Google
A truly charming spot that reflects the care and passion of a family owned restaurant with a subtle Portuguese touch. Everyone here is welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The food is always fresh and the space is spotless. Having breakfast available all day is a huge plus, and the house baked pastries are absolutely irresistible. As a local real estate professional, I often pick up their pastries for open houses and they are always a big hit. Highly recommended.

I stopped by Euro Café in Claremont for brunch, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I ordered the linguiça omelette, and wow — it was perfection. The omelette was fluffy and full of flavor, with just the right balance of smoky sausage and melty cheese, and the seasoned potatoes on the side were crispy and golden. Paired with a fresh mimosa, it was the kind of meal that instantly puts you in a good mood. And then there was the butterscotch cake — easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. Moist, rich, and beautifully balanced between sweet and buttery, it was the perfect finish to the meal. The vibe here is warm and inviting, with friendly staff and a relaxed European café atmosphere that makes you want to linger over your drink. Whether you’re grabbing a solo brunch or catching up with friends, Euro Café hits all the right notes. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu — this place is a true Claremont gem!

Google
What a gem! While traveling, I love discovering local spots, and Euro Cafe did not disappoint. The Linguica omelet was hearty and delicious, but my eyes got the best of me, so I also tried the Euro breakfast—wow! A friendly regular stopped by our table to rave about the Pão de Deus, a weekend-only treat that sells out fast. Luckily, I snagged one, and it was divine! Euro Cafe is a must-visit, and I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area. Pro tip: my eyes were bigger than my stomach, so I’ve got some goodies for my early flight tomorrow!

Google
We were looking for a place to stop for lunch halfway between Palm Desert and Van Nuys - and after the first place we stopped at only offered takeout, we found this charm. A very friendly and helpful staff member (so sorry your name now escapes me) walked us through the menu with patience. We ended up with the Bifana and chicken paninis, a matcha latte, mocha latte and an assortment of pastries. Everything was excellent. We wish we lived in the area as we were left wanting more.

Google
Overall food was good. Latte was good. Ordered to avocado toast with fried eggs. Bread was hard to cut through. I did ask for another slice lightly toasted. It seemed it was only seasoned with red chili flakes no salt or pepper.

Jamie R.

Google
The service is wonderful and quick! My meatball panini came out hot and tasty. The side salad was okay. The chicken in the Caesar salad was incredibly dry. Matcha latte tastes like a matcha latte. I did not get any sweetener added and they make sure you know that you can add some.

Google
Home away from home. My fav place for a morning latte or for a chicken pesto panini. (Their fresh baked goods are equally great)! It’s a community staple and is ran by a sweet family and amazing staff.

Google
Location: Visable From Street, Parking: Decent, Service: Good, they did check on us and refilled our coffee without asking. Price for food received: for me, based on area Decent, Indoor seating: Yes, Outdoor seating: Yes, Overall, first time try and I can say I was happy to stop here. The menu choices looked good, and it took me a bit to pick. Once chosen, it did arrive in a decent amount of time. The taste to me seemed a bit flat, missing something to bring it to a higher level. They did bring a house sauce that gave it a better flavor. Now, the dessert, on the other hand, was packed with a lot and was delicious. I will come back to try other menu items . For now, 4 stars...

Yelp
Super cute brunch place with an outdoor patio that's dog friendly! The indoor was super cute but since we had our dog, we opted to sit outside. It's a cafe ordering style so you order food first with the cashier and then you sit down. Food came out very quickly for lunch service on a Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich on focaccia bread which came with a side (I asked for fruits, but you also have a choice of cottage cheese or side salad) and my fiancé ordered the steak sandwich on a brioche bun (this one does not come with a side), but I would say the steak sandwich is a must! They were not stingy with the size of the steak and definitely felt of value for the price. Both were really good! I'd definitely come back.

Yelp
I ordered the omelette and got the potatoes. They served me the best service, the toast, the jam, the drip coffee and the windowed location. Overall I would love to visit this place everyday if I could afford it. The ambiance is amazing. Down to earth and full of family vibes. Small, chill.

Yelp
My first time here with my friend Ray , his recommendation for us to meet here to celebrate our birthday lunch . Euro cafe has indoors and out doors dining , pet friendly outdoor spaces. Place your order at the register, and a waitstaff will deliver food to the table. Each staff we encountered were friendly. Two stop by to check in on us and to clear some of our dishes and offered to refill my soda. I opted for ratatouille omelette with mushrooms, bell peppers and onions , a side of toast and assorted fruit bowl. I was hoping for more mushrooms in my omelette . Either way it was good. My husband and I shared Tudor soup , a tomato base broth with cabbage , carrots , potato and a few slivers of collard greens. It was a tad on the bland side for me and lacking flavor . It could use some herbs to wake up the flavors. Other than that a great place for breakfast and lunch with a charming family oriented feel ambiance .

Yelp
This is one of the best brunch spots I've ever been to! Euro Cafe is a family owned business in Claremont serving up Portuguese brunch and the food is incredible! The service is amazing, the servers and cashier are super friendly. The food came out quickly and the prices are fair especially for the quality of food you're getting! I had the chai latte and the Linguica omelette and both were spectacular. Everything is fresh and delicious. The latte was spiced to perfection, the omelette and linguica sausage were seasoned perfectly and they even have Portuguese hot sauce upon request. I would dine here again. Check this place out for sure!

Yelp
Once of my favorite places to stop for a little pastry or for their Portuguese/Italian dishes. The paninis and pastas here are light and flavorful, just perfect for a late breakfast or brunch. The pastries are well made, flaky puff pastry, decadent cakes, and strong coffee to pair with it all The staff here are so friendly and warm, always recognizing regular customers and welcoming them back. Even though it is a walk up and order style cafe, they still check in on you often and even offer to refill waters and coffees I really recommend stopping here if you are interested in "euro cafe" haha, it's casual, it's cute, and it's delicious

Yelp
The best cortado anywhere! This is my favorite espresso drink and it's hard to come by a good one. They consistently create an excellent cortado--and with oatmilk, which says even more. The drip coffee is also delicious. They have a stunning array of unique dishes as well. I highly recommend the Vegetais soup and the Azorean Tuna Salad. The staff is also so friendly and accommodating and make you feel right at home.

Yelp
We went to a coffee ride last weekend and we found this Euro Cafe and yes I like it ! The pastries are so good and the coffee. I missed the breads in Europe but not now beacause I found here and close to our place ! Bonjour !!!

Yelp
I went here yesterday around 9:30-40ishwith my mother for breakfast after my doctor appointment, turns out that the food was good, I had a breakfast panini while my mother had an avocado toast but I want to add a small complaint about the panini. I ate the first half at the cafe but when I had it the next day, I opened it up because it didn't taste like an egg panini since there seemed to be less eggs and cheese. I noticed the day I was eating the panini, it was good but I didn't see any visible cheese but when I took a bite there's cheese. So what I did was cooked another egg and added more cheese, I even added Japanese mayo to the panini because it was a little boring. And service was not great but good. Just reminds me of Mt. Sac's cafe 91. Ambiance looks okay like a normal cafe but I think they need to change their furnitures but the front desk was nice. Also the cinnamon roll is huge, my mother ordered a cinnamon roll to go for my brother at home and from the looks of it, it's actually big

Yelp
I went to the Euro Cafe located at the country club. The vegetarian panini was delicious! It has zucchini, mushrooms, squash, pesto, and cheese in a banh mi baguette. The detox smoothie was filled to the top where even some of the juice came out from the top. It was so refreshing on this warm mid May day. The Mac salad was pretty good too. They also have little carrot and celery pieces in it too. The service was quick and no one was in front of me. The ambiance is nice too. I can see myself eating here while waiting for people to arrive. It's pretty close to where you enter the country club so it's a nice place to grab a quick bite while waiting for someone or if you're done with your workout.

Yelp
Always a great place to eat and have a good chat with a friend. Great food for breakfast and lunch. Desserts and coffee are outstanding! The service is usually excellent!

Yelp
Good food and service. I like the casual coffee ambience ! Would come back again when in the area .

Yelp
Cute, small, and charming family-owned cafe. The staff treats their guests like family. Many locals from Claremont eat here because of the quality food and service. I personally have been dining at Euro cafe the past couple years and even had their pasta catered for my parties. My usual "go-to" food includes: chocolate chip cookies, Italian soda, and grilled chicken panini sandwich with pasta salad. Special shout out to Mariana for always providing superior customer service and always making it feel like "home".
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for dinner with friends and was happy to know they have dinner specials only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays introducing various Portuguese dishes. On this Thursday evening, their special was Feijoada à portuguesa for $14.95. It's off the menu and was a hit! I had no idea what that was but what is life if you don't try new things and find enjoyment when the new thing is tasty! My friend indicated if they could add a bit of side kale and they were so gracious to accommodate that. We all ordered the same thing and loved it. Also tried their tambor dessert which was a flaky pastry with cinnamon and sliced almonds. Great wait staff, attentive, and friendly. Place can hold big groups and although they close at 7:30, we didn't leave until 8:30-really accommodating. I'm definitely coming back to try the dinner specials on the other days.

Yelp
I've been coming to Euro Cafe for years and I love this little family owned place!! I brought a friend along with me today and they asked if she had been here before. She told them it was her first time. The employee gave us both a creme Brulee tart that had a yummy custard filling to try!! My latte was beautiful and loved the Linguica omelet. I forgot to take a pic of that because I was so hungry. Thank you Euro. Hope you continue to do good business. I'll be back soon.

Yelp
What happened to Euro Cafe in Claremont, Ca? My boyfriend and I went there on a Sunday morning around 11 o'clock. The coffee was cold and the service was terrible. We were brought our silverware in one napkin that was wrinkled, and it was thrown on the table. Our food which consisted of eggs and potatoes And toast was impossible to eat. The bacon was lumped up limp and hardy cooked on the plate. The eggs were tough but the potatoes were charcoal black, and completely un edible, so disappointing . I couldn't believe it! It was expensive for nothing. Sadly, we will not be going back because we used to enjoy dining there.

Yelp
Loved this little hole in the wall restaurant in Claremont. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and there was so many people there. The barista was super nice welcomed us, but when we ordered this lady who rang us up was so rude. It was our first time here so I had a few questions about the food and she just had an attitude the whole time. But other than that The food was pretty good. I ordered the chicken sandwich with the pasta salad the sandwich was very tasty. The pasta salad needed a little more flavor for me. My husband got the tuna salad sandwich, he's a very picky eater but he loved it. It was good. We also got the peanut butter smoothie. It was really good. If you're around the area it's a must try. And it's near the Claremont loop so after your done hiking stop by.

Yelp
Such a small cozy cafe place. It gets busy during lunch time. Pasta is well cooked and seasoning is good

Yelp
It was my first time trying this cafe a few months ago. And I wished I tried it sooner! It's a cute little spot that looks like it attracts a bunch of their locates back in. That's how I knew this place must be good! My fiancé and I had the fettuccine Alfredo, the euro beef dip with pasta salad, and the Luisa soup. Everything was so delicious and everyone was so friendly and helpful when I had questions about their menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Lovely breakfast at this popular and busy cafe. Excellent efficient and friendly service, too. The Denver omelette was perfectly cooked and the bacon in the Breakfast panini was crispy just how we like. My son said it was standout yummy bacon. We would definitely come back; next time I will try the pastry and the avocado toast as they looked scrumptious.

Nate I.

Yelp
Food was great! We will definitely be back if we're in the area again. I really enjoyed my turkey omelette with egg whites and the linguica was great! The PÃO DE DEUS was the best part imo!
google avatar

Yelp
Really delicious food and even better customer service! Very authentic cafe with a nice outdoor area to bring your pets. We'll definitely be back many more times!

Yelp
We revisited this place after a poor experience a year or so ago. Once again, we were very disappointed. Our order was wrong and took three tries to get it corrected. Even when the staff finally handed us the correct order, they didn't apologize for the extended wait nor the errors. Mind you, we ordered a simple sandwich with a side of pasta salad. Not difficult. Not only that, but our tuna sandwich was inedible! The sandwich was supposed to contain hard boiled eggs, which would have been fine, if the eggs were cooked; they were uncooked and runny! Yuck!

Yelp
I'm thankful as heck for an old stand-by like Euro Cafe. This is that type of place that you go "hmm, this was better than I was expecting!" - but it's not, like, especially exciting food or a thoughtful menu. Just really strong, basic, slightly Portuguese-inspired, better-than-a-diner food. The Cournicopia salad is my go-to, and it's one of those gooey, naughty salads that has 24 different ingredients on-top and a sticky-sweet onioney dressing and a slab of pressed garlic toast. I am a tuna salad enthusiast, and theirs is nothing to write home about. Their chocolate chip cookies are freakishly delicious - tiny in size (huzzah, if you're on a diet! Order three if you aren't). They are always just the perfect, consummate lil chocolate chip cookie, crisp on the edges and soft in the middle and boasting a lovely salty-sweet balance. It's not blowing-you-out-of-the-water like some gourmet-ass ccc, but it's really stalwart and slaps harder than another offering I can think of the greater Claremont-Upland-Montclair area. (Sorry Creme Bakery!)
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food and love the atmosphere. The azorean tuna salad is so good. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious, and let me not say the mocha latte that was so good!! They made it so special by putting our names on it!! Mariana is so kind and friendly and she's such a great host!!
google avatar

Yelp
Waited 25 mins for a sandwich. And they weren't that busy. And no apology as to how long it took
google avatar

Polina Z.

Yelp
I tried this place for the first time and really liked it. They have so many options on their menu. We tried Le Champignon and the French Revolution Crepe, both of which were great. We also ordered the Lavender and Sweet Spaniard Lattes, and they tasted like heaven. I would definitely go back.

Yelp
Food was delicious and service was amazing. Came here after a hike and now my spot to come after a hike. Would recommend this location to everyone.

Yelp
I came in to celebrate a breakfast birthday with my son and Zuleima gave us outstanding service she went out of her way to make me a special latte custom made. Shes talented and friendly. Yelp
Used Yelp to pick a place that was close and it picked this place. Boy I am happy that it did! The customer service of way beyond great! Eric waited on us and he was so friendly and helpful in letting me know all they had. The food was just as great! Eric recommended I get the chicken panini, chicken was tender and very good flavor. Chicken Alfredo was the best I think I ever had! Chicken was tender and the flavor was awesome! I also had a soup, like Toto (not sure of the name) it had sausage and other veggies was so good! Oh and don't forget the chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookie and a coconut gooey bar all wonderful!! Finally a place with great service and great food both!!! Hard to find these days!

Yelp
PRO-TIP: 1 free soft drink with 2 entree purchase ! I had zero internet connection here so I couldn't redeem this unfortunately... It's a cute cafe and there's lots of parking since it shares it with a large plaza. You order and pay at the counter inside and they give you a sign placard for your table (really cute that it's themed after locations in Europe instead of just a number!). The decor is very welcoming, warm, and simple. I thought it was super cute that each table had a small pumpkin on it, the small details are a nice touch haha. We got the: 1) Pasta Portuguesa: -It's a penne pasta with garlic, onion, bell peppers, olives, tomato, and Portuguese linguica sausage. -It also came with a side of garlic toast and shredded cheese on top. -This came with lots of cooked veggies and sauce. -The sausage was alright, nothing special that would have been mind boggling to me, so I guess I don't have the palette to distinctively tell apart regular sausage and lingquica sausage. -Overall this penne pasta isn't too different from a standard penne pasta that I could get elsewhere, it was filling though ! 2) Bifana: -It's a sandwich with marinated pork loin Portuguese style served on a pressed panini -It comes with a side of pasta salad (with light seasoning and vinaigrette) and this wasn't too bad, great texture change when eating the sandwich -Solid sandwich, the meet filling was decent and moist. It came with a dip as well. Honestly, I would have been a bit more excited if the menu offered more unique European dishes. Aside from what we ordered and maybe 3-4 other things, everything else seemed like something you can get at a typical American diner or breakfast place or an Italian restaurant. Thought this was more of a 3.5, but they checked up on us multiple times and we had a nice time all around.

Yelp
My daughter and I came here today and we were very pleased as usual! The gentleman at the counter gave us 100% great service!!! Food was excellent!!! We had our Blueberry & Strawberry Crêpes with Whipped Cream, Euro Cafe beef dip with au jus and pasta salad. My daughter had a white chocolate mocha coffee with oatmilk. Always glad to come here. Definitely recommend you to try if you haven't been here before!

Ginger A.

Yelp
I love their tea & pastries. Comfortable seating & friendly atmosphere. Don't forget to sign up for the reward points

Maggie S.

Yelp
My husband and I would frequent this place At some point food was good. Pricy but good They ask for tip although you go pay and wait. Soon after a bunch of good experience 3 kitchen workers quit. After that the food was never same. Cold food or they added something we didn't request. Bread untoasted etc. manager figured we were not worth the trouble. Indicated she would not serve us if we returned. We gladly went to Corkies near whole food. Great alternative. They lost two good customers because manager had a tantrum Not ever returning.

Edrina M.

Yelp
We love this charming cafe! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by smells of the delicious food and an extremely friendly staff. The service here is exceptional - attentive, and friendly. Marianna was especially amazing! The food is simply outstanding. Every time we've eaten here I always get a blueberry scone, it's a must. This time we got the breakfast sandwich with linquiça and breakfast potatoes. A+! They have a great array of coffee drinks and teas. I got the matcha latte which was of course delicious as well Whether you're looking for a leisurely brunch, a quick pick-me-up, or a cozy spot to catch up with friends, this place has it all!

Yelp
Ordered takeout over the phone about a week ago while visiting a friend nearby. Food was ready in about 15 mins. I was craving brunch / salads and Euro Cafe came up on a nearby search. The good: -Crepes with Blueberries, the crepes were light and buttery and not too sweet. I really enjoyed this! -Grilled Chicken Panini, the chicken was flavorful and it was a decent sandwich. The meh: -Turkey Panini, wasn't as flavorful as the Grilled Chicken Panini and I could barely taste the pesto mayo. Could've been better. -Natas (Egg Tarts) were burnt and sticky and very tiny for the price. Would not order this again. Paninis get a choice of Foccacia or French Roll and Greens or Pasta Salad. I got Foccacia and Greens for both. Green Salad comes with a side of their balsamic vinaigrette.

Michael G.

Yelp
Food is generally good but expensive. Nice place to sit and talk; inside or outside. Service is always friendly and very good.

Yelp
This place has been a nice reliable breakfast spot time and again. Decent food, friendly staff, good in & out breakfast.

Yelp
Went here for the first time to get some lunch. Everyone was super nice and welcoming as soon as I walked in. The food was good and the raspberry mocha was amazing! I would definitely recommend and I will be going back.

Yelp
We have been coming to this restaurant over a year . Service and food quality has been going down .food quality is inconsistent, When you complain about the food , the female manager doesn't like it . Today she received to service me . So we are not returning to this restaurant

Yelp
This hidden gem in Claremont is a must try! The best Caramel latte ever! Made by Alisha the best barista!!! And I'm absolutely telling the truth! This has been by far one of my trusted- go to places. It's truly a wholesome place! I've never been disappointed with every dish, pastry, or coffee drink. My favorite go to is their panini's, with a choice of either a salad or fries. It's always made to perfection and fresh! Also they have daily homemade soups. My favorite is the Luisa! It's divine and comforting on a cold day! Give them a try!

Yelp
I'm a big fan of coffee, and I've tried cappuccinos from all over the place and the one here was really good! The coffee is made with fresh, high-quality beans, and the baristas know how to make a perfect cappuccino. The foam is smooth and velvety, and the espresso is rich and flavorful. The cappuccino is served in a large mug, and it's always hot and fresh. The coffee is great, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious cappuccino. They do have amazing salad smoothies as well . Will try them on my next visit for sure .
