"Fort Lauderdale is an incredibly casual city. We like that about it—but this also means there aren’t a ton of special occasion restaurants worth dressing up for. Evelyn’s is a wonderful exception. This Eastern Mediterranean restaurant is located on the roof of the Four Seasons Hotel on A1A and has a great ocean view—both from the indoor and outdoor seating. That view is worth coming alone, but Evelyn’s also has really good cocktails and one of the best menus of any upscale spot in Fort Lauderdale. Great experience! Evelyn is very friendly and professional. I arrived about 5/10min late to my apt and that was ok (Latinas we be running late), Evelyn attended me soon after arriving. Loved my haircut! Will come back again.

Worst service ever! My niece went in for a color, no cut! The color is far from what she asked for and she asked them not to cut her hair. They decided to go against her and cut her hair anyway and they butchered it. My niece being nice paid anyway but went home in tears. We went back to the salon asking for a refund but they refused because the hair looked good to them. At the end of the day it’s not about them, it’s about their customers! No one should leave the salon in tears!

HORRIBLE service. They do not value your time. If you make an appointment Evelyn will either no show or show up hours late. This salon is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and I recommend to look elsewhere if you are even considering this salon. Also, the “assistant” guy who works there in an unprofessional jerk who will laugh in your face. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Please don’t waste your time here, you will regret and your hair will look awful.

Highly recommend this Hair Studio and appreciate having an appointment that was meet on time. This was my first haircut since moving to Aurora and my stylist, did a fantastic job. Found their rates to be very reasonable and looking forward to having all my haircuts done here.

Oh my gosh! A lady chopped up my bangs terribly! I didn't pay for the hair cut. Evelyn offered to fix them in 3 wks. Meanwhile I look weird!

Overall: never going back. This first time was great and I felt amazing! The second time another lady coughed all over me and wouldn't do what I asked for - I got sick and had to miss work AND I found out she over-charged me by $40!! The next time my hair got completely fried! I never saw it so stringy when I used to do it myself with drug store materials. Don't waste your time, money, or health. These ladies are not professional and secretly hate you.

First off please don’t get me wrong. Evelyn is very good at what she does, however, she is extremely unprofessional. You make an appointment with her and there’s a chance she will either not show up or make you wait 2 hours past your appointment time before she even seats you. My sister in law lives an hour and a half away now, she made an appointment with her, showed at her appointment time, only for Evelyn to have taken the day off with no care in the world. Want a discount for the horrible service you’ll receive here? Too bad. Don’t even waste your time. There’s way better salons out there who are actually professional and will meet your needs.
