"A surprise drop in hospitality? Sure, why not. Chef Omar Flores has apparently been grinding up near Addison to open this spot with seafood, steaks, and pasta — or, as we like to call it, a neighborhood bistro. Head in for a plate of Texas redfish that is lightly blackened and served with andouille sausage and basmati rice." - Courtney E. Smith

"Looking for house-made pasta, Allen Brothers steaks, and fresh seafood? James Beard recognized chef Omar Flores kinda surprised DFW by announcing he was opening Even Coast in Addison on the day the doors flung open, but it’s nothing but a boon for us to have his work back in a kitchen here. It is open for lunch and dinner." - Courtney E. Smith

A gem with an intimate ambiance. Perfect for dates or small groups. Upscale seafood place - fresh ingredients, lovely presentation, excellent craft cocktails. Everything we ordered from raw tuna tartare to grilled octopus and scallops were on point. The cornmeal appetizer was mid. The millionaires chocolate tart was a winner - rich, decadent. Also has a small food/drink happy hour from 3-6 every day is awesome. We loved the martinis and margaritas (both their frozen slushy and the normal versions).

I made reservations and noted it was my wife's birthday and our first visit to the restaurant. Also, requested dinning room seating. When we arrived we were seated in the bar, nice booth seating but still in the noisy bar and throughout the entire stay, no one ever once mentioned my wife's birthday let alone a dessert. The service was polite and efficient but not extraordinary. The martini was OK. Wife's drink she loved. I will say the entree was spectacular. I had the scallops and wife had the salmon and both were terrific. I've eaten a lot of scallop dishes all over the country and this was a top 3. The skinny fries were not so good but the Mac and cheese was really good. All in all, the food was great while the atmosphere was so so and I don't know why they asked what the occasion was if they were not going to acknowledge it.

Absolutely fabulous! I had a spectacular lunch with some colleagues and we were blown away!! Excellent service, gorgeous restaurant and the food was superb! We had the Steak Tartar for an appetizer and I had the Loupe De Mere. It was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! Highly recommended ♥️

Gorgeous interior and decor. Service was excellent. Food surpassed my expectations. Mussels were plump and full of flavor. Red fish perfectly seasoned and cooked. Bucatini had such a generous amount of crab. Highly highly recommend!!

The buzz in this place was electric. Me and two girlfriends went on a Wednesday evening but it felt like a Friday night. That could be because the venue is new; having only been opened for nine weeks. We love the open concept dining where you can see the bar from the dining area and vice versa. The service was a bit slow, but after the manager’s attention, it was quickly resolved. He even offered us a free appetizer. While this is a seafood restaurant, I ordered the truffle mushroom pasta and added grilled chicken. It was delicious! ***Let’s see if they incentivize me to return for a review of their seafood dishes!***

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was amazing!! Our server Peyton was amazing. The food was so incredible, everything we had we couldn’t stop talking about. We will 100% be back as often as possible - new favorite spot in Dallas. We got the calamari, bucatini (MUST TRY), steak, Mac & cheese with lobster, and the orange olive oil cake.

Wow, what an incredible addition to the Dallas food scene without having to drive to downtown! It’s been a while since we’ve had good seafood in town, the only other place we really enjoy is Montlake Cut. The scallops were absolutely to die for, the appetizers were excellent, and the olive oil cake for dessert was fantastic. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

The Marshi Family has created a very special and amazing concept of elegant dining combined with a proud family owned atmosphere. It is impressive to see the owner Sammy and his son Alec visit each table to ensure that their guests are having an enjoyable dining experience. As soon as you walk through the doors, you are greeted by the hostess, Amelia. She is proudly wearing their classy uniform and a smile that is as infectious as the atmosphere. Thank you Amelia for making my first visit unforgettable. Where can you go in Dallas and have your choice of steak, seafood or Italian pasta? There is something on their menu for everyone. My dining experience started with fried calamari with broccoli and oysters on the half shell accompanied by a Blush Rosé. My server Nicholas never skipped a beat and always made sure that I had fresh water with my meal. The steak and shrimp was cooked to perfection and the whipped mashed potato was picture perfect and garnished beautifully. Presentation and Service is everything and this restaurant over delivers on both. Kudos to their Chef, Omar Flores and staff. I had the pleasure of meeting their GM, Chris Rowberry and their Assistant GM, Chessie Lopez. They were absolutely amazing and you could see how proud they were to represent this awesome team and establishment. It definitely reflected in their leadership and dedication to their role. After completing my dining experience, I moved myself to the bar to see if the energy and ambience of the restaurant would continue. There I met Eddie, Eric and their Bar Manager, Sanjay. They were just as awesome as their colleagues. Eddie made me a delicious drink called Amoré. It was a Hibiscus Liqueur combined with a Blush Prosecco. A hibiscus flower was placed in the center of the stemmed glass and what a beauty it was. Just when you thought this dining experience couldn’t get any better! My server, Nicholas suggested a dessert that they were known for. OMG, I was just served a Texas Millionaire’s Tart that was out of this world!! I may have added the Texas part because I am a proud Texan!! This was a chocolate crust layered with seal salt caramel, a dense chocolate pudding and topped with their homemade whipped cream and roasted candied macadamias. It is lightly dusted with cocoa powder. It was to die for!! As you can see, this dining experience was definitely worth a Five Star Review! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yelp
We had my birthday celebration at Even Coast tonight and it was outstanding. I hope that they can keep doing all the good things about this place. 1. Valet parking is a plus 2. This is a very pretty restaurant and as you know you eat with your eyes. 3. Ambience was outstanding. The restaurant was fully at 6:30 except for a few tables outside but it was too cold for us to even consider that option. 4. We had a very respectful and competent waitress who did not rush us even though we had two late people. 5. Food: we had 3 appetizers: dusted oysters, calamari and burrata salad. (10), we had the wedge salad that we shared for the six of us and we rated it a (10) 6. Each person ordered something different, red fish, branzino, pasta , and steak all were (10) 7. We did not find anything on the dessert menu to try a which were mostly gelatos. Overall, a terrific dining experience to start of 2025. I wish I had read the receipt better because they included the 20% tip but I tipped another 20% on top of the bill (my bad)...

Yelp
I ordered the Creste De Gallo and an Espresso Martini. The service was exceptional, a solid 10/10, and the ambiance was wonderful. The Creste De Gallo was also a perfect 10/10. My only complaint was the Espresso Martini--it was a bit disappointing, so I'd rate it a 5/10. I've definitely had better. That said, I would definitely return, just with a different drink choice next time.

Yelp
Food is tasty. Love the happy hour oysters Service is great. They have back up servers to help when things get busy. No waiting. Ambiance is well done with indoor and outdoor options.

Yelp
WOWZAHHH! 20 STARS Was looking for a great steakhouse and oh boy Even Coast did not disappoint. Love me a place that has all week happy hour. Loved that it was lively with music. The service from Cameron was top notch, he was so kind and gave us amazing recommendations. We started with the fried oysters and they were great. I got the wedge and added hanger steak it was delicious and we also got the cheeseburger 20/10 beyond beyond AMAZING! For dessert we got the almond the cake with pear ice cream, Holy moly !!! This was amazing Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Even Coast is an upscale restaurant the combines seafood, pasta, and steak under one roof. Its exemplary flavors are matched by its service, and the result is a phenomenal experience that will satisfy everyone in your dining party. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Even Coast has a modern, upscale feel. There is a buzz in the air the diners are a mix of families, couples on a date night, and food lovers. The seating flows throughout the restaurant around the busy open kitchen. It's just not rows of tables and chairs. You can tell the owners put as much thought into the dining space as they did on the menu. 1 Star. Service - Our server was very nice and super attentive. He went over the menu in expert detail, made recommendations on dishes we may like, and was quick to call out specials (they just opened for brunch on the weekends.) I felt like an insider. 1 Star. Food - Given the name, I though Even Coast specialized in seafood. Actually, they specialize in steak, seafood, and pasta. This is very important in case you're dining with picky eaters. My son opted for the Prime Rib sandwich with a side of shoestring fries. The prime rib was super tender and when dipped in the au jus, it added a nice, salty beef flavor. I opted for Fish and Chips. The Fish was lightly battered and hot and flakey, but the real star of the dish were the chips (fries if you speak American). These shoestring fries were golden, crispy, and delicious. Pro Tip - dip them in the tartar sauce for a change. Other stars were the oysters (ask your server for regions) and the grilled octopus. I tried a bite of the octopus, and it was the most tender octopus I've ever had in my life. I wish I had ordered it myself. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes! I didn't even get to the steaks or pastas. That's ok, that only gives me an excuse to come back. Welcome to the neighborhood Even Coast! Can't wait to come back. 1 Star.

Yelp
What a beautiful restaurant! Service is spectacular, food is great and the ambiance is great for a family dinner or a date night! Went here for brunch and dinner on Christmas Eve and we had an amazing dining experience! Everyone at the restaurant was so friendly and nice and very attentive! The overall service was so good!! Not just from our server but from the hostess to the manager walking around to see how everything was. The cocktails were delicious and the food was flavorful! I loved all of their pasta dishes! They make the pasta in house so all of their pasta was cooked so perfectly. Even the steak from the kids menu was cooked really well! My toddler loved it and we loved it too! Hahah Definitely recommend this restaurant and we'll be back often! They also have happy hour everyday from 2-6pm!

Yelp
Probably my go to place for seafood/Italian place now. the ambiance is very chic & romantic. Our waiter was okay. He had a hard time listening to us. He would say "let me know when you're ready" we said we're ready to order by he had already walked off. Then when we were ordering he made a comment that we were ordering too much & tried to get us to change our minds. That's for us to decide, he should keep that to himself. We did order a lot as we always do but we finished everything! My favorite is probably the octopus & the Tagliatelle. They were cooked to perfection. Ended the night with the chocolate tart & the Ec affogato. Ec affogato was delicious but you have to eat it quickly. The Manager stopped by our table multiple times & at the end of the night she informed us that they had happy hour 7 days a week. Highly recommend this place, will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu hopefully we'll get a different waiter.

Yelp
Beautiful new restaurant that opened in late 2024. Extraordinary interior design where every detail from the front door to the restrooms is on point and is meticulously executed. Cozy. Service was impeccable. The food was super fresh. Calamari lighted breaded- best I have ever had. Portion not huge. Spanish octopus had hints of chorizo- amazing. Hamburger perfectly cook. Big enough to share. My new favorite restaurant.

Yelp
Contemporary elegance to Even Coast. Impeccable dinner services. A large menu of appetizers, pastas, seafood, and meats to choose from. Having tried many dishes with my multiple visits, I've decided to skip their mains with future visits. Instead ... enthralled and totally satisfied I'll continue to be with their stunning appetizers and pastas, including their perfectly shucked on the Half Shell and beautifully sauced Cornmeal Dusted Oysters and their flavorful Creste de Gallo and rich Lump Crab Bucatini! CHEERS!

Yelp
I will say this about Even Coast: HOLY COW! THIS PLACE IS HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I'VE EVER DINED. Okay, enough with the all caps. I was here a couple weeks ago while in town for a conference and I booked a reservation for my team at the end. There were seven of us and we ordered everything: drinks, raw bar, salads, appetizers, pastas and mains. Everything was delicious. Let's start with our arrival. We Uber'd from the city out to what seemed like the suburbs of Dallas. It was a long ride out to the restaurant and we weren't sure trekking out for a meal would be worth it. I had sent the head of our division out to this restaurant a few days earlier and all we heard about it was that it was fine. So we were skeptical. So we started with oysters on the half shell (two or three people in our party had them) and they were over the moon about them. There were three different sauces for enhanced flavor. I ordered the chilled jumbo shrimp and they were huge and fresh! I also ordered the EC Wedge Salad and removed the pickled onions and the tomatoes and added ranch - it had dill on it which I did not expect and added another flavor profile to the wedge that I truly didn't expect and it was a very welcome change. The table ordered the crispy calamari and they said it was really good. As for mains, one ordered the Creste De Gallo (delicious by the way), one got the special Branzino dish (now I don't like fish or eat fish, but, holy cow, this was delicious!). one got the prime ribeye-delmonico - a really great cut, one got the Charcoal Grilled Spanish Octopus who said it was great (again, I'm allergic), and one got the New Bedford MA Scallops (also very good). Lastly, two of us got the hangar steak with fries and an extra side of the mac and cheese. Wow. Just. Wow. The food was out of this world! The service was incredible. Not only was our server constantly on top of us, but the managers/owners came by to check on us a couple times. Our waters and drinks were always replaced and topped off. The food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. They went all out to make sure everything was perfect for us and it was. When we're back in Dallas, we'll be sure to head back to Even Coast!

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in for a quick, light dinner, thinking maybe a couple of appetizers and a shared salad. My wife had the Pei Mussels with Spanish Chorizo, Garlic, Leeks, Basque Peppers, and White Wine - Lemon Broth, and they were exquisite. For me, it was the Tenderloin Steak Tartare, classically prepared with Lemon, Olive Oil, Truffle Aoli, and a Quail Egg. It was one of the best I've had. Toast points or something other than limp, white bread toast would have made it even more enjoyable. It was our first time at this relatively new North Dallas restaurant, and the food, service, and atmosphere made it one we'll definitely go back to.

Yelp
First my husband was BUST-ed!!! I walked in and he was sitting at the bar! Lol! A friend had mentioned Even Coast to us & I guess we had the same idea! We sat at the bar & Shawn greeted me immediately as well as ratted out my husband for how long he'd been here. I ordered the Greens salad with salmon. The salmon. Was cooked perfectly & flavorful. The salad was fresh. Next time I'll try it with chicken. I had an Amore drink. It was good but too sweet for my taste. Shawn was awesome & gave me a taste of the frozen John D, bourbon Arnold Palmer. It was also good but sweet & frozen for this whiskey girl. It is on happy hour SO...ordered one & added cranberry juice. The restaurant is bright & open. Chill vibe. I'm sure we'll be back!!

Meily A.

Yelp
Great service. Menu has a lot of variety. The wedge salad was good. The octopus was amazing and probably the best octopus I have ever had but to be honest I don't order octopus often. This dish makes me want to order octopus again. Truly delicious. I would love to come back and get some of their freshly made pasta.

John J.

Yelp
Every visit, the food has been amazing. Lunch began with the dusted oysters, which were delicious and had a nice spice/kick to them. The prime rib sandwich or French dip was outstanding. Perfectly tender delicious bread with a side order of perfectly cooked. French fries. Service was excellent and friendly. My daughter thought the cod tacos were delicious as well. Love the ambience vibe.

Yelp
Came across an article about the opening of this restaurant in the Addison area. While we normally wait a month after grand openings for places to work their kinks out, we heard so many great things about this place, why not go on its 6th day of being open? The interior is beautiful. Open and grandiose yet inviting. The hostesses are dressed as Flight Attendants. Such a cute way to add to the ambiance. My SO wasn't drinking that evening but noticed they had a No Fashioned, which is a non-alcoholic version of an Old Fashioned. It was absolutely amazing. Flavor was spot on for an Old Fashioned. Highly recommend to anyone that may want a cocktail but isn't partaking in alcohol for whatever reason. I walked in knowing we were going to order the Cornmeal Dusted Fried Oysters. I saw reviews and photos of them, and I said no matter what - they are a must have. Every single review did not do them justice. They have to be the best fried oysters we have EVER had. So tender, juicy, and crispy with the perfect sauce accompanying it. The spinach just rounded it nicely. The clam chowder sounded so good that I decided to get that. My SO loves his Caesar and ordered that. Both were delicious. The chowder was thinner than I expected, but that was good because it wasn't a heavy mouthfeel. I don't recall a lot of bacon lardons, but that is fine, as too much would overpower the flavor of the clams. I forgot I even had soup crackers because I was so focused on the soup. Definitely did not need them. My SO ordered the Fish N Chips, which is beer battered cod, slaw, tartar, and rosemary matchstick fries. His exact words were "these fries are like crack". He went crazy for them. Perfectly crispy, great balance of rosemary, and nicely salted. The cod was a single, large piece, and it was cooked to perfection. The waiter highly recommended the house made bucatini with lump crab, and he was 1,000% accurate on that call. I can still remember that flavor in my head. Pasta was exactly al dente, which a lot of restaurants do not seem to achieve. The cream sauce had a great zing of lemon, and there was a good amount of lump crab to have with every bite. Definitely worth it. We were both very full after our appetizers and main course, but upon hearing there was an orange olive oil cake with gelato on the menu, we immediately went that direction. That dessert was flawless. The orange came through and complimented the strawberries extremely well. The cake was incredibly moist. To show how much we enjoyed our evening, we booked our anniversary dinner on our drive home. 5/5 stars in all categories.

Yelp
I was lucky to dine at Even Coast on their 3rd day of service. This is an elegant and contemporary restaurant with spacious, comfortable seating and lots of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. There is a U shaped bar with cool cylindrical lighting and an open friendly vibe. There's also an outside area with inviting circular seating. (Too hot right now but will be perfect in a few months). The staff at the door are very warm and welcoming. My party of 4 started with HH drinks. I had an icy cold and flavorful lemon drop that could rival the famous lemon drops from the restaurant down the road (if you're local-you know where!). I loved how the sugar rim was on one side of the martini glass so you can choose to have sugar or not. For my entree I tried the prime beef sandwich with horseradish mayo, caramelized onion and provolone. This sandwich had a generous portion of thinly sliced tender beef that was enhanced by the au jus. The matchstick rosemary fries were the perfect accompaniment. Hubby had the Pacific Swordfish. This was fresh and tender and served with a magical cannellini bean stew with olives and kale. My one small bite (he doesn't share well when it's delicious) transported me back to the fresh flavors of Italy. We also shared the charcoal grilled broccolini which had a nice fiery attitude. Some may wait to try a new restaurant so that the initial kinks are ironed out. Well, as the customer, I experienced extremely smooth and polished service and outstanding food. I'll be back-probably next week!

Nicole G.

Yelp
What a cute, elegant place tucked away on Belt Line! Decor is great. Large bar. Great wine list. Food was really good! We had calamari, wedge salad, and a filet. Calamari was crispy and had some veggies - really enjoyable! The Wedge was really tasty and I love a good wedge! The steak was great! It had a char on it but was so juicy and tender - perfect combo! We will be back... and soon!

Timothy N.

Yelp
The Wait staff immediately got us going with water and other drinks, Appetizer type food was ordered then more substantial food, such as a hamburger for myself. The joint as hopping for a Friday night with sorts of people. It was fun and enjoyable. Heather made the experience well worth our time! Thank you.

Allaina F.

Yelp
A friend and I made it to Even Coast right at the start of happy hour at 2pm. We sat on their patio which was perfectly complimented by the breezy, warm weather. We started with the salmon dip which was delicious and fresh...we added some pepper and then it was perfect. I had the crab bucatini which was filled with lump crab meat and a creamy, lemony sauce on the bucatini. My friend had the burger which had a great taste and well seasoned. We also had lemon drops which set the tone for a cool and easy happy hour.

Jessica S.

Yelp
Nicolas was our server, he was super friendly, helpful with suggestions, and very accommodating! We wanted to add one taco, which he was able to do! The food!! Get the yellowtail crudo! It melts in your mouth and with the slivers of blood orange and cucumbers it is a party in your mouth! The smoked salmon dip was amazing! So much flavor! The fresh dill and pickled red onions are a perfect addition! Those chips are fresh and crispy! Order the Alaskan cod tacos!! The batter on them was light, crispy, and delicious! The salsa on top, holy moly!! So good! This is a great spot for a group of friends or a nice romantic date!

LeeAnne W.

Yelp
We visited the other day and had another outstanding dinner. This time, my husband and I split the 8 oz filet that came with whipped mashed potatoes. It was so good and I loved the delicous char on the outside. Before that we enjoyed a dozen raw oysters for the table, cornmeal dusted oysters, the jumbo lump crab and the bucatini pasta with crab. All of the other items were as enjoyable as they were on our first visit. The service from Sarah was impeccable and I noted this time how quiet this restaurant is compared to others. This is still one of my favorites in the metroplex. Truly perfect food!

Kelly S.

Yelp
My fifth visit as perfect as my first! I'd give them 10 stars if I had the option! Beautiful bar, amazing service and a menu that will set your tastebuds up for a delicious meal!!! A special thank you to Chris and Madison for helping me send off my bff to London! Even Coast has her contemplating a permanent move to the USA!!!

Diane L.

Yelp
The service, food and ambience was right on the mark. We started with a cocktail, I had the passion fruit martini and my boyfriend had the old fashioned. My cocktail was perfect, not too sweet. His ice cube was perfectly clear. For appetizer, we started with the yellowtail crudo, and for entree we did family style. We ordered the Texas red fish which came with a nice Cajun flavored rice and andouille sausage, the truffled tagliatelle ( this is a must!) which is house made and the creamy truffle sauce was everything! We also ordered the broccolini with chili crunch on top. We each ordered a glass of wine which are carefully selected and not too crazy expensive. For dessert we had the Millionaires tart, which was so decadent and rich. It was a great evening and will definitely be back. I love that the restaurant feels like a neighborhood restaurant but not sacrificing quality and feel of a special evening out.

Isaiah S.

Yelp
Wow! Great experience. 10/10 service. Food was amazing. Best oyster experience I've had in years. Jalapeño mignonette was so clean and complimented the very fresh oysters nicely. Lobster roll was good, clam chowder delicious , crab pasta was good, and desert / drinks were awesome. Heather P. was our server and made sure we had an amazing experience, thank you Heather P. and thank you Even Coast! Will be back.

Grace D.

Yelp
My fiancé and I made a last minute decision to have dinner at Even Coast. We were able to get seats at the bar. The restaurant is large and very nicely decorated. Great lively vibe! We ordered the same drink - Sultry Passion. So flavorful more tart than sweet which I prefer. For an app, we got the jumbo shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were huge and delicious and the cocktail sauce and dill sauce really complimented the dish. For my entree, I ordered the fish and chips - not something I would typically ordered but a friend had recommended it. It was a huge piece that wasn't too breaded. It was tasty! My fiancé ordered the 10 oz hangar steak with French fries. It was perfectly cooked - medium. He already wants to go back and eat there. Even Coast is a great date night spot with fabulous food and drinks. We will definitely be adding this place to our lunch/dinner spot rotation!

Yelp
Visited this establishment last week and again this past Monday, experiencing both table and bar sides. The food is great, drinks are nice, and the HH is hands down the best I have encountered in a while. HH favorites are crab dip and chips. I heard both the cold and lightly dusted oysters were tasty and fresh. Camron on the barside is top notch no offense to the other staff, my only interaction was with him. Definitely worth a visit and many returns.

Kathy C.

Yelp
Got the Spanish octopus , young green salad , oysters , clam chowder , and shrimp poboy. All were delicious . Whoever did their interior design was on point . Great date spot with good food. Toffee dessert was also good

Dawn S.

Yelp
The mushrooms fricasse at Even Coast are divine The best I have ever had in my life in any country !

Aqua H.

Yelp
An incredible experience for our anniversary last night. The lump crab and mussels were incredible to start, extremely flavorful and unique combinations. For a main course, we split the bucatini which was kindly individually portioned for us. The drink menu has great variety, and I found the dirty vodka martini to be exceptional. Finally, the desserts (pistachio gelato and olive oil cake were our choices) were very fresh and delicious. Service was wonderful and we received a visit from several team members making sure we found the meal satisfactory and our waiter was both attentive and offered us great suggestions. Happy hour menu is quite reasonable as well- will definitely return!

Chelsey A.

Yelp
Amazing food and even better service. The pear salad was so refreshing and the fall branzino dish was beyond amazing. One of the best dinners we've had in a while in Dallas area. Then the almond cake was an amazing dessert. Go eat here asap and have Sydney as your waitress. You won't be disappointed.

Tonny S.

Yelp
The red fish and the earl grey martini were great suggestions, the bar tender Cameron recommended both and I will definitely be back! Great flavors, great service, beautiful ambiance ! New restaurant hidden gem so far but I loved it! I'll be back

Ernie K.

Yelp
We went to check this place out yesterday and they seriously need to work on their portions. Fried calamari had maybe small 8-9 pieces at the most and for what they charged, I wanted to send it back. PEI mussels were great though and pretty much everything we got. But come on! You can charge like $20 and only give that little when PEI mussels were plentiful. And my pasta portion was tiny as well. Service was good and like the ambiance but not sure if I would consider coming here again.

Jana S.

Yelp
Beautiful classy ambiance! My friend and I came for happy hour! Their happy hour is 2-6pm 7 days a week! They have drink and food specials!

Carol R.

Yelp
Horrible experience has dropped this from my favorite new place to nothing. Came in alone. Sat at the bar. A helper brought me water and a list of nuts. I was ignored for 10-15 minutes. Knew exactly what I wanted to order but not one person in the well staffed restaurant cared to even acknowledge me. One bartender was covering the bar and all she did was focus on making drinks for the waiters and chatting. She never even looked at me. 10 minutes I. A nice looking man came and also sat at the bar. She sure acknowledged him! I have gushed about Evencoast because I was happy the 6 times I've come with family and friends. I work and live I. The area and sung their praises. Call me petty, but this one bad experience will keep me from coming back. I am so disappointed. I'll skip eating today.

Ethan Bryce W.

Yelp
Attended Even Coast upon the recommendation of a work colleague prompted by the Monday burger crave. Little did I know this was not a burger joint at all, very classy spot that specializes in market fresh seafood dishes and is also a steakhouse. I still went with the burger and was not disappointed by any measure of the imagination. One of the juiciest burgers I've ever had with a special sauce that was the perfect complement to the melted cheese and seared meat. I recommend eating the fries with a fork, not conventional by any means, but they are matchstick so super thin and crispy, yet delicious. Over all very pleased with our Monday lunch experience and will attend in the future for a dinner. Sarah our server was also very kind and courteous of our time. Thank you Even Coast!

Yelp
The staff is amazing including valets outside, my problem is with "mangers and above" , you can tell they treat their staff poorly and the guests are just money nothing more ...if you treat your staff poorly then you will also treat your guests poorly. Do better .

Yelp
Service was great. Food was great. Highlights were salmon dip, fish & chips, mac n cheese, and bucatini (#1).

Yelp
Food was excellent! Smallish portions but that's great for sampling if you enjoy sharing meals. Service was attentive. The star of the show is the ambiance. It's a lovely restaurant. We had lump crab, scallops, and broccolini. We also got the almond cake for dessert. In hindsight, we should have also ordered a salad or appetizer just to round out the meal, but we didn't know the portion sizes until later. I ordered a delicious drink that was served in a whimsical red fish cup! A hoot. The critique that kept them from a 5 star was the way we felt rushed the entire time. There's good service and then there's "let's get them in and out quickly". For a place that I booked a reservation weeks out, I was surprised to find that at the hour marker we started noticing that our table was being "eyed" by the waitstaff and managers. A Friday evening dinner should be minimally an hour and half before any sort of nudging occurs. It's not fast food! I would return and would enthusiastically recommend it to friends, but I would warn them that it's not the kind of sit back and relax place. It's great to pop in, or choose to sit at the bar if you don't want to rush.

Yelp
We came for Sunday brunch, the restaurant was relatively new so there was no wait time and the service was great. Great ambiance and food. My favorites appetizers were the hamachi crudo and beef tartare. ALL the pastas were amazing especially the mushroom tagliatelle and crab bucatini! And we ended with the olive oil cake which is pretty tasty.

Yelp
Wonderful lightly fried oysters with champagne...all on happy hour. My husband had the burger which was perfectly cooked. I wish I could have said the same about my steak but second time is a charm, steak from home town Chicago, was perfectly seasoned and charred over a wood oak grill! So delicious. Service was on point, everyone working together. My new favorite spot in the neighborhood!

Yelp
The food was excellent. Very flavor and made just right. Sam was our waiter and he was very pleasant. I loved that he offered a bag holder for our purses. The portion sizes are not really big but it's definitely delicious!

Yelp
The best service on a Saturday afternoon! Hubby took me on a date to Even Coast and this place did not disappoint. We were greeted by the host and sat down in a big circular booth. Very welcoming ambiance throughout the restaurant. The food was impeccable, our eyes were bigger than our stomach, we opted for Maine oysters, wedge salad, calamari, and a medium rare steak with broccolini.

Yelp
Food & atmosphere is great. The layout is very open & inviting. Very much enjoyed the prime beef sandwich. Will return for sure.

Yelp
Yesterday night I had the pleasure of stopping by this concept restaurant. I had just finished a long day of work and noticed how highly recommended it came. Lo and behold it's only been open for 2 weeks now . Nonetheless it was a stellar experience. Immediately walking up to it you notice the large windows showcasing the ambiance inside, which simply doesn't do it justice. The music choice is exquisite and the staff only work at furthering the experience. My server, Trinity, was not only intoxicatingly beautiful, but she had a wealth of knowledge and did a full walkthrough of the menu, while including her own recommendations. For appetizers, The Steak Tartare. I've had tuna tartare a few times, but this was on a different level. It had a complex depth of flavor, which made it extremely addictive. It was a tad on the salty side but I love salt so definitely a winner. 9.2 out of 10 for sure. After ordering entrees, I was so enticed by the description of the food my server gave me that I also tried the pasta she recommended. Bucatini. This was an incredible balance of simple but delicious pairings. You could taste the lemon cutting through the richness of the sauce with every bite. Served on a perfect al dente thick spaghetti. 9.5 out of 10, might be the best pasta I've ever had! For Entrees, The Spanish Octopus. This plate was a masterpiece. From the smear of the perfectly emulsified sauce, to the smokey, tender, juicy, moist octopus, down to the precisely placed potatoes and broccolini. For a protein so tricky, I can tell the chefs are master of their craft. 9.4 out of 10, simply amazing! Usually I'd say dinner isn't complete without dessert, but after a long day I opted for a drink instead. Their Muchacho Margarita is phenomenal. Not too strong, not too sweet, and extremely refreshing. 8.5 out of 10. If you're looking to have an experience over just dinner, you've got to try this place!

Yelp
Service is better than any other restaurant in Addison or Far North Dallas. We know because we've tried them all. We've been going to Even Coast 1-2 times per week since it opened. Love all their fish dishes. Cocktails great too. But it's their service that truly stands out. But if they want longevity in the neighborhood it would be wise to cater to the over 40 set rather than the 20-30yo's. They might be beautiful and make a restaurant look happening...but they are fickle and don't have the $$$. Seen too many restaurants like this focus on the trendy and beautiful 20-30yo's only to close down in a year because they're not spending enough per capita and they move onto the next newest trendy restaurant.

Yelp
Well, food was the best part. The service was terrible for 6pm on a Thursday night with a reservation. Took quite some time for drinks and food orders and refills. Celebrating a birthday and thought we were given a desert with the meal but ended up paying for it - not a problem was just surprised and would have rather gone to Andy's to be honest. Cool atmosphere. Hoping to come back and get better service, I guess?

Yelp
Nice combination of quality food and drinks with great atmosphere. Valet parking or a garage behind the building.
