Very poor experience at the Dutch security scanner on Saturday 10 January. I was instructed to remove my jacket earlier than others in the same queue, despite having my hands full and a laptop in my bag. This forced me to place my bag on the floor in a crowded area.
When I questioned this, the staff member became confrontational, refused to give his name, and told me I would not be allowed to board unless I apologised. The manager, Angelica, was dismissive and spoke about the situation in Dutch in front of me, assuming I would not understand.
As a direct result of these instructions, another passenger kicked my bag and my laptop was damaged. Inconsistent treatment, poor management, and unacceptable handling overall.
