This past Saturday was a truly gorgeous day- so my husband & I decided to visit the beautiful EV&M vineyard with our little Morkie, -Lucy. They are super dog friendly!
Our nightmare began when she wiggled out of her harness and ran off into the rows of grapes! Many guests & all the staff chimed in to help in the search, but she was nowhere to be found. As darkness set in and the vineyard was closing, Kristen
(the manager) made sure to take all our information. Lucy’s only identification was a chip as her tags were on the harness.
We returned home, but -of course- shortly after I was back, walking through the darkness searching till sunrise. Knocked on a few doors. The last person I met told me to say a prayer to Saint Anthony and I did say that prayer. At 10:30AM, I got a call from Kristen, saying “We got her”!
As we were pulling up to the vineyard, “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” randomly started playing on the radio station, I kid you not.
Kristen told us that one of the servers, AJ, had gone out front & caught little Lucy’s eyes under a bush on a pile of leaves. She was all muddy, scared & very close to where we were parked the day before.
I truly believe in Karma, and all the good energy in this area came together to save this tiny dog from mishap or dangerous predators.
The warmth & caring from the entire staff was so touching!
Thankyou a million times!
Btw - did I mention the wine? - LOL
The best Ros’e this side of France!
Love the Classic Pinot Grig & the Sauvignon as well 😍
