This location is a street over from the worlds most popular tourist destination! If not the most visited it’s on the list! I’m talking about #timesquare ! Ever fell in love with a bakeries SCENT? 🙃 This bakery may do JUST that! Stop in whenever in the neighborhood you won’t be disappointed!

The staff was incredibly rude. We practically had to beg them to use the restroom, even though we were customers. The restroom was filthy with a strong smell of urine. We sat down and had to move our things because they were mopping the floors. Then they continued cleaning right next to us, and it smelled strongly of bleach! It's impossible to eat with that bleach smell. Disgusting. The food, though, was good!

Been looking for a decent 24h cafe in the city and Europan so far have been a great find. I love their Caesar Salad although it was not my initial order and tried from my friend. They had decent cold coffee nothing fancy. I ordered nutella strawberry crepe which was good. However they should add more nutella to it. Overall decent.

I would say this is far by the worst cafe i have been to. The picture of the cupcake attached is hard as a rock and the frosting tastes like a cheap one. The coffee I took was not tasty either and their customer service was down bad. I asked the employee about the coffee sizes. He shouted at me “WE DONT SELL THAT SIZE FOR THIS COFFEE” like bro calm down I only asked you. He was extremely rude to me and my girlfriend.

We stopped in to have breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming & helped us decide what to get. The portions were huge & filling. You can tell the food is fresh & has great quality!

Bumped into this place after seeing a play and searching for the subway. Just got a cheesecake but the crepes the guy was making looked amazing!

This is a gem of a spot in Times Square 24 hours and welcoming even after a night a the theatre. The breakfast was the best we had over our trip and we tried several places. Coffee and people watching on the busy street in the quiet spot to music. Drinking a latte with a pastry such a great way to end a trip to NYC.

Wanted to find a warm place to sit before a show. Cannoli was delicious but when I went to throw away the plate, a nasty worker berated me for not seeing the trash can BEHIND the counter. And how could I have missed the one shoved in a corner. I thought he was joking, but he treated me not like a customer, but a wayward child. (Hard to do to a 60 year old lady!) Next time I’ll feel free to traipse around behind the bar.. thanks.

Right in Times Square, while looking for a breakfast spot, we came across Europan Cafe. With its lit up exterior, reminiscent of Broadway, it called us inside. The space is small, you order at the counter, pay, then they bring it to you. Their menu is large, offering Açaí bowls, waffles, bagels, sandwiches, omelets. All of this sounds pretty American to me. I got a Berries & Creme Crape and a latte. Why was this small latte $7.00? The others got sandwiches and a very overpriced mocha and juice! Now, I understand this is Times Square, it's a huge tourist trap, but our drinks and food arrived on paper plates and in paper cups. This is typically a turn off for me, but over $70 for breakfast for three, where they could easily make a small effort to present their product to make it worthy of the cost. My crape was ok. I'll be honest, I expected the creme to be cream cheese, but it was very sweet, the strawberries and blueberries were fresh. The coffees were pretty good. When we sat down, there were other people's cups on our table, we had to call the gentleman clearing tables to clear ours. He never wiped down the table. It is obvious they don't prioritize service at Europan Cafe.

Quick fresh and hot. I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a fresh OJ. No wait walked in pretty busy. Quick service set up. Order at the register and they deliver it to your table. Sandwich was hot and fresh. OJ was fresh squeezed.

After an early afternoon matinee theatre performance nearby, I stopped in for a late-lunch. I think this bakery does croissants well. Flaky and buttery. I opted for the Ham and Cheese Croissant and it was what I was seeking. For a small dessert, I chose the Chocolate Rugala. Very pleased that this buttery item was packed with chocolate and studded with chocolate chips. There is no table service. You order at the counter and seat yourself. It is Times Square so the ambience can vary with the clientele. Generally quite civilized on the occasions I have visited.

Walk by here everyday and decided to give it a shot. Crowded, high tourist area but we got a table for 2. Average pricing for neighborhood. Got the pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon. Great sized pancakes. Friendly staff, quick service. Coffee just regular diner coffee but good.

I would never pay $7 for a piece of cheesecake served in a plastic container but luckily my husband would. This was one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had and I am originally from New York State. It was dense and creamy. The strawberry glaze was just the right amount.

It is nice to have a 24 hour place nearby to satisfy a middle-of-the-night craving. Europan Cafe is located a couple blocks from Times Square. They offer simple counter service and have a nice selection of breakfast items, sandwiches, pastries, crepes, desserts, coffee drinks and smoothies. All products are made in-house daily. The dessert section looks amazing. There are so many items to choose from. I dozed off and woke up in the middle of the night and was craving my favorite dessert - cheesecake. And New York City is the place to order one. I found Europan Cafe after a quick search and saw that they were close to my hotel and open 24/7. I ordered a cheesecake with some coffee and slept well the rest of the night. There were a few sketchy folks hanging around late hours. But the manager chased them out and was still able to deliver good service.

Stopped in after a long day of exploring the city. Ordered a black forest cake and a black/white cookie. The cookie was pretty dry and tasted like it's beet sitting out for a while. The black forest was very moist, I liked it but my wife wasn't a fan.

This was our go to for a cup of coffee and pastry. People were nice, pastries were good. Think fast food pastry stop to fill the gap.

Services are so and so but if you're looking for places to relax this place is 24/7. They also have a bathroom. I saw variety of cakes. It's right around corner from port authority station before your trip, how late it is...this is the place to be :) at least.

Pricey, but it's Times Square so what can you expect? I've eaten here once before and the food is so good! I had the tomato, pesto, mozzarella, and spinach savory crepe and it was so delicious! The portion size was great and it definitely left me full. Great eat before a Broadway show!

"They all can't be winners, son!" (Memories of my dad). This rather cool looking cafe never stood a chance to score big with us. We walk in and my cousin Lou asks about vegan options and something gluten related. Seemingly understandable questions. That's when the guy behind the counter explodes. I don't mean starts to get loud, he goes berserk. Yelling and ranting about quality and his reputation (paraphrasing). It was like she insulted his family. I have never seen anything like it. It literally got so stupid that not only did the four of us walk out, the couple behind us followed. As I've said numerous times, I understand the NY savvy and the unique vernacular of the different boroughs. This man was just plain mean. I honestly don't know how he keeps the doors open? 01/24

If you're in the city and looking for a very late night snack, this is your place. They have sandwiches, cookies, bakery goodies, bagels, juice bar. It's a great place. Their cheesecake is creamy, and rich. My son had their napoleon and hubby had the chocolate croissant and both said it was delicious.

Stopped in to grab a black & white cookie on my way uptown since I hadn't had one in a while. The cookie was large, BUT it was stale. Waste of $5. Not worth going there at all.

Had a great lunch here. Sandwiches were proper sized. Just enough to fill you up. Service was fast. Food was tasty. We were easily able to find seating mid afternoon.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I definitely would. The workers were so rude to our family who was visiting NY. A family member needed to use the bathroom so we asked the worker (I think he was Hispanic) and he said to ask the guy at the cashier (I think he was Indian). The cashier guy said we had to buy something first so we bought 1 bakery item. He made a remark saying only 1 bakery item for the two of you? I said it's only for that 1 family member that needed to use the restroom. He also said only 1 can use the bathroom and we said yeah we know. So that family member tried using the bathroom but the code was not working and we kept asking the Indian guy who was the cashier and he was just so rude saying I gave you the code and it should work. Eventually, a black worker came to help and unlocked the door which the code did not work and he had to physically open it with his key. This was the worst experience and will probably never go back to NY ever again. The cheese danish tasted stale and old so it was not even a good bakery/cafe place.

Once more I was at Europan to visit and have a cool drink. Lots of people near Times Square and a great place to eat or drink and hangout.

Fast service. Staff attentive to take orders and serve meals. We got peach tart. Quite sweet and crumbly. We also got a spinach and feta omlette was about a little over cooked but still tasty. Potatoes were seasoned well and bread buttered.

This is a great little spot that's been here forever right in the heart of Times Square! You can stop in for a quick, tasty bite, or take it to go but all the items are high quality, and real food!! The bakery will bedazzle you!! I have only been lured I. Because they have some old school favorites, like Pear Tarts, Strawberry Shortcake, and Cherry Cheesecake to name a few! The prices are standard for this area: $8.25. With every bite!!

Came here one morning with my family because we stayed at a near by hotel. We got in line and proceeded to order or food. While ordering we told the cashier that the food was to go as we were pressed on time. The cashier didn't even remember us and asked us a second time what we would like to order. We told her we just placed an order with you ma'am. She brought out our food but proceeds to walk past us looking to serve supposedly "the folks"...US who ordered the food, but to no avail did she find. So then she finally asked what did you order. We told her and then she boxes it up. But all this waiting took about 25 - 30 minutes. It was horrible, as for the ambiance of this place it seems to be your average little cafe nothing screaming out special. They have a salad bar, sandwiches made ready for them to press hot and ready, and a dessert/pastry counter. Food was ok, it wasn't bad, but yet it wasn't good a bit bland just your average type cafe food. Service needs to be changed in order for me to come back.

Got the Oreo cookie and it was dry and pretty tasteless. I should have checked Yelp first and seen the low reviews, but wanted a quick snack. Thankfully they have a bathroom here I got to us. Overall I'd stay away from here if you are craving good cookies.

This place was right around the corner from where I am staying. They are open 24 hours. This morning I went in for breakfast. I ordered a toasted sesame bagel with bacon, egg and cheese and a medium latte with stevia. The bagel sandwich is delicious. My latte is perfectly sweetened. The staff was friendly and efficient. One employee was actively cleaning the dining area keeping things tidy.

HORRIBLE SERVICE and racist/rude staff! If I could give it 0 stars I would. Food was mid, the place wasn't tidy or clean. There was an Indian cashier who was really rude: he judged us for not ordering enough per person when my party only wanted to share a light snack not buy one each per person. Plus the danish we bought wasn't that great so why would I waste my money on overpriced bakery?? They also gave us a hard time just to use the bathroom there. We ordered food but he was rude about giving the bathroom code then the code didn't even work in the end. I had to tell him like 10 times the code isn't working and he either didn't understand but yelled at me saying that's the code and did nothing. Luckily another coworker was able to open the bathroom with a key but the bathroom was really gross and a mess so we didn't end up us in it. NYC is already know to be a shithole and this lack of customer service just adds to the stereotype!

I loved the food in this well-lit and beautiful little cafe! My spouse and I each ordered breakfast sandwiches, coffee and pastries. We ate there and we were served promptly and the staff were very nice. Highly recommend dining here. We went twice during our vacation.

Coffee was good when we stopped in this morning to start our day. The place is quite busy and some of that may be due to the double decker bus that starts its journey directly in front of the restaurant. Tourists, fuggetaboutit. We decided to sit at the table out front and thankfully, no one was smoking. The coffee was nice and hot but we couldn't take it to go because their stupid lids don't fit the cups properly and they leak. A lot. [Review 15642 overall - 239 in New York - 1146 of 2021.]

Really wanted a yummy moist delicious cupcake so we ordered 2 and took them back to the hotel. Unfortunately they were not moist at all

Fantastic rugalah and veggie burgers. They are the kind of veggie burgers I prefer, the kind that are made from vegetables and and nuts and seeds, and that don't try to mimic meat. They're also huge. The bathroom could be cleaner.

Great place to eat. Great service and nice vibe. Would highly recommend in Your in New York Times Square area.

Do NOT do online ordering. We ordered, never got an email & the cafe "didn't have record" of the order. However, the money still came out of my bank account & no solution was offered. Left without anything because we didn't screenshot the order....

We have been here twice, BOTH TIMES we paid for items we did not receive. Today was the last straw, we ordered 5 baked goods to go, paid for them all and only got 4/5 of them. This is the SECOND TIME this happened. The food is good enough but the sneaking and deception is NOT OKAY!

We purchased several bakery items and 2 slices of strawberry cake. The cake was spoiled rotten and the bakery items were stale and old. This was the worst food experience we had in NYC.

It was 11pm on a Saturday and with a flight the next day, I was looking to get a lunch ahead of time. I am vegan and many of the restaurants that had vegan options had closed, but I saw this place was open 24/7 and had signs that said "healthy" options and serving "beyond meat." Turns out for vegan options, they just have a beyond burger, a small veggie wrap, and penne primavera (with pure almond milk, olive oil, and lemon juice as the sauce). You could build your own salad or get an açaí bowl but I was looking for something with more calories and substance. I've had beyond burgers many times and the veggie wrap didn't look fresh in the display, so I decided to give the pasta a try ($16 with tax). The staff member (who was very friendly) had clearly not made it recently and looked back and forth at the menu to get all the ingredients. I was puzzled about the almond milk because I saw they got out Silk unsweetened milk and was worried they would just pour it right in to the pasta (sounds gross). It was what they were going to do, so I asked them to leave it out. It tastes alright with the olive oil and lemon juice, but I've most definitely had better pasta. It tasted like lemon / red pepper pasta and the amount of vegetables was scant. At least it served its purpose as lunch, and I didn't have to go through the nightmare of hunting for vegan food at the airport.

Went into this cafe and ordered a breakfast wrap (bacon egg and cheese) $8 ,it was pretty good ! Made to order. The cashier was nice and brought the food over to us at the table. The cafe is small and a little pricey . Also ordered orange juice for $4.

We wanted a quick bite before meeting some friends around the corner, and came upon the Europan Cafe. We scored a small table in this busy cafe and I ordered a Grilled Vegetable Wrap, a pre-made choice to save time. They also have plenty of cook to order items available including Crepes. The sandwich was pretty good considering it was ready to eat. Later in the day, we picked up some pastries for our guests on the way back to our hotel, and everyone loved them, including two the favorites, the Oreo Cookie Cake and the Rum Cake. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to dine here, nor would I avoid this establishment. It deserves three-stars on this visit, as it is a fairly loud and austere environment, with a single restroom that could use some TLC.

The variety of food is great. The smoothies were made with real fruit and not with pre-made mixes. The crepes were excellent made in front of us. It does take a minute but if appreciate quality over speed this is your spot. I was with a big group and shared many items. The bakery had a huge selection of desserts. The general price felt fare to me for the quality of food I received. Would go again.

It was a good cafe for some late night sweets. Just a couple blocks from our hotel in time square. Did not have the food but dessert was not bad.

Helluva dessert! Super professional service! Beautiful and welcoming inside! So many lights and so many flavors of cheesecake and cake and coffee and etc!

We ended up here after making the mistake of saying "we'll just find somewhere near the theater to grab dinner" and not finding many options. I had a grilled chicken haloumi sandwich and it really wasn't very good. People kept coming in and asking us for money, so that was distracting as well. Might be okay depending what you order.

I was pleasantly surprised here - the food was better than I was expecting for a little sandwich and quickie place right near Times Square and Broadway. I got a crepe, which was hot and fresh and filled with quite a lot of the ingredients listed on the menu. They've also got at least ten sandwiches ready to go, plus drinks and chips and a very large bakery case. If we'd had more time before our show, I would have been glad to sample some desserts, but I was actually pretty full from my crepe anyway. Solid place here.

Not a great dessert place, all of the other places near Times Square were packed. When we saw nobody in line we knew what we were getting into and no surprises. Decent desserts but nothing that should be considered European or fresh or delectable. Probably won't ever come back but it was worth trying out.

I order croissant with ham coke coffee and elephant . The price is not bad and the food was good.

We stopped in for pastries after 1am. The servers were not overly friendly, but that's not the big issue for us. We got a coconut tart and a berry flan and they both had no flavor to them. It was like they had run out of vanilla and every other seasoning. We had gone to Carlos a couple nights prior and I would highly recommend walking a couple blocks to it if it is before they close at 1am.

Rip off, 1.50 for each vegetable, expect to sell a kidney to buy a salad. Rude manager and employees. Never step my foot in this place

The workers are ass holes. No Hospitality at all. How could they take orders and when you come pick it up they say the person who took the order left.

Stopped in for coffee & a bagel. Service was quick and friendly. They had an awesome selection of pastries and other breakfast options. Everything looked and smelled amazing.

Best almond croissant I've ever had in my life. Bagel was chewy and delightful. Great drip coffee. Yummy assortment of little cookies. I loved this place. It's a delightful bakery and I wish I'd had time to sample more delights while in town.
