A First-Look at New San Diego Restaurant Callie’s California-Mediterranean Menu | Eater San Diego

"A homecoming for native San Diegan Travis Swikard, Callie is a California‑Mediterranean restaurant in East Village that aims to be a welcoming, relaxed neighborhood hangout and a destination for the stadium district; it opens Friday, June 4 and offers ample free parking. Swikard — who moved back to San Diego after a decade working with Daniel Boulud and in Michelin‑starred kitchens — spent months sourcing local resources (from Temecula olive oil to spices from El Cajon markets and preserved limes from his backyard) to build a menu that travels through Greece, Spain, Italy, Morocco, and the Middle East while applying fine‑dining technique to local ingredients. Dishes are designed to be shared (each table gets a communal tray of flatware), and foundational plates include blistered pita bread made in an 800‑degree oven with house‑milled kamut flour served with hummus topped with an herby, spicy zhoug and an Israeli‑style baba ghanoush brightened by roasted poblano; a kaiseki‑inspired Bigeye tuna with tomato water gelée seasoned with Fresno chile vinegar; charred Mediterranean octopus with a fennel salad of locally grown greens and garlicky skordalia; Burrata agnolini from a dedicated pasta station where pasta is hand‑made with the same Italian flour as Modena’s famed Osteria Francescana and finished with Temecula olive oil, lemon, summer squash, black pepper, and marjoram; Aleppo chicken sourced from a Pomona farm, marinated overnight and cooked over charcoal, glazed with coriander honey and served with sumac pickles; and a Meyer lemon dessert pairing lemon curd with honey‑whipped labneh, rose meringue, and candy floss made from sesame halva. Swikard says Callie is built for the San Diego community rather than national critics, and James Beard winner Gavin Kaysen has praised him as primed to help elevate the city’s dining scene." - Candice Woo

Google
Europa Village Wineries & Resort is a fantastic place to visit if you enjoy wine and beautiful surroundings. What makes it special is having three different wine tasting rooms to explore in one location. We visited the Vienza and Bolero tasting rooms, and both were excellent — great wines, welcoming atmosphere, and well-done experiences. Perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon or weekend outing. Definitely worth a visit.

Google
We recently visited Europa Winery in Temecula and absolutely loved it! The winery is stunning, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the wine tasting experience was fantastic. This time, we made it our first stop while showing my mom Temecula for the first time, and it was the perfect way to kick off the day—everyone enjoyed it immensely. Their wines are excellent, especially if you’ve never done a wine tasting before. We’ve been here before as our last stop, but now we know we’ll always make it our first stop when bringing friends or family. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Temecula!

Google
This review is solely on The Nutcracker Ballet VIP dinner and show hosted by Europa Village. First thing, the seating is first come first serve out doors in the middle of December so dress accordingly, it gets chilly. Seating is mostly flat so make sure to arrive an hour before to get good seating. If you arrive late, you will only see bobble heads and not the full ballet. “VIP Dinner” after the ballet is odd. I was expecting fine dining restaurant style but instead the set up is banquet style and you will end up sitting with random strangers at a round table. This should definitely be made aware of to guests. Dinner was just okay. My husband was one of the last to be served so that was kind of awkward having to wait for his food to arrive. Food was mediocre. Over all, I would not do this again.

Google
The grounds are beautiful and spacious. I believe it’s one of the newest wineries in the area! We enjoyed the live music, wine tasting, pizza, and gelato. It does get busy on weekends, but the multiple levels offer different experiences, which is a nice touch. We even bought a few bottles after tasting some great wines. I’d love to come back on a weekday when it’s a bit less crowded!

Google
Mark was the best server! Very nice & gave amazing suggestions. He even brought a sweet surprise out for my husbands birthday. We had the garlic shrimp, skirt stake with potatoes brava, and the organized Caesar. Everything 10/10.

Google
A quick shout out to the food and wine club! I first came across Europa wineries at the Palm Springs food and wine show. Both their food and wine represented extremely well. In the course of that event, we were introduced to the food (and wine clubs). The food club comes a a box of the non-perishable food ~ 4X per year. The boxes come with video instructions and are a fun way to expand your culinary repertoire! Alex (Webster) is a great representative for the company. Super knowledgeable and helpful (THANKS ALEX!!!) This is Alex - doing what he loves!!!

Hector O.

Google
Mark our server was amazing. Super friendly. Our new favorite winery. He took the time to explain the membership and made it an easy process for us to sign up. Can’t wait to be long time members of Europa

Google
I went to pick up my club order and have lunch. I hadn’t seen it so busy but thankfully there’s plenty of parking. I chose to park further away and walk the beautiful grounds. So many delicious food options and wine or beer. The staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Beautiful weather to enjoy wine and food outdoors.

Yelp
Discovered this awesome speakeasy pop up for Valentine's Day! Amazing drinks and vibe! New theme every month! Highly recommend!

Yelp
This winery is stunning!! You feel transported to Europe with three distinct wineries all in one location beginning with Bolero representing Spain, Vienza representing Italy, and C'est La Vie representing France. You can take a wine tour which includes a package. The architecture and design was classic and elegant. You can book a reservation to stay onsite. The property was spacious to hold an outdoor event with an adjacent ballroom for an indoor reception. The large holiday decorations were still up for display and made for many great photo ops. You can enjoy the center Xmas tree, crown chair and dummerboy, many arches, hot air balloon, and holiday accents all throughout! It's a great place to gather with your family and friends.

Yelp
Booked and paid online only to arrive and get told there was a glitch and if I wanted to stay I had to pay more This is unacceptable

Yelp
I had the most wonderful experience at Europa Village ! The staff truly made the visit unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Tami and Jeri, in particular, went above and beyond, sharing their extensive knowledge of the wines and the history of the vineyard with such enthusiasm. Every recommendation they made was spot-on, and they made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Their passion for wine and hospitality shone through in every interaction. If you're looking for exceptional service and a team that genuinely loves what they do, this is the place to be. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Europa village vibe and experience are 5/5. Loved being able to walk between the different wineries. The passport is a great deal. For $70, you get 14 tastings including 3 reserve wines. We shared one passport between two people and it was never an issue; we were always given two glasses each time. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the wines themselves. Most were overly sweet and artificial compared to other wineries in the state and abroad, the wines themselves were underwhelming.
google avatar

Yelp
We will definitely be back more often. The winter decor was beautiful! We did wine tasting. There's different places you can get wine in the property. Em and Noah were great and very knowledgeable. Derek was great as well! Loved chatting with him! The Bolero restaurant had amazing food. Wonderful service from everyone we were on contact with. Derek mentioned he also does the tours sometimes. It was fully booked, but they're offering a dining experience in igloos. We were told igloos will come back in February with a Valentine's theme. Reservations only. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We really came away impressed with this event and Europa last evening. The winery has introduced a series of events for its Temecula Valley community and for as little as sixty dollars each, you get a glass of wine and a lite meal. Nice. Really nice. Both the staff and the Executive Chef walked around introducing themselves, giving insights to both the food and wine. I've attached the menu below and some photos of the offerings. Given the grotto area we were in, we were introduced to new friends, listen to a wonderful violinist playing near our table and just relax, enjoying the nice SoCal evening. We'll be back. * MENU.... * Crostini with White Bean Purée Toasted baguette topped with a creamy white bean purée flavored with garlic, lemon juice, and fresh herbs * Grilled Artichoke Arancini Artichoke risotto rice, stuffed with mozzarella cheese, coated in breadcrumbs, and deep-fried to perfection and classic marinara sauce *Caprese Skewers Skewers featuring bite-sized mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, drizzled with balsamic glaze * Pecorino Cheese and Honey Aged Pecorino cheese and drizzled honey. The sharpness of the cheese pairs beautifully with the local honey. * Fried Zucchini Blossoms Zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta cheese and herbs, lightly battered and fried until golden brown

Yelp
Easily one of the best wineries in Temecula Valley with 3 unique experiences rolled into one! The Italian section (Vienza) is now open and it does not disappoint! This section of the winery has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Shaded area for the hot summer days and heaters for the cool winter nights. The inside of the tasting room is large and offers plenty of seating as well. We truly enjoy the hospitality and experience we get every time we stop by this winery. We find ourselves here at least 8 times every month! PROS: * the bathrooms here are so spacious and private. And have charmin toilet paper...enough said! * great service * variety of delicious wines * live music * sunset sips * restaurant onsite with full bar (Bolero), perfect for date night * Mercato located at Vienza for more casual dining (pizza, gelato and other Italian classics) * kid friendly CONS: * not really a con but can get busy (because it's that's great!), so plan accordingly * gravel/dirt parking lots

Yelp
This was our first stay at the resort casitas and from the moment we walked in the door Aaron at registration was so welcoming, he really took his time to ensure our stay was exceptional. Coming from the hospital management industry, it was refreshing to experience his hospitality and professionalism. We will be back!

Yelp
The winery & resort is pleasantly clean & tidy. The landscaping is mesmerizing and all the Christmas Holiday patio decorations are stunning and beautifully lit at night, makes for great photo props. and romantic walks. The food is delicious, today (Sunday) 12/15/24) Tea Party event. We walked to the other side and there was an outdoor BBQ stand with friendly staff. The wine was delightful and chilled. We enjoyed the one man artist who had us dancing & laughing all night. The bathrooms were sparkling clean, located all over the area (no lines). Parking on compacted dirt lot, and it's pebbled partially.

Yelp
This place has really stepped up their VIP experience. Great atmosphere great service and great wine. The Magellan Tempranillo 2016 is just amazing.

Yelp
We absolutely love the ambience and wine here at Europa. We sat outside on the patio enjoying the end of the holiday season. The igloos where looked fun, the trees were beautiful and the wine delicious.

Yelp
Europa Wnery truly is a village and resort with hotel accommodations. Each building specializes in a specific region: Spain, France, and an Italian Village. The décor, architecture, art on display throughout each building, and views are beautiful and stunning. There are multiple tasting areas, the general indoor tasting room and gift shop, and outdoor patio that had a guitarist performing on a Thursday. This was a nice touch for a weekday when others offered entertainment on the weekends only. Initially, we were served in the Members lounge that was equipped with tables for small or medium-sized groups, sofas and comfy side-chairs too. At 4PM, the entertainment began. Since we had already eaten, it was time for dessert. We shared a fancy freshly-baked churro dessert with a warm CHOCOLATE dipping sauce.. To compliment the chocolate, I had a glass of the Diosa Roja, which was smooth and not did not have a dry or bitter after-taste ($49 per bottle, non-member price). This was our last stop and we did not have enough time to take a tour or to visit each section. For approximately $99 you can have a guided tour with wine tastings ad 3 food pairings. I missed this deal and will have to return on another day. Their Wine Club has 4 tiers, with shipment every other month. Choose the two, three or four bottle Membership. Each tier offers discounts on food, wine, and accommodations. Now, this is different, they have a Europa Table Culinary Club. I do not have the details, but I am intrigued and will have to circle back on this. I'm seeing the benefits of joining one of their clubs for private events and discounts. Europa is known as a wedding venue that can accommodate 250+ guests, with a starting price of $10,000. If all services and ceremonies can be handled at one location, this price is worth checking out for more details. Looks like you will have to come and see this lovely winery for yourself! Please don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!

Yelp
Wow this winery is absolutely breathtaking!! Especially during Christmas time . One of the bartenders, Rebecca, was very sweet and helpful with our tastings. I liked that she wasn't overly pushy & yet easy to talk to! Their food was also reallyyyyy yummy! We we surprised at how good the pastas were. Would absolutely be back!

Yelp
I am pretty sure that when this place is filled with happy people must be a very gorgeous location. When I visited was super windy and on top of that the power went off, but I was able to enjoy my first visit freely and take a look at everything. Thanks to Aaron from guest services to provide a map of the premises and being so welcoming. I could see that they are trying to mimic a bit of Spain and Italy and blend it all in a package of hotel, wine tasting and shopping experiences. As I am from Spain I don't expect 'authenticity' and enjoy the decor as what it is. It is very pleasant and there were finally several people enjoying their wines at the Spanish flavored area. I loved the art and also they sell a box of Spanish products by subscription that looks so nicely curated. My only suggestion is to remove the replica of the Guernica. That painting represents Spanish civil war and it is very tragic, not matching with a joyful environment.
google avatar

Joyce L.

Yelp
Europa is always a good time! And to have 3 different tasting rooms in 1 location -- wow, super convenient! The vibes are immaculate. Did I get suckered into membership? Yes, yes I did... but i think it's pretty worth. Only wish I lived closer to Temecula (it's an hours trek from San Diego), to maximize on the membership. The 3 different tasting rooms feature wines from different parts of Europe (hence their name, Europa Village): Spain [Bolero], Italy [Vienza], and France [C'est la Vie]. You can split your wine tasting between the different rooms, which is a fun experience to check-out each. The last couple times I've been, there's been live music at C'est la Vie, always a plus in my book! And the stone fire pizza at Vienza is bomb! This place has it all for a winery spot! :)
google avatar

Darla R.

Yelp
If you go to Europa. Go to the French section and see Carrie. Amazing! Delightful personality.

Lupe B.

Yelp
The amenities were amazing, we stayed in your Casitas, the bed was very comfortable, and the ambiance was excellent. It was our mini honeymoon; we could not have selected a better place. We also enjoyed dinner at Bolero. Your meal prep is very simple but very good. Your staff was very attentive and responsive to our needs. They were warm and welcoming upon our arrival and made sure we were well taken care of. Thank you

Yelp
This is the second time we stayed in Cabernet Junior Suite at the Inn. Again it was a Five Star experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. This room is definitely our choice for future visits. The weather was perfect for enjoying the patio. This year the Vienza Winery was open. The Vienza is the newest addition to Europa Village. The winery tasting room is located on the hill above Bolero. There is an elevator for your convenience. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There are a number of tables around the gardens and the deli. The tasting room has many tables inside and a separate outdoor area for wine club members. The tasting room was busy on this Saturday; however the staff did a good job with customer service. We enjoyed the wines and joined the wine club. Wine club members enjoy discounts on wines and accommodations at the Resort/Inn.

Yelp
Europa Village is one of our absolute favorite spots in Temecula, and it's easy to see why. This winery offers so much more than just great wine--it's a whole experience. Their brunch is absolutely fantastic, but what really sets this place apart is the unique layout. Europa Village has several different areas to explore, each inspired by a different country. I could try to describe it all, but honestly, it's something you need to see for yourself. Whether you're here for a leisurely walk, wine tasting, meeting new people, or capturing the perfect photo for social media, Europa has it all. The weather and views make it the perfect place to just hang out and soak in the atmosphere. There are also a number of spots to grab food, each offering something a little different, which adds to the charm. It's a great place to relax, try different wines, and enjoy the beauty of the Temecula Valley. Highly recommend--Europa Village is a must-visit!
google avatar

Alejandra F.

Yelp
Very very nice place, the have 2 restaurants. One is a proper sit down restaurant very good food; we went for brunch, the good was very fresh and delicious, the juices were 100% natural, he only thing is that if you guys go to the restaurant on a weekend morning or noon they just serve brunch which is $60 per person. The other side of the winery is very pretty they have the other to go Italian still restaurant with a lot of space to enjoy with family and friends. They also have like 2-3 different bars with a lot of options to drink not just wine, definitely Europa Winery is now my favorite in Temecula.
google avatar

Lee S.

Yelp
While in California I decided to drive to the City of Temecula, (aka wine country). This was my first time visiting this particular winery and it definitely won't be my last. The winery offered three different regions of wines from Spain, France and Italy. I would recommend purchasing the passport package giving you (3) premium wines and (14) tasting all for $70.00. The wines varied in taste, body and ingredients, which, only heighten my overall experience. Without question, the atmosphere coupled with the wines made for a very enjoyable outing. Although, Temecula has a myriad of winery's to choose from, I'd definitely recommend giving this spot a try.
google avatar

Mya T.

Yelp
Beautiful winery in Temecula. Came here a couple of weeks ago to catch up with my best friend. We decided to do wine flights and got a mixture of reds and whites. The wine was decent and the staff were kind.
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
Wonderful stay at the Inn. It is an actual room in a house on the hill The rooms are peaceful and the beds are remarkably comfortable. Every single staff member we met made us feel like family and everyone remembered that it was my husband's birthday. We also took the Winery tour which was very informative. Our guide Derek was clearly passionate about his job and was knowledgeable, friendly and quite honestly I think he is also a magician! His pairings were nothing short of magical and taught me things I never knew. I highly recommend Europa Village for a visit, stay or tour. You cannot go wrong here!
google avatar

Brenda P.

Yelp
Excellent service, exceptional food and great ambience in the Italian restaurant. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

Laurisa R.

Yelp
The service here has gone downhill. It took 50 minutes to get my pizza. Missed my last stop for wine tasting waiting on the pizza. Wish they had just been upfront and told me how long it was REALLY going to take and I would've ordered something else. My husband ordered the gnocchi. No flavor. Bland. He took two bites and had to throw it away. Mind you, the food here is extremely expensive. I added pepperoni and sausage to my pizza and it was $6 PER topping. I most definitely did NOT get $12 worth of toppings on my pizza (added photo, you can be the judge). Skip this place for food. There are plenty of other wineries with better service and food at a better price point.

Clarisse C.

Yelp
If you're looking for a winery that offers more than just great wine, this spot is a must-visit. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The grounds are absolutely stunning. If you're visiting during the holidays, you're in for a treat--they go all out on Christmas decor, transforming the space into a festive wonderland. Speaking of wine - the selection was fantastic. The staff was knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations based on our preferences. We also enjoyed the food and live music. As locals, we can confidently say this winery is a absolutely worth visiting.

Yelp
2 hour drive from la Went on 06/26/2024 2pm Super hot as expected but middle of the week middle of the day is a whole vibe! Super quiet , peaceful and not a lot of people or crowds , they did have a dinner rehearsal at 5pm but even then it segregated and didn't impact the atmosphere of the winery Very kid friendly , plenty of clean bathrooms that not only smelled good but had hand lotion ‍ Staff was polite , and friendly The 30$ per perosn wine tasting with Elijah is the way to go , highly professional, and knowledgeable with great energy and super chill vibes My recommendation? Don't eat at the restaurant, it is good but it's a better idea to go to the martlet across that has the terrace , get your wine trashing card and drink and eat while walking along and having the time with your company We ended up doing that also but hey why not do both
google avatar

Paige M.

Yelp
Europa is my all time favorite winery! Every time friends come to town this is where we take them. I love that the Bolero tasting room is open late. The wine is always amazing and the staff is great. During the holidays the market and items in the store are so cute. I requested a wedding package here since I am starting to plan but didn't hear back from them though :/ I'll still always come back with friends and family.
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Of the three wineries that I visited during my first adventure into Temecula wine country, Europa was, by far, my favorite. It doubles as a hotel resort, and is split into three tasting rooms: French, Italian, and Spanish. I ended up at Vienza, where I had a glass of wine for $16. I enjoyed being in the taproom and wandering about the resort. There were plenty of people for a Saturday afternoon, including families with children. I can't wait to return and experience more, including the two restaurants (Spanish and Italian).
google avatar

Jen H.

Yelp
Such a fantastic spot! We loved the different areas by country but enjoyed the Bolero aka Spain area the best! It has an indoor and outdoor area with VIP rooms for members. We were there on a Saturday early and found great parking and it was slower but it didn't stay that way long. I believe it was member pick up day, so it was super busy late afternoon with visitors and members. We did the wine passport and enjoyed most wines we tried. If you do get the passport stick with 5 or 7, so you can visit other wineries. They offer wines from Spain, Italy and France with some of their own. We really liked their sangria on the very hot day. In italy we went to the market and had a fantastic pizza and cappuccinos. France was cute with a nce garden but it's their oldest and it was too hot. They have a hotel on site, with ballroom and outdoor seating for weddings. We'll be back!

Angel A.

Yelp
Great holiday spot enjoyed it greatly hate having to write 85 characters to post a review
google avatar

Yelp
I'm only writing this review because I love this place and I want them to improve. I will preface with, I have only had amazing food until today. We tried the bbq food today. It's out on the garden area. I ordered the ribs and my wife got the pasta. The pasta was good, the bread that came with the pasta was not, it was stale. The ribs were not good. They were dry and tasted like they were cooked this morning and had been in the warmer since. I know it's not easy to mass cook ribs but here's a little tip, I used to cater, if you par cook them in the oven then finish on the grill you get a better product.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
This is a must when in Temecula. They feature 3 different countries. The wine at all three were great. They offer great flight options. The gelato at France is so good I got the raspberry. It is very packed on the weekends but the service was still pretty fast and friendly. There is plenty of outside seating areas and some inside areas as well. You truly feel like you're in a different country when you're walking around.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at The Inn for three days for our anniversary and prior to check in we had a few hours to kill so decided a tasting was the best way to kick off our anniversary trip. We purchased the 12 tastings for $60 a person but they were able to be used between the three different rooms they had on property. Bolero, Vienza, and C'EST LA VIE. We started the tastings in bolero and loved some of the reds especially the Cabernet. Next on the list was c'est la vie. This room was our favorite. Not only because of the wines but because of the staff they were so fun and friendly. They have great recommendations and just over all made us have an amazing time. Even my husband who isn't a big wine fan. Jake and Maddy were fantastic. We went to Vienza and tried a few different. My favorite there was definitely the rosé. We still had a few tastings left and ended up going back to C'EST LA VIE, service alone was worth hanging out and trying some of the wines we had previously tried. I love the "vibes" of all the different rooms and how each represented their different countries. I would love to come back sometime in the near future.

Yvette Q.

Yelp
What a fun Saturday at Europa Village. The brunch buffet at Bolero was delicious! We had such a great time in the Bolero tasting room as well. Our gal Carrie was amazing providing great service and wine knowledge/suggestions! Signed up for the membership and will for sure be back soon.
google avatar

Felix A.

Yelp
Visited this place on a date night. Loved the renovations that have been made since we first came years ago. Visited all three locations (Spain, Italy and France) to do some tastings. We didn't eat but drank and took lots of pic. They had it set up nicely for holidays. Will definitely come back for dinner soon.
google avatar

Corie D.

Yelp
This place is great! It's a grouping of 3 wineries - one Spanish, French and Italian. You can get tasting cards and walk around to taste some at each. I really liked the Pinot noir at the French winery. Additionally, I've had dinner at the Spanish winery which was delicious, and lunch at the Italian deli which was also great! I really enjoyed the chicken Parmesan sandwich at the deli and the paella at the Spanish restaurant.
google avatar

Denise B.

Yelp
Casitas are wonderful accommodations. Romantic, beautiful, modern, clean Bolero Spanish Restaurant is fabulous for breakfast and lunch. Food quality, taste and presentation & price are really really good!!!!! Honestly some of the best food we have had in the world!! Service could be improved, but they are all new. I Think it will improve! I love this place and it has my highest recommendations! 10 stars out of 5 across the board! FYI.... their sangria.... unbelievable. French winery & market awesome. Italian market awesome! Bolero spanish winery, restaurant & accommodations, FANTASTIC!

Had a great time here last weekend with my girlfriends. We visited the Spanish side, and Preston was our wine connoisseur. Amazing service and knowledge as all of us like something different. My favorite was the sparkling Rose. It was hot, but they had a very large shaded area with mors. Making it comfortable. Would definitely go back!

Yelp
We are members here and absolutely love this winery. Our favorite low key spot is the Spain winery. The member reserve rooms are top notch with excellent service. Everyone is very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly which what keeps bringing us back as members. We love their wine thanks to Gregg, may he rest in peace. As a member you can either pick up your wine or have it shipped. Just know that if you live in an area where temperatures reach 90 degrees or above during the summer, you will need to pick up your wine directly. Your wine will be ruined so the wineries won't ship it to you during the summer. I can say I definitely appreciate this especially for the money that is being paid for the membership. Plus, who doesn't want an excuse to go to Temecula during the summer. This winery is very large as it has the countries of Spain, Italy and France. The Italy winery is always the busiest since there is a market to buy any cheese, meats, olive oil, or any meal. The France winery is a bit small; however, we were told it will eventually expand once the France Village resort is expanded upon.

Yelp
Definitely one of the nicest wineries in Temecula. It is very busy here, so if you don't mind that, then you will likely enjoy this winery. On the day we visited we tried the standard flight, which I believe was about $30. We thought the wine was good, but we have definitely had better wine at other wineries. Perhaps it was the particular selection we chose. We went on a weekend afternoon so it was very busy. The tasting room was very crowded, but we were able to find a table to sit at and enjoy our wine. There were many families with children on that day as well. The customer service was good, however, we felt it was a bit impersonal. The whole experience, while very professional, seemed a little too corporate for us. We have friends that are wine club members here, and they love it, but we prefer other wineries in town that have a more intimate feel.

Yelp
A lil piece of Europe in Temecula! Hehe great spot for a lil wind me down and get together celebration. Huge property with 3 different wineries in one. They have bolero restaurant which is Spanish style but need reservations on weekends. Check out their events page for daily features for some sunset and sips or even salsa nights

Yelp
It's my second time coming here and I've enjoyed it both times. The winery has different areas to drink wine and purchase food. Customer service was excellent especially Derek as he was very helpful and informative with the different types of wine that they offered. Highly recommend checking out this winery whenever you're in Temecula.

Yelp
I never come to Temecula without visiting Europa, it is my home away from home. Each "city" is unique in its own way and beautifully landscaped. Italy is by far the favorite with the garden, patio, and market place. The deli serves delicious food for good prices and the restaurant in Spain is a wonderful addition. Everyone is kind and attentive.

Yelp
Fell in love with the property, so beautiful. We decided to stay in their casitas, the most comfortable bed ever! The winery does get busy during the day but when evening comes it is empty and quiet. The casitas came with breakfast you get to choose in their breakfast menu . My husband had the fry chicken and waffles it had orange flavor -it was sooo delicious! I had the pancakes also very good. I would love to come again during the holidays. Try one of their Spritzer's , sooooo yummy!

Yelp
What a great place to enjoy wine, eat wonderful food and have your kids run around! Families and singles should definitely come here. It's a one-stop shop. The services from the restaurant and the shops were all friendly and happy to help. I swear the were all smiles and eager to please. The ambiance felt like you were in Tuscany; authentic, wide open and beautiful views. I can't wait to bring my family back here.

Yelp
We spent a weekend away in Temecula with no kids and had the best time at Europa Village Winery. So great, that we returned the next day. Located in a lovely Temecula wine country, and situated on a beautiful vineyard, Europa offers a taste of Europe in our own own backyard of California! Boasting 3 great "Countries" to visit with dedicated wines and tasting bars: Spain, Italy and France, plenty of picnic areas in all locations, and also very friendly sommeliers, we absolutely adored our visit! Shout out to Rebecca in Italy, who we signed up for our membership with. We are so excited to return for more tastings, events and of course delicious meals in the near future.
