5 per hour after the 1st hour. But, food is absolutely worth it!!

Hidden gem! I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The service is excellent! It's definitely a must try. It is right on the airport grounds! The food was delicious!!!! And last but not least.. you have to try the carrot cake!!! Enough said! Limited front FREE parking, but there is paid parking for i believe 5$ for the first hr.. it is well worth it!

the service at Eureka absolutely deserves to be recognized. From the moment we sat down, our server which her name was Asa went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. She were incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, knew the menu inside and out, and made thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on.What really stood out was her genuine warmth and professionalism,they anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, kept our table perfectly paced, and made us feel like VIPs the entire time. It’s rare to encounter such top-tier hospitality. The restaurant already has an incredible ambiance and food, but the service truly elevated it to another level. Huge shoutout to our server Asa you’re a big reason we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for not just a great meal, but a truly exceptional dining experience.

I hadn’t heard of this spot until my girlfriend recommended it. We went on a chill Sunday night and it wasn’t busy at all. Our servers made sure we had everything we needed and the food was absolutely delicious. I don’t usually go for fish tacos but something about this place made me want to try them and I’m so glad I did. They were easily the best fish tacos I’ve ever had! The nachos were super satisfying and the mac and cheese balls had the perfect crispy coating. And to add, I requested a blackberry sour and the bartender mentioned she’d never made that drink before but would give it a try. And that she did-an incredible job! Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s also spacious with plenty of seating options indoors and outside.

Consistently Amazing! I've been to Eureka multiple times, and every single visit has been top-notch! The staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive, making each experience feel personal and welcoming. It's one of those places where you always feel taken care of. Now, let's talk about the food--wow. The steak nachos are an absolute must-try; they're honestly some of the best I've ever had. The burgers are always perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor. I've tried a few variations, and each one has been just as amazing as the last. And don't even get me started on the drinks--whether it's a craft cocktail or one of their non-alcoholic option, they always hit the spot and are expertly made. Eureka never disappoints, and it's become one of my go-to spots for both great food and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

The food was solid, but I found the service a bit slow. The first time I ordered, I got the beets burger and veggie tacos. When my order was dropped off, I asked for a cup of ranch and a hibiscus juice, but they took a while to arrive. Later, I placed a to-go order for a quesadilla, which is typically filled with meat and sauerkraut. I had requested a plain cheese quesadilla, but they got it wrong. I'm not too picky, so I just ate it when I got home. Although I'm usually patient and understanding, considering it was a weekday and not overly busy, I expected the service to be faster. The place has a cool vibe, but due to the slow service, I'd be hesitant to return--though the food itself was solid.

Really enjoy coming here for an afternoon special right after work or even just when I'm in the area. The beer selection is a little lacking but the cocktails are well above average and the bartenders are friendly and funny. Besides the bar, every meal option that I've had here is delicious and always leaves me satisfied. It can get pretty packed here so plan accordingly. The bartenders is pretty lovely and promotes good conversation and ambiance!

We love eating at Eureka! It's my kids favorite place as well. Their Mac and cheese balls are bomb. As many times I have been to Eureka I can't help myself but to order Jalapeño Egg burger with sunny side egg. My husband likes Spicy fried chicken sandwich. He has also tried 28 day dry aged bone marrow sandwich but didn't enjoy it. It was lacking flavor and was underwhelming. Their drinks are great and my favorite is "The Floor is Lava". Kids enjoy their Eureka American and Bison Burger.

THESE BURGERS ARE WORTH THE PRICE!! the best was their limited time spicy Halloween one, I hope they bring it back! I've tried a chicken sandwich and it was good but not great. But eating inside the restaurant is such a cool ambiance, seeing the airport from the window, and my server was so nice! I keep coming back because their burgers are so juicy and flavorful!

We went for happy hour and wasn't disappointed. The Wild Child cocktail was absolutely delicious, the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. Food was delicious and fresh. The inside was beautiful and we got to watch a private jet get refueled outside. Service was attentive and very nice. Definitely recommend this place for HH!

The food and service are excellent. This is a scheduled waypoint a block away after a sitdown with SpaceX rocketeers. I had the bonemarrow 'sanguewich, and Elaine made me one of the best Manhattans I've ever had. Eureka! Is now on my list of one of my favorite spots! I came here with 3 of my friends for lunch and we were excited to try it based off all of the amazing reviews we saw. The restaurant was busy since it was popular but the staff were super nice and had no issue accommodating us on a table. The restaurant has an overall fun and modern vibe. It's the perfect location to catch a game since there are multiple tv's or to catch a drink and some food at if you are trying to head to a venue in the area. The menu is pretty extensive and literally had choices for anything you may be in the mood for. I got the grilled chicken sandwich which was absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating and finished my whole plate. I got to check out the happy hour menu which was great and I definitely plan on coming back to check it out. Take time to look at the planes outside and enjoy your visit, definitely recommend this place!

The happy hour here can't be beat. 3 cocktails to choose from for $8.50 each. 3 appetizers ($6-7) and a burger and fries ($12) The cocktails are generous and refreshing, I chose the spa day which was a cucumber margarita with a tajin rim and my husband chose the old fashioned. We were pretty early for our event so we both chose another drink, I shockingly ordered another spa day.. it's good I can't help it. My husband chose a $5 happy hour beer on a recommendation from our server. We shared the fried pickles, which I found salty but my husband devoured them. The Mac n cheese balls, I can't say enough about how delicious they are. Our dinners consisted of the $12 burger and fries and I opted for the ahi tuna appetizer which was plenty for dinner. The food is great and we always look forward to stopping here before concerts. And the view of the plane landing at LAX and the airport on the property cannot be beat.

Excellent fish and chips made with mahi mahi fish and wonderfully seasoned fries. Fresh Cesar salad with tender chicken - delicious. Great ambiance and excellent service. Will be back!

I was super excited to meet up with my friend for lunch and had no idea what I was in for! I am a total aviation nerd (meaning I could sit and watch planes, takeoff and land for hours), and I really love that this restaurant sits on the end of a runway. The other thing I want to point out for women, if you are looking to become (or date) an Aerospace engineer or rocket scientist - the crowd skewed mostly male so be the one who helps bring more women to the table! This place presented an adventure that I look forward to repeating multiple times. From the wide variety of drinks, appetizers, and entrées that I now want to try, I can return several times and have a whole new experience each time. Everybody that works here is super warm and friendly from the hosts to the servers. I love that there is indoor and outdoor (with shade) seating. The noise level is on the louder side with planes outside and because the place is packed inside, but you don't even notice it when you are chatting with friends at your table. It had been one of those weeks, plus I hadn't had coffee yet that day, so I started my lunch with an espresso martini. It was really smooth and tasty and hit the spot. It was really hard for me to decide what to eat because I really wanted to try everything in one sitting, but I went for the veggie beet burger and it was so good! It was delicious and I didn't even feel like I was eating a veggie burger to be honest. Super satisfying and filling. I ordered the truffle fry sauce on the side and the flavor was so amazing - there was no guessing that these were truffle fries like happens in some other restaurants. I can't wait to go back with anyone who wants to go with me!

Came in to watch the baseball game and we were glad to see decent sized TVs -5 the bar! We ordered the smash burger, wings and Brussels sprouts. Out of the three items, the wings were the best. The Brussel sprouts were too sweet and the burger had too much sauce on it. If you like a lot of sauce on your foods, you would like it. We ordered dessert afterwards and was told that the bourbon cake was the most popular item. However.... It was way too sweet for us. Service was good and we liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Might go back to try other things on their menu

Haven't been to a Eureka restaurant in several years. Used to go monthly to their Huntington Beach location. When I friend suggested it as a burger place near LAX, I was all for it. Highly recommend the Fresno Fig. A delicious burger with quality ingredients.

This was a fun surprise arriving to this location. It's next to an airport. Happy hour is 3-6. Atmosphere is chill and fun to watch the planes take off. I didn't get a picture of the Spa day margarita. Wow that was amazing with the foam they put on top. Jayda was so kind and friendly. The whole staff was very tentative though. We also got the spicy chicken sandwich which isnt pictured but was yummy! We spent about $72 with 3 drinks 3 apps and a main plate that we shared. 10/10 I wanna come back ! I would travel to come to this test kitchen just to try everything else!

I went for dinner on Friday night after 6, hoppy hour was over, we waited a few minutes to be seated. Once seated, I had to ask one of the wait staff for service because no one was tending us for at least 10 minutes. We finally ordered, and I must say, the food made up for the lack of service. If it wasn't for the subpar service, I would have given the dinner five stars. The wings were by far my fav, followed by the pulled pork nachos! The place is not too spacious but they have the seating arrangement pretty tacked down. It can get a little loud l, but it didn't bother me.

My neighbor suggested this restaurant. I drive by here frequently and never noticed this restaurant. We came on a Friday night and this place was crowded. We sat in the patio area on a hot summer night. The patio is enclosed with a wall of bushes. The bartender is great at making cocktails. My hurricane martini was delicious. The wings are delicious. I'll skip the nachos next time. There are TV's just about the bar area. Great view of runway of airplanes and helicopter takeoffs and landing. Parking can be tight. Our server was excellent she made sure we were enjoying our visit. This is a trendy crowd restaurant.

Eureka! has been one of my boyfriend and eyes favorite lunch destinations. What we really like about Eureka! is how delicious the food is. we always sit at the bar because we need quick service if you are dining in you could be waiting a while to get helped. This restaurant has a sports bar vibe so you'll see plenty of TVs to watch your favorite entertainment.

After a long day at the 2024 LA Fit Expo, we decided to treat ourselves to dinner and Eureka! We found uh... Eureka! Although not exactly near the LA Convention Center, it was very freeway accessible. What a great place to wind down, relax and enjoy a good meal. Lots of great flavors to choose from. Parking was super easy. The service was very tentative and helpful. We sat in a booth but the bar looks like a lot of fun too. We had the jalapeño egg burger, braised short ribs and chicken strips. For appetizers we went with some standards like the ahi poke stack and the spinach artichoke dip. All very tasty. This is great place whenever you're in the area!

Don't let the airport noise outside put you off, it's quiet in here. Really enjoyed the inside. Good vibes. Great food and beer. Solid service.

First off they do have Tv's for you sports fans which I didn't come for I came for the happy hour food. We sat in the patio are outside which was enclosed with tree plants with a very good view of the planes at hawthorne airport (mind you the airport is on the lot.) I order eureka burger cut in half. So good and fresh with a side of fries which i end up ordering more because they were good. Drinks reasonable price on happy hour menu. Our server Maria waa nice, informative and great nails

The servers were very friendly. The downside is waiting for our food.... Took FOREVER. There were SO many tables that haven't gotten their food..... we probably waited over 30 min for anything... Apps and entrees all come out at the same time.. Server NEVER came to check up on us. We asked for lemon slices, never came. Had to ask again. The table next to us came waaay before us but we got food first? And when we finished our meal their food came. Service is horrible... - Ahi Poke Stack 2.1/5 It INCREDIBLY NEEDED some kind of citrus. Asked for lemon... came 15 min later.. with lemon squeezed, 3.1/5. Also the chips that came with it were VERY STALE. - Mac & Cheese balls 1.9/5 They came out cold. - Bison burger 4.6/5 Burger was delicious! The pepper was a little spicy. The burger was spicy, sweet, savory. Don't get anything else other than burgers here. - BBQ pork ribs 3.4/5 Meat was tender. BBQ sauce was OK. Parking is free in a lot.

If you're looking for a quick bite and some good drinks I'd come here!! They have indoor and outdoor seating although when I went the outdoor heaters weren't working but we were bundled up so no biggie.

10/27/24 @ 2:56pm. The host was extremely rude. Empty restaurant, why was the wait to sit so long. Member of party asked to see a menu, why did the host sarcastically say "oh, by the way those are not for taking home..." Sad to see this. I love Eureka... we frequent the Claremont location a lot.

I love this place! The food is good, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is super chill. The best part in my opinion is the staff and the service they provide. David and Ciara I hope I spelled her name right, best bar tenders ever. You gotta love it when your bar tender is consistent you know your drink will taste the same every time and they're both friendly always smiling and can handle the crowd. And then there's Asa who comes thru with the recommendations that never fail. She's upbeat and personable always friendly always smiling great energy. This place is a gem

Stumbled on this spot and so glad I did! It's got more of a sports bar feel - great to catch a game. But the food and drinks are way better than your average sports bar/restaurant. I'd definitely recommend trying one of their cocktails. I got the Morning Peaches one which has some crazy sounding ingredients but all goes together really well. I also need to know how they make their sweet potato fries because they're the crispiest I've ever had. Service was friendly too!

Amazing service, ambiance, vibes from the employees and food! Shaneika was our lovely server and she was the best and most friendliest person ever. She kindly shared she had gotten a Ginger Shot made specialty by the current bar tender on shift and I was like omg please add one of those to my order! So delicious and cleaning after our meal. I got a bunch of appetizer small dishes as I wanted to try majority of the apps. Bf got the Fig burger which was not disappointing. My fave was def the Brussels sprouts. I like the touch of ginger they add! Frida got a bowl of icy water which she quite enjoyed! She felt like she was seen and not ignored ^_^ lol A great spot for lunch or dinner given the circumstances of there not being much options out here they have lots of good choices on their menu! It's been a minute, but Eureka never disappoints! The flavor and consistency in the way the prepare and deliver your meal to you id always the same. I lovveeee this food and coincidentally always order the exact same thing. It's been 6 years let that speak me for me....

Popped in for lunch today. Had the Charcoal passion fruit iced tea. Delish! And the pulled pork Sammy. Big portion great value. The fries were so good! I was greeted at the door enthusiastically by the greeter and sat. My server María was super polite and affable. Great service all around. The other server Asa also checked in with me and was really sweet. Will definitely be back as I'm here often. Chill vibe, good music and tvs for sports/news.

I was on the hunt for a casual dinner spot that was good for large groups and found this place on Yelp. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and decided on Eureka since it was close by, had a good selection of food and had capacity to seat large groups. I called ahead of time to make a reservation and they were able to accommodate our party of 8 on a Friday night. We arrived around 7:30pm and got seated right away. It was a bit busy, but that's expected for a weekend. We were seated inside and the interior was pretty dark and had a cocktail lounge vibe to it. It was almost too dark inside because I had a hard time reading the menus lol I ordered the Fresno fig burger with regular fries. Super flavorful and juicy burger! Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. We also ordered nachos and artichoke dip. It took a while for our food and drinks to arrive but overall, food here was spot on. We also ordered a group cocktail that was shareable between 4 people. For about $28, it was a pretty good price! The drinks here were definitely strong so you're getting your moneys worth. I recommend coming here if you're looking for a good burger spot to try!

I meant to do this last week but when a friend mentioned Eureka I had nothing but great things to say about this place. although alittle small great place to eat. food was awesome but it wasn't the food it was the service by Shaneika!!! I felt special by her service(is she single?) very attentive, professional and knows her stuff give her a raise!!! And her smile....Great representation of the company...will definitely be back hopefully she's there or the other servers better be like her.....

Stopped at Eureka! before heading to the Forum for a concert. Decided on a mimosa flight which were delicious and made with a generous pour. The food was absolutely delicious we substituted our fries for sweet potato fries. The honey and cinnamon take the sweet potato fries to another level. The burger was 10/10 delicious!!! And you can never go wrong with the Mac and cheese balls. The hostess, server and bartender were all very nice and friendly. Great environment. Not too loud but definitely lively. You get to see planes landing and departing from the big windows. Indoor and outdoor seating both have great views. If you're in the area or going to a concert you definitely want to check out Eureka! Parking can be difficult. But we were lucky to find someone leaving as we were making a second round.

Decided to go here on valentines day since everything else was booked up. I have visited this location years ago and I will say my recent visit was better than before. I also visited the location in Cerritos. There wasn't a wait. However once we were seated we waited although the place wasn't crowded. I believe we were 2 hours ahead of closing time. We were waited on by the bartender who had to also make drinks for the restaurant so we weren't catered to as expected. Once our food arrived we were good especially since the food was good, drinks were great as well. Towards the end of the evening the staff started cleaning. I didn't particularly like that we sat down to a flickering candle and was removed before we finished our meal with a tiny plastic plant. I believe they should have left the occupied tables alone until we left. So that took from the experience. Other than that that's that.

First off, our waitress Asa was AMAZING!!! The service was next level and the food was firrrrrrre! I will come back here for sure. I had the mimosa flight (my fav' was the hibiscus flavor), fish n chips, and the bourbon cake for dessert (with ice cream)...

I wasn't super impressed with the food to be honest. Not bad, but not great either. Extra points for the nice ambiance and service. Very close to the Hawthorne airport, so you can also watch the planes take off.

I come here a lot for work. It's nice when it's a team lunch. The staff is super nice and great. The food is just kind of expensive and they sometimes don't have enough seating.

Ok ok I'm sorry I'm docking 1 star because you guys are always understaffed when I go! And there is hardly any parking But I absolutely love the food and the ambiance here. It is right next to the Hawthorne airport so I love getting a window seat and seeing the aircraft depart and arrive. The cocktails are amazing. I ordered the lychee martini and switched to tequila blanco and muah bartenders kiss. It was the perfect amount of sweet and strong enough for me. The burgers are a must try. The last time I came the broccoli was delicious but the most recent time I went it was definitely a different sauce than the one before. Please go back to the original recipe if you can because it is so hard to find a healthier veggie alternative if you wanted to order that instead of ordering fries. The Mac and cheese balls are another must if you are a Mac and cheese lover. They were also out of the chicken wings last time I went but these chicken wings are another must try.

Absolutely love this place!! It's great for happy hours!! The food is always delicious and the vibes are great here. The one thing that is terrible is the parking!!!! But hey ‍ I keep coming back so haha Thanks Eureka!! I'll be back again soon!!

Completely different than the other eurekas I've been to. We'll have to see how this plays out. The service wasn't the best like we've had in other Eureka. Parking is atrocious. It was extremely difficult to find parking to be able to eat there. If you're used to Eureka food, then you will be extremely happy with the selections at the menu. Everything was very tasty. I would have to think twice before going to this Eureka in the future, because of the parking situation, and the lack of outstanding service. Stopped here because it was on the way to the YouTube theater. I will say this, you get a great view of Watching Airplanes takeoff and land.

Had the steak salad, the few steak piece's It did have were so dry left me disappointed.

EUREKA is located between the Hawthorne Airport runway and the Fire station next to SpaceX. Let me start by saying this restaurant has a full bar with Happy Hour. The views is Allsome of ground level, Patio and upstairs dining area to the Runway. The food is excellent. My waitress Asa was great.
