PRO-TIP: 1 free soft drink with 2 entree purchase !
I had zero internet connection here so I couldn't redeem this unfortunately...
It's a cute cafe and there's lots of parking since it shares it with a large plaza.
You order and pay at the counter inside and they give you a sign placard for your table (really cute that it's themed after locations in Europe instead of just a number!). The decor is very welcoming, warm, and simple. I thought it was super cute that each table had a small pumpkin on it, the small details are a nice touch haha.
We got the:
1) Pasta Portuguesa:
-It's a penne pasta with garlic, onion, bell peppers, olives, tomato, and Portuguese linguica sausage.
-It also came with a side of garlic toast and shredded cheese on top.
-This came with lots of cooked veggies and sauce.
-The sausage was alright, nothing special that would have been mind boggling to me, so I guess I don't have the palette to distinctively tell apart regular sausage and lingquica sausage.
-Overall this penne pasta isn't too different from a standard penne pasta that I could get elsewhere, it was filling though !
2) Bifana:
-It's a sandwich with marinated pork loin Portuguese style served on a pressed panini
-It comes with a side of pasta salad (with light seasoning and vinaigrette) and this wasn't too bad, great texture change when eating the sandwich
-Solid sandwich, the meet filling was decent and moist. It came with a dip as well.
Honestly, I would have been a bit more excited if the menu offered more unique European dishes. Aside from what we ordered and maybe 3-4 other things, everything else seemed like something you can get at a typical American diner or breakfast place or an Italian restaurant.
Thought this was more of a 3.5, but they checked up on us multiple times and we had a nice time all around.
