EVA Airways Corp., New York Office

Visited the EVA Air New York Office recently for some ticketing questions and a flight change, and it was an outstanding experience — full 5 stars! The office is conveniently located in Midtown (easy access via subways near Times Square/Bryant Park), and I was greeted warmly right away. The staff were incredibly professional, patient, and knowledgeable — they took the time to explain options clearly, handled my request efficiently without any hassle, and even offered helpful tips for my upcoming trip to Asia. Everything was resolved quickly and smoothly, with a friendly attitude throughout. No long waits, no attitude — just genuine great service that made the whole process enjoyable.

We took this airline to and from Taiwan from NYC and flew in coach. The staff was great, the food was so so. The checkin staff at JFK were not familiar with “ special needs” and should be retrained

Many (negative) reviewers are actually not about the specific office. I visited the office to provide the identity of payment as I paid a Eva Air flight ticket with my credit card for someone else. The visit was quick and efficient. The office was conveniently located in mid town near Times Square. The lady who helped me fill the form was courteous and even volunteered to look up some information about the ticket from the system for me, saving me from perusing flight ticket emails. For those who cannot reach the office by phone, visiting the office to get help is quite pleasant if you are around. Few tips for future visitors: * The entrance of the office is on Broadway. Look for the sign with the address "1450 Broadway" * Check in the front desk with your ID for "Eva Air on the 31st floor" * There's no bell and no receptionist, but knocking on the glass door someone will answer.

This is a review of our experience with EVA Air's NYC office at 1450 Broadway, located on Times Square. Coming from NJ, it was a short walk from our bus stop at the Port Authority terminal. We had no choice but to visit the office as their customer service phone is obviously not being attended to. We were attended to by a very helpful staff (Ginger) who was able to resolve our issue of expiring miles in our account that we wanted to use for an upgrade on an upcoming flight. In hindsight, our issue was probably something that could not have been resolved over the phone. Many thanks again for your help.

I need to cancel and refund ticket. They promised to do this in one week, but almist a month passed and nothig was refunded. AVOID! Update: finally done refunded

Sorry I booked with EVA Air. They never answer the phone to get any information about flights or bus service to the airport. We should have booked with a better Airline than EVA AIR. When you call you are run thru the menus and end up with the same WE ARE BUSY CALL BACK LATER and a hangup. I have called for a month all hours and no one ever answers the phone calls. No call back option just try again later. I bet they don't even read this post reviews. Pick another airline that actually has a real staff answering phones. No chat either waste of time this is our last time using EVA AIR. Flown 2 other times before and same thing. What happens if Tiawan is invaded by CHINA are they going to land somewhere else? Not a word from them. Can't get information on the bus service to JFK from NJ either. Probably have to drive to the location and meet a driver to get the phone number.

I wasn’t able to get through via telephone, so I decided to stop by this Eva Air office in NYC instead. I was immediately helped by Connie, who provided friendly and helpful customer service and answered all my questions. If you are able to visit in person, you definitely should.

Recently traveled to Vietnam with a connectiing flight in Taiwan. The plane was late and needed to seriously hustle to make connecting flight. I knew my luggage (2 large checked bags) would not make it! That I understand! HOWEVER, EVA airlines took 3.5 days to get my luggage to Ho Chi Minh airport!!! To add insult to injury I had to taxi my self to airport to pickup luggage!! Otherwise, the luggage would take ANOTHER day to be delivered to hotel!!! I hope anyone reading this will realize EVA airlines treats their customers like livestock (no care except at time of sale)!!! Finally, zero customer support and NOTHING offered in compensation!!!! Never fly with this airline.
